Blurry movement could be seen through Vincent's groggy eyes slowly regaining his senses he felt his arm shaking. Opening his eyes, he was met with Aurora's worried face.

"Aurora? Wait, what time is it?" Vincent gazed over his plain white bedside table locating the clock that sat containing the time. "Oh shit, I'm late!" Vincent threw the blanket off him and hopped out of bed. "Can you wait outside while I change?" Vincent requested.

"Braix!" Aurora willingly stepped outside waiting for Vincent; he then quickly searched through his closet for his work clothes changing into them as he found his attire. Exiting his room, he saw Aurora curiously peering at an old family photo. Vincent was still a young boy when the photo was taken behind him, his father standing proud and tall with a hand on Vincent's shoulder while his mother was sitting on a beautiful chair elegantly with her hands resting atop her knees; they looked so happy back then.

"That old photo caught your eye, eh?" Vincent walked next to Aurora's side admiring the photo himself. Aurora held her paws together and looked at Vincent only nodding. "I think this is my favorite photo in the whole house. Reminds me of back then…" Vincent's eyes lowered to the carpeted ground a negative feeling developing inside him. Aurora's ears slightly drooped she then went to reach for his arm before loud obnoxious beeps made itself heard from Vincent's watch. "O-Oh how could I forget! Let me fix something up for you before I go!" Vincent attested.

"B-Braixen!" Aurora walked downstairs heading for the kitchen with Vincent following. Entering the kitchen Vincent cooked up a small and simple meal to last Aurora throughout the day.

"I gotta go now before my parents kill me, I'll see you soon Aurora!" Vincent patted himself down making sure he had everything he needed.

"Brai, Braixen!" ("Have a good day at work Master!") Vincent snapped his gaze over to Aurora with a confused face unsure if he heard Aurora talking or not…

"Did you…?" Vincent paused a moment before ignoring what he thought. "Aaagh never mind I should get going," Aurora herself had a confused face but ignored her confusion waving goodbye. "Bye Aurora!" Vincent then walked out the front door to his car driving to work before he was further late.

Arriving at the office Vincent tried his complete best to ignore any glances he felt stabbing the back of his head. Walking through all his co-workers' cubicles, he entered his personal office and sat down by his desk so he could get to work without any further delay. Soon Vincent heard a knock on his door thinking it was one of his co-workers bringing in more paperwork.

"Come in!" Vincent permitted whoever entered the room, Vincent was not bothered to turn his head.

"I think it's safe to say I am deeply disappointed in you Vincent" Vincent's eyes widened recognizing the voice behind him, turning around he locked eyes with his mother's narrowed eyes.

"Mother!? What are you doing here? Vincent questioned nervously, hoping she didn't notice he was late.

"Well, I came by your house yesterday, but you weren't home, so I decided to see you at work today only to figure out you were late? I thought we raised you better than this son." Vincent's mother scolded unimpressed that he was caught late.

"I'm very sorry Mother, it won't happen again. I had an eventful day yesterday." Vincent was mentally begging her to let this whole fiasco go.

"Better not, because if your father and I plan on you inheriting this company you can't be ignoring your duties." Vincent sighed nodding remembering all his similar conversations about the same topic.

"I understand Mother…" Vincent unenthusiastically nodded once again. Vincent never truly wanted this job, he always dreamt of getting a job researching the hundreds of Pokémon in the world but he knew it was just some silly dream, at least back then it seemed wondrous.

"Anyways getting back to the topic, the reason I wanted to see you is that your father and I wanted to see if you're willing to have dinner with us." Vincent slowly opened his eyes with slight confusion.

"Dinner? With just the three of us?" Vincent's mother smiled with a nod. "Where?" Vincent asked, wondering.

"Ever been to that fancy restaurant with the magnificent view? I'm sure you've been there once or twice." Vincent's mother's voice seemed confident.

"I would love to but…" Vincent then remembered who he had waiting at home "I have to decline," Vincent then stammered quickly speaking. "I-It's not like I-I don't want to go or anything, it's just I…" Vincent then took a deep breath readying himself to admit the one thing his parents would dread. "I kind of… took in a Pokémon…?" Vincent had a pale face lowering his head waiting for an outburst.

"You… What?" Vincent's mother was unsure what she had heard at first before raising her voice "Vincent you should know how we feel about Pokémon," Vincent's mother displayed a stern face "You better get rid of whatever you have raiding your home by next week no expectations." Vincent's mother was dead set on her decision.

"W-What!? N-No! That's the one thing I will and cannot do!" Vincent raised his voice as well but with more stammering scared of what his mother might do.

"Yes. Yes, you will. Vincent, I raised you with the right mindset to adapt to this company." Vincent's mother quickly snapped back.

"Mother you don't understand! Aurora has been the one thing I've been looking forward to since forever!" Vincent protested back still with a sense of worry.

"Aurora…? Didn't you name a wild beast like that with that ill-mannered girl when you were kids?" Vincent realized he had let Aurora's name slip too soon to fix his mistake.

"Uhm yeah… I kinda got into contact with her not that long ago…" Vincent took a sharp breath through his teeth knowing he just ticked off his mother even greater

"You should know this just as well Vincent, we don't like you hanging around that nuisance of a girl," Vincent's mother then mutters behind her breath "To think we could finally get rid of that girl if we moved you away…" Despite his mother's poor attempt to keep that information secret, Vincent heard her loud and clear, narrowing his brows with disbelief.

"You did what…?" Vincent stood from his chair, so he was at eye level with his mother, his mother sighed realizing what she had said. "Is that what you meant all those years ago when you said I was too young to understand…?

"Vincent, you know we did it for your own good." Vincent's mother cupped her hand placing that hand on her forehead, rubbing it to ease her agitated mood. Vincent scoffed looking down at the floor disappointed at his parents' actions.

"I think I should go," Vincent sternly stated. "Aurora is waiting for me after all." Vincent quickly grabbed his things and walked past his mother exiting his office leaving his mother alone.

"You should know what your father would think Vincent!" Despite his best efforts to ignore her last remark, Vincent knew his father wouldn't be so forgiving. Vincent entered the elevator the last thing he heard when the doors closed was soft whispers of gossip. Reaching the lobby floor Vincent exited the building going straight to the parking garage in search of his car. Entering his car, he started the engine and drove home hoping he could relax for a few hours before he had to get ready for tomorrow.

Driving into the driveway Vincent parked his car killing the engine. Vincent sat in the car for less than a minute before he sighed and stepped out walking to the front door. Opening the door Vincent was immediately greeted by Aurora jumping into his arms. Vincent, out of shock, almost stumbled back outside. Vincent then brought himself together and reciprocated the hug.

"Braaiiii!" ("Masstterrr!") Vincent once again heard the same feminine voice in his head, Vincent thought nothing of it and believed he was just tired. "Braixen! Brai!" ('I've missed you!") Vincent, confused, stepped fully inside, closing the door behind him before setting down Aurora.

"Was that you Aurora?" Vincent fixed his gaze on Aurora though it seemed she didn't know what her master was referencing.

"Huh…?" Aurora only hummed in confusion; still unsure what Vincent meant.

"N-Nevermind I just had a stressful day at work heh-heh…" Vincent nervously chuckled, recollecting the argument he had with his mother. Aurora tilted her head in response with a curious expression as a sign for him to continue. "My mother visited me while at work and we… Kinda had a disagreement of sorts…" Aurora hummed with a comforting tone, though she never knew Vincent's parents she did have an idea of what they were like. Aurora would remember Vincent's defeated expressions whenever he would visit Clare and her, left to guess Vincent had strict parents.

"Brai… Braixen.~" Aurora wrapped her arms around Vincent's body nuzzling into his chest in an attempt to comfort him Vincent sighed in pleasure returning the hug resting his chin atop Aurora's head. Aurora blushed, her tail wagging enjoying every sense of touch she had received.

"Thank you… You know how to make me feel better heh-heh…" Vincent faintly chuckled, thanking Aurora for her loving care filled actions. "So… How would you like it if we continue our reading lessons?" Aurora's ears perked up. She then stepped into Vincent's view and had a fangy wide smile.

"Braix! Braixen, Brai!" Aurora grabbed Vincent's wrist with both paws dragging him along.

"Okok give me a moment heh-heh." Vincent recollected himself and followed Aurora into the library. Vincent picked a few advanced books confident Aurora wouldn't have any trouble then both of them went upstairs into Aurora's room after grabbing supplies from Vincent's office.

"Just like last time alright?" Same as the last session, they sat together on the carpet floor next to Aurora's bed to use as a headrest. Vincent had Aurora read through the book he brought, helping her read out words she didn't know. On the plus side, Aurora's writing had a huge jump in readability, surprising Vincent with her quick learning abilities. A few hours have passed, and the sun has gone down, the moon taking its place in the sky lighting the landscape with beautiful moonlight. Vincent noticed how drowsy Aurora looked, her ears were slightly lowered and her eyes fluttered open occasionally.

"I think we should end it for today… It's pretty late after all," Aurora replied with a fatigued nod. "Let's get you to bed now." Vincent stood up taking Aurora's paws up with him. Aurora slid onto her bed covering herself with the sheets she then looked into Vincent's emerald-colored eyes with a light pink shaded blush and smile.

"Brai… Xen.~" (Thank you… Master.~) Vincent grinned, leaning forward towards Aurora and giving her forehead a light peck.

"You're welcome Aurora." Vincent stood upright walking away from the blushing and baffled vixen. Vincent turned off the lights leaving the room lit by nightly blues and left Aurora's room retreating to his room leaving Aurora in reflection wondering if the man she crushed on truly understood her.

"Braix…?" Aurora stared at the ceiling blushing mad wishing for answers, she then grew determined, looking forward to learning more to solve her questions. Meanwhile, Vincent got changed and ready for bed pondering about the feminine voice he continued hearing.

"Maybe I should speak to Aurora about the voice I keep hearing…" Vincent mentally told himself. Vincent then hopped into bed drifting off into sleep.

(Next day)

Vincent woke up feeling weary staring at the blank-colored ceiling. Slowly waking up fully Vincent felt something moving by his side. Vincent lifted his body spotting a snoozing Aurora sitting on a chair (which Vincent guessed she brought in,) laying her head and arms peacefully on the edge of the mattress, her back raising up and down caused by slumbrous breaths.

"Did she worry about me oversleeping again…?" Vincent questioned sitting straight placing his head atop Aurora's head and petting her.

"Xen…?" Aurora's eyes fluttered open sluggishly, lifting her head and locking clumsy eyes with Vincent's. "B-B-Braah!?" Aurora blushing red shot up immediately standing head level with Vincent. Aurora covered her blushing face with her ear tufts, she then scurried off embarrassed.

"W-Wait, A-Aurora!" Vincent threw the sheets off him following after Aurora, concerned. Vincent stepped into the hallway walking towards a cracked open door to Aurora's room. Upon opening the door Vincent gawked at a purple vixen standing in front of her standing mirror hovering her paw on her heart with an unaltered blush. Aurora then turned around after spotting Vincent in the mirror she started twiddling with her fingers, her mouth opening and closing unsure of what she should say. "Are you… Ok? I didn't do anything wrong did I?" Vincent said in a worried tone with an insecure expression. Aurora looked at Vincent with a small smile nodding, easing Vincent's worries.

"X-Xen… Braix, Braixen Brai. ("I-I'm fine… You did nothing wrong, Master.") Vincent seemed unfazed when he once again heard the feminine voice in his head using this moment to ask Aurora the question he thought of last night.

"O-Oh that's good… Also, are you perhaps talking to me through… Telepathy?" Vincent hesitantly said which only made Aurora tilt her head in confusion; it seemed she only knew as much as he did. "N-Nevermind it was just some silly thought," Vincent brushed his crazy thought away before speaking up again. "Anyways I'm gonna get changed. I'll meet you downstairs alright?" Vincent did a short wave bye before returning to his room so he could dress."

Vincent did the same tasks he would do like any other day before he said his goodbyes to Aurora hugging her impulsively out of habit. The days went by the same as any other day, go to work, come back home to teach Aurora. But instead of meeting him at the door like she always did Vincent would find her laying on her bed reading books about psychic Pokémon or psychic abilities, in general, Vincent heard the female voice a lot more commonly since she started reading those books filling the man with curiosity. This went on for about two weeks until one day Vincent would hear the voice every sentence Aurora spoke in her native tongue confirming Vincent's theory that the female voice was indeed Aurora's. Vincent during one of their sessions decided to bring up the topic of telepathy again.

"Hey… Aurora…" Vincent looked into Aurora's ambered-colored eyes.

"Brai, Braixen?" ("Yes, Master?") Aurora looked into Vincent's shiny emerald pearls grinning with a faint blush and her tail wagging.

This might seem insane but… I think I can… Understand you?" Vincent nervously said, running his hand through his hair.

"Huh?" Aurora hummed in confusion tilting her head.

"It's a little confusing… I think you're speaking to me through telepathy?" Aurora's ears" perked up hearing the last word Vincent spoke.

"Braixen, Brai! ("I think I've seen that word before!") Braix, Brai." ("In one of my books.") Aurora continues. "Braixen, Xen" ("Let me try something…") Vincent raised an eyebrow.

"Try what…?" Aurora didn't answer, she only closed her eyes in focus, concentrating.

("Try this,") Vincent heard Aurora's voice but without her speaking outside his mind. Vincent's eyes widened in surprise. ("Can you still hear me, Master?")

"Uh… Yeah, I can…" Vincent said, confirming in bewilderment.

("Really Master!?") Aurora said, scooching near inches away from Vincent's face.

"Y-Yeah, really…" Vincent asserted blushing lightly. "How is this even possible though?" Vincent questioned in a tone of disbelief.

("Well, the books I've been reading have a page about Braixens and it turns out we have similar abilities to psychic Pokémon,") Aurora explained. ("So, I thought if I kept learning I could soon control my abilities, tihi~") Vincent, although still confused, nodded.

"I may not fully understand this whole situation… But what matters is that I can finally understand you heh-heh…" Vincent admitted nervously, chuckling.

Aurora then hugged Vincent closing the small gap between them before speaking in Vincent's mind again. ("There has been so much I wished to say but couldn't…") Vincent hugged her back looking at the pale white wall with confusion.

"What did you want to say?" Vincent said, pondering on the possibilities.

("That's a secret tihi~ since there's still so much left to go with the few barriers, I can't quite conquer…") Aurora said with a somber tone leaving Vincent with more questions yet something deep down told him whatever she needed to say would change his life forever.

"I guess I'll have to wait and see huh…?" Vincent said, leaving his questions for later.

("Don't worry Master, you'll hopefully find out soon enough. ~") Aurora said in a teasing tone, exciting Vincent for what's to come in the future but immediately soon after was filled with surprise and panic of his emotions.

"I-I shouldn't imagine things like that… What would my parents think? Let alone Clare, she would probably kill me if she knew I thought such perverted feelings of Aurora like that…" Vincent was in a mental battle with himself leaving a troubled expression manifesting which Aurora caught eye of.

("You feeling ok Master?") Aurora inched away from the soft embrace to look at Vincent's puzzled expression watching him with her curious sparkling amber eyes.

"H-Huh? O-Oh uhm…" Vincent's voice stammered before pausing looking for the right words to say. "S-Sorry, I might be exhausted from work today. My parents have been overworking me since the argument…" Vincent said making a half-lie of an excuse though his parents have been working his ass off ever since the disagreement.

("Oh! If you're tired Master, shouldn't we stop for today?") Aurora said spacing away from Vincent sitting on her knees.

"I-It's not that late, we can continue our lesson." Vincent said reassuringly.

("Nope! Already made my mind you need your sleep, Master.") Aurora stood up on her feet grabbing Vincent's wrist and pulling him up. ("Let's get you to bed Master! ~") Aurora said in a sweet loving tone pushing Vincent forward from behind.

"A-Aurora, you know it isn't a big deal…" Vincent continued to assure that he was fine. Entering Vincent's room Aurora hugged Vincent from behind burying her face into his shirt.

("Shusshh it's ok to be tired Master. ~") Aurora's hushed sweet voice made Vincent blush, especially how forward she's gotten although Vincent could tell she's putting in so much effort to not burn into a red mess.

"F-Fine, if it'll make you happy Aurora." Vincent turned around and smiled at the purple vixen. Vincent then visualized steam rising above Aurora's head making him chuckle.

("M-Master may I ask a f-favor?") Aurora spoke up using the last bits of her courage.

"Yeah, of course, you don't need to ask permission sweetheart."

("C-Could I-I possibly sleep with y-you tonight?") Aurora had a pleading gaze causing Vincent to shudder.

"S-Sure if that's something you w-want…" Vincent said nervously stuttering looking away from Aurora's yearning gaze of desire. "Y-You probably slept in the same bed with Clare s-so-" Vincent was cut off by Aurora's tightening grip, her claws lightly piercing Vincent's shirt and poking his skin.

("I-I'm sorry for being so selfish M-Master") Aurora spoke with a delicate somber tone. Vincent hummed in a confused manner as a reply to the timid purple vixen's statement. ("I've always wanted to be this close to you Master but I feel as if I'm manipulating your kindness…") Aurora loosened her grasp on Vincent's torso.

"Aurora, you're not being selfish…" Vincent turned around to face Aurora lowering his height to Aurora's and clasped her paws. "If it makes you feel better, I want you to stay with me instead of going back to Clare." Vincent said, confessing.

("R-Really? You want me to stay?") Aurora looked at Vincent with big gleaming eyes.

"Yes, absolutely." Vincent said with a grin. Aurora had a tear in her eye before lunging into Vincent. The two silently sat still enjoying each other's embrace before Aurora spoke up.

("N-Not to ruin the moment b-but should we head to bed?") Aurora pushed herself away from the embrace to stand up Aurora fidgeted with her feet waiting for Vincent's reply.

"R-Right," Vincent then stood up shortly after he then brought his attention over to his bed. "Can you wait outside while I get ready?" Vincent turned his head back towards Aurora watching her nod as she walked out of his room. Vincent then changed into more comfortable clothing before opening his door which revealed Aurora standing patiently running a paw through her chest fluff. Aurora's ears perked up hearing the door creak open, turning around with a nervous expression.

"I'm uh… ready when you are…" Vincent stepped clear from the door allowing Aurora to enter his room. Aurora made her way toward Vincent's bed standing fidgeting with her feet once again

("Would you l-like to join me tonight? ~") Aurora spoke in a seductive alluring tone on top of a devious look peering into Vincent's eyes and making his heartbeat crazy.

"Y-Yeah I-I would love to." Vincent cautiously crawled into one side of his bed with Aurora crawling into the other. Vincent shifted his body searching for a comfortable and less embarrassing position. Vincent settled with his back facing Aurora hearing quiet breathing and her shuffling movements they both settled down with Vincent sleeping into a deep slumber.

Vincent Woke up in the middle of the night opening his eyes to a room filled with dark blue moonlight. Vincent's wandering gaze soon landed on Aurora's peaceful resting face; he couldn't help but blush at the elegant sight. Vincent heedlessly brushed his hand against Aurora's cheek enjoying the softness of her fur. Soon the vixen's eyelids sluggishly opened, locking eyes with Vincent's, and instead of flinching away with embarrassment, she smiled slyly, placing a paw on atop Vincent's hand as to urge him to continue stroking her cheek.

"Braaiii!~" Aurora leaned into Vincent's palm moaning in pleasure.

"S-Sorry I didn't mean to wake you…" Vincent apologized, still running his fingers through Aurora's white fur.

("Don't worry Master, I was still awake… Kinda… tihi~") Aurora crawled closer inches away from Vincent.

"Kinda? You need to sleep as much as me y'know…" Vincent's hand trailed down to Aurora's waist thanks to her guiding his hand to the spots she enjoyed.

("You don't know how much I love your touch, Master. ~") Aurora ignored Vincent's light scolding, appreciating the attention she was receiving. Aurora then placed both paws on Vincent's chest feeling his rapid beating heart and looking into Vincent with longing. ("Master's heart is beating so fast… I didn't know I had such effects…~") Aurora pressed her ear against Vincent's chest, taking satisfaction in every thump of his heart.

"A-Aurora I-I…" Vincent was hesitant about what to say before Aurora spoke up again.

("Hold me, Master…~ I want to be closer…~") Aurora's alluring tone made Vincent blush as he spontaneously wrapped his arms around Aurora's waist just above her tail.

"L-Like this…?" Vincent asked for confirmation while Aurora nodded in assurance.

("Since we have the time… I thought I should show how thankful I am for everything you've done for me…") Aurora looked at Vincent's bewildered face with a melancholy expression.

"I haven't done much honestly…" Vincent's eyes drifted off towards the pale wall as Aurora desperately shook her head.

("But you have! Even the little things mean so much to me… You devoted so much time to me and it seems unfair I haven't returned the favor…") Vincent opened his mouth to reject the thought she needed to do anything but before he could, Aurora spoke up again, invading Vincent's mind. ("Please just this once allow me?") Aurora had a pleading expression with wide sparkling eyes.

"S-Sure… If that's what you want…" Vincent mentally panicked, unsure of what the vixen meant.

("T-Thank you, Master…") Aurora smiled as she slid her paws upward to Vincent's shoulder and tilted her head slightly moving slowly towards Vincent's face. All the while Vincent still panicked, scared, and unsure of the bizarre moment though the other half of him wanted her desperately in hopes of her actions of what Vincent speculated she planned on. Aurora closed her eyes cutting the distance between them even shorter but before Aurora could even lock lips with Vincent a loud obnoxious ring rang out echoing throughout the room. Aurora pushed herself back surprised at her actions and sudden noise blushing furiously while Vincent frailed out of bed beat red in search of his phone

"Arceus! Who could be calling me at this hour...?" Vincent mentally said talking to himself with a hint of irritation yet relief. "Mother…?" Vincent accepted the call putting the phone to his ear instantly hearing his mother's voice.

"Oh, Vince honey, I didn't expect you to pick up so early in the morning." Vincent looked at Aurora who was covering half of her flushed face with a blanket.

"I was uh… Finishing some files from yesterday I didn't get done…" Vincent squeezed his eyes shut hoping his mother would believe him.

"Well it's great to hear that you're working hard but your father would like to speak to you first thing in the morning." Vincent raised an eyebrow.

"What? Why?" Vincent said questioning

"Who knows what that man wants nowadays, ugh, anyways please come by our mansion alright?" Before Vincent could protest his mother said her goodbyes and hung up. Vincent sighed heavily, placing his phone on his end table before sitting on the edge of his bed smacking his face with both palms.

"Uggghhh…" Vincent let out a loud groan.

("You ok Master…?") Aurora crawled from behind leaning into his ear mimicking a whisper making Vincent shiver.

"Y-Yeah I'm f-fine just worried is all…" Vincent leaned his head back to admire Aurora's shiny purple fur.

("Worried about what?") Aurora tilted her head towards Vincent's neck nuzzling into him. Vincent put a hand atop Aurora's head petting her.

"My father… He can be pretty harsh sometimes…" Vincent claimed, reminiscing his past meetings with his father.

("Well you'll see him tomorrow morning, correct?") Vincent nods in response. ("Then I believe you should get some rest Master.") Aurora lightly tugs on Vincent's shirt with big amber pleading eyes

"You're right…" Aurora smiles and lays back down on her side of the bed and Vincent does the same.

("Goodnight Master. ~") Aurora clung to Vincent's side nuzzling into him.

"Goodnight Aurora…" Vincent wrapped an arm around Aurora and closed his eyes preparing his mentality finally he fell into a deep sleep with Aurora right by his side."

(Next Day)

Vincent, gaining his senses, felt weight atop him patting the source of the weight and feeling soft fur he slowly opened his eyes noticing Aurora who laid sound asleep. Vincent couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked while he scratched behind her ear. As much he hated to wake her up he had to so he could see his father for whatever the man wanted.

"Hey, Aurora, sweety…" Vincent softly whispered, waking the drowsy vixen.

"Braaiii…?" Aurora pushed herself up and stretched afterward she looked around the plain and simple room before setting her eyes on Vincent, blushing to realize she had slept on him during the rest of the night.

"As much as I love how comfortable this is, I'm going to need to get up now. hehe..." Vincent chuckled lowly, feeling sorry for waking Aurora.

("S-Sorry Master! I must've rolled o-onto y-you in my sleep, I'll get off now!") Aurora frantically explained hopping off Vincent's bed.

"It's alright Aurora I didn't mind heh-heh." Vincent soon after slid out of bed stretching his whole body's muscles. "Can you wait downstairs while I get changed, please?" Vincent relaxed his arms walking toward his cream-colored closet doors.

("O-Oh o-of course M-Master") Aurora did a cute curtsey and exited Vincent's room making her way downstairs. Vincent then after watching Aurora leave proceeded to change his clothes to a pleasing formal attire. Afterward, Vincent went downstairs to meet with Aurora in the kitchen where she patiently waited. It wasn't long before Aurora noticed Vincent's presence. ("A-Ah hello M-Master!") Aurora held her paws together with an eager expression greeting Vincent.

"Hey there my sweet Aurora." Vincent grinned as he put his palm on Aurora's head petting her. "May I cook breakfast for the two of us?" Aurora nodded then Vincent stopped petting the vixen and stepped in front of his fridge searching for ingredients. Finding his desired meal he continued to the stove heating the items he received. It wasn't before long when Vincent prepared a plate for the both of them and began eating. As they ate Vincent stole glances at Aurora admiring her stunning beautiful figure or so what Vincent thought immediately cursing himself for such crazy sentiments.

("Master…?") Aurora's voice spooked Vincent out of his thoughts, snapping his lowered gaze to Aurora's amber pearls.

"Y-Yes?" Vincent bit his lip hoping her psychic abilities didn't go as far as mind reading.

("You seem… Troubled Master…") Aurora had a look of concern, her eyes filled with worry for her beloved master.

"U-Uhhh…" Vincent paused for a moment before speaking again. "I'm just worried that's all heh-heh…" Vincent awkwardly stood up with his empty plate and went towards the sink, placing it down, running the tap, and washing the stains.

("Are you sure…?") Aurora followed suit stepping next to Vincent with her semi-clean plate. Vincent looked down at Aurora's skeptical eyes, instantly locking eyes Vincent shot his gaze away blushing mad remembering the night before, especially how close she got.

"Y-Yeah I'm sure…" Vincent kept his gaze away from Aurora grabbing a nearby sponge and scrubbing away the messes on the two plates.

("Your face is all red though… Is Master perhaps sick?") Aurora clung her whole body onto Vincent with a sly devious grin out of Vincent's view. ("You should stay home Master… I could take care of my Master…") Vincent resisted the urge to look over to Aurora still pressing his gaze on the sink.

"A-As m-much as I would love to stay home, I can't skip any family meetings…" Vincent leaned on his sink. "Especially my father…" Vincent whispered.

("Awwh…") Aurora's ears slumped as she loosened her grip. ("You sure you can't stay?") Aurora looked at Vincent with pleading eyes.

"Y-Yeah, I'm sure." Vincent swallowed his regrets and looked at the purple vixen his face still flushed.

("Oookay… Tell me how it goes alright Master? With your father and all…") Aurora stepped away from Vincent and released his body from her grasp, settling her arms and paws behind her back.

"I better get going now… Don't need the man upstairs to disown me…" Vincent mentally and physically chuckled, afterward he said his goodbyes to Aurora and stepped outside. "Jeez, it's sure getting hotter this week… Summer must be coming up soon…" Vincent pondered as he felt the heat from the bright sun before heading towards his car, starting it upon entering. Vincent then drove off to his family's home preparing for what was to come.

After a long drive, Vincent reaches a rustic charming town covered head to town in seasonal flowers with many tourist attractions like the autumn fair that's set up every fall.

"Maybe I should bring Aurora when fall comes around…" Vincent thought admiring all the natural environments that surrounded the small and large buildings as he drove towards an isolated road leading up a hill with a big stone mansion standing tall at the top. Pulling into the driveway Vincent saw a fountain in the middle of the roundabout stone path driveway sprinkling blue driblets which seemed to sparkle. Vincent parked his car next to his parents' fancy and overly expensive vehicles. Vincent sat still in his car contemplating the reason why his father would have him come over on a workday. After a minute Vincent recollected his bearings and finally stepped out of his car gazing over the flashy pane of stained glass high above the main entrance as he walked towards the two wooden doors opening them wide like a dramatic action scene though all he saw was an old woman cleaning the lobby who Vincent thought was one of the maids.

"Hey excuse me, ma'am… Is Father home?" Vincent stepped towards the old maid waiting for a response.

"Oh, Master Vincent fancy meeting you here, as for your father he should be in his office upstairs. Need me to escort you there?" The old maid stood straight as she greeted Vincent.

"I should be fine thanking you though." Vincent grinned and walked towards the stairs so he can finally get this over with. Reaching the second floor Vincent headed towards a specific room he remembers fondly from his childhood. Standing in front of the door Vincent knocked gently waiting for permission to step inside.

"Come in." Vincent heard a deep groggy voice from the other side of the door permitting Vincent. Entering the room Vincent saw his father sitting properly behind his desk a deadly stare shooting at Vincent like judgemental daggers

"Hi, Father… Is there a reason you wanted to see me…?" Vincent said, standing awkwardly.

"Sit down son." Vincent's father demanded.

"Y-Yes, sir…" Vincent walked closer to the desk and took a seat on the chair sitting in front of his father. Vincent took the chance to glance around his surroundings. Directly behind his father was an elegant-looking photo of his father standing with an identical unnerving pose to the one his father is showing in person.

"Do you have any idea why I've called you here today son…?" Vincent's father said with a gruff tone.

"No, s-sir…" Vincent marveled over what his father could mean.

"I'll make it easier for both of us… It's about our company son. We need you to take over sooner or later." Vincent exhaled in relief, glad it wasn't about the argument he had with his mother, although still disappointed that his parents still were going through with their idea of him taking custody of the company.

"Father… I don't think I'm ready for that…" Vincent slumped his gaze focused on the wooden floor worried about any backlash.

"Vincent, don't be that way!" Vincent's father's voice shouted slamming a fist on his desk making Vincent's eyes shoot up towards his father. "You should know better than anyone else you want and need this." Vincent's father's voice was still stern and strict.

"Are you sure it's what I fucking want!?" Vincent stood to his feet staring down at his father, surprising himself and his father with his actions. Before Vincent could say an apology, his father shouted back.

"Now don't speak out of line boy! I didn't raise you so you could end up poor and alone like one of those Pokémon adventurers!" Vincent's father stood tall towering only slightly over Vincent in an attempt to assert superiority."

"But what if that's what I truly want? Live and learn about Pokémon? What if I don't want this damned stupid tiring job?" Vincent was shocked at how he was able to get a single sentence out of his mouth thinking his words would be stuck like a frog in his throat.

"Don't be absurd Vincent! I didn't give you that job for nothing!" Vincent grew overwhelmed as the argument dragged on wishing he could just run away. "It seems like your mother, and I have to put you on the right track again…" Vincent's brows narrowed in confusion.

"Huh…? What do you mean by that?" Vincent shifted his posture nervously.

"Well for starters since you're so curious. I've heard from your mother that you own a Pokémon." Vincent's eyes widened, frightened of what his father could be up too. "I'll give you less than a year to get rid of the pest if it's not gone till then I'll send it to wherever you found it and put you on a stricter schedule."

"You can't do that Father!" Vincent cried out with worry.

"I can and I will if you can't get your act together." Vincent's father stared Vincent down backing him into a corner.

"H-How would that even help? What if I move out of the country?" Vincent's father was left to ponder before speaking once again, almost frustrated.

"Ugh, fine, how about this? You take control of our company within our terms and the time is right I'll let you keep the creature until then. This is the only deal you're getting Vincent so act accordingly." Vincent wanted to reject the offer but knew he had no other choice.

"I guess… If you'll let me keep Aurora around…" Vincent said defeated looking grim.

"See that wasn't so hard Vince and how about this I'll let you take the next week off so we can forget this whole argument ever happened." Vincent was baffled by the strange mood change.

"Really? You'll do that for me?" Vincent couldn't help but have a slight grin.

"If it'll help you refresh your focus on what's more necessary then yes. Yes, I will." Although Vincent's father was hoping for a different effect from this break than what Vincent thought he could gain from it the young adult still accepted the one-week freedom he was granted.

"Thank you, Father, I'll respect your decisions with gratitude." Vincent slightly bowed toward his father in thanks.

"Good I know you will. Anyways shoo, I got work to do" Vincent's father waved his hand at Vincent shooing him away which Vincent willingly did so exiting his father's office immediately exhaling in relief. Afterward, Vincent walked away from the room heading towards the stairs saying goodbye to the calm manner maid before stepping outside and facing the same fountain he saw when he arrived walking towards his car and entering the front seat.

"Arceus that was stressful… I thought he was gonna kill me…" Vincent whispered to himself before feeling his phone rumble in his pocket. "Hmm?" Vincent slid his phone out of his pocket reading a notification of a text from Clare.

Clare: Heyy Vince we haven't talked in weeks how have you been?

Vincent: Same old same old really…
Clare: How about my little girl Aurora? How's she?
Vincent: She's been good as always plus she might have a surprise to show you the next time you visit town
Clare: How does now sound?
Vincent: Now? I'm not even home at the moment…

Clare: Oh? You're not? Well guess I'll just wait at your place cuddling with Aurora

Vincent: Do you even know where my house is?

Vincent waited for a good minute before getting a reply

Clare: No… Could you send me your address?

Vincent: Fine, here my address is…

Vincent typed in his address for Clare waiting once more for a reply

Clare: Alright I got it now; I'll see you then Vince!
Vincent: Yup same goes for you

Vincent then turned off his phone setting it down on the seat beside him before starting his car finally driving away from his parents' driveway and heading home.

It was alright sundown when Vincent returned home from a long drive back home as he entered his driveway spotting a car he hadn't seen before. Grabbing his phone Vincent then exited his car walking to the front door of his home slowly opening it and inspecting the lobby for any intruders. Without spotting anything out of the ordinary Vincent stepped his whole body into his house shutting the door behind him before right after hearing cries of joy and small running heading his way.

"Braaiii!" ("Massstterr!") Aurora's purple fur now in view jumped into Vincent hugging him tightly.

"H-Hi there Aurora sorry for the wait." Vincent brought his arms around Aurora hugging her alongside petting her back.

"Ohohoho~ look at you two. ~" Vincent heard a familiar voice enter the room turning his head to the source of the voice it was indeed who he thought it was, Clare.

"Hey there Clare," Vincent unwrapped his arms from Aurora to face Clare. "Did Aurora let you in? Vincent said wanting confirmation.

"Well of course you dummy how else would I get in? Tihi~" Clare chuckled, and Aurora too joined in with quiet chuckles.

"I was just making sure I locked the door before I left is all… Don't need somebody unwanted barging in my house and stealing who knows what…" Vincent blabbered while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah, I understand, don't want anybody stealing your precious Aurora huh? ~" Clare spoke in a teasing tone."

"Especially Aurora." Vincent replied though Clare seemed defeated with Vincent's calm reaction.

"Uh-huh well, anyways I just thought I should see how you guys have been doing these past weeks." Vincent upon listening to Clare's sentence eagerly wanted to show the work he and Aurora have been teaching her.

"We've been good thank you though Aurora has something she wants to show you." Vincent said with Aurora smiling towards Clare nodding.

"Ooooo surprises! Can't wait.~" Clare stood waiting for whatever Vincent and Aurora had planned.

"I just gotta get a piece of paper. I'll be right back so make yourself comfortable in the meantime." Vincent then swiftly made his way upstairs speed walking to his office for a spare clean piece of paper.

Stepping inside the office Vincent crouched by his desk searching through the drawers for the piece of paper Vincent sought. Vincent then found a simple blank piece of paper closing the drawer he then stood up grabbing a pen from the cup of pens that was sitting atop the desk. Finally, Vincent exited the room with the required materials heading downstairs only to realize that Aurora and Clare weren't in the lobby though it didn't take him long to hear Clare's faint chuckling in the lounge room.

"What are you laughing about?" Vincent questioned as he walked into the lounge room taking a seat in a caramel brown chair near the sofa where Clare and Aurora sat.

"Nothing, tihi~" Vincent raised his eyebrow in suspicion of Clare's words. "Right Aurora?" Clare elbowed Aurora who was blushing madly from whatever teasing Clare had done.

"B-Brai, Braixen…" ("N-Nothing at all, Master…") Aurora, still red, smiled slightly reassuring Vincent though his suspicions never faded.

"Yea-huh… If you say so…" Vincent said, his voice low as he placed the signaller piece of paper on the coffee table in front of them. "Anyways… Aurora wanted to show you what she has been doing during her stay with me."

"Is that what the paper is for? Did you teach her how to write!?" Clare wrapped her arms around Aurora giving her a tight bear hug.

"B-Brai!" (C-Clare!") Aurora desperately tried wiggling out of Clare's grip of steel.

"I guess you'll have to see for yourself then heh-heh." Vincent snarked chuckling at the scene in front of him.

"You're no fun…" Clare unlaced her arms from Aurora pouting as she leaned back into the leather couch.

"I've heard that more than I can count," Vincent teased then focused his attention on the silent vixen

leaning forward toward her ear and whispering into it making Aurora shudder "just write a small simple sentence nothing too extreme alright?" Vincent then leaned back into the chair watching Aurora take the writing utensil in her paw.

Aurora stared at the paper and then gave a large yawn as she rubbed her eyes. "Umm…" She mumbled, looking at the paper again before starting to write: 'My name is Aurora.'

Vincent watched as Aurora wrote her name on the paper, and he couldn't help but grin widely seeing the sight.

"So, you did teach her how to write!" Clare blurted out startling Aurora into looking up at her. "See!? You're a natural! But definitely, she needs some more practice!" Clare said admiring the piece of paper and Aurora's handwriting

"Well of course she's still learning after all," Vincent said, smiling at Aurora who was nodding happily. "I also encountered something very particular with Aurora..." Vincent said, making Clare curious.

"Oh yeah, what would that be?" Clare asked with a hand on her hip smiling at Aurora.

"Well... I've been hearing her... Speak to me? Vincent explained.

"Speak to you?" Clare repeated confused.

"Yeah like... she's been talking to me through my head. It started about a week ago actually." Vincent said, tilting his head towards Aurora.

"Really!? So can she speak to me then!?" Clare exclaimed in excitement.

"Uhm, I don't know... Give it a try Aurora" Vincent said with interested eyes

"B-Brai..." ("O-Ok...") Aurora then closed her eyes as she turned her body facing Clare focusing deeply. They waited and waited but Clare's expression never changed.

"Strange… I don't hear or feel anything..." Clare announced.

"Weird..." Vincent simply said as he stared at the saddened Aurora.

"I'm sorry Aurora, I just don't hear anything." Clare apologized.

"That's okay Clare," Vincent said. "This is a new ability of hers so she's slowly getting the hang of it."

"Anywayyss..." Clare began to speak "it's getting pretty late... Is it alright if I stay the night?"

"Sure, it's fine," Vincent nodded. "Don't want you driving in the dark."

"Alright, then I'll be sleeping in Aurora's room since I doubt, you'd want me snoring in yours." Clare giggled as she got up from the couch and headed to Aurora's room.

"You know where you're going?" Vincent questioned as he stood up.

"Yeah, Aurora showed me around when I arrived." Clare said as walked towards the stairs taking the steps up slowly leaving Vincent's sight.

Vincent looked over at Aurora who was staring down at her paws as if deep in thought.

"So that was strange huh," Vincent said, breaking the awkward silence. "She couldn't hear you."

("Y-Yeah...") Aurora slowly brought her face up gazing into Vincent's eyes. ("Though it could depend on how close you are to a person...") Aurora blushed at her own statement ("I read that in one of my books! S-So I wouldn't know for sure!") Aurora abruptly said, shaking her paws in front of Vincent.

"You're cute you know that?" Vincent complimented Aurora with a smile without even realizing what he said.

"B-Brai!?" (W-What!?) Aurora blushed even harder.

"I mean it." Vincent continued his teasing.

("T-Thank you, Master...") Aurora blushed and bowed her head shyly.

"Also... Did you show Clare around the house? I'm proud of you Aurora." Vincent said smiling trying to sound serious though he felt his heart racing with nervousness. He then noticed Aurora's cheeks growing redder and redder until they almost matched the color of her ear fur.

("It was n-no problem, Master...") Aurora's voice quietly muttered, hiding her muzzle in between her paws.

"Come on... Let's go to bed." Vincent suggested as he stretched out his joints.

("Ah, yes...") Aurora quickly responded jumping off from the couch and following Vincent upstairs parting ways when each met with the doors of their separate rooms

"Goodnight Aurora..." Vincent lowered his posture hugging Aurora.

("N-Night Master... S-Sweet dreams.") Aurora hurriedly said in a rush kissing his cheek before entering her room closing the door behind herself leaving Vincent standing alone in shock blushing mad at the sudden kiss.

Vincent's thoughts raced as he entered his room as he laid down in his bed unable to sleep. "What was that kiss for!? Was it just an accident...? Or did she want to do that!? I-I mean it was just a kiss on the cheek nothing more… Right?" Vincent's thoughts continued to panic throughout the night forcing him to sleep, staying awake for hours not being able to fall asleep due to the short event.

Several hours later Vincent heard his door creak open startling him enough to shock his body up facing the culprit shortly after adjusting to the dark he realized a purple vixen figure entering the room

"A-Aurora...?" Vincent slowly quietly spoke not wanting to wake up Clare in the other room

("I'm sorry for disturbing you, Master... I just wanted to see if it's alright if I sleep with you tonight...") Aurora slowly stepped toward Vincent's bed as she fiddled with her ear tufts waiting for an answer.

"Of c-course Aurora, I did say you can sleep here whenever you like..." Vincent said as he opened his arms, opening them and inviting Aurora in.

("Th-Thank you, Master...") Aurora took a step closer and cautiously climbed into Vincent's bed, laying beside him and wrapping her arms around his chest.

"Mmmm~" Aurora softly moaned and snuggled against Vincent letting her tail rest on top of Vincent's legs ("Master...")

"Aurora...? Vincent said in a questioned curious tone

"(I-I'm s-sleepy...)" Aurora mumbled burying her face into Vincent's chest and hugging him tightly.

"If you're tired go ahead and sleep, sweety..." Vincent whispered, assuring Aurora.

("B-But...") Aurora slightly whined holding on tighter to Vincent.

"What if I hold you while you sleep? I won't let go." Vincent coaxed as he slowly petted Aurora's ears soothingly.

("I'll l-like that M-Master...") Aurora quietly mumbled her breathing becoming deeper and heavier.

Vincent's heart melted at the sight of the adorable fox in his arms with her eyes closed and her muzzle buried into his chest. As he held Aurora in his arms, he kissed her forehead lightly before gently putting the covers over Aurora's lithe form

"Sweet dreams Aurora..." Vincent whispered in her ear before closing his eyes and falling asleep within minutes dreaming about the one who is dear to him.
