(Author's Note: Look. I'm relatively new to all of this, so I need readers to know a few things. One, I am writing this for my enjoyment. I probably won't be able to fix anything, because I am busy with other things. 2, don't expect frequent updates. I might even just forget about this.)
Percy POV:
Percy winced as the whip bit into his skin. After a bit of thinking, he guessed it was Kronos here today. His guess was confirmed when Kronos laughed. His voice sounded like a knife scraped on stone.
But to Percy's surprise, he exited the room. That wasn't right. Percy's torturers never exited the room so early. He had a bad feeling about this.
Then, she entered the room. Annabeth Chase. Percy's worst torturer. Whenever she came, he knew he would feel the true definition of pain.
She said "Percy, Percy. My master Kronos said the Olympian Gods are coming to get you. I just wanted to give you a little parting gift."
Then, much to Percy's surprise, she unlocked the chains restraining his limbs. Percy, before, would have tried to run, but he basically lost hope.
She dragged him to a rough stone table. She chained him up again on top of the table, face up. Then, she grinned and revealed something. It was a necklace of thorns.
Before Percy can react, she started putting the necklace on him. Percy screamed, but that got silenced. He tried to say something, but no sound came out. Only his ragged, pained breathing.
He sobbed silently as he mourned the loss of his voice. He was well aware of Annabeth stabbing him and carving words into him.
