Well, the four side stories are up for you guys to read. If you did not read those stories, the side stories will not have anything to do with this chapter. There might be mentions of Getting A Hero Name, but those small parts will not have anything to do with the story arc we are about to get in to.

Odd Della Robbia flies through the skies on his Overboard chasing after the noise of the police sirens. He flies over the street and turns left just in time to see the police cars chasing a giant van with the money being held in the back. "Why do thieves always steal money instead of something more useful? Money can only get them so much. After all I didn't get where I am because of money." He tells himself with a smile.
"Focus Odd." Ulrich says through the com link in Odd's ear.
"I'm just saying Ulrich." Odd flies up over the buildings and zooms over the buildings just in time to see the back doors of the van open up revealing two men with guns in their hands. He flies down at the van saying, "I got them in my sites."
"Good, I'm coming up on the van now!" Ulrich says as he drives the Overbike through the police cars. He pulls one of his katanas out with his left hand and drives straight at the van with a serious expression.
"It's the Yellow Ronin!" One of the thieves yells in surprise.
"Then shoot him stupid!" The thief's partner says pointing his gun at Ulrich. The three men start firing their guns at Ulrich and watch in disbelief as Ulrich jumps off the Overbike getting it to run straight at the vehicle. "Stop that bike!"
Ulrich lands on top of a police car and hears his Overbike crash into the van getting the van to lose control. He looks up at the van and says, "It's all yours Feline."
"Yahoo!" Odd yells as he flies out on the street a few yards in front of the van. He fires an ice laser arrow at the truck hitting the front of the van freezing it upon impact. He smirks and flies up at the van as it starts skidding to a stop. "Don't call me Feline, Ronin. I liked Purple Feline because it sounded cool, but now it sounds lame."
The driver jumps out of the front seat and points his gun up at Odd only to get wrapped up in a laser net. Odd punches the guy in the face knocking the man out and turns to Ulrich who arrives on the scene on top of a police car. "What do you want to be called then?"
"Let's get out of here!" One of the men yells in fright.
Odd grabs the laser net and tosses the tied man past the van right in front of the three men trying to escape getting them to skid to a stop in surprise. Odd comes out from the side of the van on his Overboard and asks, "What exactly were you guys doing?"
"I think they were going to surrender." Ulrich says as he walks up behind the men with both of his katanas drawn.
The three men gulp in fear when they notice that they were surrounded and realize they couldn't do anything but surrender. They raise their hands up in surrender, and Odd and Ulrich back off allowing the cops to arrest the thieves. Odd glides his Overboard up next to Ulrich and asks, "Want to race back home?"
"I would, but Angelic Code wants to meet with us at the 'secret' place." Ulrich reminds his best friend.
Odd sighs and starts flying the Overwing to their destination with Ulrich following him on foot with his 'super sprint.' "Do you think she might be able to restore Jeremy back completely?"
"I don't know, but Aelita might be able to pull it off. If her powers are anything to look at, we might be able to have Jeremy back with us completely alive again." Ulrich suggests as he runs down street after street towards their destination.
"Let's hope she found a way to do it." Odd mutters a little upset with Jeremy's decision to put his mind in the virtual world.
"They're late." Yumi says as she sits down on the floor with a bored expression on her face. "They said they would be here."
"They probably got hung up taking down some robbers on the way." William suggests trying to ease Yumi's mood.
Yumi sighs knowing William was trying to make her feel better, but she starts feeling worse at that statement instead of what William was hoping. "That's not the point William." She mutters sadly.
William runs his left hand through his hair then turns to Aelita who glances over at William then at Yumi. She shakes her head at him and gets up from the seat in front of the supercomputer. He watches Aelita as she walks pass him whispering, "You go talk with Danny. I'll take care of things from here."
William nods his head and mutters, "Thanks." He hates seeing Yumi down like this and knows that it has something to do with Ulrich. 'When is that guy going to ask her out?' He wonders in his mind as he walks away from the two girls and over to Danny who was overlooking the map of Lyoko.
Danny hears footsteps and turns his head to see William walk over to him and asks, "What's up?"
William shrugs his shoulders and looks down at the holographic map wondering what Danny was up to. "Yumi is worrying about Ulrich being a hero." William answers pointing back at Yumi. "Aelita is talking to her about it since well…I'm not good at that kind of thing."
"You're preaching to the choir." The two chuckle at that. "Anyway, let's leave them alone to that, but Yumi's worry is starting to make me wonder why she's acting like this."
The two stare at each other then mutter, "Jeremy…"
Danny shakes his head and sighs in defeat, and William puts his hand down on the ring of the holographic map of Lyoko. "She doesn't want something like this to happen to her as it has with Aelita." William mutters balling his hands up in anger. "That has to be the reason."
"We can't be sure about that until she actually tells us though." Danny points out but barely believes it himself.
William shakes his head. "I would believe that if she wasn't so infatuated with Ulrich the past couple of years." Danny raises an eyebrow getting William to smile nervously. "Ok, she has been crushing on him since they met in middle school. I didn't know it then, but we're teenagers. What would we know at this age?"
"True, but we wouldn't know until she actually tells us. So we forget about this conversation and go on like nothing is going on. Sounds good to you?"
William lowers his eyes and mutters, "Yeah…"
Danny rubs the back of his neck knowing that William wasn't really agreeing with him but decides to let it slide. He puts his hands down on the ring of the holo-map of Lyoko. "Aelita is having me put in the locations of Jeremy's mind. Unfortunately, his mind has been separated in five parts on Lyoko."
"Wait, I thought his mind was supposed to be somewhere on the Cortex?" William asks curious on Danny's statement.
"That's what I thought too, but it seems Jeremy put out a safety feature just in case he was captured again by Tyrone." Aelita says as she and Yumi walk up to the holo-map.
"What's the plan then?" Everyone turns around to see Odd and Ulrich walk up to them with smiles on their faces.
"You take out some thieves again?" William asks as he crosses his arms over his chest and leans against the ring of the holo-map.
"Off the holo-map William." Aelita tells him with a small edge in her voice.
William puts his hands up in front of him and gets up off the machine. "Sorry, it was a part of the moment." He apologizes hoping that he doesn't invoke her wrath.
Odd shrugs, "Eh, it was too easy." He puts his hands behind his head and asks, "Anyway, you said Jeremy's mind is on Lyoko?"
Aelita nods her head, "Yep, it took me a while to figure it out, but Jeremy split his mind up just in case Tyron captured him. Unfortunately, Jeremy's mind would have been drained for the information Tyron needed if we haven't interfered."
"Meaning Jeremy's plan would have failed without us." Ulrich comments not liking the idea of what could have happened to his friend.
"He shouldn't have done this in the first place." Yumi mutters sadly. "Whatever happened to us having normal lives like other teens?"
"Oh boy…" Ulrich mutters knowing where Yumi was going with this. "Things changed Yumi, and…"
"That's just it." Yumi interrupts catching everyone's attention. "Hydra attacks, Aelita destroys Lyoko, Aelita leaves with Danny, my family has me move back to Japan, Aelita rebuilds Lyoko, Jeremy was kidnapped, Jeremy was freed but died, now Jeremy's mind is scattered across Lyoko, and we're the only ones who can put him back together. Once this thing is over I have to head home to Japan and act like none of this ever happened without you guys, and none of you guys seem to think about that!"
Ulrich balls his hands up and asks, "Do you really think we don't care?"
Yumi looks at Ulrich and sighs, "That's not what I meant Ulrich, and you know it."
Ulrich turns his head at her and narrows his eyebrows. "Then tell me. We sacrificed our lives for so long that we can't just up and leave anyone behind."
"I didn't mention that at all Ulrich!"
Ulrich growls, "Then why are you so worried about it?"
"I don't want to lose you again!" Everyone's eyes widen at the sudden declaration that came from Yumi's mouth.
"Again?" Ulrich mutters in surprise.
"When I leave mom and dad will forbid me from seeing you guys again. Dad has always been protective of me, and our situation makes it no different." Yumi admits as she pours her heart out.
"She must have been keeping that in for quite some time." Danny whispers to Aelita who nods her head then elbows Danny in the stomach for making the comment.
"I'm just going to leave you love birds…" William grabs Odd's shoulder before Odd could leave the conversation.
"Listen you guys, you can talk about it later, but right now we need to focus on getting Jeremy's mind back together." William tells the two love birds. He was happy and shocked that Yumi made her outburst, but he knew that this was not the time to be distracted.
Ulrich and Yumi look away from each other while Aelita moves the holo-map to display all of Lyoko. "Ok, Jeremy's mind broke up into five parts in all the sectors on Lyoko meaning that we have five targets." Aelita starts to explain. "I have created a small device with our Lyoko avatars that will allow us to grab those parts of Jeremy's mind."
"Once you guys retrieve those parts of Jeremy's mind, you will meet up in Sector 5 at the tower for Aelita to reconnect the 6 parts of Jeremy's mind." Danny continues explaining for Aelita as he sits down on the chair in front of the supercomputer.
"Where's the part of Jeremy we have?" Odd asks curiously.
"I'm in Lyoko Odd." Jeremy says from the supercomputer as he makes his face appear on the screen. "It just happens that I am Sector 5 as well."
"Man, are you ready to get mind back together finally?" William asks as the group surrounds Danny at the supercomputer.
"In all honesty, I don't know what to feel except sad, but I should be grateful when my mind is back in one piece." Jeremy assures his friends.
"Let's not waste any time then." Ulrich tells the team.
"Right." The five Lyoko Warriors walk over to the scanner as Danny starts typing in the locations on the map.
"Ok, we'll have to go individually to be able to retrieve all of those pieces of Jeremy's mind. I'll take Sector 5." Aelita tells them as they stop right next to the scanner.
"I'll take the desert sector." William says.
"I call the forest sector." Odd says raising his hand up in the air.
"I'll take the ice sector." Ulrich claims glancing at Yumi before looking back at Aelita.
"Guess that means I'm taking the mountain sector." Yumi says shrugging her shoulders.
"Good," Aelita turns her head in Danny's direction and asks, "Has Tony installed the multi-transport yet?"
Danny continues typing in the coordinates on the supercomputer and says, "It looks like we're clear, and things might be up and running for it to work, but I do say that we should have tested it before today."
"I agree, but we don't have time for that." Aelita admits a sigh escaping her lips at the situation her boyfriend has gotten himself into. She turns to her friends and gives them a serious look, and they smile back at her. "Let's go you guys."
The five step into the scanner and look over at Danny who nods his head at them. He finishes typing in the coordinates and brings the five avatars up on the screen. "Transfer Lyoko Warriors…Scanning Lyoko Warriors…Virtualization!" Danny says as the scanner scans the team then sends them into the virtual world.
"When did they start referring themselves as the Lyoko Warrior?" Jeremy asks Danny curiously.
"I thought they did it while you were still with them." Danny says raising an eyebrow at Jeremy.
Jeremy blinks a couple times then rubs the back of neck nervously, "Oh yeah, I forgot."
Danny narrows his eyebrows a bit. "Jeremy, is there something that you're not telling us?"
Jeremy smiles nervously and cuts the connection to the supercomputer before he said anything. Jeremy sits down and lowers his head in defeat. "The cortex needs to be destroyed before my mind is gone completely." He mutters sadly. "My memories might be scattered with my mind, but I can tell when my mind is falling apart. Without a proper host body my mind can't stay functional. Oh, why did I make the decision to separate my mind and body? Aelita is going to kill me when she finds out." He punches the ground regretting his decision but knows he can't change the past. "Once my mind is put back together I need to activate Code: Xana."
Odd lands in the forest sector and looks around carefully. "Ah, it feels good to be back here again." He says as he looks at the scenery. "Hey Danny, how far away is the part of Jeremy's mind?"
"It's near the tower that is straight in front of you. You should see a small orb floating around, but I would caution that you should make sure that it doesn't float away. Jeremy's mind can actually move around Lyoko." Danny tells him.
Odd chuckles, "Oh good, I actually thought this was going to be too easy."
"Where would Jeremy's mind be for the rest of us Danny?" Ulrich asks as he looks around the ice sector.
"Jeremy's mind would be in the way tower for you Ulrich. You should know where that tower is."
Ulrich smirks and activates his Overbike. "You're right. I do happen to know where it is." He gets on his Overbike and drives off to the way tower.
"William, Jeremy's mind is in the center of your sector. You know the way?"
William nods his head. "Yeah, I might have been a Lyoko Warrior the least, but I know the way I need to go." He turns right and mutters, "Super smoke!" He turns into his smoke form and starts going to his objective.
"Yumi, Jeremy's mind is near the way tower in your sector."
Yumi nods her head and virtualizes her Overwing next to her. "Thanks for letting me know." She says.
"I wish you luck guys." Danny tells them.
Danny hears the door shut and turns his head to see his cousin Jan walk up to him with a drink in each hand. "I thought you could use a drink." She tells him.
"Hank canceled again, huh?" Danny asks as he takes the glass from her left hand.
Jan sighs, "Yeah, he did." She looks over at the holo-map then at the screen where the five avatar characters were shown along with Danny's Lyoko avatar. "They're in the virtual world, huh?"
"Yep, and Jeremy's mind has been scattered throughout Lyoko. They're there to retrieve the pieces to put Jeremy's mind back together." Danny tells Jan as he starts typing on the keyboard getting five different points of view from the Lyoko Warriors. "Jeremy's plan was to scatter his mind throughout the Cortex and Lyoko to stop Tyron from stealing the information."
"You told the whole story about how you guys made it just in time for Jeremy's mind to leave his body, and if Aelita didn't interfere, Jeremy's plan would have failed from the start." Jan summarizes as she grabs another chair and sits down in it a couple feet behind Danny.
Danny groans and moves the microphone up from his headset. He rubs his forehead with his index finger and thumb on his right hand and asks, "Has Hank ever done something smart but turned out to be stupid?"
"Is that a trick question?" Jan retorts back at him.
Danny hears the supercomputer's alarm go off and turns his attention to see two red markings heading to four of the five Lyoko Warriors. He brings up the pictures of the markings to see the krabs coming at the Lyoko Warriors not in Sector 5. "Guys, we got those krabs coming after each of you guys. Aelita, you got two creepers coming your way."
"I thought Xana's monsters were gone for good." Odd says.
"I wouldn't put it past Tyron to get his hands on those monsters." Aelita tells them. "We need to stay on top of things you guys. Don't let Tyron get his hands on any parts of Jeremy's mind."
"Seems a little too easy if you ask me." Ulrich tells them.
"Tyron must want those parts of Jeremy's mind if he's sending those monsters." Danny says as he starts typing in the search engine to find anything odd going on.
"You don't think Xana is back, right?" Yumi asks feeling a little uneasy with that thought.
"I made sure to check everything if Xana left any trace of his codes inside us or Lyoko." Aelita assures them. "I didn't find anything, but if Tyron has gotten his hands on these codes, we need to delete those codes at the Cortex."
"You guys worry about the monsters and getting Jeremy back together. I'll see if I figure out where the monsters came from." Danny assures them.
"Danny, you don't even know how to use the supercomputer properly." Aelita counters which got a hearty laugh from Odd and a chuckle from the others.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Danny mutters as he glances back at his cousin who was watching him with a curious gaze. 'Glad she can't here this conversation.'
"Sorry, but you barely know how to do anything without that special guide I made for you."
"Danny has a guide book on how to use the supercomputer?" Odd asks surprised Aelita would do something like that. "Why didn't you guys do that for us?"
"That's a good question." Ulrich admits.
"We'll argue about this later. Right now we got monsters to destroy and Jeremy's mind to reconnect." Aelita tells them.
Jan and Danny hear an explosion catching both of them off guard. "Jarvis, what was that?" Jan asks as she stands up from her seat.
"It seems we're being invaded by Hydra. Tony Stark has already been warned about this along with Shield." Jarvis tells the two. "I have already activated the defenses which should hold them long enough until help would arrive."
Danny grits his teeth frustrated with the situation they just got put in. He turns his head back to the supercomputer. "Guys, your time has just shortened." He tells them as he starts typing urgently.
"Danny, what's going on?" Aelita asks.
"We're being attacked by Hydra, and I have a good feeling that they know the supercomputer is here."
Aelita grits her teeth angrily and says, "Everyone get your part of Jeremy's mind and get here as soon as you can. This was the only time Jeremy's mind would be available for us to get it."
"What?!"
"I know, but I don't have time to explain. Once we finish this, I will explain everything. You can trust me on that." She tells them as she slides behind a wall just in time to avoid the lasers being fired at her from the two creepers.
"You have a lot of explaining to do Aelita." Yumi says.
"I know Yumi." Aelita makes two energy fields and jumps up on the wall to see the two creepers looking at her. "Sorry, but I'm going to have to cancel your order." She jokes firing an energy field at each creeper with a smirk on her face. She jumps to the normal ground and runs off to her destination while the creepers blow up the moment her energy fields hit them.
Yumi flies her Overwing over the mountains and barely avoids the two krabs firing at her. She keeps the Overwing heading to her destination and pulls both of her fans out. She turns around quickly and throws both of her fans at the 2 krabs as they kept firing at her. Yumi turns back to the front of her Overwing and flies up as her fans slice through the eye on top of the krabs. She puts her hands out, catches her fans, folds them up, puts them in her belt, and continues driving to her destination.
William runs down the dessert in his super smoke form and solidifies himself behind a rock a few yards away from two krabs. He glances from behind his rock to see the two krabs guarding a small orb and immediately knows what they were guarding. "Ok, this just made things super easy for me." He goes back into his super smoke form and heads straight towards the krabs.
The two krabs turn their attention to the smoke and charge up their lasers to fire at William. William moves to the right then to the left avoiding the two shots fired at him and keeps on dodging the two krabs. He jumps up and solidifies himself above one of the krabs with his sword in both of his hands. He slices the eye on the first krab and lands behind the krab as it explodes into data. He deflects the laser shot at him from the other krab and smirks as he deflects another shot. He jumps onto the top of the other krab and stabs the eye on the second krab.
William jumps off the krab and walks up to the small orb as the krab explodes into data. "Hey Danny, what did Aelita give us to put Jeremy's mind in?" He asks Danny.
"According to Aelita, you should only have to grab it and put it on your side. Your suit should do the rest." Danny tells him.
"Ok…" William grabs the orb with his right hand and sticks it on his right hip to see his belt produce a small round container with the orb put inside of it. "Huh, that's neat."
"Get to the end of your sector, and I'll transport you to Sector 5."
"You got it." William transforms into his super smoke form and heads to his destination.
Ulrich drives his Overbike across the ice and keeps his attention on the tower coming into view. He sees the two krabs guarding the way tower and mutters, "Hm, I see that they already know where Jeremy is." He pulls out one of his katanas and picks up more speed for the Overbike.
The two krabs turn their heads to the noise from the Overbike and see Ulrich heading straight towards them. The krabs start firing their lasers at Ulrich who dodges every shot being fired at him. The krabs keep their attention on Ulrich unaware of the plan forming in Ulrich's head. The krabs ignore the fact that Ulrich is smirking and were too late to realize what was going to happen in the next couple of seconds.
Ulrich jumps off the Overbike having it crash straight into the first krab as he lands on top of the second krab. He stabs his katana into the eye on top of the krab and jumps off the krab before it explodes along with the other krab that his Overbike crashed into. He puts his katana back in the sheath and chuckles, "Like I said before, that was too easy." He walks into the way tower and smiles when he sees the small orb floating over the center circle. He grabs the orb and says, "I found my part of Jeremy's mind. I'll get to the rendezvous point and meet with the others in Sector 5."
"You might have to hurry Ulrich. Hydra has just finished destroying a fifth of Tony's defenses." Danny tells him.
"I'm on it." Ulrich puts the orb on his hip and sees a small container form around the orb. He nods his head and leaves the way tower then super sprints to the end of the sector.
"It seems Tony Stark was expecting something like this to happen." A figure says as he watches the Hydra agents being taken out by the defenses. "At this rate Stark and Shield will be here trying to stop us from getting the new supercomputer to the virtual world."
"Are we even certain that Tyron's search is correct?" A woman asks her partner.
"Tony Stark was there last time we tried to get the girl. His defenses are usually good, but these defenses are too high even for him. The virtual world is here in this building." The man assures the woman.
The woman grins evilly, "Let's go get our prize then."
Odd rides his Overboard through the sector glancing back behind him to see the two krabs following him through the sector but unable to catch up with him. "Glad Xana never upgraded their speed." Odd admits. He glances down at his left side to see the small orb hanging in a small container. "I'm almost there at the end of the sector."
"The others should almost be there Odd. Get ready to be instantly transported since you never destroyed the krabs in you sector."
"Hey, I have to keep things interesting for me." Odd admits with a small shrug. He flies through the trees and smirks when he sees the wall indicating the end of the sector. "I'm here!"
"I'm here as well." William says as he walks up to his rendezvous point.
"I'm here." Ulrich says as he skids to a stop on the ice.
Yumi stops her Overwing at the end of the mountain sector and says, "I made it as well."
Danny nods his head and starts typing the command code into the supercomputer. "Your rides should be arriving and taking you to Sector 5, and Odd, your special guests are coming to your position."
Odd turns around and chuckles as the two krabs were walking over to him. He keeps his eyes on them and hears his ride coming down to pick him up. He waves 'goodbye' to the two krabs and says, "See you later krabs." The orb surrounds him and leaves the sector leaving the two monsters alone in the forest sector as they watch the orb leave with Odd inside.
Aelita runs down the maze and stops right at the moving elevator. The moving platform stops at her position allowing her walk on it. The platform starts up again and takes Aelita up to the open area to the mainframe for Lyoko. She runs out the opening and sees the orb floating in front of the mainframe of Lyoko. She stops in front of the orb and grabs the orb whispering, "You'll be fixed soon Jeremy. You can trust me on that." She attaches the orb to her side allowing the codes to create the container to hold the orb.
"Those defenses won't hold up much longer if the reinforcements don't make it in time." Jan tells her cousin as he watches the Lyoko Warriors. Danny brings up the security cameras from inside the room Hydra was fighting Stark's home defenses and from outside the building to see the power Hydra brought to attack them. "Is there anything that you can do on that computer?"
"I wish I studied electronics while growing up." Danny mutters hating the fact that his best friend from grade school was the one that was an electronic expert. "I should have listened to Tucker when he said he would give me advice on electronics."
"Guess that means we're on our own until we actually get some backup." Jan turns her head to a speaker and asks, "Jarvis, is there any secret defense systems that Tony has installed into the building?"
"Of course he did Miss Dyke, but he's the only one who knows the secret password that activates the higher defenses." Jarvis tells them.
Danny pulls his phone out when a small explosion went off from above. "We don't have much time then." Danny mutters as he looks up at the ceiling with a serious expression on his face. He opens his phone and sends a text message to a couple people.
"Who are you texting? We're in a middle of a soon to be crisis." Jan reminds her cousin.
"I'm just sending a specific help request." Danny tells her as he changes his screen to his list of contacts. He stops at the name Marinette then puts his onto a black screen. 'I'll ask for her help later.' He puts his phone in his pocket and transforms into his alter-ego. "We need to delay them from getting here."
"You go ahead and do what you can. I'll monitor things down here." Jan tells him as she takes the com link from Danny.
"Do you even know how to…"
"I know how to work computers way more than you do." Jan interrupts Danny. She sits down on the chair while Danny just stares at her in surprise. "You forget that Hank uses electronics for his experiments."
"Tony gave him the schematics, and you got bored." Danny summarizes getting her to groan in embarrassment.
"You really need to stop ruining my fun." Jan mutters bitterly.
Danny shrugs his shoulders and flies up to the ceiling. "Just don't screw anything up Jan. I still have a hard time doing that myself."
"Good thing I'm not you then." Jan says jokingly getting Danny o groan. She hears him turn intangible and fly through the ceiling then turns her attention to the big monitor of the supercomputer. She brings the point of view up of the five Lyoko Warriors and nods her head as she sees the four about to meet up with Aelita. "Tony, you better be getting here soon."
"Ah, nothing feels better than flying through the air in a suit of armor." Tony admits with a happy sigh. "Good thing I turned off my communication with Jarvis. He probably would be bothering me about some technical stuff." He hears his phone ring which immediately goes right into his armor for him to see who it is. He sees the caller I.D. says 'Pepper' and sighs, "I forgot to block Pepper, but it is hard for any girl to resist me. I wonder why she's calling me." He answers his and asks, "Hey Pepper, how's it going?"
"It would be better if Jarvis didn't send me a call about one of your buildings being under attack by Hydra." Pepper replies back calmly.
Tony's good mood became serious in a second. "Pepper, which building is Jarvis talking about?" Tony asks cautiously.
"He said something about it being a secret…"
"Oh no…"
"Tony, what's wrong?" Pepper asks feeling uneasy when he said those two words.
"I know what they're after or who they're after."
"I don't…"
"I'll have to call you back Pepper." Tony hangs up immediately and activates his channel to Jarvis. "Jarvis, activate the special defenses over all paths to the lab with Aelita's supercomputer!"
"I'll get right on it sir." Jarvis replies.
"Good, sorry I had to cut you off, but I wanted time to myself. Good thing I didn't turn my phone off."
"I'm guessing Miss Potts called and told you then."
"Maybe not everything, but I know enough to get an idea at what is going on." Tony assures his A.I. "Anyway, are Aelita and the others on Lyoko?"
"Yes sir, Aelita's team is in the virtual world as we speak, and Miss Van Dyke and Mr. Fenton are in the room as well."
"Good, that means I have time to get there and stop Hydra before they could finish off my defenses."
"Did you remember to remove the new ghost barrier from the room's defenses?"
"Why would I need to do…Danny is outside the room, isn't he?"
"Yes sir."
"Oh crud, Danny's going to kill me."
"I am going to kill Stark for his timing." Danny mutters as he hides behind a wall where Hydra agents were shooting at him. 'I got their attention, but I can't distract them as much as I need to with Stark's defenses attacking me as well. He had to build defenses that can track my ghost powers.' He makes a wall of ice in the door way and makes four small balls of ecto-energy. He sets the four balls down and phases through the floor into Stark's garage. He looks around seeing cars and a couple suits of armor. "Tony has way too much free time."
"I can't believe you tried to steal my motorcycle!" Hawkeye yells back at the teen as he drove them down the street.
"Give me a break man." Maurice replies back with a hockey mask over his face and a black hood over his head. "Phantom sent an emergency text about Stark's building being attacked!"
"Stark gets attacked all the time though!" Hawkeye remarks bitterly.
"Yeah, but this place has Angelic Code's supercomputer to some… very specific secrets." Maurice finishes lamely while scratching the back of his neck.
"Good thing I know what that secret is, or you would be explaining something that shouldn't be explained." Hawkeye tells Maurice calmly. "At least you want to help. I will give you that, but you better follow my lead. I know about your affiliation with the Teens Next Door, but you guys still have a lot to learn about the real world."
"I can work with that." Maurice pulls a couple modified pistols out of their holsters before sticking them back in. "What are we going to do anyway?"
"Stark will have defenses set up to slow down whoever is attacking which you have yet to mention."
Maurice shrugs his shoulders, "Phantom never mentioned who. I guess the threat is pretty big that he didn't have time to give a detailed text."
Hawkeye hums in thought. 'Who would be too much for Phantom and Stark to handle on their own to protect the supercomputer to the digital world?' Hawkeye wonders as evil corporations started to appear in his head. "It's Hydra."
"Who?"
"Hydra is an old military team that was led by an evil dictator known as the Red Skull back in World War II." Hawkeye starts explaining.
"Wait, he was an old enemy of Captain America. How does this military group still exist if the war is over?" Maurice asks feeling curious and confused on how that is possible.
"Honestly, I would call them sore losers after Cap. stopped Baron Zemo's biggest plan by destroying the rocket over the North Atlantic. Captain America and his partner did not survive the explosion." Hawkeye admits keeping his calm about the sad story of the country's hero.
"Wow, I don't know if I could make that kind of sacrifice." Maurice mutters surprised about the sacrifice Captain America gave for his country.
"Once this is over, we're going to need to get you some actual clothes instead of a stupid hockey mask and hood."
"You're hearing no complaints from me."
Hawkeye and Maurice see a mass of vehicles up ahead and notice the symbol on the vehicles. "Hang on!" Hawkeye yells at the teen. He revs up the motorcycle and pushes the gas giving them more speed.
"We got company." A Hydra agent says getting the two leaders to look behind them. "It's Shield!"
"It's Hawkeye." The male leader says angrily as he sees the motorcycle getting closer to their position.
"You take care of him Grim Reaper. We can't afford to have distractions." The woman tells him.
"It will be a pleasure." Reaper runs out on top of a vehicle and stops when an arrow hits his shoulder and sends an electrical shock through his body immediately. "Ah!"
The agents and the woman watch as the motorcycle flies over them and slides into the building stopping a couple feet from the wall. "Don't let your guard down!" The woman yells at her men as Grim Reaper removes the arrow from his shoulder.
"I was thinking about the same thing about your team." Hawkeye says as he and Maurice get off the motorcycle with their weapons drawn. "Now, I will give you one chance to surrender Viper and Grim Reaper, or I will take you guys down the hard way."
Viper chuckles, "You honestly believe that you can take us down with your wannabe sidekick."
"I'm more than a wannabe lady, and I would listen to the man if I was you. Of course you guys are probably going to choose the hard way since villains love to make it hard for us." Maurice admits as he pushes the small turn circle having it stop on a light blue mark on both of his makeshift pistols.
Viper smirks, "It's nice to see that you already know the basics about our kind."
Maurice frowns at the remark and shrugs his shoulders. "That might be true, but you're still going down."
"We'll see. Fire!" Viper commands the Hydra agents.
The Hydra agents start firing their guns at the two, but everyone except Hawkeye and Maurice was surprised when the bullets started to hit an invisible wall getting the men to stop firing and to duck from the bullets flying back at them. "She came just in time." Maurice mutters happily.
"Good thing you told me about Phantom texting both of you guys, or we would be dodging bullets at the moment." Hawkeye tells Maurice.
Rachel McKenzie lands on the ground right next to Maurice asking, "You guys okay?"
"We're fine." Maurice tells her.
Viper grins cruelly, "Now this is definitely a surprise. First Phantom shows up, and now we got two Shield agents and another so called hero. This fight will be something Hydra will be proud to remember."
"I think you might want to reconsider that." Ironman says as he lands on the ground on the opposite side of the army with Phantom appearing a few feet to his right. "I say we got you in our grasp."
"This just made things so much more fun." Reaper says as he swings his scythe in anticipation.
Aelita enters the tower to fin Jeremy standing there waiting for her with a small smile on his face. "I'm glad you were able to get my mind safely." Jeremy says feeling grateful his friends and girlfriend was doing this.
"Danny said the others are on their way with the rest of your mind." Aelita assures him.
Jeremy nods his head and asks, "Aelita, did I make the right decision about separating my mind from my body?"
Aelita sighs and looks away sadly. "Honestly, I believe you shouldn't have done anything, but you did it because you didn't know if we were going to make it in time." She answers truthfully.
Jeremy watches as she looks up at him in the eyes seeing the sadness in those eyes. 'She's going to hate me for what I'm going to be doing soon.' "Thank you Aelita. I mean it even if my main emotions are along the lines of negative emotions."
Aelita smiles and puts a hand over heart. "Even if things don't work Jeremy, you'll always have a special part in my heart for all that you have done for me."
"Aelita!" The two turn around at hearing Ulrich's voice.
Odd comes walking into the tower followed by the other three, and the four continue walking up to the two geniuses. "Hey Einstein, are you ready to have your mind back together completely?" Odd asks as the four pull their containers up holding different parts of Jeremy's mind.
"You guys might want to hurry it up. Tony and the others just arrived to give you time, but we don't have as much time as we want." Jan tells them ruining the mood the group was about to get into.
"She's right." Aelita turns to Jeremy and nods her head. "Jeremy, you get in the center of the eye. The rest of us will surround you."
Jeremy nods his head and gets in the center of the eye on the platform with his five friends surround him each holding a container. "What do we do now?" William asks quickly.
"Everyone, raise the orbs at Jeremy's head level, and I'll do the rest." Aelita commands them. Everyone immediately obeys her command and watches as Aelita closes her eyes. "By the power of the keys and my mutant powers these six parts that were once separate will be reunited by the power of CODE: JEREMY!"
Hee hee, I wanted to get to a good ending, and this chapter is only one of four chapters. Hydra is only a small minority on what is about to happen for this chapter. Jeremy's mind will be reconnected though so don't worry.

Those are questions that might be answered in the next chapter. This Jeremy Arc is going to be good; I can feel it.
