This chapter came out way faster than I though would happen since I should be busy with school work. The good news is that this chapter will lead up to the big decisions along with the big fights. I do not own anything in this story, and I hope you enjoy.

Previously:

Viper grins cruelly, "Now this is definitely a surprise. First Phantom shows up, and now we got two Shield agents and another so called hero. This fight will be something Hydra will be proud to remember."

"I think you might want to reconsider that." Ironman says as he lands on the ground on the opposite side of the army with Phantom appearing a few feet to his right. "I say we got you in our grasp."

"Everyone, raise the orbs at Jeremy's head level, and I'll do the rest." Aelita commands them. Everyone immediately obeys her command and watches as Aelita closes her eyes. "By the power of the keys and my mutant powers these six parts that were once separate will be reunited by the power of CODE: JEREMY!"

Now:

Aelita opens her eyes, and the five Lyoko Warriors watch as Jeremy floats up the tower along with the five parts of his mind. Everyone watches in surprise as Jeremy's virtual body disappears leaving only six floating orbs. The five orbs circle the main orb then immediately connect with the orb putting his mind back together. The orbs merge together making one giant floating orb for everyone to see. They watch as the orb floats back down and transform back into Jeremy with his virtual body.

"How are you feeling Jeremy?" Aelita asks him.

Jeremy looks over his virtual body then puts his hands to his head with a smile on his face. "I feel like my mind has been put back together, and I can say that I am incredibly happy." He answers.

The group cheers happy that Jeremy's mind has been completely put back together. "Man, now all we need to do is restore your body, and everything will be back to normal!" Odd pauses at what he just said then rubs the back of his neck with a sheepish grin as the other look at him with blank looks. "Sorry, I didn't mean it like that, but you guys know what I mean."

"Unfortunately, we don't have time to waste." Ulrich says catching everyone's attention. "Danny is fighting the same people who attacked our school back in France. I say we give them a piece of our mind for trying to mess with us again."

Aelita nods her head. "Agreed. I'll make sure Jeremy gets back to the other tower safely. We can't afford any secret attack from Tyron, and this tower is not going to be stable enough after fixing Jeremy's mind." She explains to them. "Jan, do you know how to devirtualize us?"

"Piece of cake." Jan replies back as she starts typing in the command codes to bring the Lyoko Warriors.

"We'll see you back in the real world then." Ulrich says giving the couple a smile.

Aelita nods her head and smiles back. "I'll join you guys soon enough."

"We'll be seeing you later Jeremy." Yumi says as she and the others start devirtualizing.

"Yeah Einstein, we wouldn't want you to go anywhere alone without Aelita, now would we?" Odd asks rhetorically.

"Good luck." William says simply before the four were completely devirtualized.

'Thanks you guys.' Jeremy thinks knowing that they were not going to be happy with what he is going to do in the next few minutes.

"Let's get going." Aelita says as she grabs Jeremy's right arm by circling her left arm around it.

Jeremy gives her a genuine smile. "Yeah, things have only started getting better, and I don't doubt they will be even better after this." He lies knowing that Aelita would not be happy with what he was about to do.

Hawkeye crouches behind a random couch as Hydra agents' fire their guns at him. "Guess I better take care of those guns." Hawkeye pulls out an arrow and sticks it on his bow. He sticks his head out and fires his arrow watching it as it flies past the men and hits the concrete right outside the building. The arrow lets out a small pulse immediately stopping all the guns from firing surprising all the Hydra agents.

"He sent out an EMP!" One of the men yells in surprise.

"Good, that just makes it easier for us." Maurice says as he comes out and kicks the agent right in the face. Maurice lands on the ground, flips his pistol around for him to hold the barrel, and hits another agent right on the mask with the handle. He sees another agent swing his gun and fires his make-shift pistol at the gun. The gun flies out of the agent's hand surprising the agent, and the agent gets punched in the face immediately by Hawkeye.

Hawkeye pulls out another arrow and shoots it straight at Marcus who turns sideways making the arrow go right by him barely missing him. The arrow hits one of the Hydra vehicle blowing it up instantly. "Good call." Hawkeye admits before firing an arrow at an agent coming from his left.

"Thanks." Maurice slips his gun back around for him to grip the handle and spins both wheels having them stop on the fire symbol. "Let's heat things up."

"I got the perfect arrow for it." Hawkeye kicks another agent away then fires an arrow straight into the center of the mass of Hydra vehicles.

Maurice fires both of his guns letting out a couple balls of fire from each gun. He fires multiple times and smirks as the arrow blows up in the middle of the whole mess. "That should make things a bit easier for the others."

Phantom, Rachel, and Ironman hear the explosion and look to see the mass of vehicles either on fire or almost completely wrecked. "They took care of most of their heavy weaponry." Phantom says as he and Ironman fly over the destruction caused by the explosion.

"We'll worry about that later. Right now we need to finish this." Ironman says before flying down shooting his repulsors down at the wreckage.

"Easier said than done." Danny mutters as he lands on the ground. He turns intangible and feels the Hydra agent swing his fist through Danny's head. Danny becomes solid and punches the agent in the face then kicks the man away before jumping back avoiding the scythe that landed on the ground Danny was standing at. "Whoa, you could take someone's head off with that thing."

"That was the plan." Reaper says as he narrows his eyebrows at Phantom.

"Good thing Wolverine trained me then." Danny remarks as he makes two swords one made of ecto-energy and the other of ice. "Let's see if the training has actually paid off."

"You trained by Wolverine? Don't start making jokes kid." Reaper puts up his normal hand and points at Phantom. "Hydra will be victorious here kid. You are nothing but an obstacle for our goals."

"Yeah, let me know when Hydra actually wins conquering the world." Danny remarks sarcastically hoping to get Reaper riled up.

Reaper growls angrily and raises his scythe up. "Enough talk." He runs at Danny and swings his scythe. Danny blocks the scythe with his ice sword and swings his other sword at Reaper's chest. Reaper grabs Danny's ecto-sword only to yell and back away in pain. He looks down at his hand as smoke comes up off his glove. He shakes his hand and looks up at Danny with an angry look on his face. "You're one of them!"

Danny blinks a couple times in confusion and asks, "I'm one of what?"

Reaper growls angrily and tries to shake the pain off before getting into battle stance. "You're lucky my superiors gave orders not to talk about your kind." Reaper tells him before swinging his scythe again.

Danny blocks the scythe with the ecto-sword and feels the electricity run through his energy. "Oh, you shouldn't have done that." Danny sends the energy back and immediately shocks Reaper through his body making him smoke a bit before losing conscious immediately. "They're right though. My mutant powers do put my enemies at a disadvantage."

Rachel smacks an agent in the back of the head with her heal knocking the man out then puts up a small flat force field behind her. She hears a 'thump' and turns around to see two Hydra agents flat against the invisible surface. She shrugs her shoulders and runs to another agent punching him in the face before putting a force field up instantly blocking the gun fired from Viper. "Your guns still work, huh?" Rachel asks a little curious on how they still are functional.

"Unlike most Hydra agents, I stick with the old style." Viper remarks putting her two hand guns back in their holsters. "Your actions are quick and sharp for someone so young. It makes me curious if you were a previous agent of that stupid kid agency known as the Kids Next Door."

Rachel narrows her eyebrows slightly when she heard that name. "Why am I not surprised that you know about them?" Rachel asks not really expecting an answer.

Viper chuckles as Rachel removes the invisible barrier. "Well, it seems you were one of the more promising ones who got to keep her memory then." Rachel's eyes widen in surprise at the acclamation. "Don't be so surprised girl. We know almost everything about the Kids Next Door. We don't exactly care what goes on with them since they seem to go after people who are barely a threat at all. They never interfered with our plans, and they never will. You on the other hand are a former agent, and you're interfering with our plans. Hydra doesn't like it when someone interferes with our plan."

"Yeah, well that's too bad for you then." Rachel gets into a fighting stance and narrows her eyes. "You're right about me being a former agent of the Kids Next Door, but I was no former agent." Rachel runs at Viper and swings her right arm at the woman. Viper blocks Rachel's arm but blinks when Rachel's arm raps around that same arm. Rachel swings around Viper and kicks out one of Viper's legs distracting the woman for a second. Rachel raps her other arm around Viper's other arm and jumps over Viper taking the woman with her. Rachel flips around and releases Viper immediately allowing the woman to go fly into one of the destroyed vehicles as Rachel lands on her feet. "I was their former leader."

Viper wipes the spit and blood from her mouth and gets up on her feet groaning a bit in pain from the impact of the surprise grab and throw. "I have to admit…" Viper wipes her mouth again and looks at the blood before shaking it off. "You know how to fight, but a former leader rarely ever fights any more when they become in charge. I won't underestimate you again."

"That's unfortunate, because it looks like your team is going to fail getting what you are after. It won't be long until your team is captured and hauled off to jail." Rachel counters getting Viper to growl angrily at the remark.

Viper grits her teeth at the sudden turn around. She pulls her hand guns out and gets them shot out of her hand by Hawkeye's arrow going through them. "I told you that I will be bringing you in." Hawkeye says before firing another arrow that wraps a wire around Viper making her lose her balance and fall to the ground.

The five heroes look up and see a Shield jet coming down with a team of agents all ready to fight. "Well, you guys sure have your timing down. You're late once again." Tony says bitterly. "I'm starting to wonder what takes you guys so long to respond."

The jet lands, and the men get off to start wrapping up all the Hydra Agents lying on the ground. Fury walks off the jet last and looks around the area carefully. He turns his attention to Hawkeye who picks Viper up and walks over to the jet. "You disobeyed orders Hawkeye." Fury tells his agent.

"If there is anyone to blame Fury, you can blame our junior agent for trying to hot-wire my motorcycle to get here." Hawkeye counters as he walks by Fury onto the jet.

"That doesn't matter Hawkeye. You disobeyed orders when I told you not to go. You weren't going to be needed to help fight since the attack was smaller than a normal attack." Fury reminds him.

"Wait what?" Hawkeye stops in his tracks and hands Viper over to another agent.

"You heard me."

Hawkeye put one of his hands up and asks, "What do you mean this was smaller than usual? Hydra doesn't make small attacks when it comes to their targets Fury. If Hydra did something like that, then it means they're up to something else."

"Correct."

Hawkeye closes his eyes and rubs them annoyed at the information Fury was keeping from him. "Fury, did it ever occur to you that their attack would be inside the virtual world?"

"It has occurred to me Hawkeye, and it is the only possible explanation." Fury tells his agent.

"Wait, Hydra is sending an attack to Lyoko?" Ironman asks as the four heroes walk up to the two.

Fury turns his attention to the others and says, "We believe that is so."

Tony stares at Fury barely holding in his temper but pushes his anger to the side to focus on the real problem. "Jarvis, open up the defenses to the room and make sure the supercomputer is ready for us. If Hydra is sending an attack, we need to warn Aelita immediately." Tony tells the others before flying off to his building with the three teens running after him.

Hawkeye glances at Fury who nods his head. "When this is all over, we're going to have a talk about your recent decisions Clint." Fury tells the special Shield agent.

"Whatever you say Fury." Hawkeye mutters before walking after the others.

Fury shakes his head frustrated that Hawkeye was ignoring his orders. He turns to the Shield agents loading up the prisoners onto the jet and says, "I want all the Hydra agents you can find and load them up onto all the jets available. We can't afford any of the prisoners escaping."

"Yes sir!" The agents reply back.

Odd pounds the metal door hoping something would happen but groans in frustration as nothing was happening. "Give it up Odd." Ulrich says catching his best friend's attention. "We have to wait for Stark to open the doors before we can get out of here."

"It isn't fair though." Odd complains as he turns around to see his friends leaning against the wall and Jan sitting in front of the supercomputer. "We left Lyoko so we can fight Hydra and teach them a lesson, but we can't even escape the room! What kind of stuff does Tony even use to build these defenses?"

"If you so willingly get away from the door Mr. Robbia, Tony Stark has ordered me to open up the doors for him and the others to get in." Jarvis informs them.

Odd takes a few steps back and waits as the metal doors open up. Ulrich, Yumi, and William walk up next to Odd and smirk in anticipation as the door was completely gone. "Let's go!" William tells them.

The group was about to go through the door but stop when Tony Stark in his armor comes through the door with Danny, Marcus, and Rachel right behind him. "Tony, what's going on?" Jan asks getting up from the seat in surprise.

Tony's mask moves up over his head for Tony to be able to see everything in person. "Has anything happened on Lyoko while we were fighting Hydra?" Tony asks her and the Lyoko Warriors.

"No, everything has been going fine." Yumi replies back feeling confused about his sudden behavior.

"What's going on?" William asks as everyone except Danny walk past the three teens.

"The attack from Hydra was smaller than it was when you guys were attacked at your school." Danny tells them as he walks up to them.

"Wait, are you saying they just here to put on a show or something?" Yumi asks surprised by the sudden information.

"That doesn't make sense though. Why would the attack here be smaller than the attack at our school if our school had nothing to defend themselves from Hydra in the first place?" Ulrich asks curiously.

"We're about to find out." Hawkeye says as he enters the room.

"Hawkeye? Why are you here?" Odd asks confused on why his mentor would be here.

"I'll explain later. Is your friend Aelita still in the virtual world?" Hawkeye asks them.

"Yeah, she's…" Ulrich stops when they hear the scanner starting up.

Everyone turns their attention to the scanner and see Aelita come out of the scanner breathing a bit hard while holding her chest. "Aelita!" Danny, Rachel, and the Lyoko Warriors run up to Aelita immediately and surround her as she starts falling a bit to the ground.

Danny grabs Aelita's left arm while Odd grabs her right and put them around their shoulders. They carry Aelita to an empty seat Hawkeye grabbed and set her down in it to help her be able to control her breathing. "Aelita, what happened with Jeremy?" Ulrich asks.

"Let her breathe." Hawkeye orders the teens getting all the teens to back off a bit. "Something big must have happened for her to be like this."

Aelita calms her breath down and looks over at Danny. "Danny, Jeremy…he stabbed me…" Everyone's eyes widen in surprise.

"What?!" The Lyoko Warriors yell in surprise and anger.

"You might want explain from the beginning." Tony tells Aelita before anyone could start yelling questions at her.

Aelita take a deep breath and look up at everyone in the room. "I was taking Jeremy back to the tower to protect him…"

Flashback

Aelita flies outside the core of Sector 5 while holding Jeremy from both of his arms. Jeremy looks around the area in surprise and awe and says, "I never thought I would see the day when I would be in Sector 5."

"Why do you say that?" Aelita asks feeling curious why Jeremy would think that.

"You know I'm not good with fighting Xana's monsters, and I honestly thought I would never set foot on Lyoko again after the last time I trained with Ulrich and Odd." Jeremy admits as he looks over everything around him in amazement. "It truly is an amazing sight to see."

Aelita glances down at Jeremy and smiles warmly, "Maybe once we can restore your mind into the real world, I could show you around New York?"

Jeremy glances up at her then back at the all the codes he sees making the outer core of Sector 5. "Aelita, do you honestly believe that I can really be restored to the real world?" He asks her not knowing what he should think about the situation.

Aelita sighs knowing that the question was going to pop up. "Truthfully, I don't know, but it doesn't mean I am just going to sit by and do nothing. I want to be with you again Jeremy and do the same thing you did for me. I just want us back together again."

Jeremy remains silent at what he just heard. He looks away slightly flexing his hands and asks, "Aelita, is there something going on between you and Danny?"

Aelita loses her balance for a second in her flight then lands on the ground right outside the Celestial Dome. She lets Jeremy go and looks at Jeremy who takes a couple steps away from her before turning back around. "Jeremy, why are you suddenly asking me about my relationship with Danny? We're just friends."

Jeremy puts his hands in his pockets and looks down at the ground. "How often do you and Danny hang out Aelita? I want you to be honest with me."

Aelita opens her mouth then shuts it to think about her answer. She blinks in surprise when the answer pops up in her mind. "I hang out with him almost every day, but that should be obvious since we live together in the Institute." She finishes trying to make up an excuse about her and Danny's relationship.

"I meant outside living in the Institute." Jeremy says knowing that she knew what he meant.

Aelita looks away and asks, "Jeremy, why are you suddenly asking me about this? Nothing is going on between me and Danny."

Jeremy watches as Aelita closes her eyes and notices that she doesn't turn back around to look at him. "You seriously think I'm going to believe that Aelita? Before Hydra attacked our school to get the supercomputer from us, we were attached to the hip. I honestly thought we were in love. I thought we were going to grow up and be together, but it changed the moment you unlocked your powers."

Aelita turns her eyes back to Jeremy immediately when he mentioned her powers. "Jeremy…"

"Honestly, I thought you getting those powers were cool, and I thought we would help you train and figure out how your powers worked." Jeremy sighs feeling somewhat defeated as Aelita was staring at him with hurt in her eyes. "But…Hydra attacked our school, and we left to the factory immediately."

"I know what happened to us Jeremy. I was there." Aelita reminds him.

"That's just it! We were there through all of it! Then you decide to destroy Lyoko and face the men on your own despite you didn't know how to fight! I was afraid of losing you then Aelita, and once Hydra was defeated you decided to leave with Danny because he knew of people who could help train you." Jeremy continues to explain the story of what happened.

"You were okay with it!" Aelita counters getting Jeremy to sigh in agreement. "You were fine with me leaving so I can train myself to control my powers, and everything was going fine until you were captured by Tyron and Hydra."

Jeremy winces at the incident that led them into their current situation. "Ok, you're right about that, but they threatened to hurt my family. I didn't have much of a choice at the time."

"I know."

Jeremy and Aelita stare at each other in the eyes to see what each other was feeling. "I guess we've been holding this in too long, huh?" He asks her.

Aelita nods her head and smiles softly, "I'm just glad you're okay now."

Jeremy smiles, "Yeah, I am too." The two hug each other and sigh happily as they hold each other lovingly. "I'm sorry."

Aelita's eyes widen when something slides into her chest immediately. She steps away from Jeremy and sees a small sword sticking through her chest. "Jeremy…why did you…?"

"I'm sorry Aelita, but I can't have you interfere with what I'm about to do." Jeremy pulls the sword out of Aelita then stabs her again in the chest making her devirtualize back into the real world.

End Flashback

Everyone stares at Aelita in shock as she finished explaining what happened. Danny stands up straight and turns his head to Tony who glances at Danny and nods his head in reply. "Dude, why would Jeremy pull something like that?" Odd asks curiously. "He's been crazy for Aelita since the moment he's seen her."

"How did Jeremy create a sword out of thin air anyway?" Yumi asks not liking the idea of what Jeremy did.

"I don't know, but we need to head back to Lyoko." Ulrich tells them.

"But we can't go back until the twenty-four hour cool down is over." Yumi reminds Ulrich.

"It's a good thing I haven't gone yet then." Danny says as he walks away from Aelita and heads to the scanner.

"You're gonna go alone?" Jan asks as she raises an eyebrow at her cousin. "Danny, whatever Jeremy is planning might take more than one person to handle."

"He said that he didn't want Aelita to interfere, but what could the kid be doing that she would try to stop him?" Tony asks hoping that someone could come up with an answer.

"I have a pretty good idea, and I have to say that the boy is making a terrible mistake." Hawkeye says as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"What is Jeremy going to do?" William asks Hawkeye.

"If my memory serves me right, which it should, your friend is heading straight to Professor Tyron's virtual world. It also happens to be that Tyron works for Hydra, and if they find out your friend is back on their virtual world, they're going to be sending big forces to go after him." Hawkeye explains getting everyone to widen their eyes in surprise.

"Guess this means a new team will have to go with Danny into Lyoko and stop Jeremy from getting himself killed." Tony points out.

"I'm all up for going." Marcus speaks up.

Aelita gets up from the chair and says, "I should warn you though. The supercomputer scans your most inner thoughts and desires and puts them together to make your avatar for Lyoko."

Marcus nods his head in appreciation. "Thanks for the heads up."

"I'll go too. I always did want to go to the virtual world." Jan says feeling excited that she actually gets an opportunity to go to Lyoko.

Hawkeye looks over at Odd and asks, "Is Jeremy the same kid we rescued from Hydra a few months ago?"

Odd nods his head, "Yeah, he moved his mind into the Cortex right before we saved his body."

Hawkeye shakes his head a little frustrated on how stupid Jeremy was being at the moment. "I normally don't do stuff like this without reason, but I want Jeremy a piece of my mind."

"You're going?" Odd asks feeling giddy inside.

"Just one question: will any of these enemies we fight have a weakness?"

"Every one of Xana's monsters has a symbol on them." Ulrich says getting Hawkeye to raise an eyebrow. "The symbol looks like an eye and is the main weak point on all of his monsters."

"Are they one-shot kills?"

"Yep."

"Excellent." Hawkeye smirks and walks over to the scanner where Jan, Marcus, and Danny were waiting.

Rachel removes her mask and looks at Aelita with worry in her eyes. "Are you certain it's safe for anyone else to be going?" She asks her friend.

Aelita sighs, "At the moment we need to stop my boyfriend from getting captured or destroyed by Tyron. I don't know anything about the archer, but Odd knows who he is which is good enough for me."

"I wasn't talking about Hawkeye." Rachel admits while rubbing her right arm nervously.

"You'll be fine Rachel. The scanning in painless, and the supercomputer can multitask." Aelita puts her hand on Rachel's shoulder and smiles, "I don't know what Jeremy is up to, but I do know that he needs to be stopped before I end up losing him forever." Rachel nods her head and hugs Aelita before walking to the scanner.

Tony finishes typing the command codes in and says, "Ok, let's start the scanning procedure." Everyone gets into the scanner as the Lyoko Warriors gather around the supercomputer. Tony types in the command codes and says, "Transferring the data…scanning it…and…virtualization!"

A bright light covers the room, and the five people in the scanner disappear in the flash heading into the virtual world. The Lyoko Warriors and Tony look up at the scanner then at the screen to see the Phantom's avatar and four new avatars appear on the screen. "Let's hope this will work." Odd mutters worryingly.

Danny lands on the center white ring of the symbol on the floor in the arena and looks around carefully. He hears the noise of the others being virtualized into the room and looks up to see them become digital beings. He watches as the four beings land on the ground with Hawkeye being the only one to land on his feet. "Welcome to Sector 5." He tells them.

Hawkeye looks around the area then at his clothes noticing he was wearing were mostly similar to what he was wearing earlier including the mask. He reaches behind him and grabs his bow. He pulls his bow out and has it extend out nodding in acceptance. He reaches back to grab an arrow but realizes there was nothing there. He blinks a couple times then puts his hand on the string and pulls it allowing a normal to appear on the string. He smirks when he sees the arrow and chuckles, "I might actually get use to this."

Jan gets up off the group and hears a small buzz coming from her wings. She blinks and looks behind her back to see two sets of yellow wings on her back. She looks down at her clothes and notices the black and yellow striped dress that went down to her knees. She sees the black and yellow striped knee length socks along with yellow shoes with a black spot on the end of them. She looks at her hands and looks over the yellow gloves with a black outlining. "I'm looking stylish." She admits.

Rachel gets up off the floor and immediately notices the light blue baggy shirt and pants that she's wearing. She looks down at her feet to see a pair of brown sneakers then sees a pair of black fingerless gloves on her hands. She looks around and sees a small pole on her hip. She grabs the small pole and puts it in front of her and flinches back in surprise as it expands out into a bow staff. "I can work with this." She mutters happily.

Maurice jumps up onto his feet and immediately notices his black shirt and black pants along with black fingerless gloves and black boots. He looks at his left side and sees a holster before reaching and grabbing a gun that looked exactly like his hand gun. He reaches down on his right and feels the other gun before pulling it out with a smirk on his face. "It seems my guns made it through." He puts the guns back in their holsters and turns to Danny who was raising an eyebrow at Maurice's combed back hair. "What?"

"I'll talk about it later." Danny says before he could make a comment about Maurice's hair. "Anyway, Aelita, where do we need to go to Jeremy?"

"He's heading to the Skidbladnir Hanger." Aelita tells them.

"What's that?" Rachel asks curiously.

"It's where we have the Skid parked so we can travel the digital sea without getting our digital bodies destroyed." Odd answers getting Maurice and Rachel to widen their eyes in surprise.

"Odd!" The Lyoko Warriors yell at their friend.

"That's not what we wanted to hear." Jan mutters feeling a little uncomfortable with that explanation.

Hawkeye shrugs, "Eh, glad things won't be too easy."

The five hear a noise of something opening and turn their attention to the sound to see a path for them to follow. "I'll explain the rest later, but right now we're on a time limit to stop Jeremy from making a big mistake." Aelita tells them.

"Then lead the way." Danny tells her before running down the hallway with the others following him.

Aelita and her friends watch in worry while Tony leans back on the chair putting his hands behind his head. "So what do you plan on doing with Tyron's virtual world?" He asks Aelita.

Aelita blinks in surprise at the sudden question and asks, "What do you mean Tony?"

Tony looks over at Aelita and raises an eyebrow. "Your boyfriend is heading to his virtual world. I can only think of one thing he plans to do Tyron's virtual world."

"That idiot." Yumi mutters gritting her teeth.

"We need to have a team to attack the base before they capture Jeremy and force him to put the information into their mainframe." William says as Aelita lowers her head in thought.

"How can we go into a heavy secured facility without causing much problem?" Ulrich asks curiously as he looks between his friends. "There are five of us, and I doubt all of us should even go if Hydra comes up with another surprise attack in the real world."

"Ulrich's right." Aelita says as she turns around to her team. "I have some friends who are willing to help, but some of us are going to stay here to protect the supercomputer. Odd and Ulrich will go with me to the facility and hopefully destroy Hydra's virtual world once and for all. Yumi, William, I expect you two to stay here with Stark"

"You don't expect to destroy the facility with only three of you, right?" Tony asks feeling concerned that she would do something stupid.

Aelita giggles, "Of course not, I got a couple friends who should be willing to help."

"Who do you have in mind?" Tony asks feeling a bit curious about her friends.

"Don't worry Stark." Odd says as he gives the man a smirk. "We're just picking up a Ladybug and a Chat Noir."

Jeremy enters the hanger and walks over to the control panel that was built into the room for the portal that Aelita built to connect Lyoko with the Cortex. He turns the teleporter on and hears it turn itself 'on.' He turns around to see an oval shape portal open and nods his head. "Ok, let's go over the plan before I go to the Cortex." He mutters gulping in fear. "I need to get in the Cortex, get to the mainframe, activate the virus inside the mainframe that will destroy all the data of the virtual world including all the information about the virtual world, and make sure nothing evil makes it out alive." Jeremy walks through the portal and gazes out at the platforms of the Cortex. "I hope this works."

Tyron stares out into the sky on top of the building holding the supercomputer programmed with his virtual world. He takes notice of the jet flying towards the building and sees the Hydra symbol on it. He sighs in defeat knowing what was going to be happening. 'Might as well get this over with.' He thinks as he watches the plane land on the roof. He watches as the hatch opens up and sees a giant robotic figure walk out wearing an orange jumpsuit with a screen in its stomach. He walks up to the robotic figure and says, "Hello, Armin Zola, I see you and your agents were able to make it safe."

Armin Zola turns his attention to Tyron and asks, "Tell me Tyron. Why is it so hard for you finish the final touches for our team to use the towers programed to hack into anything worldwide?"

Tyron keeps a straight face even though he wants to roll his eyes at the message put up as a question. "I shouldn't have to remind you about the traitor Waldo Schaeffer."

"Ah yes, the man that stole everything from under Hydra's nose, I remember the situation well, but I am curious as to why he's never been found."

Tyron nods his head and leads Zola into the building with four Hydra agents following them. "I did some digging up on the information we got from when our team attacked his home to capture him and his family." Tyron starts explaining.

"Of course, the men were only able to get his wife, and he and his daughter ran off never to be found again until a few months ago." Zola points out noticing the small twitch with Tyron's left eyebrow.

"Yes, the boy, Jeremy, figured out how everything worked inside and out including the codes on how everything we needed to create the towers as well as virtualize our own agents into the virtual world."

"Something you screwed up again when you had the boy in your clutches. You couldn't even get the boy's mind before he was rescued by his friends."

Tyron growls angrily at the accusation and says, "True, but someone interfered by hacking our equipment."

"The equipment is untraceable and impossible to hack."

Tyron nods his head in agreement as he leads Zola through the building into the lower levels where the supercomputer was hooked up for them to use. "I thought so too, but his daughter was the one who hacked it."

"How did she do it?"

"My team went through everything and found nothing. She left no trail to be found making it almost impossible to figure out how she did."

"Smart choice of words Tyron, you're certain that she left something which can be true, but if our theory on what really happened with their first disappearance is true, then we are possibly facing his daughter using the control towers planted into the virtual world he stole from us." Zola and Tyron stop in front of a set of double doors, and Tyron walks over to the scanner on the wall. Zola raises an eyebrow at the change of security but does not question it since he already knows about the break-in a few months ago. "You better hope your research is correct on where the supercomputer was relocated Tyron."

"Don't worry about it Zola. The location is exactly where I know it is. My army of ninjas are ready to storm their virtual world once the teleporter has been activated."

"Are you certain that the team will succeed?"

Tyron chuckles as the double doors slide open for them to enter the lab. "Of course not, Shield will be all over them along with those 'heroes.' The attack is supposed to make them come to us so we can invade their virtual world before they even realize it." Tyron explains.

"Excellent." Zola smirks at the idea of the plan and follows Tyron into the lab.

Tyron leads Zola and the Hydra agents into the facility, and the Hydra agents stop right outside the door to keep guard. Tyron leads Zola up to the controls of the supercomputer and sits down on the chair before typing in the commands to bring up the holo-map of his virtual world. The holo-map activates in the middle of the big room allowing Zola to look at it with an unimpressed gaze. "Why does your virtual world look like an unfinished bowl, Tyron?"

"We're still working on the main parts of the virtual world. Right now its design, mainframe, and defenses are the only things complete at the moment. There seems to be a glitch where most of the virtual world would move at specific intervals of time. The team is still trying to figure out where that glitch is."

Zola nods his head not completely understanding the situation but knows that scientific genius takes time. "You're making progress which is good, but did you get any information from the boy's mind before his friends rescued him?"

"We only got the information on a few things." Tyron types in the commands on the keyboard and switches the holo-map to a holo-screen with a giant krab along with the information and schematics of the monster. "Unfortunately, this was the only one considered useful since the only information we got was about monsters created from a virus."

Zola's interest got peaked when he heard 'virus.' "A virus you say? Now, I'm even more curious about this virus."

"Unfortunately, all we got was a name, Xana."

Zola shuts his eyes on the screen as he thinks about the name. 'Xana…' "The name does sound a bit intimidating, and it being a virus makes me wonder how it could create such monsters."

"There are also these monsters that we got from the boy." Tyron switches the monsters out from the krab to the kankrelat, hornet, blok, and the creeper. "Each of these monsters seem to have their use, and we tried to see if they could be useful at all, but these four failed the test."

Zola scans over the information and stops when he sees the abilities listed for the blok. "How did the blok creature fail?"

"It's feet was the main problem since they seem to be unable to grip anything, but its loading time along with its changing of attack took too long each time we tested it. It has the slowest loading time even if it has the best defense."

Zola nods his robotic head accepting the explanation. "Is there any way to speed up the time?"

"We tried that, but the results are something we can never be proud of." Tyron admits with a frown. Suddenly the alarm went off surprising most of the scientists in the room, but Tyron and Zola smirk in anticipation. "Right on time." Tyron switches the screen to the virtual world and brings up the image of the person coming through the portal. His eyes widen when he saw Jeremy walk into his virtual world alone.

"Isn't that the boy you kidnapped a few months ago Tyron?"

Tyron nods his head. "Yes, Jeremy Belpois, he's the boy who holds the information we need in order to finish the virtual world."

"Bring him to the mainframe and make sure he gives us the information we need." Zola orders the other scientists.

"Do as he says." Tyron tells them before any of them could argue. "We can't let a time like this slip between our fingers!"

"Yes sir!"

Part 2 is complete, and things are leading up to the fight at the Cortex. The big battle is about to arrive, and Jeremy is about to make the biggest decision of his entire life which he believes he has already made. Aelita is trying to stop Jeremy by going through with it, and the five heroes in Lyoko as trying to get to Jeremy before something bad can happen to him.

Why did Tony not go to Lyoko with the others?

Why would Hawkeye actually volunteer to go?

Will the heroes be able to stop Jeremy?

How is this going to affect Aelita's relationship between Danny and Jeremy?

Anyway, Ladybug and Chat Noir will be in the next two chapters, people, and I bet some people are going to be hyped to read what they will be doing. Let's see how these fights will go.

I will mention that Armin Zola was not originally planned to be in the chapter, but I realized that I needed their part of the story in this arc since every point of view is important. Zola was going to be one of the other three big Hydra villains from the show, but he fits better for the situation. Plus, I actually got some new plans that actually got this arc to be a bit bigger, but it will still be a 4-part arc. R&R
