It is midterms week when I upload this chapter. I just hope you guys enjoy it. I do not own anything in this story.
Jeremy Belpois walks through the portal and stops to gaze at the site of the Cortex. He looks over the area with a small gulp in fear and mutters, "Let's get this over with." He starts walking towards his intended target fear coursing through his body. He stops as the platforms around him move making him look up as the platform in front of him goes up from his reach. "This is going to take a while."
He hears the virtualization sounds behind him and turns around to find three krabs landing behind him. He takes a couple steps back in fear and mutters, "I might have forgotten Tyron still has use for my mind." He makes a sword appear in his right hand and points it at the krabs who look down at it then back up at Jeremy who gulps nervously. "I should run now." He runs to his right and gets rid of the sword so it wouldn't slow him down. "Why does everything have to go against everything I wanted it to?"
Tyron watches the krabs chase Jeremy down and shakes his head as he and Armin Zola watch the teen run for his life. "He's delaying the inevitable." Tyron mutters disapprovingly.
Zola nods his robotic head. "Yes, but we got other things to worry about." Zola says leaving a hint for Tyron to do his plan.
"The ninjas are already on the move to the portal." Tyron informs his superior. "My ninjas have been programmed to act and think like humans, but they go beyond what humans can even achieve."
Zola ignores the last part and asks, "Can they use those towers in Schaeffer's virtual world?"
"All they need to do is get inside one tower, and we can get everything we need. Everything is going smoothly."
"Let's hope it stays that way. The last thing we need is for Waldo's daughter to interfere with our plans."
"Don't worry. I have a special plan for her when she tries to fight my ninja army." Tyron arrogantly says unaware that Aelita was on her way to their base in the real world.
Zola keeps his mouth shut but narrows his eyebrows at Tyron who was typing on the computer. 'You are on thin ice Tyron. One mistake is all it takes for you to be terminated.'
Danny leads Jan, Hawkeye, Maurice, and Rachel out onto the elevator, and the five heroes move slightly when the elevator jerks before moving them to their destination. "Tony, has Jeremy gone through the portal yet?" Danny asks.
"The bad news is that the portal has been activated, and Jeremy is nowhere to be traced." Tony tells them getting a sigh from Danny.
"I thought Aelita said something about her boyfriend not being able to fight?" Rachel asks curiously.
"You're right. He has no idea how to fight or even protect himself." Yumi answers back. "We don't know why he is doing this though."
"What if he's trying to destroy the Cortex?" Maurice asks getting the others to think of the possibility.
"Why would he do that?" Jan asks putting her right hand on her chin. "If the boy is smart, then he should know that doing this is practically suicide."
"That's probably why he's doing this." Hawkeye states which gets the others to look at him in confusion. "He plans on getting to Tyron's virtual world and hopes to destroy it, but if he plans on doing it alone, then there has to be some backlash for this plan to happen."
"Are you saying that he might have created a virus that will destroy Hydra's Cortex?" Tony summarizes in a question.
"Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying." Hawkeye answers.
"What kind of backlash would this virus have that would get Jeremy to hurt Aelita?" William asks not liking the feeling in his gut.
"I don't know what he did, but if the backlash is bad enough to get him to hurt his girlfriend, we know that it is nothing good."
"Should we even go after him if he's been planning this?" Rachel asks the others. She notices the others staring at her with an 'are you serious?' look on their faces. "Sorry, wrong question to ask. What I meant was, will of this be worth it if his virus or whatever actually destroys the Cortex?"
"In all honesty, if his plan actually works, we might not have to worry about Hydra invading the virtual world ever again." Tony says giving everyone the positive on the idea.
"Aelita wouldn't approve of it." Danny tells them as he balls his hands up feeling angry at what Jeremy did to Aelita. "She's been working on getting his mind back together ever since we found part of his mind in the Cortex. After the team did all of that, he talks to her then stabs her in the back. He might have a good reason, but it is still wrong to do it especially to someone you are dating."
"I don't know if I would still be dating the girl after she did something like that to me." Maurice admits feeling a little uneasy with the situation.
"I might." Hawkeye mutters as the elevator stops in front of an open door.
Danny leads the group into the room and immediately sees the portal already open. "Oh great, he's already gone through." Danny tells the team.
Maurice, Rachel, and Jan look around the Skidbladnir Hanger in surprise and awe while Hawkeye walks up to the portal with the bow resting on his shoulder. "This is our way to the Cortex, huh?"
"I hope it is. Aelita never showed me the final results of the portal or if it even works." He admits turning his attention to the control panel a few feet behind the portal. He walks around the portal and heads to the control panel with Hawkeye following him.
"This place looks amazing." Rachel admits as she starts taking her surroundings in for the first time.
"This place is bland compared to the rest of Lyoko, but you're right about it looking amazing." Jan tells the teen.
"I bet it is." Maurice admits turning his head to the portal resting open for them to walk through. "I'm guessing that's our portal to the Cortex." Maurice walks over to the portal but stops when a black and green figure walks through the portal surprising the trio. "Ok, I was not expecting someone to come through the portal."
"I doubt that thing is friendly." Jan tells the teen. She tries to imagine her stingers in her hands then blinks when she sees he hands transforms into actual stingers. "Ok, I should have tried to figure out what my new powers would have been before we got here." She points them at the ninja and shoots the stingers but blinks as the stingers fly into the portal behind the ninja. "I also need to work on my aim apparently."
The ninja brings out two swords and runs at the three only to stop when an arrow went through its head. The three watch as it devirtualizes in front of them. "You guys alright?" Hawkeye asks as he lowers his bow.
"We're fine, but that is definitely something I was expecting to come across." Rachel answers as the arrow disappears into data. "What was that thing?"
"Tyron calls them ninjas," Hawkeye tells them as he and Danny walk up behind the portal, "and our time just got cut short if they're coming through the portal."
"Agreed." Danny mutters. "We can't chase Jeremy and protect the portal from the ninjas. Everyone here barely knows anything about their powers and abilities."
"We'll improvise then." Hawkeye suggests. "Phantom and I will protect the portal while the rest of you go after Jeremy."
The two teens and Jan give Hawkeye uneasy looks at the suggestion. "Are you certain that's wise? I mean, none of us have ever fought these creatures." Maurice asks uneasily.
Hawkeye nods his head. "I know, but Tyron is going to be sending his best units towards the portal, and we're out of time." Hawkeye pulls an arrow from his string and stabs it right on the ninja coming through the portal. "You guys know how to fight. Use that and worry about your other abilities later."
Rachel and Maurice make serious face and draw their weapons nodding their heads in agreement. Jan transforms her hands back to normal and mutters, "I'm going to make some changes to my avatar after this."
The five run through the portal and were immediately in battle stances to see the portal surrounded by ninjas in every direction. "Ok, new plan, we take care of the imminent threat then get Jeremy." Hawkeye tells them.
"Agreed!" The others yell waiting for the ninjas to make their move.
"Those aren't the kids from before!" Tyron yells angrily as he and Zola stare at the screen of five heroes instead of the Lyoko Warriors. "Where are the girl and her friends?"
"We don't know sir!" One of the scientists' answers truthfully, scared that Tyron was getting upset.
Tyron grits his teeth and says, "Then our ninjas better get to the portal!"
"We're on it sir."
"What's the max amount of ninjas that can move, Tyron?" Zola asks the scientist.
"We can only move about eight or nine of them without overloading any of the machines." Tyron turns his gaze to the screen. "Once they're through the portal, then our number count would increase since the ninjas can act on their own."
Zola nods his camera and turns his gaze to Tyron. "We better hope we get some ninjas through Tyron. If this plan fails, then you can definitely say 'goodbye' to everything." Zola warns the scientist.
"I understand." Tyron turns his gaze to the screen and yells, "Take them out!"
"They're surrounded!" Yumi yells in fright.
Tony blinks at the amount of monsters surrounding the five and mutters, "They really were going to go all out with this plan." He puts his hand on his chin and gets up from his seat. Yumi and William watch as robotic hands came down from the ceiling and remove the armor from Tony's body. Tony turns his gaze to Yumi and William then back at the keyboard in front of him as the armor is almost completely off his body. "This is going to be a challenge." He sits back down and has his computer bring up the ninjas for him to study. "Jarvis, I'm going to need you to do a full out scan and make it snappy. We're on a clock, and we need to destroy the data making these monsters."
"I'm already on it sir." Jarvis replies back.
"What are you doing?" William asks curiously.
"I'm going to do what I do best, and you guys are going to see me make history." Tony answers as he starts typing quickly bringing up all of the monsters that the Lyoko Warriors have ever fought. "Let's see if we can erase those monsters and save Jeremy in the process."
Aelita flies the jet over The Atlantic Ocean and grits her teeth as she tries to make the jet go faster. 'I don't have much time, and this thing can't go any faster without falling apart.' She reminds herself in her mind.
Odd and Ulrich watch worryingly as Aelita pushes her mind and abilities to save Jeremy. "If we survive the flight and the fight, you owe me a pizza." Odd tells his friend.
"Fat chance, but I am up for a pizza when this is over." Ulrich admits shrugging his shoulders.
"Fine, we'll make Stark pay for it instead."
"I'm up for that." The two high-five and turn their attention back to Aelita. "Let's hope Aelita doesn't lose it though."
Maurice jumps over both swords swung at him by the two ninjas and points his guns at both ninjas at point blank range. He fires his guns instantly destroying both ninjas then jumps back avoiding another sword from another ninja. He blocks both swords with his guns the sees another ninja coming at him from his right. He kicks the ninja away then shoots his guns at both ninjas who deflect every shot fired at them. Once the ninjas got close he leans back avoiding both swords coming from the two ninjas and puts his guns right on their stomachs. He fires an explosive shot from each gun then flies back from the impact shot of his guns. Maurice lands on his feet and smirks, "Now that is how it is done."
Rachel blocks the swords with her Bo staff and ducks slightly avoiding the sword that almost went through her head. 'I am so glad I trained back with the Kids Next Door.' She thinks before kicking the ninja behind her away. She pushes in front of her away then swings her Bo staff at the ninja who blocks it with both swords. Rachel ducks again by doing the splits avoiding the ninja attacking her from behind. She twirls her Bo staff around in her hands then smacks both ninjas in the stomachs. She watches as an arrow goes through both of them and turns to Hawkeye with a grateful nod.
Hawkeye nods back at her before firing an arrow behind him getting the ninja trying to attack him from behind become frozen in ice. He turns around and fires another arrow at the frozen ninja smirking as it blew up immediately. He blocks the ninja's swords and pulls the string back immediately. He fires the shot hitting the ninja straight in the head then jumps over the ninja disappearing into data barely avoiding the ninja that came up behind him swinging its swords at him. "In all honesty, you guys are good, but unlike the real world…" Hawkeye fires an arrow hitting the ninja right in the head. "…I can actually do this all day." He boasts before pulling the string back and firing it at another ninja who slices the arrow in half. "Hm, I might have to get creative though."
Jan flies over the ninjas staying close to the portal firing her stingers from her hands and groans as she sees the stingers getting deflected by the ninjas. "This is not working!" Jan yells in frustration.
"What about your shrinking power?" Danny asks her as he smashes a ninja down into the ground. "Can you still use that?"
"I don't think it will be helpful in this kind of situation Phantom!" Jan flies straight down and smashes her stingers into two ninjas devirtualizing them before they initially react.
"Could you, I don't know, grow big like your boyfriend can?" Danny asks her as he blocks the swords from a ninja trying to surprise attack him.
Jan glances back at Danny in surprise at the sudden question then looks back at the ninja army as two more ninjas come running at her. 'You never know until you try.' She thinks as she closes her eyes imagining herself growing big.
Danny watches as Jan suddenly shrinks instead of growing big and sighs in defeat at the sudden development. "Well, it was worth a shot." He mutters. He turns intangible letting the two swords he was blocking from both ninjas to go through him and into each other.
Jan opens her eyes and notices everything was bigger than her. She glances back at Danny and mutters, "I can't believe you talked me into doing that." She was about to grow back to normal when she barely avoids a ninja stabbing its sword into the ground. She flies up in front of the ninja and smirks as an idea came to her mind. "Actually, I'm glad to be a wasp size again." She points and fires her stingers at the ninja. She flies over the ninja's swords as it blocks her stingers and smiles at the ninja as she came close to its face. "You got to love being able to fly fast." She fires her stingers at the ninja's face and smirks as the ninja disintegrates into data.
Maurice and Rachel jump back and found themselves standing back-to-back. "Hm, you ready to fight again like we were in Kids Next Door?" Rachel asks Maurice.
Maurice puts his guns into the holsters and smirks in anticipation. "Let's show these ninjas what former agents of the Kids Next Door are capable of." He tells her.
Rachel retracts her Bo staff and puts it back on her hip. "Let's dance." She and Maurice turn around and punch the ninjas coming at their former comrade-in-arms. She slips one of the swords out of the ninja's hand and stabs the ninja immediately in the stomach. She ducks as the other ninja flies over her with Maurice pointing one of his guns at it. He fires his pistol and sees it explode into data before tossing his gun to Rachel. Rachel catches the gun and turns to her left with the barrel of the pistol landing right on a ninja's face. She fires the gun then jumps into the air grabbing her Bo staff off of her waste. "Maurice, catch!" She yells throwing her Bo staff towards her battle partner.
Maurice kicks a ninja away and catches the Bo staff immediately blocking the swords coming from the same ninja. "You guys are becoming a serious annoyance just like the chicken pox virus created by the teen ninjas." He tells the ninja. He pulls his other pistol out and fires it straight at the ninja's head making it disintegrate into data. He jumps back and puts his back up against Rachel's back. "Grab your Bo staff and follow my lead!"
Rachel follows Maurice's command by grabbing her Bo staff but does not take her eyes off the ninjas coming at them. "I hope you got a good plan Maurice!"
"Don't worry. My plans rarely ever fail back then. I doubt this will fail now." He tells her before jumping over Rachel adding the backflip for extra style. He lands in front of Rachel and fires his gun behind her.
Rachel jumps over Maurice next and starts firing the pistol at the two ninjas coming up behind Maurice. She notices them blocking her shots and smirks as Maurice turns around and fires his pistol at both ninjas hitting both three times each on the body. Rachel lands in front of Maurice and pulls her Bo staff into two smaller rods. Maurice turns back around putting their backs to each other as they narrow their eyebrows at the ninjas coming their way. "How many more do you think there are?" She asks him.
Maurice shrugs his shoulders. "We could be here a while if we had to count all of them. I just hope we can stand this long enough to save Jeremy." Maurice admits.
"Let's dance then." The two teens run at the ninjas with a metal rod and pistol in their hands.
Jeremy hides behind a wall and hears the krabs coming in his general direction. "Oh man, I don't know how much I can take this." He mutters before running off in a random direction hoping to lose the krabs following him. He runs out into the open and skids to a stop when he finds himself out in the open area that was around the core. "He's been doing this on purpose." Jeremy mutters realizing what Tyron was planning. "Once I'm near the core he would set a big trap. I just know he'll do it." He jumps to his left in fright as a laser hits the ground next to him. "I should have taken Odd and Ulrich up on those training sessions."
Hawkeye pulls his string back and realizes that no arrow was coming up on the string. "Oh great, this is exactly what I needed to happen." He mutters. He jumps back avoiding the swords swung at him from two different ninjas. "Well, back to basic fighting skills then." He has the bow retract back to its closed form and puts it on his back. "Round two you stupid monsters."
"You guys don't have to worry about those things anymore." Tony says surprising everyone in the Cortex. "As of now, those ninjas are now useless data."
Everyone watches as the ninjas start to spasm before dissolve into bits of data. "Thanks Stark." Phantom says.
"No problem, I figured you guys were going to need the help, but we got a teen to save for Aelita."
"Maurice and I will stay here protecting the portal." Rachel volunteers tossing Maurice's pistol back to him who tosses the other half of her Bo staff back. "We never met Jeremy, but we do work well together."
Phantom nods his head. "Ok, the rest of us need to get to the core. Jeremy is either in danger or is on his way to be in danger."
"Those are always the two possibilities." Hawkeye mutters.
"Actually, Jeremy hasn't gotten to the core yet, but he is being chased by those krab monsters. I would hurry if you don't want Tyron to catch him." Tony tells them. "Oh yeah, here's a ride for you arrow man, and I happened to refill your arrow count. You should have somewhere near ten thousand arrows now."
Hawkeye raises an eyebrow then turns his head to the Overbike being virtualized for him to ride. He smirks in anticipation and asks, "Is this for real?"
"Yep, Jeremy designed it for Ulrich Stern, but I'm sure he doesn't mind you using it."
"We better get going then." Danny says before flying off to the core. Hawkeye jumps onto the bike and revs it up before chasing after Danny with Jan flying after him.
Rachel puts her Bo staff back together and has it go back to its closed form. She puts back on her waste while Maurice puts his pistols back in their holsters. "That was insane." Rachel mutters happy that the fight was over for the time being.
"I'm glad we don't lose any human-like energy while here. We probably could have been overrun by those ninjas if they attacked at the same time." Maurice points out and was glad that the virtual world didn't take most of the normal human limits. "Let's hope we won't stay here much longer. I do not like this place one bit."
"Agreed."
Ladybug jumps from one roof and lands on another roof just in time to see her partner Chat Noir a few blocks away coming her way. Ladybug makes a thinking face and mutters, "I wonder what was so important for Angelic Code to call me." She puts her right hand on her chin and starts tapping her chin in thought. "She only comes here if something big is happening. I hope it has nothing to do with the attack back at that abandoned house."
"What abandoned house?" Chat Noir asks as he lands on the roof Ladybug was standing on.
"Hm," Ladybug glances over at Chat and says, "it's nothing you need to worry about, but I wonder what kind of emergency Angelic Code would need our help with."
Chat raises an eyebrow confused on what Ladybug was talking about. "Wait, take a few steps back. Who is Angelic Code, and what exactly are we doing out here?" He asks his partner.
Ladybug grins sheepishly forgetting that Chat never met the people she did back at the Hermitage. "Sorry, Angelic Code is a hero from America that I met a couple months ago."
"Oh cool, is she as cool as you are?" Chat asks with a flirty look on his face.
"Don't get your hopes up." Ladybug counters with a bored expression on her face. She goes back to explaining her story. "Anyway, she and some other people were at this old abandoned place looking for something that was there. Unfortunately, they ran into some problems, and I just happened to be around at the time and joined in to stop the threat that suddenly showed up."
"What was the situation?" Chat asks her feeling curious about his lady's safety.
Lady sighs and turns around crossing her arms in annoyance. "The situation was something neither of us have ever experienced."
Chat's face went from a smile to a frown. "How bad was it?"
Ladybug turns back around and looks Chat straight in the eyes. "Chat, the people who attacked them were kids, alien kids."
Chat digests the information into his mind and raises an eyebrow at the accusation. "Alien kids? Ladybug, I know you don't like me making cat puns and all, but this seems a bit farfetched. Don't you think?"
"I know, but the things we found out those kids did. Their allegiance was to a group of people who called themselves the Galactic Kids Next Door, and they're planning to invade our planet destroying everything they find unworthy to join their cause to kill teens and adults." She explains.
Chat stares into her eyes to find if she was lying to him but could not find anything to prove if she was lying. "I…I don't know what to say." He admits feeling conflicted with the information dropped on him.
"Honestly, I really don't understand the whole thing myself." Ladybug admits with a small smile. "Anyway, after we defeated the kids Phantom suggested that I give my number to Angelic Code since she use to live here in France."
"Uh, who's Phantom?" Chat asks curiously.
Ladybug sighs in defeat. "You'll probably meet him later." She tells him trying to get them back on subject.
"Him? Is it another guy trying to steal…?"
"No one is trying to steal my heart Chat! May we please focus on what I'm trying to tell you before you get us sidetracked again?" She desperately asks him. He flinches back at the sudden outburst and nods his head. "Thank you. Now as I was saying, Phantom told me to give my number to Angelic Code just in case some big incident comes up where they need our help. She called me a few minutes ago telling me she was on her way and needs our help taking down an evil base run by some evil scientist named Tyron."
"I'm always up for some bad guy behind whooping. What are we waiting for then, My Lady?" He asks her making a gesture with his hand for her to lead.
"We're waiting for our ride." She answers bluntly when a sound of a jet engine reached their ears causing them to look up wondering where the sound was coming from. Ladybug notices a fast jet coming towards their city and taps Chat's shoulder getting him to turn around and loo up in the direction she was looking at.
"Man, how fast is that jet going?" Chat asks curiously.
"I honestly have no clue." Ladybug answers as the plane moves in their general direction then stops a couple hundred yards above them. "It seems our ride is here." They watch as the hatch to the jet open and stand back a bit as the jet starts coming down towards them. Once the jet was low enough for them, the two heroes look at each other and nod their heads before jumping onto the open hatch and running inside the jet.
Chat and Ladybug run into the cockpit and take their seats behind Ulrich and Odd immediately. Odd turns his chair around and smiles at Chat Noir as Aelita moves the jet back up into the sky and flies them to their destination. "Hey Chat, how have you been doing?" He asks curiously.
"Feline, what are you doing here?" Chat asks surprised that someone he knew was on the jet.
Odd points back at Aelita and says, "Angelic Code and I are friends. She and I have been friends the past couple years."
"How did you guys meet?" Ladybug asks curiously.
"That's actually a little bit complicated." Odd admits with a nervous chuckle.
"…And related with our current mission if you think about it." Ulrich adds to Odd's statement. "You want to give us a rundown Angelic Code?" He asks his friend.
Aelita makes a holo-screen appear behind her and brings up a picture of Tyron for the four to see. "This is Tyron. He used to work with my dad on an illegal project that my dad thought was to help the community. My dad betrayed the government and stole all of the information about the project leaving them dry. Tyron sent a special group of agents to arrest my family, but my dad and I were able to escape after they caught my mom." Ladybug gasps in surprise putting her hands up to her mouth, and Chat Noir was stunned by the sudden drop of information. "Ever since my dad and I escape, Tyron hasn't given up trying to get back the information that my father has stolen."
"What did your father steal from these guys that would make Tyron go after you guys?" Ladybug asks sadly.
Aelita closes her eyes sighing in defeat. "He achieved the impossible by creating a virtual world. He and many other scientists completed this project for a virtual world, and my father found out about the real reason behind everything and stole it before it could be used for Hydra's evil purpose."
"What is Hydra?" Chat asks curiously. "I feel like I should know that name."
Ladybug rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "Hydra was the group led by Red Skull during World War II." She reminds him.
"Oh yeah, thanks, My Lady."
Ladybug rolls her eyes again and shakes her head at her partner's forgetfulness. She turns her head back to Aelita and says, "Sorry about Chat, you can continue Angelic."
Aelita nods her head appreciating Ladybug's manners. "My dad stole the plans and the virtual world and put everything in an abandoned factory. He put us into the virtual world and shut the supercomputer down with us inside the virtual world." Chat and Ladybug's eyes widen at the drop of information. "I was asleep in there for ten years, and I would still be in there if it wasn't for my boyfriend, Jeremy."
"What is going on then?" Chat asks seriously losing all joking manner from his voice.
"I'll give them the short version." Odd pipes up before Aelita could finish her story. "Jeremy frees Angelic Code from the virtual world, and she grows up with us for two years. One day Hydra attacks our school, and we were saved by Phantom." Ladybug's eyes widen realizing that Feline was talking about the attack at the school she saw from one of her patrols during the day. "She leaves with Phantom to train, and Jeremy gets captured by Hydra right under our noses. We free Jeremy only for his mind to be in the virtual world created by Tyron. We save Jeremy reconnect his mind, and now he's in Tyron's virtual world planning to destroy it without any help."
"We also believe that he's being suicidal doing this as well." Ulrich adds seriously. "We're going to make sure that he doesn't go through with it and hope that Phantom and the others stop Jeremy inside the virtual world."
"If you have a team there, why are we still going to their base?" Chat asks crossing his arms over his chest.
"Tyron has other plans for Jeremy. If the others stop Jeremy, it won't stop Tyron from attacking them." Aelita explains as she starts slowing the jet as they got near their destination. "We're going to make sure that Tyron is stopped and that he gets what is coming to him."
Jeremy runs past some krabs only to stop when they fire lasers at his. He looks up at the krab on his right and says, "Tyron, why do you need the information? You have your virtual world and your army. I don't see why you need me around."
"I'm not stupid Jeremy Belpois. You have the information on how to create the towers on how to virtualize human beings into the virtual world. I would go after Waldo's daughter, but you're an easier target compared to her. So I'm leaving you with a choice. You can either do whatever you came to do or you do what I say without your parents suffering for the mistakes you have made against Hydra." Tyron tells Jeremy.
Jeremy balls his hands up and looks down in fright and anger. 'He doesn't have my parents…does he?' He thinks in frustration. 'If he does have my parents then I'll have to do what he says, but I could still do my original plan which would make him believe I'm giving him what he wants. Yes, this might actually work in my favor, but my parents will have to suffer for the consequences of my actions.' He glances back up and says, "Fine, you win. I'll give you the information you need."
"Good, now head straight to the core, and you should know what to do there. If you lie or double cross me, your parents will get it." Tyron tells him.
Jeremy gulps and starts walking to the core aware of the dangers he is about to inflict upon his friends and family. 'I'm sorry Aelita, but this needs to be done.'
"Jeremy!" Danny yells as he, Jan, and Hawkeye come into view of everyone near the core. "You got some explaining to do!"
"Danny?" Jeremy turns around to see the white haired teen standing in front of two adults: one female standing behind him slightly and one male sitting on a bike with his bow drawn.
"Take care of the intruders, and you better not stop walking to the core Jeremy!" Tyron orders the krabs and Jeremy.
Jeremy turns back around and starts walking to the core thinking, 'Take care of her. She'll need someone she can trust.'
Danny punches one of the krabs on the eye then flies away with a growl in frustration. "I didn't come in here to fail." He mutters.
"Phantom, you go on ahead." Hawkeye tells the teen making Danny turns his head back to look at the man. Hawkeye shoots an arrow at a krab hitting it in the eye then ducks as a laser flies over his head. "We'll handle things here." Hawkeye pulls the string back and fires another arrow hitting the eye on the krab that just recently fired at him.
Danny glances at Jan who was flying past the krabs firing her stingers at the monsters. He nods his head and flies straight for Jeremy who was entering the core. The door starts to shut getting Danny to grit his teeth in anger. "Come on." He pushes his speed and turns intangible when he remembers about his power that came from the real world into the virtual world. 'I might not be fast enough to get to Jeremy, but I'm not going to let Jeremy go through with this.'
Jeremy goes through the teleporter and finds himself in a room full of platforms above and below him. He looks down and sees the platform with the interface. 'Here goes nothing.' He jumps down onto a platform and lands on his stomach nearly planting his face onto it. 'This is going to be a lot harder than I thought.'
Tyron watches the screen with a please smirk on his face. "It won't be long now. Jeremy is finally going to do what we need him to finish." Tyron says happy that he will finally get what was stolen from him and the others.
"Are you certain that he won't go behind your back Tyron?" Zola asks feeling a little uneasy at how easy it was to trick the boy.
Tyron waves off his superior's concern and keeps his smirk on his face. "Everything will go according to plan. Nothing will stop me from achieving the perfect virtual world!" Suddenly an explosion went off surprising everyone in the building as it shook violently. Everyone turns around immediately as the wall blows up and widens their eyes as five teen heroes come walking into the basement like it was the main floor of the secret base. Tyron's eyes widen when he recognizes the pink haired teen and purple cat. "How did you find this facility, and how did you blow up the wall when the ground was surrounding it?!"
Aelita narrows her eyes at Tyron and makes an energy field in each of her hands. "That's for me to know, and for you to be taken to jail." She tells him throwing both energy fields at the machines connected to the supercomputer.
"Stop them!" Tyron yells pointing at the four teens.
The four Hydra agents point their guns at the five teens and start firing their guns at them getting Aelita to put a force field around her team for protection. Armin Zola puts his robotic hand behind his back and thinks, 'His daughter is here, but if she's here , then she plans on stopping Tyron. I better take my leave.'
"Feline!" Odd jumps over the force field and starts running towards the four Hydra agents on his four limbs. He slides underneath one of the agents before flipping back around kicking two of agents in the back getting them to stumble forward and drop their weapons. "Ronin!" Ulrich super sprints at the other two agents and slice their weapons apart surprising both agents at the sudden attack. He slices the other two weapons that fell from the two agents Odd knocked down.
Odd fires a net arrow getting the four Hydra agents captured inside the net. He gives Ulrich a high-five then turns around facing the scientists all looking at the group of heroes in fright. "Now, who else wants to attack us?" Odd asks the scientists.
"You're too late Aelita." Tyron says getting everyone to look at him. "As of right now Jeremy is imputing the information to create everything I need to finish my virtual world."
Jeremy hears Tyron make the implication and snickers, "Yeah, like I would be doing that." He starts imputing the data he held inside his mind and stops when he feels a hand on his shoulder. "Danny, you need to let me finish imputing the data."
"You mean the virus." Danny corrects knowing what Jeremy was actually planning.
Jeremy sighs in defeat and continues transferring data around. "Yeah, I know that you guys are not happy with me and this choice, but I have to this. Even if I didn't do this, I wouldn't have much time left. Without my body my memories have nowhere to be stored besides my mind, but without the proper functions of the human body my mind will become an empty slate, and I would just be an empty mind on Lyoko." He explains not loving his situation one bit.
"You could have told her that." Danny counters balling his hands up at the sudden news of Jeremy's condition.
"I know, but she would be wasting her time trying to save me." Jeremy stops imputing the data when a specific file came up for him. He moves the file away and continues putting the data into the interface. "I made a mistake, and the only way for me to make it up to her is to destroy this place and all the data inside the supercomputer. I would suggest getting everyone out of here before something happens to you guys."
"What are you going to say to Aelita?"
Jeremy closes his eyes and sighs, "The truth." He stops his typing and turns his head back to Danny. "Take care of her."
Danny turns his back to Jeremy and mutters, "I'll try." He flies away and leaves the room through the teleporter.
"We need to get to the supercomputer and stop Jeremy." Ladybug tells them as more Hydra agents start piling into the room between them and Tyron.
Suddenly a giant screen pops up with Jeremy's face on it catching everyone's attention. "Have you finished?" Tyron asks keeping his eyes locked on Jeremy.
Jeremy pushes his virtual glasses up and says, "Yes, I have imputed the data…"
"Excellent, you did well…"
"…to destroy your virtual world permanently along with all of the data in your supercomputer." Jeremy finishes surprising Tyron and all the scientists in the room. Jeremy smirks, "Did you really think I would believe that you have my parents? Aelita would have been told immediately if my parents were captured. I only complied because I would be close enough to take your work without you even knowing it."
Tyron was seeing red. He turns back to the teens in his lab and yells, "Kill them all!"
"I wouldn't do that." Jeremy says in a sing-song voice getting Tyron to look back at Jeremy. "If you want to survive the explosion about to go off in three minutes, I would advise leaving the facility."
Tyron looks down at his supercomputer and sees the timer counting down already at two minutes and twenty-nine seconds. "You fool…"
"No Tyron, the fool was you trying to mess with us, and as of now your virtual world is gone." Jeremy tells the scientists before turning off his screen to the real world.
Aelita stares at where Jeremy's face was in shock. She could not find herself believing what she just heard come out of Jeremy's mouth. "We need to get out of here." Chat tells them.
Ladybug looks at the shocked teens and turns to Chat. "I'll try to get Angelic Code out of it. You get the other two out of it." She orders her partner.
Jeremy watches the screen with a sad smile. "I won Tyron. Aelita is now free from your clutches." He brings up the separate file and sends it to the supercomputer where Lyoko was being held in and smiles in victory. "I hope the others make it out in time."
Tony stares at the screen with his fingers intertwined over his mouth waiting for some kind of news from the team on Lyoko but raises an eyebrow when a file suddenly appears on the screen. He opens the file and widens his eyes when he sees what it is. "This is…"

The good news is that the Jeremy arc is almost over, but we are still nowhere close to the GKND arc. I'm not going to reveal anything that will be happening for the next chapter.
Right now I'm in midterms, and I am still giving you guys this chapter. I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. I have to go study now.
