Percy stands next to the throne of Zeus. He sees the other thrones in rumbles. He destroyed them all and now for the last one. He lifts the blade and slashes the throne in half, destroying the last power of the Olympians. He turns around to leave the room until he senses someone. "You better come out now."
The presence comes out from behind a pillar to reveal Hestia. The Goddess of the Hearth stands in front of the one that killed his family. "So you are here for revenge Hestia?" She walks away and motions him to follow her. Curious, he walks with her. This goddess is different compared to the others. She doesn't have arrogance or trying to kill him so he decides to see what she is planning. "Just so you know, if this is a trap then you will die Hestia."
"I know." She nods. "If we fought then I would die. However that is not why I want you to follow me. I wish for you to meet someone. Once you know him, you will understand."
The two walk into Hestia's temple. The house is modest, almost like a simple cabin. "Adam! Please come out!" A blond rotund teenager walks out of a room. He is wearing a white shirt with jeans. "Momma, is it time to leave?"
"Momma?" Perseus looks at Hestia. "I thought you weren't allowed to have kids."
She walks to her son and hugs him protectively. It reminds him of his mother holding him like that whenever Gabe would get drunk. "You are correct. I wasn't allowed to have children but I wanted to have one. Children are beautiful and sacred but my siblings saw them as tools. Years ago, I met a young man and we had a night of passion and gave birth to Adam. I kept him hidden in my temple because if Zeus found out, he would kill him."
"He was paranoid of powerful demigods." The new God of War comments which makes Hestia nods. "He became our father in the end. He killed Metis because he thought their child would overthrow him. It is why he force Hades to the Underworld. That is why I don't blame you for killing the Olympians. My son would've been the next target of Zeus."
Perseus nods. "Very well. Now what do you want now?"
"You saved my son and I. We wish to help you right Adam?"
"Yes Momma. You hurt the bad people. So you must be good. Momma always said to punish bad people and help good people." Adam said with stars in his eyes.
The new God of Olympus turns around. "Then follow me to a new age."
In an unassuming apartment, a man known as a scumbag around his neighborhood is drinking beer on the couch watching TV when suddenly the door is knocked.
*BANG*
*BANG*
"Sally! Get the door!" He shouts at his returning wife, not caring that she return after disappearing.
*BANG*
*BANG*
"Tch stupid bitch." The disgusting man snarls as he walks to the door to open it. "Go away!"
Those were his last words as arrows riddled his body. Ending the life of Gabe. The girls that shot him, walk in looking for someone and that person walks in.
"Gabe what did you say?" Sally Jackson comes out and stops moving once she sees the armed females. "H-hunters of Artemis. What can I do for you?"
The girls aim their bows at the mother of Percy, ready to release the arrows at a moment's notice though one of them is doing so reluctantly. The leader of the group steps forward. "You will come with us. Refuse and thou will die."
Camp Halfblood has not been told anything. The gods have not visited and even Dionysus has not returned. Chiron has no idea what is happening but he knows something is wrong. The Winter Solstice was a week ago and still no word from Manhattan.
The demigods cannot help but feel something, as if they lost something important. They all gaze to the city sensing a presence coming. The centaur orders everyone. "Everyone step back! Something is here!"
Though he says this, he too is confused. 'The tree should've stopped anything coming into the camp. The only ones that can go through the barrier now are the gods. But this person, it is none of the gods I felt.' Chiron looks at the figure walking towards the camp. A giant knight is walking alongside a teen who is carrying a crate. They stand at the center of the camp with the centaur counselor in front of them. "Who are you intruders?"
"I suppose you wouldn't recognize my new form Chiron. I am the one you sent on that mission to the Winter Solstice." The man confesses to the shock of the centaur.
"Percy?" Chiron mutters in confusion which shocks everyone. This is supposed to be the newest camper?
"It is good to see you again Mr Chiron. I just wish it was on better terms. Adam." The new god of war orders the child who places it to the ground. The kid turns around and plugs his ears with his hands. Chiron, curious about the box, opens it and gasps once he sees the contents inside: The Olympians' heads.
"This is the fate of your parents. The gods are dead. I killed them and hold their power." Percy declares as he summons the Blade of Olympus and stabs the ground. "If you wish for revenge step forward and share their fate."
"Why?" One of the campers whispers in fear. Many of them are afraid but others are enrage that their parents are dead but one of them is angry for a different reason.
"Your god parents didn't care about you! You were nothing but tools for them to use! Join me and there will be a new age where we will not hide! One where there are no Greeks, Norse, or Roman!"
"You are insane!" Malcom of the Athena Cabin insults Perseus. "You wish to fight all the gods?!"
He looks at the son of Athena and sees the same grey eyes as Annabeth. "Your sister was killed by Ares and your mother would've done nothing! She and her entire family would gladly let you all die if it means they are safe on Olympus! The other gods are the same puppeteers and it is time to break your strings! Who is with me?!"
No one can speak or react to this declaration: War on all gods. Except one.
"HAHAHA!" Clarisse laughs as she walks to the armored man. She gives him a bloodthirsty grin. "A war against everyone with next to no hope of winning? Sign me the hell up!"
"Annabeth knew the danger as a daughter of Athena. You however are a monster!" Malcom insults him as all of the Athena cabin and a few other campers agree with the counselor.
"I see." Percy as he looks at Chiron. "And what about you Mr Chiron?"
The Centaur looks at the box full of heads of the gods. He sighs knowing what he must do. "The other pantheons will come after all of us once they find out. Olympus houses treasures that the others will want. As such I will stand with you."
"WHAT?! NO! HE DESERVES DEATH YOU STUPID HORSE!" The son of the exiled wisdom goddess shouts outrage but Percsus snaps his fingers and Adam turns around to face Malcom. Suddenly four heavy stone blocks appear and slam into him. The force knocks him out and he falls to the ground once they disappear. The new god of war pets the son of Hestia on the head. "This is my little protege Adam. Let's just say his genes make him the best. Anyone else have a problem with me?"
The silence is the only answer amongst the campers. With just a single injury, Camp Halfblood surrendered to the growing force of The Merciless.
Later Percy can be seen walking into the Fighting Arena. He is looking around remembering himself training with a certain demigod. Speaking of him…
"You can come out Luke." He orders as the son of Hermes steps out of hiding. "Have you come for revenge or jealousy?"
"So you found out." Luke states as he stares at the god in front of him.
"Your backpack and shoes almost killed us on our journey. Not only that but there is another presence inside you. Stronger then little Zeus."
Luke smiles menacingly. It was definitely not a grin a mortal makes. "I should thank you for killing my worthless sons but now I am quite angry I didn't kill them myself."
"Kronos." Perseus narrows his eyes as he looks at his new enemy. "I don't sense Luke anymore. You sacrifice him didn't you?"
"Indeed. All I had to tell him is he will gain the power to defeat the gods if he sacrifices his soul to me. The fool agreed, not knowing that now I hold his body. With your death all of Olympus is mine."
Luke begins to mutate. His body is growing and getting grayer. "Behold! My form when I fought in the Titanomachy!" He has become easily 1,000 feet and his hair gone, this is no longer Luke Castellan but Kronos: The Lord of Titans. The Titan grabs the armored man and holds him in his hands. "Die by my bare hands perseus!"
Percy stabs his hands with the Blade of Olympus, making him let go of the God Killer. A stone block appears below him and he lands on it. He looks down and sees Adam summon more blocks to create a road straight to the Titan. "Excellent Adam! Keep going my student."
He charges toward Kronos but he raises his hand to slam his opponent. A shield of blocks appears and guards the slap. The Titan of Time grimaces in pain but he ignores the pain as he uses his other hand to smack Adam.
"Adam!" Percy cries out as his student is in a hand crater, unconscious. This pisses him off and keeps going to Kronos. He jumps off the blocks and stabs the Titan in the stomach. The monster screams in pain as he is sliced open by Percy sliding down and drops down to land on his feet. Kronos kneels to the ground holding his stomach as his intestines are falling out. He sees Percy walking toward him with a cold look. Kronos tries a desperate attack but it to late as he is cut vertically in half. "No one hurts my student."
He walks away from the corpse as checks Adam. He is still alive but that smack hurt him a great deal. Hestia teleports to see her son unconscious and her father's corpse and realize the situation. "I'll take care of him Percy."
He nods as she takes her son away to get healed. The former demigod walks around and sees the Tree of Thalia and puts his hand on it. He feels the energy of a person within it and comes to a decision. "No mortal should be force to this fate. I will release you soon Thalia Grace."
His thoughts are distracted once he sees a demigod runs toward him with a message in hand.
"My lord, this is message from the Hunters of Artemis. They said to give it to you." She hands him the message and he begins to read it. His race displayed rage the more he reads and finally the piece of paper is lit alight once he finishes it. He runs immediately to the location it said they were at.
"They kidnap my mother! They and their precious goddess will suffer for this. So you desire war Artemis? Shame because I have the powers of Olympus. Hang on mother, I'm coming."
Sally Jackson is tied down force to kneel in a cage as Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt is ranting and raving about her son to her Hunters.
"That vile male will pay for his disrespect! His suffering and death is the only thing that will satisfy me! To Hades with Athena and her Amazons! We will kill Perseus and every male that supports him!" Her maddening speech causes cheers from her worshipers as the mortal woman is scared. Not for her life but her son's. Unknown to everyone, a lone hunter sneaks to the cage and hands her a apple.
"Here you must be hungry." The hunter said as she hands her the fruit to the mortal captive. She is confuse however by this kindness. "My name is Naomi. Think of me as a defector of the Hunters."
Diana is cleaning her weapons as the news has just been announced. The Amazons will go to Man's world to reclaim the home of the Olympians. She looks up at the stars with sadness in her heart. "Mother is this the right path? Are we truly going to attack?"
Frustrated, she throws her sword to the ground and walks away. "This is not right. We are protectors, not invaders."
