Previously Yesse- Adam maybe a character that came out of nowhere but I want Percy to have a team. There will be characters that are familiar. Kronos was based off of God of War, that is why he is taller.
LoverOfArtemis- This is based on DC Dark Nights Metal, where evil versions of Batman attack the Justice League. The Merciless is if Batman had the powers of Ares and broke his no killing rule.
Percy finds the warehouse where the Hunters of Artemis are keeping her mother. He walks to the entrance where two hunters are guarding the door and they begin to scowl once they see the male that humiliated their goddess. "Take me to your mistress now."
They escort through the warehouse where the Hunters are all glaring at this male. In the center of the building, Artemis is sitting on a throne made of wood and fur. Surrounding the throne is corpses prop up on spears. They look to be male warehouse workers while the female workers are in cages with one hidden under a curtain. Percy stands before the Goddess of the Hunt and glares at the smug woman. "Is this supposed to intimidate me? Your desire to kill all the males?"
"Not just kill them, eliminate all of those wretched males and make the females the majority." Artemis declares with madness in her eyes. Losing her family and being exiled from Olympus has made her snap and now without her brother to control her impulses, she has nothing holding her back.
"And what about the females that want nothing to do with your genocide? Those that have husbands and sons?" The God of Olympus demands but she glares at him and rises from her throne. "They will learn the truth, even if we have to make them."
That declaration makes Percy realize her plan: Brainwashing. He looks around and sees the Hunters glaring at him with empty eyes. "I see you have already done it to your own hunters."
"Yes now bow before me!" She demands but Percy refuses. "You are no goddess. Just a mad woman."
"I said bow! Unless you want your mother to die!" Artemis shouts and snaps her fingers. The signal makes two hunters take off the curtain showing an empty cage.
"Where is she?!" Her Hunters search for the escape mother while others aim their bows and arrows at Percy who is almost amused. "Truly, you are a mastermind of the ages."
Zoe Nightshade aims her bow and the male that humiliated her mistress. "Silence thou filthy male!"
"Alright. I'm ending this stupidity." The God of Olympus summons his sword and strikes down the closest hunter and that makes them all loosen their arrows. The arrows bounce off his armor as he slays many in his way. Zoe aims again at this male and is about to fire but then two arrows hit her arms making her drop her bow. "AH! What?!"
She looks at the direction where the arrow came from and sees a fellow hunter with Sally behind her. Gone is the Hunter uniform and instead is a green hoodie. Zoe is about to yell at her but she instead screams in pain as her hands dissolve. She falls to the ground as she keeps screaming as her flesh and bones keep dissolving.
"Arrows coated in acid. It took me decades to create and find the right metal but the results show." The hunter said as Artemis sees her and yells. "Naomi! What do you think you are doing?"
"Ending a madwoman and her cult." The hunter proclaims as she fires another arrow at her former patron but she catches it. Enrage at this treachery, Artemis snaps the arrow and prepares to fire but Percy jumps next to her and punches her in the face. This dazes her which gives him the chance to impale her with his sword. But a hunter pushes her goddess out of the way and is killed instead. The Goddess of the Hunt jumps back and fires an arrow which goes through his armor and hits his shoulder.
Percy grunts in pain but ignores it once he sees Artemis punch Naomi and grab his mother and puts a dagger near her neck. "Don't you dare move male!"
"If you so much as prick her, I will make sure what I did to Zeus will be childplays when I'm done with you!" The Merciless threatens which makes the goddess quake in fear.
"Look, let me go and you can kill all the Hunters here." She bargains to everyone's shock. None more so than Phoebe. "Mistress why? We are your loyal daughters."
"Daughters? No you are my servants and it is your duty to lay down your lives if it means I survive. I can just find more females to put into my service and they will like it." Artemis admits, only caring about herself like any other Olympian would have done. However her focus is away from Naomi who fires another Acid Arrow into the Goddess of Hunt's head. The acid makes her stare blankly as her brain begins to dissolve. Sally gets out of her grip and elbows her to the ground where Artemis disintegrates into nothingness. Her Hunters see their goddess' death and kneel to the ground, surrendering.
"Mother." Perseus runs to Sally. She looks at her son and hugs him. "Mom, I'm sorry you got involved with this."
"It isn't your fault. Artemis was a monster that needed to be put down. I am proud that you helped do it."
Naomi walks to the son and mother which catches Sally's attention. "Oh Percy, this is Naomi. She was protecting me from the other Hunters. I told you Naomi that he would come and save me."
She pulls down her hoodie so her brunette hair flows freely. "Good to know you have such a son. I am Naomi Queen but you can call me Green Arrow."
Diana walks into the temple that is miles away from the city. Away from Athena and her mother's reach. She looks around searching for the goddess that she wishes to talk to. Many minor goddesses have come to Themyscira to give the Amazons guidance and now the Princess wants to meet all of them for answers before she makes a decision that will change everything.
A woman in a biker outfit is sitting and reading fortune cookies. "Eh good enough. Did you know that I don't get that many visitors? I can count my followers on this island with one hand. They want to be with Athena out of all of us."
"Lady Nemesis, I have come for a question. Is what the Amazons are doing just?"
"You mean an invasion of Manhattan right?" She asks which Diana nods. "You know that Athena is fighting to avenge Zeus and the Olympians. But are they worth vengeance?"
"But they are our patrons. The Amazons are warriors that have served Zeus for generations."
Even if he is a rapist?" She asks, to the shock of Diana. "I'm not surprised that she hid the truth. Zeus has laid with women both willing and unwilling. He has ruined these women's lives thanks to Hera who knew she can't hurt her husband but she can kill those women. Many of them have died because they were forced upon and couldn't do anything about it. Are those people just to you?"
"I-I can't believe this." Diana is shocked at the news while the Goddess of Vengeance just nods as she looks at another fortune cookie and hands it to her which confuses her.
"Trust me, you will understand." Nemesis as the princess of the Amazons leave the temple. She cracks the cookie and a piece of paper comes out. She reads it out loud, "Truth can be found through the end of the rainbow."
She thinks of the message and comes with an answer. "Iris."
Charlies Beckendorf looks at his greatest creation. Percy showed him that the gods can be defeated and the demigods can succeed them. His creation will help him with this goal. Suddenly Silena runs as shouting and fighting can be heard outside. She runs to her boyfriend and hugs him.
"Silena? What's going on?"
She looks at him with tears in her eyes. "Hercules is outside and attacking everyone."
Charlies nods and turns back to his weapon: A gauntlet with a drill attach to it. He attaches it to his right arm and walks outside. "Time to show him what the Impact Drill can do."
