The Egyptian Gods are having a meeting in the Duat. They are discussing the Amazon Invasion coming to New York.
"Why should we concern ourselves with the Greeks? Let them kill eachother and we can enjoy popcorn while watching the show." Set said not caring about the invasion.
"Are you a fool? Athena will not stop at just Olympus. She will attack our House of Life once she is done." Isis insults Set and explains the danger of Athena. Soon the gods descend to arguing and fighting. They stop once Osiris stops on the ground. The king of the gods has their attention.
"Enough! We must combat Athena if she attacks our House. Which is why I hereby declare that we will bring back our champion: Black Adam!"
This shocks everyone with Isis voicing their disagreement. "Husband, Black Adam was a threat to us all. Once we gave him the power, he prepared to destroy Egypt once they enslaved his family. We cannot imprison him again if we free him."
"I know Isis but our hosts cannot defeat the Amazons and especially Athena. Black Adam has the power of six gods. We have no choice but to release." Osiris said as he nods at Shu, Horus, Amon, Zehuti, Aten, and Mehen. The six gods gave a portion of their power to Black Adam and they have the power to release him from the darkest pits of the Abyss. Following their king's orders, they place their energy into the center of the meeting circle. This summonses a man wrap in mummy bandages. Unable to see, hear, or speak. He cannot move and so, he lays in front of the gods. Osiris takes a ritual knife and cuts the bandages to his mouth. This allows Black Adam and so he says the magical words that will regain his power.
"SHAZAM!" Lightning comes out and strikes Black Adam. The figure in all black comes out of the bandages, the only source of light is a lightning symbol on the chest.
Within Percy's mind, Percy and Mars clash in the Coliseum. The Roman God of War tackles him off him and swings his battleaxe which hits Percy and slams him to the wall. The God of Olympus throws his greatsword but he dodges out of the way. Percy runs at the distracted god and tackles him. He lifts Mars and slams him to the ground. Mars headbutts him to get off him. The God of War knees Percy in the stomach and punches him which makes him kneel. He can't understand how Mars is still alive. "How are you alive? When I killed Ares, your soul would be absorbed into my blade."
"Indeed but it was thanks to the interesting ability of my helm. My soul was sealed into the helmet which saved me from being absorbed." Mars explains and summons blades such as swords and spears from the ground which stabs Percy all over his body and traps him. Mars walks towards and places his hand on Percy's forehead.
"Once your body is completely mine, Minerva will quake on my return." Percy screams as his soul begins to disintegrate. All Mars needs to do left is destroy Percy's soul. With him in control of the God's body, Mars will be the strongest god on the planet.
Percy's possessed body holds a blade and blocks a strike from Diana while Annabeth dodges from blades being launch at her. The daughter of Athena puts on the invisibility cap which makes her vanish. Mars summons swords and launches them at Wonder Woman, who blocks and dodges the swords. "Fall to my hands Diana! You will submit to my might!"
She blocks the blades with her bracelets. They bounce on her bracelets as she ducks a spear on is right under Mars and smash her bracelets together. This creates an explosion which hits Mars and cracks his helmet. He falls while Diana places her knee on his stomach to force him down. She grabs the helmet but Mars grabs her arms and clenches with all his might. Unable to remove to get the helmet of Percy, she tries another way. "Listen Percy! I know you can hear me! You can win, this is still your mind! Fighting and conflict doesn't empower you. Understanding and love will always prevail against despots like Mars!"
Percy opens his eyes and feels his soul come back with renewed vigor. He headbutts Mars which breaks his hold of him as the blades on him disappear.
"What?! Impossible!" Mars shouts in shock as his colosseum disappears and is replace by an ocean. The Roman God of War falls in the ocean and begins drowning.
"This is my soul. I refuse to let your rage control me!" Percy declares to the drowning god, who frails in the water.
"Don't you understand Percy Jackson? Rage and war are what powers my helmet. Without it, you are powerless against Minerva and her Amazons! Let me go and I will make sure the helmet will give you the power of the gods!" Mars tries to convince Percy to let him live. Let him stay inside the helmet and Percy's soul. However Percy will not be corrupted again.
"Goodbye Mars. I will use my own powers to save New York." Percy leaves his mind as Mars drowns, destroying the presence of the God of War.
Diana breaks from Percy's grip. Percy finds himself back in control of his body and removes the helmet from his head. He looks up at Diana.
"Diana?" Percy questions and she nods. She kneels next to him.
"I am here Perceus Jackson. Please the helmet." Diana holds her hand and Percy instinctually pulls back but he calms himself and gives it to her. She throws it up in the air and cuts it in half, destroying the Helmet for good.
"Please Diana, could you call me Percy?" Percy almost rest until he hears a cry in pain. Both of them run to the sound only to see Annabeth Chase impaled through the chest thanks to a greatsword.
"Annabeth!" Percy shouts, seeing his friend like that.
"Damnit… I wasn't fast enough." Annabeth said disappointed in herself.
"It's okay. We are going to get a healer. There must be someone alive left." Diana assures Annabeth but she interrupts her.
"No please listen. My mother and her Amazon army is going to invade New York City today. They must be there by now. I am sorry for believing in her."
"No you will make it, there has to be something to help you!" Percy looks for something to heal her. He sees Reyna and Thalia run at them holding ambrosia. Annabeth however is blacking out but she tries to warn him.
"Listen, Athena has allies from another pantheon. They are stronger than any god I have ever meet." Annabeth passes out as Reyna and Thalia kneel to force feed her. Percy stands along with Diana. They both have to get to New York and quickly.
Diana holds up something in her hands. "These are my invisible keys. Tell me Percy Jackson, Have you heard of an invisible jet?"
New Yorkers are going through their regular lives. Going to work, traveling around the big apple, and hanging out with friends and family. Naomi Queen is sitting outside the Empire State Building, waiting for someone that wanted to meet here.
"Green Arrow?" Artemis Crook asks Naomi, who nods.
"I'm guessing you are Tigress?" Naomi asks back and Artemis shake hands with her. She sits down as well but she looks up at the Empire State Building.
"So that is where the Olympians use to live. The Norse have a portal in Boston to Valhalla. It is much better I tell you." Tigress gloats but Naomi rolls her eyes.
"You can say that after you visit Olympus." Green Arrow replies. They laugh together, both having fun. Naomi pulls out a chocolate and cuts it in half. She offers it to Artemis and she accepts.
Naomi is curious about something. "So why did you call me?"
"Ah, I can't come with some girl talk?" Artemis jokes but Naomi only has to raise an eyebrow for her to spill. "Okay I'll explain. Heimdall visited Hotel Valhalla and said that the Amazons are attacking soon. I left to warn you guys."
"Thanks but Percy is in California. Let's warn Hestia." Naomi said and they are about to enter when someone is shouting on the sidewalk.
"You all should be proud to witness my resurrection! I am the God of Olympus! Behold, for I am Maxie Zeus!" A man in a toga shouts at everyone, who are ignoring him and avoiding eye contact. This however strokes his ego. "Yes mortals! Avoid your gaze for my perfection will no doubt blind you all!"
Artemis is confused by this shouting man so she ask the only Greek demigod around. "Is this a friend from Camp Half-Blood?"
"Nonono. This crazy idiot has been doing this for awhile now. He keeps trying to break in at night but the security guard throws him out of the building. He raves about his divinity in the morning then does it again the next night." Naomi explains then sighs once she realizes Maxie made eye contact with her.
"Ah a hunter! Do tell your patron that her king and father is here!"
"Sure!" Naomi pretends to do it as they enter the building then she turns to Artemis. "Yeah, just say what he wants to hear. He is going to be here longer if you don't."
They go up to Olympus and are walking towards Hestia's house when suddenly a massive explosion shakes them. Artemis gazes out towards the city and sees smoke coming miles away. "That explosion came from Brooklyn. Are they invading now?!"
More explosions are coming closer. Hitting multiply buildings. Hestia runs towards the girls with her son Adam. She tries to look for the attackers and realizes the truth. "It's the Amazons!"
The House of Life is in rubbles. Carter Kane throws a boulder off him and looks for his sister.
"Sadie! Scream if you are okay?!" Carter shouts and he hears her.
"I'm over here!" She screams which he follows. He enters another room to see Sadie Kane pick up a boulder to save Zia Rashid, who is trapped under it. She tries to lift it, but it is too heavy. She kneels to heal her. Carter kneels as well to check on his girlfriend (Zia) and sister (Sadie).
"Don't worry Zia, we are going heal you."
Sadie looks up and tries to find the attackers. Amazons break inside and charge at them. She summons a fireball but they block it. They surround the three with Carter protecting Zia and Sadie cursing the promise Isis made. "Where the hell is that hero Isis was talking about?"
"Right here mortals." A voice above everyone alerts the Amazons and they look up be struck by lightning which turns them to ash. The man lands next to them. It is a man in black and yellow. His cape flows thanks to the House of Life having holes. He grabs the boulder on Zia and throws it away. "You speak to the Prince of Kahndaq. Your precious gods have begged for my assistance. Be grateful that I have come. Athena will beg for death when I am done with her."
Black Adam flies away, towards Empire State. This leaves the three as they rest and heal. Carter stares down as Sadie is healing Zia. Meanwhile their hero just abandon them, leaving them to heal themselves.
"What a douche."
An invisible jet touches down outside Empire State Building and it opens to reveal Athena and Hippolyta. They exit while three warriors are behind them. Hippolyta is disgusted at this destruction while Athena is proud that she will have her revenge. These three were given to her by a new ally. "Go forth Furies! Destroy Olympus and leave no survivors!"
Big Barda, Lashina, and Gilotina run inside.
