Firstly I would like to apologise for my lack of writing ability. I am an unexperienced writer and am just doing this for fun, I struggle with tenses and after reading through my last chapter I noticed several mistakes. As a reader I know errors hugely effect the ability to lose yourself in a story so I ask that you be patient with me. I have done a little research and read some others stories to try and learn and better myself. Also thank you again for your lovely comments.

"I would like for us to date, but I do think we should take it slow. Tonight meant we jumped a few steps ahead, and I think we should take the time to properly get to know each other before anything else," Arizona responded. She was worried that Callie would be upset but her words, but her experiences with past partners have taught her not to jump into relationships unless you're 100% sure and neither of them knew enough about the other to know that right now.

"I agree. It's easy to rush things when it's two women. The emotions are intensified and there's a sense of safety. I think we should date, keep things casual and if we want to change that then we'll communicate that to each other," Callie gave a reassuring smile to Arizona and a small kiss on the lips. "But if we're being honest, I really like you Arizona Robbins." Arizona gave Callie a super magic smile and nodded.

"I'm liking you more and more every day Calliope Torres."

Callie walked off the elevator into the hospital lobby feeling exhausted, her and Arizona had been up talking until sunrise and by the time the blonde had left she had barely managed to get two hours of sleep before her alarm was interrupting her dreams. She greets a few fellow surgeons at reception and turns to head straight to the coffee cart when she's interrupted by a hand holding out a cup of the much needed caffeine for her. The delicious smell of freshly brewed beans is intoxicating and she releases a loud sigh of relief as she takes a sip of the sweet nectar.

''I saw you and blondie leaving Joe's in a hurry last night so I predicted you would need at least two coffees before our surgery this morning.''

Mark Sloan was the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Seattle Grace, he and Callie had slept together the first week at Seattle Grace but they quickly decided they would be better off as friends since he was in love with an intern and she was finding herself more interested in women these days. He had been begging her to make a move on Arizona for weeks as he somehow knew that their feelings for each other were mutual, and as happy as she was about that she hated the smug smile he was giving her right now.

''So come on Torres, I need details and I can feel you're desperate to tell me everything.''

''My lips are sealed Mark. I'll let you have your dirty thoughts, but my memories of our amazing, sexy, naked night are for me and her only.''

And with that she swiftly headed down the corridor to get ready for their surgery, together they were about to reconstruct a mans' hand and Callie had been looking forward to it for weeks.

''I'LL GET IT OUT OF YOU TORRES, YOU KNOW I ALWAYS DO,'' Mark shouted after her. He was relieved to see his friend finally happy, she had shared some things with him about her past and it was nice to know she finally had some dating success, even if she refused to give him the gossip right now he knew she would cave and have to tell him all about it during their surgey.

Callie reached the attendings lounge and was happy to find the room empty, she wasn't much of a morning person. After removing her coat and hanging it up with her purse she turned to the mirror and checked herself; she had made sure to cover her dark circles this morning before she left since her sleep deprivation was clear and she wanted to look good incase she bumped into Arizona. She pulled her hair up, smiling at the memories of her doing so last night before tasting the blonde, chuckling to herself as she walked out of the lounge almost bumping into Dr. Shepherd.

''Dr. Torres, it was nice to see you last night. I didn't see you leave but from what I could tell you and Arizona must have left at around the same time, no?''

It was clear Amelia was desperate for gossip and judging from her glare she had guessed what had happened last night, but there was no way Callie was going to give up any information to her, even though making her jealous would feel fantastic after her behaviour last night.

''Yes, it was a good evening. As for Dr. Robbins, I can't speak for her whereabouts at the time of my departure from Joe's-''

''You know we're dating, right?'' Amelia interrupted Callie. ''It's casual, we're both also seeing other people, I just thought you should know.''

Callie was taken aback by the statement, she knew they were friendly but Arizona hadn't mentioned anything last night about Amelia except for her supposed recent breakup.

''What you and Dr. Robbins do in your spare time is no business of mine. Anyway, I have a surgery to get to so I will see you later.''

Callie makes a hasty exit and heads towards the O.R. Was Amelia telling the truth or was she just jealous? Surely if Arizona was dating somebody else she would have said something last night? But she did make it clear she wanted to keep things casual, and they hadn't said anything about not seeing other people. As the thoughts filled her brain she reached the O.R and was relieved when she found Mark there already. Immediately, like word vomit, she told him everything; all about their evening at Joe's, their night at hers, their conversation about dating and lastly the comment from Amelia. They had both fully scrubbed and were starting to operate by the time she had finished.

''Well you agreed to keep things casual, right? And seeing other people is normal in that situation. She told you to communicate with her so if you want to know what's going on just ask her."

"I just don't understand why she wouldn't have told me that she was dating Amelia. She had the perfect opportunity, she knew I felt jealous at the bar, why didn't she just tell me then?''

Callie hated playing games, it's why she hadn't been in a relationship since her ex passed away. Dating was easy, you see each other once or twice and then move on to the next person, but she didn't want that with Arizona, she wanted more and she thought the feeling was mutual.

''Callie, you only slept together last night. Before that, you were nothing. She hasn't done anything wrong here, you are allowed to have feelings of jealousy because you like her, but her making the decision not to tell you if she's dating other people isn't breaking any rules here. If you want to be exclusive you need to tell her that but you also need to prepared for her to not be ready for that because from her point of view she hooked up with a super hot chick last night and then told her she wants to take her out on a date.''

It made sense, she knew it made sense. Just because she felt a certain way it didn't mean that Arizona did too. She did need to talk to her, she needed to have some clarification on what it was they were doing. But what if she is dating Amelia? Callie isn't sure she feels comfortable with that. Have they had sex? Has she seen her naked? Just the thought was making her blood boil.

''You never know, maybe you all can have a threesome. Shepherd is hot!'' Mark smirked at her.

Callie scowled.

''Come on Torres I'm just messing with you! Talk to her. Derek and I are heading to Joe's tonight, you should join us. Take your mind off blondie for a few hours.''

Callie's whole body ached, she had been in surgery for almost 8 hours and her ability to survive on two hours sleep was becoming almost impossible. She had another surgery in a few hours so she will head to the cafeteria, grab herself a bite to eat and then find an on-call room to crash in until she needs to operate. There were a couple of people waiting for the elevator so she decided to take the stairs, the cafeteria was only one level above, plus maybe the exercise will wake her up. She pulled out her phone as she started to climb the stairs, she had been hoping to hear from Arizona but was disappointed when her screen remained blank, the conversation with Mark had only made her feel worse and she was starting to regret her drunken antics. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs infront of her, she lifts her head and her dark brown eyes meet blue, her words caught in her throat as she reaches the blonde. Arizona steps infront of her stopping her in her tracks, she tilts her head to the side, a small smile on her face as she reaches for Callie's lab coat, pulling her in for a slow kiss.

''Calliope.'' Their lips barely inches apart, noses touching.

Arizona pulls her in for another kiss but stops when she sees the look in Callie's eyes.

''Callie, what's wrong?''

She grabs her hand reassuringly and gives it a squeeze.

''Oh it's nothing, I'm just tired. Just finished a long surgery.''

Arizona didn't believe her, but she didn't want her to push to talk about it if she didn't want to.

''Okay, if you're sure there's nothing else. I've been hoping to bump into you, I want to tell you how amazing last nigh-''

''Stop, it's okay. You don't have to do this.'' Callie interrupted, pulling her hand away from Arizonas.

Arizona gave her a confused look.

''I know that we're just keeping it casual. Seeing other people. Amelia told me that you two are dating.'' Callie hated how jealous she sounded. She knew she was handling this terribly but she couldn't keep her feelings from Arizona.

Arizona took a step back, taken aback by Callie's words. She took a moment to process and then reached out for her.

''Come with me.''

She pulled Callie's hand and was relieved when she felt no resistance, they reached the floor above. They made their way down the corridor and into the closest on-call room. Arizona leaned against the door and watched Callie take a seat on the bed.

''Amelia and I used to occasionally sleep together, it was months ago and she has been in a relationship since then. We never dated, it was-

''Casual.''

''Yes Callie it was casual but that isn't what we're doing here. I don't just want to sleep with you, I want to date you, I want us to get to know eachother, I want our relationship to grow and ulimately end up in exclusivity.''

''But you want to continue to see other people?''

Arizona was confused. She had felt like they had been on the same page last night, they had both agreed that taking things slow was best because it's easy to get excited and rush into things.

''Callie, I thought we agreed that's what we will do for now. Last night was unexpected, I was hopeful that we would get the chance to have a drink and get to know each other better but I never anticipated to be lucky enough to spend the night with you. As far as I was concerned before last night you liked to flirt with me at work but that was it.''

Callie sat frustrated, unable to make eye contact with the blonde. She felt stupid, they had spoken about it last night and she was happy with their decision up until Amelia put a spanner in the works this morning. She had felt jealous before, but after this morning it had overwhelmed her. The thought of Amelia doing the things to Arizona that she had done last night.. but she wasn't. They had a past but Callie didn't even know Arizona then, Callie had a past too and she couldn't image Arizona would use that against her. She looked up at Arizona and saw confusion, she looked slightly flushed from what Callie assumed was her frustration with her, she stood up and took a step closer, she could see her pupil's were dilated and was aggresively biting down on her lip.

''I got jealous. I am jealous.''

She closed the gap between them and kissed Arizona, taking her arms and pinning them above her head using one hand to hold them in place whilst her other slid under the blonde's shirt.

''You're so sexy when you're frustrated,'' Callie whispered as she slid her tongue up her kneck and sucked on her earlobe.

Arizona growled in response and spun them around, forcefully pushing Callies' back against the wall.

''You are allowed to be jealous.''

She pulled Callie's scrub top over her head and started trailing kisses aggressively down her body.

''The thought of you on a date with somebody else makes my blood boil Callie.''

Callie's pants are pulled down her legs, quickly followed by her underwear. Arizona slides her tongue up the latinas' body and pulls her into a passionate kiss which Callie reciprocates, their bodies pressed together and Arizona's hands all over her.

''I can feel myself getting addicted to you, unhealthily so. I haven't been able to stop thinking about you all day. But I need to have some self control here, I need to make sure than this isn't just amazing, mind blowing sex.''

Her fingers fill Callie's heat and she begins to pump them in and out of her, Callie gasping for breath and gripping onto the blonde.

''I want us to both be sure that we only want each other and as much as it enrages me thinking about you kissing someone else..

Arizona's thrusts only get harder and deeper, biting and sucking on her kneck.

''Fucking someone else. We need to know that we only want each other if we're going to do this properly.''

She can feel Callie wrapped tight around her, struggling to keep up the rhythm as she gets closer to orgasm.

''If it gets too much, if the jealousy starts to negatively affect our relationship then that's when we need to have a conversation and think about what we want to do about it, until then, sometimes jealousy isn't the worst thing in the world.''

One final thrust and a bite down on her neck is all it takes for Callie to lose control. Arizona holds her tight, kissing her neck and sucking down making sure to leave a mark. She moves them both over to lay on the bed, running her fingers through Callie's hair as her eyes flutter open.

"So when are you taking me on this date then Robbins?" Callie sticks her tongue out and gives the blonde a little shove. "Serious faces for a moment. Dating sounds good, I will get jealous but like you said that isn't always a bad thing plus we're not going to be calling each other after and filling each other in on all the details are we. As long as we are respectful then we will be fine."

Arizona nodded in agreement and gave her a small kiss.

"Now, I need to nap before my surgery because you have exhausted me so go away please. Dating doesn't allow sleepovers."

Arizona responded with an exaggerated gasp and gave Callie her best shocked face before getting up from the bed and throwing Callie's clothes on top of her, she blew her a kiss before unlocking the door and leaving the brunette to her nap. Callie was happy, rushing things would only end in heartbreak and at least this way things will always end in hot, jealous sex. Callie falls into a slumber with a smile on her face sure that after all this Arizona Robbins will end up being, dare she say it, her girlfriend.
