Previously on Giving Into Temptation

"So when are you taking me on this date then Robbins?" Callie sticks her tongue out and gives the blonde a little shove. "Serious faces for a moment. Dating sounds good, I will get jealous but like you said that isn't always a bad thing plus we're not going to be calling each other after and filling each other in on all the details are we. As long as we are respectful then we will be fine."

Arizona nodded in agreement and gave her a small kiss.

"Now, I need to nap before my surgery because you have exhausted me so go away please. Dating doesn't allow sleepovers."

Arizona responded with an exaggerated gasp and gave Callie her best shocked face before getting up from the bed and throwing Callie's clothes on top of her, she blew her a kiss before unlocking the door and leaving the brunette to her nap. Callie was happy, rushing things would only end in heartbreak and at least this way things will always end in hot, jealous sex. Callie falls into a slumber with a smile on her face sure that after all this Arizona Robbins will end up being, dare she say it, her girlfriend.

Arizona decided to head home, it was her day off after all and she had only come in to check in on one of her patients. Walking to the parking lot she jumped in her car and headed straight back to her apartment, a nap and a nice hot bath is exactly what she needed.

Her conversation with Callie had left her feeling all kinds of emotions, she had been interested in her since the moment she met her and her feelings had only continued to grow since then so she understand Callie's intensity but she still felt thrown off by her behaviour. It had been a long time since she had felt this desirable, the look in Callie's eyes when she sees her makes her heart skip a beat and it terrified her.

She walked through her front door slipping off her heels and threw her coat over the nearest bar stool. She grabbed herself a drink from the fridge, pulled out her phone to call her bestfriend and slumped down onto the sofa putting her feet up on to the coffee table. After a couple of rings she heard a voice at the other end of the phone.

"Zo?"

"Hey Tim."

"Hey Zo. I've missed you! Why haven't I heard from you recently??"

Arizona couldn't help but grin, her brother always had a way of making her feel like everything was going to be okay.

"I'm having some woman trouble and I could use your help. It's been a while and I've caught the feels and I'm freaking out."

Tim started to chuckle.

"My baby sister, the lady killer, is asking me for advice. I'm flattered I really am, talk to me how can I help?"

"Stop calling me a lady killer it's creepy and weird. So you remember Callie, I think I mentioned her a few times the last few time's we've spoken?"

"Oh yes I remember, the hot Latina who breaks bones for a living?"

"Fixes bones but yes that's her. We slept together last night and it was amazing, the best sex I've ever had amazing and I-"

"You're freaking out, yes you said."

"I'm freaking out. She's so confident with how she feels, she has made it clear that she is interested in dating me and me only but I'm terrified. I haven't been in a relationship since Eliza and that woman broke me Tim."

Arizona had dated Eliza nearly a year ago for almost 6 months, they hadn't been together for long but their relationship had quickly turned to co-habiting. It was a whirlwind romance full of secrets and passion, but one day without a word Eliza left and Arizona hadn't seen her since. She was absolutely heartbroken and she had promised herself she would never get into that situation again.

"It's been a year Zo, you can't let her hold you back any longer. If you like this girl you need to go for it, you will regret it forever if you waste your time trying to keep her at a distance and push her away into someone else's arms. You are the bravest woman I have ever known, if Callie can see how worth it you are after one night then that's the kind of woman I want my little sister to be with!"

"Thanks Tim, I really needed to hear that, I will keep you updated and let you know what happens. Miss you, I need to come and visit you soon."

"Anytime, you know I will always pick up the phone when I see your name. I miss you too, you do need to come and visit me soon. Love you little sister, thank you for calling me."

"I love you big brother, speak soon."

She hung up the phone and scooted up the sofa so she was laying down, staring at the ceiling her thoughts drifted to Calliope. The friendship they had built up over the last 2 months had been making her excited to go to work every day to see her, and now that their relationship has turned sexual it's only making her more excited not because the sex is incredible, but because it's rare she finds someone who's mind excites her as almost as much as their body. Callie is so confident, she's strong and smart, there isn't anything Arizona has discovered about her that hasn't made her more attracted to her. She grabs her phone from the table feeling ready to reach out to her.

A: Hey, have been thinking about you and your horribly long day. Would you like to come over to mine tonight?

She placed her phone back down on the table and got up to grab herself some wine from the fridge, she wasn't expecting a response straight away as she was sure Callie was still in surgery but to her surprise her phone went off almost immediately.

C: Hi beautiful, ugh I wish I could but I promised Mark I would go for a drink with him tonight after work.

A: That's okay! Hopefully another time?

C: Definitely. See you at work tomorrow I hope!

Arizona read the message with disappointment, she didn't love that Callie was bestfriends with Mark Sloan but more than anything her disinterest took Arizona by surprise. She was sure after her jealous outburst this morning she would want to spend the night together again but no, not even an invitation to drinks tonight. Confused, Arizona decided to have that bath she had been thinking about since she woke and maybe think about making plans of her own.

Callie sat at the bar laughing with Mark and Derek after her long shift that day. She had managed to grab a few hours sleep here and there but starting off her day with an 8 hour surgery really did make it a struggle. Mark had to persuade her to come for one or two when she mentioned cancelling drinks with him but now she's out laughing with her friends she's relieved she said yes, all she's been able to think about for the last 24 hours is Arizona and it was nice to have her mind taken off the blonde for a few hours.

She had received a text from her earlier today inviting her over to her place and had much as it had pained her to say no, their conversation this morning had left her feeling like she needed to take a few steps back from Arizona. She wasn't normally so full on when it came to dating but Callie had taken a fancy to Arizona months ago and their full on work flirting had only made those feelings get stronger, but the blonde was right, their sexual relationship was new and it didn't need to be rushed plus Callie had never been in a relationship with a women before and the excitement of meeting someone she wanted that with had only spurred her on more.

"Torres, you're looking good tonight, how do you feel about taking this back to my place tonight like old times?"

Mark winked at her and held his glass up for a cheers. Callie just laughed and shook her head, she knew not to take her bestfriend seriously, his flirty banter was one of the things she loved about him in all honesty. He had a way of not making you feel awkward which most guys didn't possess.

"Is Meredith joining us Derek or is she working tonight?"

"No she's on the night shift, but I do believe my ex wife might be joining us. She is in town for a few days, she has a case at the hospital."

"Addison is coming??" Mark raised his voice. Addison and he had some history, it had all blown over now but Mark and Derek's friendship had suffered for a few years because of it. Callie had heard of Addison from Mark and Meredith but was yet to meet the mysterious woman herself.

"Yes Mark I'm surprised she hadn't mentioned it to you." Derek knew they still spoke occasionally.

He started to respond but Callie wasn't listening, she had just noticed a red head walk into the bar who she didn't recognise; she was tall, slighter taller than herself she guessed, dressed in leather pants and a long dark coat. Just as Callie started to admire her boots she realised they were walking closer to her, looking up she saw the hot red head was beelining for their table. Callie quickly looked away, pretending to be immersed in the men's conversation.

"Well, well who do we have here then." Addison interrupted, her hand resting on Derek's shoulder.

"Addison." Derek turned to kiss her on the cheek, Mark rose from his stool to pull her into an embrace.

"Addison what a wonderful surprise. Can I get you a drink?" Mark offered. Addison nodded in response and Mark turned to the bar to call to the tender.

"Hi, I'm Addison Montgomery. I don't believe we've been introduced, I'm not one to forget a beautiful face." Addison held out her hand for Callie which she quickly shook. The red head, who Callie now knew to be Derek's ex wife Addison, hadn't stopped staring at Callie since she walked over to the table.

"This is Callie Torres, she is an Ortho attending at the hospital." Derek introduced her.

"Lovely to meet you." Callie smiled, gesturing towards the seat next to her.

Addison took a seat and her and Derek fell into light conversation, Mark interjecting occasionally from the bar.

"So Callie, how long have you worked at Seattle Grace?" Addison turned her body towards her.

"Just over two months now."

"How are you finding it? I bet this one doesn't stop trying it on with you." Addison gestures towards Mark, who gave her a wink.

"Oh that's been and done Addison. Torres and I had fun but we decided to be friends since she is lady loving at the moment."

Callie gave Mark a smack across the table.

"Oh really? Callie seems very much out of your league Mark." Addison teased. Addison moved to place her hand on Callie's thigh, gave it a quick squeeze and removed it almost immediately.

"He couldn't keep up with me so I thought it best to be friends and not hurt his feelings." Callie winked as Mark gave her a pretend shocked face and they all broke into laughter. Callie turned to look at Addison who was very much giving her the eye, her straw was in her mouth and she refused to break eye contact with the Latina.

"If you'll excuse me I'm just going to use the bathroom." Callie stated before she left the table. Was Addison flirting with her? She couldn't say she was mad, the woman is god damn sexy. Arrival at the restroom her thoughts turned to Arizona. Last night they were in here making out and now.. No I can't think about her right now. She is the one who has made it clear we are casual and if a sexy red head wants to flirt with me tonight I'm not going to disappoint her.

Arizona entered the bar and searched the room for her friend. After Callie rejected her invitation earlier she had decided to reach out to her friend April to see if she wanted to grab a drink with her. As she looked around she spotted Mark and Derek at the bar, they were chatting to who she believed to be Addison Montgomery, Derek's ex wife but there was no sign of Callie. Maybe she was still at work and was yet to join them? Her thoughts interrupted by a hand waving at her from across the bar.

"Arizona! I've got us a bottle of wine." April pulled the blonde into a tight hug before sitting back down at the table. The two had become friends at the hospital when Arizona had gone through her breakup and they had grown close ever since.

"Wine is exactly what I need right now!"

Arizona took a seat opposite April, facing the bar. She grabbed the bottle and started to pour herself a drink, filling the glass almost to the top. As she takes a sip she notices her hot Ortho goddess exit the bathroom and join her friends at the bar. She takes a seat next to Addison, who places her hand on top of Callie's on the table. What? Since when do they know each other? More importantly why does she have her hand on Callie?Arizona pulled herself from her thoughts and focused on April's moving mouth. Addison Montgomery is not gay. It is nothing. She laughed out loud pretending to have been listening to April, she was given a strange look in response which indicated it wasn't a laughing matter. She turned back to look at the women and saw them laughing together, only focused on each other. She was about to get up and head over to say hello when she realised that wasn't part of their rules. She wanted to have a conversation with Callie about their situation but as far as the brunette was aware they were free to date. Convincing herself it was probably nothing she turned her attention back to April and using all her self control refused to look over at Callie.

Callie got up and stood at the bar, waiting to be served. She looked around the room and saw Arizona, sitting at the table with April. Callie hadn't expected to see her tonight but maybe it was a good thing she was here, maybe a flirty night with Addison was exactly what the blonde needed to see. Oh this is going to be fun.
