Previously on Giving into Temptation..

Arizona and Teddy continued to talk until she had to leave for surgery. She was hoping to bump in Callie on her way in to scrub so wanted to leave a couple of minutes earlier than she needed to. She rounded the corner and saw a familiar head of hair being pulled from a scrub cap, Arizona looked at her in awe. Fuck, I'm so in love.

Callie had just finished her Subacromial Decompression and she was feeling hungry, hungry for a particular blonde. Since they had begun dating they were spending every night at Callie's place, but the last few days had been hectic and she had barely seen her girlfriend since they had become official. She was aching for Arizona's touch, if she didn't spend the night with her tonight she didn't know what she would do, she needed a hit of her blonde and she needed it soon. Callie stepped out of the O.R and pulled off her scrub cap, running her fingers through her hair as she lifted lifted her head up. Immediately her eyes found Arizona's, the blonde was practically speed walking towards her, the biggest grin on her face. She took a few steps forward to close the gap between them, grabbing her tight and lifting her off her feet as she twirled her around. Arizona began to giggle, her fingers pushing back the brunette's locks to look deep into her eyes.

"I missed you," Arizona whispered as Calliope lowered her to her feet, planting a soft kiss on her lips.

"You have no idea how much I have missed you," Callie said as she bit on her bottom lip, pulling the blondes body closer to her. "Please tell me you are not going into surgery right now, I need to be alone with you, I'll even settle for 10 minutes." Callie's fingers toyed with the top of Arizona's scrub pants.

"As much as I would love to see what you do with 10 minutes, I'm walking into an O.R right this moment. Buttt.. I get off at 8 tonight, will I be seeing you?"

Callie cocked her eyebrow and licked her lips. "In that case Dr Robbins, I will see you later and I will make sure that you're getting off at no later than 8:10," she said with a wink before slapping the blonde's ass and heading off down the corridor.

Arizona moaned quietly at the thought of her evening with the brunette before reluctantly making her way to her O.R.

The elevator doors swung open and Callie stepped out into the cafeteria. It was bustling today, everyone had been working overtime due to the bus crash that had happened the day before, or was it the day before that? Callie had no idea what day it was now. She made her way to queue, she had already decided she was going to have pizza and fries since she had worked hard and deserved it, plus she needed to load up on carbs if she was going to give her girlfriend the night she deserved!

"Torres. Fancy seeing you here," Mark was a few places ahead of her in the queue but he left his spot to wait next to her.

"Hey Mark. I haven't seen you in a few days."

"I know you missed me Torres, it's okay to say it. I've been in New York, I had a consult."

"Hmm. A consult, huh? And did you by any chance run into a sexy redhead whilst you were there?"

They had reached the front of the queue and grabbed what they wanted from the buffet of food in front of them.

"I may have spent a few nights with Addison, yes. I can't help that the ladies can't get enough of me!" Mark handed the cashier enough for both of their food and they made their way over to a table.

"Mark you're scared of commitment. You're in love with Lexie, everyone can see it, I think the only person who hasn't realised that by now is Lexie." Lexie was Meredith's little sister, Derek was married to Meredith and Mark and Derek were bestfriends. Mark was in love with Lexie but was too scared to tell her because he didn't want to fall out with Derek, especially since he had slept with his ex wife whilst they were together and still does to this day apparently.

"Derek will kill me. Plus I don't even think she likes me, I think that she is just nice to everyone, even me."

Callie scoffed, "Mark she looks as you the same way you look at her. Ask. Her. Out."

Mark shook his head and tucked into his pizza, his mouth full, "How's things with blondie?"

"You're disgusting. Arizona is perfect, she asked me to be her girlfriend. We are official," Callie beamed. She loved telling people, she felt so lucky and wanted everyone to know it.

"Wow, congrats! You know I was worried you guys had finished things when I saw her flirting with some hot blonde at the coffee cart earlier, but you're the real deal that's great Torres," Mark said as he continued to sexily shovel food into his mouth.

"Wait, what did you just say?" Callie said pulling his plate away from him.

"Blondie and some other blondie, they were chatting at the coffee cart."

"Chatting or flirting? You just said flirting."

"Nah I was just seeing what I wanted to see. They were just talking Callie," Mark placed his hand on mine, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "Anyway I have to go, I've got a surgery," and before she knew it he was gone, the mess of a tornado left behind him.

Mark was just being Mark, right? He saw Arizona talking to a woman and couldn't keep his head out of the gutter. Yes, that must be it, he's disgusting and months of friendship have definitely confirmed that.

Just as Callie finished her food her pager went off, trauma in the E.R. If this ruins my date plans...

Arizona made her way to the Peds floor after her surgery, she found Avery already waiting for her with their encephalocele patient.

"Dr Robbins, we were just getting started," Avery said as Arizona stepped into the room. It was only then that she noticed the blonde doctor standing next to him, stopping her dead in her tracks.

"Arizona," Lauren said with a smile.

"Oh you guys know eachother?" Avery said.

"No," Arizona replied

"Yes," Lauren replied at the same time.

"I-um- we met, we met briefly," Arizona corrected herself.

"We had coffee," Lauren continued.

Arizona gave her a strange look. They had coffee? They didn't have coffee? They had an awkward interaction at the coffee cart.

"Lauren is the Craniofacial specialist we flew in to help with Tyler's case," Avery said, oblivious to the tension.

"You're Dr Boswell?" Arizona asked.

"Yeah, how about this guy? Brain on the outside, that can't be comfortable," she replied.

"Well, w-welcome, we're glad to have you," Arizona said awkwardly. Why am I being so weird.

"Are you kidding? I mean the combination of encephalocele and facial cleft.. surgeons go their whole career without seeing one of these so, I'm thrilled to be here," Lauren spoke confidently.

Arizona laughed awkwardly in response. "Umm, what's your approach?" she asked, her tone now more serious.

"Umm, I'd like to get a couple more scans before I commit to anything," Lauren said with a smile and a slight twinkle in her eye.

"Okay go ahead," Arizona replied before Lauren made her way out of the room. "We can talk strategy later," she said as she turned to face Lauren.

"I look forward to that," Lauren replied quickly, taking a moment to hold eye contact with Arizona before leaving.

"Can't believe we got her huh, she's a rockstar," Avery broke the silence, Arizona had forgotten he was there.

"Yeah, she seems.. competent."

Arizona was confused after the interaction. Lauren was definitely interested in her, she knew that now for sure, but she was being incredibly bold for someone who knew nothing about her. She checked her watch and saw that it was almost 8 so she headed to the attendings lounge to change and wait for Calliope to get out of the surgery that she had seen written on the board. When she got to the lounge she pulled out her phone and saw a message waiting for her from Callie, which left her smiling at her phone for a split second before reading the message.

C: Going to be in surgery longer than I hoped, I'm sorry. Please grab my keys from my coat pocket and let yourself in, there's wine in the fridge, help yourself to whatever you want xxx

Although disappointed she decided not to let it bother her, it wasn't like she was cancelling she was just going to be a bit late. Plus this gave her the opportunity to get herself ready, look and feel her best for when Calliope gets home. She searched for Callie's coat in the closet and slid her finger into the pockets to find her keys before grabbing her own coat and bag, making her way out and down to the elevator. She pressed the button, smiling at the mere thought of her girlfriend, the elevator dinged and the doors opened to reveal none other than Dr Boswell.

"Hey," Lauren said with a smile, "I was hoping I'd run into you again today."

Arizona gave her an awkward smile as she entered the elevator, pressing the button for her floor before turning with her back to her.

"Has there been a change in Tyler's surgery?" she asked, hopeful to keep their conversation professional.

"No."

There was a pause as Lauren's eyes drilled into the back of Arizona's head. She licked her lips before she spoke again.

"People tell you all the time that you have really pretty eyes? What are they hazel? Blue?" she finished with a slight chuckle.

Arizona closed her eyes in annoyance.

"I have a girlfriend. She's in Ortho, Callie Torres. Brunette, hot, and talk about eyes.. hers are magical. I have a girlfriend and frankly your behaviour has been inappropriate. We are working together on an important case and I'm too busy being distracted by your flirting to be able to focus," Arizona turned to face Lauren.

"Oh so I distract you, huh?"

"No Lauren, you irritate me. I just told you I'm in a relationship, and considering you don't know me at all this is unacceptable-"

"Do you know how many Arizona Robbins there are on the internet?" The elevator dung and Lauren made a move to step out, lifting a single finger as she did. She looked at Arizona as she passed, a smirk on her lips before she walked away.

Arizona turned, her anger now rising. How inappropriate does this woman need to be. I have shown her no interest, have told her that I am in a relationship and still she finds it necessary to flirt with me.

Arizona stepped out of the elevator moments later, leaving the hospital and making her way over to Callie's apartment. She needed to tell her what had happened, she felt uncomfortable at the idea of her not knowing so she decided she would have a nice shower, open a bottle of wine and wait for Calliope to get home so she could tell her all about the annoying doctor and then have lots of sex with her beautiful, brown eyed girlfriend.
