Training
When Cat runs it's almost impossible to catch him unless he wants to be caught. Batman is right behind him, trying to keep up.
For Batman this game of cat and mouse is about training and expertise, an outlet he needs – and strangely – it pleases him, makes him relax and forget.
They stop, and exchange punches, kicks, all their dirty tricks, and there is some blood and pain – but not too much – and it stops, Cat pinned to the ground under him.
"We'll do it again tomorrow," Batman says.
"So, little bat… Is this your way of asking me out?"
For once, Batman is speechless. Or just doesn't answer, or doesn't even care, letting his prey go.
"Yeah, I guess it is," Terry answers, resting on his bed and staring at the ceiling. "I guess it is," he repeats, smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
