Previously on Giving Into Temptation..
"Arizona," Callie whispered. Arizona slowly pulled out her fingers, a whimper emitting from Callie's lips as she did so. She lifted her body up into the brunette and moved up to plant a kiss on her lips. "Arizona, I love you."
Arizona beamed at Callie, her eyes shining bright before she playfully hit her chest. "No! I wanted to say it first!" Callie smiled back at her, pulling her in for another kiss.
"I love you too Calliope."
"Baby, I want to talk to you about something but I'm a bit worried to do so," Callie said nervously. The two women had been laying in a comfortable silence since they had awoken a little while ago, Arizona had been drawing circles on Callie's stomach for the last 10 minutes but her movements haltered at the statement.
Arizona lifted her head to look at Callie, worry evident in her eyes. "What is it beautiful?"
Callie slid her fingers between her girlfriends and gave her hand a quick squeeze before she brought it to her lips, she was also nervous to have this conversation because it was possible it could get confrontational and Callie didn't want them to fight. "When I went to find Lauren at the hospital I asked Michelle where she was and she told me that you had taken her to the on call room."
Arizona scowled, her eyes crinkled as her brain went over the previous night in her head. "She asked me to show her where the on call room was, so I did," Arizona said quietly. Her eyes struggled to meet Callie's, she had struggled to sleep last night as her guilt had become overwhelming. She felt terrible about the Lauren situation, she knew that she put Callie in an uncomfortable situation.
"I understand, I just.. I feel like because of how inappropriate she had been with you maybe.. I feel like showing her to an on call room probably wasn't the best idea.." Callie continued holding onto Arizona's hand, she didn't want the blonde to feel attacked but she did want to be honest and wanted to feel better about what had happened last night.
"No, I get that. Honestly I have no excuse, I shouldn't have done it and looking back now I can see that it would make you feel uncomfortable. It was my fault that she tried to kiss me, I should not have put myself in that situation and I am very sorry," Arizona got up into a seated position so that her and Callie were eye to eye.
"No babe, it wasn't your fault that she tried to kiss you, you had made it clear that her advances were unwanted and she continued to persist. I know that you're a kind, friendly princess and you wanted to keep things professional with her.. but in future please do just have me at the forefront of your mind when you're around women who have the hots for you," Callie smiled.
Arizona pulled her in for a soft, sweet kiss which she followed up with a few smaller kisses. "I completely understand. I'm sorry that my actions caused you stress and sadness, I promise in the future I will act accordingly. I love you."
A grin formed on Callie's lips and she crashed them against her girlfriends. "I love you." Their lips pressed together. "I love you." Callie slid her tongue along Arizona's bottom lip. "I love you." Dragging her lip between her teeth and biting down hard.
"Ow!" Arizona cried out, slipping her tongue out to taste blood on her lips. "Vampire girlfriend!"
Callie pulled her back in and ran her tongue along her lips, tasting the blood. "Mmm, I likey." Arizona pushed her off and scampered away, Callie quickly followed chasing her through the apartment causing Arizona to giggle. "Gimme another taste," Callie grabbed her, whispering in her ear before she lightly bit down on her neck causing the blonde to release a low moan.
"Mmm lets go shower, we need to get cleaned up before work," Arizona groaned.
Callie ran her tongue up her neck and sucked on her lobe. "I'm down to get cleaned up as long as we can get dirty first," she said pulling Arizona into the bathroom.
"Torres, I miss you. When do I get to see you outside of work?" Callie had met Mark at the coffee cart outside before they headed into work. Arizona had been paged whilst they were in the shower so she had left in a rush which had left Callie feeling disappointed.
"Mark I see you all the time," Callie chuckled.
"You see me all the time at work, I mean hang out. You know, like friends do," Mark passed Callie her coffee before they headed into the hospital.
"Since when did you get so needy Mark?"
"I need help with Lexie. I love her Torres, I need your help," Mark said desperately.
"Okay well why don't I come over to yours tonight and we can have bestfriend evening? Arizona has a surgery so I'm all yours."
"Deal!" Mark said with a grin.
The elevator dinged and the doors opened revealing the one and only Dr Boswell inside. Callie scowled at her as she entered.
"Dr Boswell," Mark greeted her.
"Dr Sloan," she smiled back.
They stood in uncomfortable silence. The doors opened at their level and they all got off, thankfully Lauren left in the opposite direction.
"What was that all about?" Mark smirked at her.
"She tried to kiss Arizona," Callie revealed.
"She what? They kissed?"
"No, she tried to but Arizona stopped her."
"Good girl Arizona."
"Mmm," Callie replied.
Mark looked at her, confused. "Torres, am I missing something here?"
"I'm just so annoyed that it happened. Some random woman has a crush on my girlfriend and that's annoying. She is MY girlfriend, that should mean something. I feel like it wouldn't hurt so much if it was a man, but women should know better," Callie hadn't let herself feel her anger but now it was hitting her like a train.
"You want me to make her fall in love with me and then I'll break her heart?" Mark said in all seriousness.
"No Mark, she's gay. But I love you for caring."
Mark pulled her in for a hug and held her tight. "You are my #1 Torres, don't ever forget it."
Callie laughed. "I'm perfectly happy to be #2 next to Lexie."
