Here we are again! Glad to see people are still reading this. Sorry for making you all wait, but here we are again with another chapter. I have noticed that I have been a little sloppy in the way I structure things, so from here on out I will be having a stricter editing process. This may result in slower releases, but I'd say the quality is better than the quantity. Always remember that I own none of this if you want to support a majority of the ideas then support the original creators.
Chapter 3- What can you do?
In a monitoring room many of the UA staff were commenting on the results of the exam. The topics of interest were the top two on the leaderboard. In second place was a boy who managed 77 villain points, but not a single rescue point. That kind of combative ability demanded praise. The other was the number one winner, the one who managed 118 points total, Izuku Midoriya, the boy with the incredible monster quirk.
Destroying a zero-pointer wasn't unheard of, but seeing it go down in a mess of ice, fire, and high winds was new. The most baffling part is that there could be more. They only saw three of the boy's monsters, but already some got it in their minds that there were more of these monsters. Just what was the limit?
That question in particular excited one of them to the point he began to laugh in wonder like a child who got to pick a new toy. On the other hand one particularly tired looking man stared at the screen. All the while he could already feel the headaches from the trouble the boy could cause.
*A day later...*
In Aldera Junior High congratulations were being given in a teachers office to both Bakugo and Midoriya."It's incredible to think that not one, but two students from our school are heading off to UA! Then again I suppose it shouldn't be much of a surprise for the two of you."
The two students stood next to each other, Bakugo was relaxed while Midoriya was clearly nervous. They had both pulled off something amazing, but one of them still felt cheated.
When they had both gotten outside Bakugo slammed the other boy to the wall and grabbed him by the collar. "Dammit Deku! Do you have any idea what you just did?! I was supposed to be number one, but you used those stupid "rescue points" to get ahead"! It was clear that Bakugo didn't care for those, and if anything was treating them like some way to cheat.
He stopped yelling though when Izuku grabbed his arms. "Kacchan, you said it best. You can't stop me." His voice was determined, and even though his eyes were shaky they were filled with the same conviction. "And it doesn't matter what spot I got. I'm going, and I'll make it through whether you want me to or not."
In this moment Izuku was trying his hardest to take what his friends had told him to heart. This was his moment to stand up for himself. He wouldn't let himself be as extreme as Guilmon would like, but he was doing his best. And as the moment came it felt as if it had gone by in a flash. Bakugo seemed to have lost interest, or maybe he was too irritated to respond, or maybe it was both. Either way Izuku was proud, and his friends even more so.
*A few days later...*
It was now April, and the first day of school at UA. Izuku was currently tying his shoes in preparation to head out.
His mother was right behind, and was busy being his mother. "Izuku. Do you have everything?"
Izuku responded with a nod. "Yeah I do."
Inko was still gonna make extra sure. "Are you sure? You didn't just pack action figures right?"
That comment made Guilmon, Veemon, and Impmon snicker.
Izuku looked up to his mother. "I have everything" He then began to get up, grabbing his back pack as he did "Now I gotta go. I don't want to be late."
Inko then called to him. Izuku groaned as he turned to see what it was. Inko's face was serious, it seemed what she was about to say was important. "Make sure your friends really keep quiet. This is special and I know how badly you want this."
Izuku was a little shocked, and then he felt his phone buzz. He took it out of his pocket and the voice that came out was Dorumon's. "Don't worry mam, we know what you mean. Rest assured that we're gonna help Izuku because he isn't the only one who wants this." This was something the others could agree with. Years with Izuku had given them all the same want to help people.
Inko's face softened and Izuku began to make his way outside again. Then Inko called to him one last time. This was starting to get tiring, and Izuku turned one last time. What he saw got him by surprise.
Inko had a soft smile with tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "I'm so proud of you, and I know that you can do it."
Izuku couldn't stop the smile that grew on his face. "Yeah, I'll see you soon."
With that he left. Now was the beginning of his high school career. As he walked he felt the buzzing of his phone again, and he took it out in response.
On the other side was Gabumon with a question. "Sir, what happened to that thing you've been working on? I thought you'd take it with you."
That's when Izuku remembered what he had been doing the past few days. "I still need to finish up on some parts. Also it's the first day, I don't think I'll need it." He explained
Agumon then appeared on the screen. "Oh, ok. Still, we can't wait to see it." He complimented.
Izuku then nodded his head, and put away his phone. He kept himself going with great motivation. He could feel his dream realizing before him, and it carried him to UA.
The acceptance rate for the hero course had been as small as it always had been. One in three hundred. Four would be there through recommendations, and thirty-six made it in through the regular exam. They were split into two classes of 20 each. Now when Izuku arrived he was running down the hall to find his class room.
The place was huge so it made sense he'd be struggling a bit. "Class 1-A...1-A. Where is it?" When he found it he was intimidated by the sheer size of the door. It was so tall it almost touched the ceiling. "Man, this thing is huge. Are there giants in here?" A question he'd rather not ponder on.
Now a realization set in. The most promising students in the country were waiting behind that door. He just hoped they weren't Bakugo or that tall kid from the entrance exam. He hoped strongly that they were in different classes. Maybe everyone in there would be nice. His hopes would be dashed away as soon as he opened the door.
"Take your feet off that desk now!" Yelled out the accusatory tall boy with his short hair and glasses to match.
Bakugo sneered at him. "Huh?" He asked in an exaggerated tone.
The boy then continued to scold him. "It's the first day and you're already being highly disrespectful to us and this academy."
Bakugo then continued with his loud tone. "You're kidding me right? Your old school put a stick up your ass? Or were you born with it?"
Izuku didn't know how to react to what he saw. Just his luck.
The tall boy then decided to move on. He was now trying to be a little more mature about the situation. "Let's start over. I'm Tenya Iida from Somei Private Academy." It was obvious how well mannered he could be by how straight he stood and how he introduced himself.
Bakugo wasn't gonna humor him though. "Somei, huh? So you must think you're better than me. I'm gonna have fun tearin' you a new one."
Iida responded with shock and some level of dramatics with a gasp before his sentence. "You would threaten me? Your own classmate? Are you sure you're in the right place?"
Bakugo scoffed as he looked away. That's when he noticed Midoriya standing at the doorway.
Iida followed his gaze to Midoriya curios. "It's him."
When he said that, many of the students who had sat down looked at him which made Izuku very nervous.
He began to sweat and plush a bit at all the looks. "Uh, hi." Was all he could manage, as he failed to maintain eye contact.
Iida then began to approach him, greeting him good morning and starting to introduce himself again. He stopped when Midoriya said that he already knew who he was.
He then decided to introduce himself. "I'm Izuku Midoriya. It's super nice to meet you."
Iida then stopped, and what he said next really did make him look dramatic. "Midoriya. You realized that there was more to the practical exam, didn't you?" Izuku was caught off guard when he heard that. "You must be very perceptive. I completely misjudged you. With that and your incredible ability, I admit that as a student, you're far superior to me"
Izuku sweat dropped. 'I find that hard to believe.'
From behind he heard a familiar female voice. "Hey! I recognize that messed-up hair anywhere. Monster boy!"
When Izuku turned around he gasped at the sight of the brunette girl.
As he silently freaked out the girl continued. "It's good to see you again. Though I'm not surprised, those monsters were super cool!"
Izuku then attempted to cover his blushing face. "Oh, hey, hi! Oh my gosh! So, uh, I should probably be thanking you for making sure I didn't fall over."
The girl then responded in mild surprise. "You thank me? You're the one who saved me, it should be me thanking you."
Izuku only became more nervous, and his stutter became worse. "Oh I- Um- What?" He really didn't know what he was saying at this point.
In the classroom all Bakugo could think about was how he was gonna destroy Midoriya. He didn't deserve to be here like he was.
The brunette then began to talk about curiosities like what they'd be doing and what their teachers were gonna be like. She was cut off when a tired voice spoke from behind.
"If you're here just to make friends then you can pack up your stuff now."
Everyone turned to look at the source and silent shock took them all. It was large, and yellow, and shaped like a caterpillar. The difference being that it had the face of a man with long black hair and stubble. The man in question looked so tired he might as well be dead.
He then continued to speak. "Welcome to UA's hero course." From inside of what can now be made out to be a sleeping bag, he pulled out a juice bag and took a sip.
The three at the door were slap jawed. There was a mix of shock, discomfort, and dread, as they all pondered one question. 'What is that thing'
The man then got up and fully unzipped his sleeping bag revealing himself. He wore all black with the exception being his gray scarf. "It took eight seconds for you all to shut up. That's not gonna work. Time is precious. Rational students would understand that." He scolded in his tired tone.
Now the question was who was he? This came most as a shock to Midoriya. If that man was here then he'd be a pro and Izuku knew about all kinds of pros. Then again, the man was so worn out he could be mistaken for a homeless man.
The man then introduced himself to the class. "Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa. Your teacher."
There was a collective gasp. No one really knew how to process the fact that this man would be their teacher. Aizawa would waste no time though.
"Right, let's get to it." He then reached into his sleeping bag and pulled out a gym uniform. "Put these on and head outside." Everyone else was still questioning the situation.
This was how UA operated. It wasn't bound by the normal academic path. Which meant that if you ended up with the wrong homeroom teacher then life could be simplified to one word. Hell.
Outside in an open filled two grand questions could be heard, as they were echoed by almost the entirety of class 1-A. "What?! A Quirk assessment test?!"
The brunette then spoke out with her own thoughts. "But orientation! We're gonna miss it!"
Aizawa then spoke back with his logic. "If you really wanna make it to the big leagues, then you don't have time for pointless ceremonies."
Now he had everyone's attention, so he elaborated to the students. "Here at UA we're not tethered to traditions. That means that I get to run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardized tests most of your lives. But you never got to use your Quirks in physical exams before." He then let out an irritated sigh. "The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day, the Ministry of Education will learn" He then turned to look at Izuku. "Midoriya, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam."
Izuku then tensed up at being called out. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't intimidated by his teacher.
Aizawa then continued with a question. "What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in junior high?"
Izuku then thought back on that, and answered. "Oh-uhm, I think it was about forty-six meters."
Aizawa then told him what would come next. "Right. Try doing it with your Quirk."
Izuku was then given a softball and directed towards a circle drawn onto the ground. On one side panels to measure distance were also drawn onto the ground.
Aizawa then gave his instructions. "Anything goes, just stay in the circle."
Midoriya nodded, but before he could do anything Aizawa continued. "And Midoriya, I don't want you using some weaker power. I want you to try your hardest."
Izuku tensed up again, and whispers began to grow throughout the class. Only some of them had seen what Midoriya could do, and no one really knew the limits.
Midoriya's face grew serious. He was asked specifically to do his best, and he didn't want to disappoint. He brought his phone from his pocket, and stared into it. He then looked around at the circle, and remembered the only other rule he had been given. He didn't want to leave anything to chance, so he made his choice.
Izuku brought his phone in front of him, an action that confused many, but what would happen next would bring their confusion to a new level. Izuku spoke for his chosen knight. "Agumon."
His phone then shined, as a beam of light flew out of it and landed in front of him. Many were shocked by this, the guy pulled out a tiny dinosaur from his phone, and he wasn't done yet. "Alright Agumon you heard him, let's give it everything."
Agumon nodded and smiled. "Right." He was then engulfed by orange light. "Agumon warp digivolve to..." Everyone watched as he grew and changed in the light of his evolution in aw. "WarGreymon!"
Those who had seen this guy knew of some things they could expect like fire, tiny suns, flight, and tornados. Those who didn't were left stunned, especially one boy in particular. The boy looked mostly normal besides the fact that he had a bird's head. The boy wasn't sure, but the presence of the monster was something he could connect to in a way. Aizawa half expected this one. It bore into the zero-pointer after all, so it's bound to be strong.
Izuku then came up to WarGreymon. "Alright if you're gonna throw this then maybe it's a good idea to drop those." He pointed to the dragon-man's gauntlets.
WarGreymon nodded and stabbed the gauntlets into the ground, he then pulled out his hands. They weren't too different from a human's hands besides the orange color and claw like nails. He then took the ball from Izuku. "How much force?"
Izuku nodded. "As much as I can handle."
WarGreymon then gave a small growl, and began to hover off the ground. He then began to spin in place. He began to spin so quickly that he was surrounded by a cone of wind and fire. "Great Tornado!"
Izuku was having some trouble keeping himself standing from the wind. He then pointed towards the direction of the panels. "Now!"
With a primal scream WarGreymon directed his strength towards launching the ball. The ball itself was sent flying in a wave of wind and heat. The class looked on in aw.
Aizawa then began explaining the purpose of the test while the ball flew. "All of you need to know your maximum capabilities." Once it landed his device beeped. He then turned around and continued. "It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro hero." He then showed the class the screen, and the number they saw left them baffled.
The number that had appeared was 801.7 meters.
The class gave a collective gasp at that.
One boy with gold hair and a black streak that resembled a lightning bolt offered his thought. "Woah! First the little dino turns into a guy, then he gets 801 meters. You've got to be kidding."
A pink girl, in both hair and skin, gave out her own thoughts. "Wow, that thing is so cool! Now I wanna go! That looks like fun!"
A boy with black slicked hair and strange elbows continued the momentum. "He sure is impressive. And this is what I'm talkin' about, usin' our Quirks as much as we want."
Aizawa then broke in with his usual tiered voice. "So this looks fun, huh?" That seemed to grab everyone's attention, so he continued. "You have three years to become heroes. You think it's all gonna be games and play time?. He then grew a devious smirk. "Idiots. Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. If it is revealed that you don't have any then you'll be expelled immediately."
This shocked everyone. Expelled? On the first day? They all thought this guy was crazy.
Izuku was scared to hear that. He didn't know how to process it. He began shaking where he stood. Then he saw the shadow of WarGreymon come from behind him. He looked up at the dragon-man. WarGreymon looked down with determined eyes. When Izuku saw this and his fear began to melt away. That's right, he isn't alone he has his friends, he has what makes him stronger. His eyes looked just as determined, as he gave a nod to his friend.
Aizawa then continued. "Remember, I get to decide how this class runs. Understand? If that's a problem, you can head home right now.
Determined looks spread throughout the class, as they readied themselves for what was to come.
That was until the brunette spoke out with her opinion on the matter. "You can't send one of us home! I mean, we just got here! Even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair."
Aizawa then shot back with his logic. "Oh, and you think natural disasters are fair?" That made her pause. "Or power-hungry villains? Hm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities?" His next word had a little more power behind it. "No, the world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you wanna be a pro, you're gonna have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, UA will throw one terrible hardship after another. So, you'll have to go beyond. Plus Ultra-style." His smirk then returned as he made an approaching motion with his finger. "Show me that it wasn't a mistake you got in."
Once more students began to prepare themselves.
Aizawa then called them to action. He declared that the games begin.
First up was the fifty meter dash, and the first to go was Iida and a girl with long green hair. When they heard the gunshot, engines on Iida's legs roared to life and boosted him forward, getting him 3.04 seconds. The girl had hopped like a frog through the track and got 5.58 seconds.
Next was the brunette girl and a blond boy with a thick tail. The boy used his tail like a spring and got 5.49 seconds, while the brunette only got 7.15 seconds. She was happy though since that was faster than what she got in junior high.
Next was the pink girl and another blond who sparkled? He had a large belt strapped to his stomach and decided to turn around facing the opposite direction of the tract, all while saying something about panache. When the gunshot was heard he jumped and a laser shot out of the belt propelling him forward. That only lasted for about a second, as it then dissipated and he fell to the floor. He then got himself back up to shoot it again. He only got 5.51 seconds. He talked about how shooting his beam for too long hurts his tummy. Four other students including the pink girl then wrote him off as a tool.
Next up was Izuku and Bakugo. To the surprise of many the dragon-man didn't return. Instead Gabumon came and warp digivolved into MetalGarurumon. This shocked many of the students, not only could the boy summon one, but he can make two monsters. Izuku then got on top of the mechanized wolf, and when the gun shot was heard his metal wings shined with thrust, and the engines on the bottom of his legs pushed forward. Bakugo used his quirk by thrusting his hands behind him and blasting out explosions. Izuku and MetalGarurumon got an impressive 3.25 seconds while Bakugo got 4.13 seconds.
Bakugo scoffed at the score. He got his, but Izuku was still relying on others, and that pissed him off.
Seven more tests to go, and next up was the grip strength.
Izuku once more called for WarGreymon's help. With that they managed an impressive score of 674 kilograms. The only one who had gotten close was a boy with six arms who used three of them to get 540 kilograms.
While he was out some of the students began to surround WarGreymon. The kid with the strange elbows talked about how crazy strong that is and a boy with spiked red hair kept talking about how manly WarGreymon looked.
The next test was the standing long jump which was managed rather easily by the laser boy, Bakugo, and Izuku who used MetalGarurumon to fly through. MetalGarurumon was able to escape the attention of the students by quickly returning to Izuku's phone.
Next was the repeated side steps. This one was hard since Izuku couldn't really call on anyone to help with this one. What was impressive was when one very short student used the balls that came from his head to bounce left and right by placing several of them on the ground.
Now was time for everyone else to do the ball throw. When it came time for the brunette girl to throw the ball it went into the air and never came back down. It just kept going. To everyone's shock Aizawa's machine read it as infinity. It really did just keep going.
Now it was Bakugo's turn. It was his time to really show everyone how much better he is compared to Deku. So he firmly grasped the ball, and moved to throw it with all his might. "Die!" The ball wasn't just thrown, it was launched by the explosion Bakugo created. In the end it only landed 755.4 meters.
This enraged Bakugo. This was supposed to be his chance to really show up those stupid monsters. He glared at Izuku with rage-filled eyes. He wanted so badly a chance to show everyone that he was the best, but he couldn't risk his chances at UA, so for now he'll have to wait.
Next were the sit-ups and seated toe-touch test. Both were hard for Izuku since he couldn't really use his quirk in either.
The final test was the long-distance run. Izuku pulled out Gabumon and had him digivolve into a giant wolf with light blue fur, a white underside, dark blue tiger stripes, magenta claws, dark blue-tipped blades on his back, and a very curly tail. This was Garurumon. Since this run was more about endurance, greater speed wasn't needed. Instead Izuku just needed to last longer.
Now that it was all over Aizawa revealed that he had ranked them all best to worst, and just decided to pull up the whole list in a hologram.
Izuku breathed out a sigh of relief when he saw that he had landed in fifth place.
Bakugo grinned in delight when he saw that he was in third place.
Last place was a boy named Minoru Mineta, the boy was very short with purple hair that clumped together like four giant grapes. He was paralyzed in horror. He had just gotten here, and now he was gonna get kicked out.
Aizawa then put the hologram away. "By the way, no one's going home." The class then froze in stunned silence. Aizawa then pulled out his strange smile "I just said that to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."
The shock of the class rang out. The only one who didn't seem shocked was a girl with long black hair tied in a very spiky ponytail.
Aizawa then told the class to go back to the classroom to grab a syllabus. He then walked away.
As he walked he walked passed a large man with a big smile. Neither of them said anything, and one of them didn't care.
All Might held some suspicions, but this wavered them slightly. The way these ones change is different from the others. Still the similarities were there. Coming out of an unorthodox object, the power boost from transforming, their questionable sentience. It may have all been coincidence, but if it wasn't then that would mean one of two things. Either UA had a villain in the making or a boy has had his soul sold to the devil. All Might would have to keep a close eye on him. 'Who are you, Izuku Midorya?'
Back with the class as they collected the syllabuses from the class the focus was all on Izuku, and his crazy monsters. Most of the class had only seen two of them, so naturally guesses on how many the boy could call forth came around. Then the more unorthodox questions came with introductions.
The pink girl came up to Izuku with more enthusiasm than he could handle. "Hey! Midoriya right? I'm Mina Ashido, and I wanna know if you have a cute pink monster you can summon."
Izuku stammered a bit from being approached by a girl, but it calmed down slightly when he was asked about his quirk. "Um. No, not really. Closest thing one of them has to pink is red." He said that thinking of Guilmon.
Before Mina could respond the boy with spiky red hair appeared with his own question. "Yo Midoriya! I'm Ejiro Kirishima, and I've gotta know something. Which of your monsters would you say is the manliest?"
Izuku once more jumped at the sudden appearance of another person. He stammered out an answer. "Oh. Well-uhm-I've never really thought of that."
Then the boy with a weird elbow bumped in. "Hey you. I'm Hanta Sero. I got a question about your Quirk. Like how many monsters do you have."
There's no way Izuku was gonna get used to this. "Well right now the official count is six." A number that impressed the people who heard it.
This was how it went for a while. People were naturally curious. Izuku just wasn't comfortable being the thing everyone was curious about. So he breathed out relieved that he was walking to the school gate on his own. It seems talking to all those people left him exhausted. No, that wasn't it. That's when he realized that throughout the entire exam Izuku had been using Mega levels for the majority of it, and they ate up his stamina fast. He stopped walking though when he felt a hand on his shoulder. When he turned he snapped awake. "Oh. Hey there Iida!"
Iida then looked at the now tired eyes of the shorter student. "Are you feeling alright?"
Izuku then realized that his condition must be obvious. "Uh, yeah. I'm just tired. It's what happens when I go too hard with my Quirk for too long."
Iida nodded, and the two began to walk together. Iida then began to comment about how he felt towards Aizawa's teaching methods, showing slight disapproval.
Before they could get to the school gate though they heard a voice call out to them. "Hey! Wait up you two!" When the two boys turned around they saw that it was the brunette girl again. "Are you two going to the station? I'll join you guys!"
Iida then responded in remembrance. "Oh, you're the infinity girl."
The girl then stopped to introduce herself. "I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Hm." She turned her head to face Iida. "You are Tenya Iida." She then looked to Izuku. "And your name is Izuku Midoriya, right? I think I saw that as your name on the list earlier."
Izuku then took a step back. "Oh, yeah that's right. Well it's nice to meet you."
Uraraka nodded, and they all continued to walk until they made it to the gate of the school. When they made it they saw that one of their classmates was just standing there. They knew he was a classmate because he had the head of a bird.
The boy then saw the group, and his eyes focused on Izuku.
That caused Izuku to jump in place. The stoic look that guy had felt like it stared into his soul.
The student then began to approach the group. "Midoriya, I have a question."
That gave Izuku some comfort. Throughout the afternoon all he was really doing was answering dumb questions, so this shouldn't be too difficult. He wasn't prepared for the question.
"Are they alive?" The boy asked. His demeanor was unchanging, but the question seemed important to him.
Izuku was a little shocked and both Iida, and Uraraka looked at him curious as to what his answer would be. This was clearly about Izuku's strange friends, and he had actually thought about this before. "Well technically they're just compiled data that I can give physical form too. But they feel things. They feel emotions the same way we do, and I think that's enough. Enough to say, yes they are alive."
The reaction was varied. Iida thought it was interesting, Uraraka thought it was nice, and the other boy nodded.
He then began to speak. "I see. Well then, I suppose we have something in common."
The three were a little confused by that and more so when a shadow monster appeared out of his stomach. The monster itself was like a bird mixed into a slime made of shadows. "Hey there, party people."
Though the other two were surprised by its ability to speak, Izuku's eyes seemed to be filled with excitement. "Oh wow. You have a sentient quirk too?"
The boy nodded. "Yes, this is Dark Shadow."
Dark Shadow then turned to the boy. "Fumi, did you forget to introduce yourself too? What poor manners you have." It said teasing.
The boy's expression still didn't change. "Hm, he's right. I apologize. I am Fumikage Tokoyami."
Izuku then gave a small smile. "Oh well it's nice to meet you, Tokoyami."
Iida then came in thinking that he and Uraraka should say something. "Nice to make your acquaintance, I am Tenya Iida from Somei Privet Academy."
Uraraka then gave a small wave. "And I'm Ochaco Uraraka."
Tokoyami nodded at the two. "Yes, it is nice to meet you as well."
Dark Shadow then spoke out. "Yep. Now say Midoriya, have you got any bird monsters?" The quirk asked in an obvious tease.
It seemed like Izuku was back to square one, but still now Izuku had three friends to walk with to the station with, and it was nice. Iida seemed really smart, Uraraka was nice, and Tokoyami was probably the first person ever to really relate to him. They both had living quirks that could do so much. It seemed nice and impressive, but the two knew about how stressful it could be at times. Now Izuku knew that he could probably get used to having friends that weren't confined to his phone. Even better, all of them had survived their first days of high school, and they needed rest because tomorrow would pull no punches.
Hey everyone, sorry this took so long. I was feeling really slow for a while. Anyway, Christmas is coming! For those who celebrate it merry Christmas, but for those who don't happy holidays. Also I'd like to say that when Izuku stood up to Bakugo the digimon were basically doing the "Mission Status: Sick" meme. Now as you can see I have begun to load the Chekhov's gun, and I hope you find my aim to be accurate. Now like I said chapters are gonna go through a stricter editing process from now on, but more importantly chapters are gonna start getting longer because the story is picking up. I hope you all don't mind. Now interesting stuff I'd like to address from the reviews.
First I'd like to address something unkown1124 brought up. I'm not gunna put in the review because it is way to long. I just want to say that digimon in this world work very differently. Really there is a huge disconnect between them here and in their canon
barnesscott231: "why didn't you make wargreymon big like in the remake?" Well because I'd like to be able to manage the character. Heck I even sized down MetalGreymon because he is just way to big in canon. How big? Like as big if not bigger than Mt Lady.
A 'Reincarnated' writer talked about the Legend-Arms digimon, and I would like to point out that by the end of this all thirteen royal knights will be here, and I'd like to have some stakes.
Now NightShark774 asked a lot of questions, so I'll go through them because these are actually really good questions.
"For Dorumon, will its alternating evolutions Raptordramon and Grademon be included?" For as cool as that might be, probably not.
"What is the schedule for the story?" I'm going to assume that means when do I post. I hope to post at least one chapter every week. If I end up with more then bonus point.
"Is the Demon Lords included since Impmon is here?" The demon lords are not here because of Impmon, or so he says.(Really they aren't here because he is)
"Will other groups like Olympus 12 or the Archangles make apperances?" No. But you can make story like that yourself if you want.
"Will Bio-merge be included?" As of now it hasn't been needed.
"Will characters from the anime or games appear?" If they do it will only be as cameos. The weight they have on their stories is because of their digimons, but they don't have them, so it's better to have them appear for a nice moment.
Now we must address something very important. This is a matter of life and death. We need to talk about ships... Yeah I'm not a very good shipper, so if you guys want one that doesn't exist in canon I'm gonna have to see support for it. Please know that if I think a ship doesn't make sense then I'll disregard it all together. So if you want a chance to see your favorite ship please leave a review. I read all of them, so yours will be seen.
Now have a nice rest of your day, and once more happy holidays!
