EPISODE 10 – LET'S PROTECT THE ANCIENT TREE!
INTRO: Team Heroes finally passed their first seminar exam and obtained the knowledge scroll. While they were at Powderstone school's library, they encountered Bee and Pierre during the school' Storytime where they all listened a story about a Pokémon Ranger, her Pokémon, and their adventures. Once they studied, they retook the first seminar's exam and passed, which only meant they got their first diplomas and are able to attend the other seminars. Irving Beatles, Bee and Pierre's dad, invited them to grab dinner together and celebrate. During dinner, Irving asked Team Heroes to accompany Bee to Entomo Town where she would be delivering a parcel to her aunt; since Team Heroes were heading that way anyways, Irving thought it would be best for Bee to go along with them. During their path, Team Heroes and Bee came across wild Waspeking which were behaving out of control and began chasing them. While making their getaway, Francis bumped with a girl and her Pokémon, and then all of them collided and rolled down an abyss. Once they recovered, they found themselves close to a colossal and magical tree…
[Route 2/Entomo Forest/Wednesday Afternoon]
"Ouch…my head…my back…anyways, is everyone okay?" asked Francis all concerned.
"Yeah…we are fine…" everyone else answered.
"UH?! Who are you two?" wondered Francis after realizing who he had bumped with.
"I…I am Orchid! A Pokémon Ranger! And this is my Pokémon partner, Tropicoco!"
"Uh?!" Bee rubbed her eyes and looked again, "Cousin! Orchid!" Bee was shocked and confused to see her cousin.
"Bee! Bebe! WOW!" shouted the girl ranger surprised to see her cousin too.
"Cousin?" Team Heroes were confused and speechless.
"GUYS! LOOK!" Josh was pointing up; he seemed flabbergasted.
"OMG! That's a very tall and giant tree‼" expressed everyone else amazed about their location; they began studying their surroundings.
"That is a colossal tree, mates! I've never seen anything like it in my explorer life!" commented Johnny.
"It is colossal indeed! I wonder how we ended up here..." thought Belen.
"I'm glad we're here! I gotta take pictures and post it online!" said Josh and then began taking pictures with his PokePAD.
"Something about it makes me feel like we have been here before, team…" thought Francis.
"IT'S JUST LIKE THE STORY‼" shouted Bee, Josh, and Belen altogether.
Bee approached her cousin, "Orchid! Tropicoco! It's been a long time!" Bee hugged her cousin and then Tropicoco.
"Cousin?" Everyone else was still perplexed.
"What is that Pokémon?" wondered Francis; he activated his PokeDEX APP.

025) Tropicoco – The Poisonous Cycad Pokémon [GRASS – POISON]
"Tropicoco are the final evolution of Baeaju. From a seed like Pokémon to a tall, strong, and vigorous tree like Pokémon, Tropicoco are one of the most enchanting and treasured Pokémon among scientists, doctors, gurus, and masters. For starters, its beauty derives from its lush and vibrant shades of green palm leaves; its intelligence is one of a kind as it is said that Tropicoco can learn anything by absorbing the aura of living creatures with its vines; they are also very social and approachable; its fruits, although poisonous when raw and fresh, provide medicinal benefits once they are cooked/heated to a certain degree; their crops are appreciated and very popular worldwide, which have gotten these Pokémon to be harassed and pursued very often by poachers nowadays; this human behavior has made them timid and introverted lately."

"OH! Guys, this is my cousin Orchid and her Pokémon partner, Coco!" Bee introduced her cousin to her friends, "She is a Pokémon Ranger!"
-Enchanted- "DAMN! WHAT A GIRL‼" Johnny surrounded the Pokémon Ranger and checked her out, "You are a wild, adventurous, and mysterious persona that I wouldn't mind getting to know! You are a beauty…AAAHHH‼" -Elbowed to the stomach- "UMMP!" squealed Johnny and then dropped to the ground in pain.
"BROTHER! Stop scaring the girl you just have met! Show some respect!" shouted Belen after stopping her brother from misbehaving.
"OOFF! OOFF!" -Rubbing his stomach- "Alright…alright…I am sorry for crossing the line and being so direct, miss…" apologized Johnny.
Orchid was puzzled, "It's okay…but I can take care of myself..."
"COUSIN! What are you doing here?! Were you running away too?" asked Bee.
"Too? What were you guys running away from?" wondered Orchid.
"A swarm of wild Waspeking were chasing us! We almost got stung!" Bee looked agitated.
"Really? We were being chased by a swarm of Waspeking too! Something's up around these woods!" said Orchid while studying the area, "Something is making the wild Pokémon here go mad and out of control!"
"REALLY?" Everyone looked around.
"Yes! Ever since we were sent to investigate an unusual activity at Entomo Forest, we had come across upset, angry, and confused Pokémon!" explained Orchid; Coco nodded.
"Unusual activity?" wondered everyone.
"The champion got a couple of notifications from our surveillance cameras while he was visiting the union. Since I was the only ranger without a specific mission, he sent me here to study the anomaly and report back to HQ as soon as possible, but we have been getting attacked by all the wild Pokémon around here ever since we had arrived!" expressed Orchid.
"That is very unusual!" commented everyone.
"By the looks of it, we have gotten ourselves into the enchanted woods…where the ancient tree resides and protects…" shared Orchid; Tropicoco agreed.
"Ancient tree? What are you talking about?" everyone was confused.
"JUST LIKE THE STORY!" shouted Bee, Josh, and Belen.
"Story? What story?" said Orchid sarcastically.
"The Adventures of Ranger Dash and Koko! The book series!" shouted everyone in unison.
"Gosh! That again!" declared Orchid, "Why does he keep doing that every time I tell him about my days‼ I'm never gonna share about my work life to my dad again! That's for sure‼" murmured Orchid to herself.
"What is this colossal tree, anyways?!" pondered everyone.
"Listen, we have accidentally or "divinely" stepped into the enchanted woods, guys!" explained Orchid, "where the ancient tree is located. Now, this ancient tree is known to house a legendary Pokémon…to be clearer, it is where the king of bug-type Pokémon lives…" Orchid got serious.
"UH? The king of bug-type Pokémon?!" everyone was shocked.
- RRRRUUUUUURRRR! RRRUUUUURRR! RUUUURRRUUUUURRR! –
"WHAT WAS THAT?" everyone freaked out, "That sounded like a loud chainsaw! What's going on?!" they got concerned.
"It came from that direction! We need to check it out now, Coco!" stated Orchid and she left; her Pokémon partner followed behind.
"Let's follow them, guys! We need to get to the root of this problem!" declared Francis; he chased after Orchid and Tropicoco. His team and Bee followed suit.
"Remember, the commander said to be on guard at all times so stop fooling around, you two; I'm going to lose it in a minute or so!" disclosed Artemis.
-Chasing off a Caterpie- "I'm sorry! But I find bug-type Pokémon gross and hideous! I can't stand their annoying creepiness around ME!" claimed Charon.
-Chasing after a Weedle- "Get over yourself! They find you more repulsive than you do to them!" commented Sunlix, "What we need to focus on is making the commander happy!"
"Explain yourself!" said Artemis and Charon.
"Just think…if we make sure her mission is a success, us three will reap from her achievement as well! We will have more chances to book B and A missions, which have the best rewards than C and D missions…you know, the missions that those other guys get…the two good-for-nothing fools and my disgusting twin brother…you two should make sure we get the better missions than them‼" berated Sunlix, but then, "Something or someone is coming our way, teammates! I can sense and smell it‼"
"UH? We should hide!" said Artemis and Charon; Sunlix followed their advice, and they all hid behind some bushes.

"According to my AirWatch, the unusual activity should be coming from around here, everyone…" revealed Orchid while analyzing the map on her watch, "please be on the lookout!"
"TROPI! TROPI! COCO‼" alerted Orchid's Pokémon, Coco.
"EH? COCO?" Orchid was confused but understood, "GUYS! BE ON GUARD! WE ARE NOT ALONE ANYMORE!"
Team Heroes and Bee got somewhat worried and followed Orchid's advice.
"SHOW YOURSELVES! WE KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE!" yelled Orchid, and then…

"MOONLIX? HOW DARE YOU?!" screamed Sunlix and began to complaint, "Take a better look, twerp! How dare you compare me with a such low IQ, primeval, savage, and ugly looking Moonlix? I AM SUNLIX! SUNLIX! THE BEST TWIN! THE MOST POWERFUL! THE MOST BEAUTIFUL! THE MOST…"
"Here we go again…" Artemis and Charon rolled their eyes.
"Team EXO? Who are these guys…" wondered Orchid and Tropicoco, "Coco?"
"They are the bad guys!" exclaimed Team Heroes.
"Yeah, cousin! These guys must have something to do with what is going on around here! I'm sure!" said Bee; Bebe agreed.
"What do you mean, Bee?" asked Orchid.
"They are thieves and steal Pokémon; perhaps, they are here to catch the legendary Pokémon that lives in that colossal tree!" stated Bee confidently.
"That's probably true!" nodded Team Heroes.
"IT'S TRUE! WE ARE NOT GOING TO DENY IT!" laughed Team EXO.
"WHAT? WHAT'S WRONG WITH Y'ALL! THAT'S CRUEL! I, as a sworn Pokémon Ranger, can't let you steal, harass, and hurt any Pokémon!" stated Orchid, "WE MUST STOP YOU!"
"Stop US? Honey, you and what army?!" declared Artemis; she released her Pokémon, "Go, Camelurk! Let's show them who's who!"
"MMOOOONNN! CAME! CAME! URRKKK‼" growled Camelurk.
"It's payback time! You guys really owe us from last time!" claimed Charon and released his Pokémon, "Come out, Chirop!"
"CHI! CHI! ROP! ROP!" shrieked Chirop.
"I will fight these pests if I have to! BUT I know YOU can take care of them, right?" Sunlix stepped to the side, "I need to preserve my energy for better things!"
"Just stay back, Sunlix! My Camelurk will take care of them!" shouted Artemis proudly.
"You guys should leave this to us!" said Orchid, "Coco and I can take care of these guys!"
- Stepping in- "COCO! TROPI! TROPI!" agreed Coco and it got in the battlefield.
"Are you going to be okay, cousin? Coco?" asked Bee; she worries for her cousin as she is facing Team EXO for the first time.
"As a Pokemon team, we must help out too, guys!" Francis led by example and proceeded to release Markitty.
"MEOW‼ MAR! MAR! MEOW!" Markitty got ready.
"Francis is right! We shouldn't let Bee's cousin deal with these crooks alone!" affirmed Belen and released Chickleaf.
"CHICK! CHICK! CHICK! CHICKLEAF!" Chickleaf floated around Belen all prepared for battle.
"Rodemart! Let's help the gorgeous Ranger and her Pokémon! GO!" said Johnny.
"RODE! MART! RODE! MART‼" Rodemart seemed ignited more than usual.
"Bebe and I will also help if needed! Let's us know!" Bee seemed shy having Bebe battle against Team EXO.
"Just stay close to Josh, Bee. And also watch out for any wild Pokemon!" directed Francis.
"Will do, big bro!" said Josh while taking cover behind Bee and Bebe.
"Thank you all!" bowed Orchid after watching Team Heroes step in to help her and Coco, "we appreciate your help, but for now, we got this! Go, Coco! Use, Leaf Storm!"
"COCO! TROPI! TROPI!" Tropicoco used Leaf Storm; it dealt some damage to both Camelurk and Chirop.
"CAME‼" cried Camelurk, Chirop did too, "ROP! CHIII‼"
"Camelurk! Pay attention! Use Rock Tomb!" commanded Artemis frustrated.
"Use Wing Attack, Chirop!" ordered Charon.
"Watch out, Coco!" yelled Orchid.
Coco was able to avoid the Wing Attack, but the Rock Tomb hit it; it dealt some damage, "COCO‼ COCO‼" it fell to the ground.
"Coco! Are you alright?!" Orchid worried yet looked determined.
"OH-NO! Coco!" said Belen and Bee.
"That Camelurk sure is strong!" expressed Johnny and Josh.
"What kind of Pokémon is it, anyways? Let me check it out and see if we can help!" Francis got his smartphone out, activated his PokeDEX App and pointed the camera towards Camelurk...

109) Camelurk – The Somber Double-Humped Pokémon [DARK – GROUND]
"Camelurk are desert Pokémon and enjoy sandy areas of the world. They are social between their own kind but become timid around other Pokémon or humans. Although they prefer to eat cacti all the time, they do enjoy munching on leafy greens or just plain leaves. They also drink water once a week, and when they do so, they may drink up to 5 gallons of water; they reserve most of that water within their two humps. During the day, they like to sleep or take naps; during the nighttime, they are more active and like to play, battle other Camelurk, or move to another section of the desert area looking for fresh cacti or lost Camelurk looking to join the herd; they are known to be nomads."

"Markitty should be able to stop it! Let's join forces, Orchid!" suggested Francis.
"Let's! We need to get going and stop the rest of their team from causing chaos! Coco, use Leaf Storm once again!" commanded Orchid.
"COCO! TROPI! TROPI!" Tropicoco used Leaf Storm on Camelurk.
"Markitty, don't let Camelurk avoid our attacks! Let's focus!" directed Francis, "Use Water Gun!"
"MAR! MEOW! MARKITTY‼" Markitty used Water Gun.
"That's cheating! Two against one! Let's get in there, Chirop!" yelled Charon, "Use Poison Fang and stop Markitty!"
"We need to help as well, sis! Rodemart!" expressed Johnny, "Rodemart, let's take down Chirop with an Ember attack!"
"RODE! RODE!" Rodemart use Ember against Chirop.
"Chickleaf, help Rodemart and let's stop Chirop too! Use Vine Whip!" directed Belen.
"CHICK! CHICK! CHICKLEAF!" Chickleaf used Vine Whip.
Chirop was hit two times and it dealt some damage, "ROP! CHI! CHI!" Chirop fell.
Camelurk couldn't avoid the attacks and got hit twice; both attacks were super effective, "CAME‼ CAME‼" cried Camelurk in pain; it seemed weak and disoriented.
"Camelurk! Stand your ground! WAKE UP‼" Artemis was very frustrated.
"Chirop, are you okay to continue?" Asked Charon while holding his hurt Chirop.
"YUCK! This is not going well! You two are useless!" yelled Sunlix, "I better warn the others to be on alert in case more rangers show up!" Sunlix used his Psychic Attack to ring the bell.
- Sirens activated – WEE-oww-WEE-oww! WEE-oww-WEE-oww! –
"AAAHH! What's that noise?!" said Team Heroes, Bee, and Orchid.
"That sounds like an alarm system going off! They probably just alerted their comrades we have infiltrated their area!" predicted Orchid and Coco nodded.
"What'd you do, Sunlix?!" yelled Artemis and Charon confused.
"Saving your ass! These punks are wiping the battlefield with your Pokémon!" said Sunlix all annoyed.
"AAAHHH‼" screamed Bee and Josh.
"LITTLE BRO!" Francis looked back and spotted Josh and Bee frightened; he noticed that a swarm of angry and confused Waspeking was approaching them very fast. Bebe realized it needed to protect Bee and Josh, so it went ahead and decided to use Sweet Scent to distract them.
Abee used Sweet Scent…it distracted some Waspeking, others got violent, and others continued to chase after Bee and Josh. The violent Waspeking began attacking Bebe; Bebe fainted and began dropping from the sky, but Bee caught Bebe just in time, "Bebe…my poor, Bebe…" Bee sobbed while she was running away.
"Markitty, we need to protect Josh and Bee! Use Water Gun and hose the Waspeking away!" ordered Francis after approaching Josh and Bee, "Are you guys, alright?"
Markitty used Water Gun and was able to soak wet a couple of Waspeking. Rodemart and Chickleaf joined Markitty, while Johnny and Belen regrouped with the others.
Rodemart used Ember and Chickleaf used Vine Whip; both were able to stop most Waspeking from reaching their trainers. The Waspeking didn't like any if this, so they rang a high pitching noise using their wings and called for backup. Two swarms of Waspeking were coming from opposite directions. One of the swarms spotted Team EXO and the other spotted Orchid and Coco.
The Waspeking used Poison Sting on all of Team EXO and then chased after them; "Ouch! Ouch! Wait! Stop! OUCH‼" wailed Team EXO, "It-is-their-fault! OUCH!" complained Artemis while making their getaway, "ARGH! ARGH! OUCH! ARGH‼ THOSE BRATS WILL PAY FOR THIS! WE'LL BE BACK‼" Team EXO disappeared.
"THOSE CROOKS!" shouted Orchid, "Where did they go? HUH?!" she noticed a swarm of Waspeking approaching them, "COCO! QUICK! USE CROSS POISON AND STOP THEM!"
"COCO! TROPI! TROPI!" Coco used Cross Poison and was able to stop half the swarm.
"WE NEED TO RETREAT, Y'ALL!" shouted Orchid in distress and worried, "THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM!"
"YES! WE NEED TO FIND COVER AND HIDE UNTIL THEY ALL GO!" Team Heroes agreed.
"Look there! That looks like a cave!" pointed Josh.
"LET'S GO, GUYS!" directed Orchid while letting everyone go ahead so she and Coco stay behind making sure everyone gets to safety.
While their Pokémon distracted all the Waspeking swarms using attacks, Team Heroes, Bee, and Orchid arrived at the cave, entered it, and took cover behind what seemed to be rock piles and pillars. Then, the Pokémon were able to join their trainers and hid together until everything out the cave settles down.
[Entomo Forest/Enchanted Woods/Wednesday Late Afternoon]
-Overlooking at Team EXO's Campground-
Team EXO agents were freaking out and running in all directions since the alarms were activated. Some wild and angry Pokémon have penetrated Team EXO's grounds, but the agents began to chase most of those Pokémon away. Some agents along with their Pokémon had taken place on their posts and were vigilant for any problematic attacks or troublemaking intruders. Some agents were going around the colossal tree making sure their commander stays protected at all times.
"That is annoying the hell outta me! I had the feeling that I couldn't leave any important duties to these useless henchmen!" complained the lady commander; then, she proceeded to bite her lips and said, "At least you, doctor, created a way into this exquisite giant ancient tree!" -evil giggle-
"Yes-my-lady-commander…" said the doctor with the cyborg mask, "This-path-that-I-carved-should-take-us-to-the-inner-core-of-the-tree/pauses/where-treasures-awaits‼"
"Although is disgusting to see my troops fail at everything, I must admit they will help us get away if those irritating Top Rangers show up…" explained the commander.
"You-are-right-madam!" nodded the doctor.
-Fixing her long wavy hair- "Let's get in there and grab what we came for! We can't waste any more time!" ordered the commander and led the way. She and the doctor entered the colossal tree thru a hole they had carved using one of their evil gadgets. Once inside, they found themselves within a maze made out of wood with stairways going up and down and doors going here, there, nowhere; the tree knew it was being invaded by ominous forces so it used its magic and shut close the entrance/hole Team EXO used. Using a thermal imaging surveillance device, the lady commander and her sidekick were able to detect the all the bug-type Pokémon that were hiding at the core of the tree, including the legend; they began heading over that way.
"What's this unusual cave, guys? It smells really funky in here!" said Johnny and Josh.
"Bebe…" sobbed Bee while holding onto her Pokémon.
"Here, Bee! Use this super potion! It should be able to heal your Pokémon in no time!" Orchid handed a super potion to her cousin.
"Everything is going to be fine, Bee! Bebe will recover and we will get out of this!" encouraged Francis; Markitty did too.
"Thanks…" Bee used the super potion, but it didn't heal Bebe fully; Bebe had taken serious damage, "She's still weak…but at least she's looking better…"
"If you need anything at all, let us know Bee! We are here to help!" said Belen.
-Looking outside- "My AirWatch still detects a large amount of Pokémon surrounding the area…but it also tells me that there is a way to get out of this cave the opposite way…" Orchid was using her AirWatch.
"What?! You're saying that there is more going deep into this cave?" everyone was somewhat uneasy and shy going deeper into the cave.
"There's a way out! Besides, our Pokémon have done everything they could to stop the wild Pokémon and they're also exhausted! We need to recover and keep moving at the same time!" suggested Orchid, "Heal your Pokémon, everyone, and then we will get moving! It's the best we can do now!"
"You're right!" Team Heroes grabbed potions from their bags and used them on their Pokémon partners; they healed nicely, but seemed a bit tired still, "Poke…Poke…"
Orchid and Coco lit up two glowing sticks each then led the way into the cave and everyone followed behind them; she had also sent an SOS to the Ranger Union in order to get backup just in case things gets worse. The cave continued to smell peculiarly and its paths were somewhat bumpy yet smooth, narrow yet cavernous, abstract yet symmetrical, and humid yet temperate. They came to a full stop once they found the end, but looking up the walls, there was a way to continue moving and going deeper but required some climbing. Once they reached the top, the path changed colors, some lighting illuminated the surroundings, and the atmosphere felt much different than from down below; it seemed as if this part of the cave had turned into a lair of some sort. The area was golden yellow, more symmetrical than before, with a sweet smell permeating the air, some weird buzzing noises echoing in the distance, and most walls covered with a sticky thick substance; some of that same substance was dripping slowly from the cave's top. Everyone was surveying and admiring the area making sure they didn't ran into anything suspicious, but all of the sudden, a drop of that thick golden substance fell on Bebe's face and Bebe just proceeded to eat it…
"OH-NO! Some liquid fell on your face, dear Bebe…" exclaimed Bee; she took out a wipe from her backpack but, "Bebe! Stop! Don't eat that!"
-Buzz…buzz…BUZZZZZZZZ!- "BEE! BEE! ABEE‼" Bebe healed up very fast and it began flying around in joy and very energetically.
"BEBE! You're cured!" everyone was shocked.
"Bebe! Gosh, I am so glad you're back to your own self!" smiled Bee, but then she noticed Bebe going after some more of that thick liquid coming from the cave's roof, "What are you doing?! What's that stuff, anyways?!"
-Tasting- "Umm…u-hum…yeah, no doubt…" said Orchid; she got a sample from the walls.
"Cousin! What are you doing?!" Bee looked alarmed and repulsed. Everyone was confused.
"It's honey, guys!" explained Orchid.
"HONEY?!"
"It looks like we had gotten ourselves into a Abee's hive somehow! Now it makes perfect sense!" said Orchid and Coco agreed.
-Shining- "Abee? BEE! BEE‼" Abee was dancing with joy and then began glowing.
"What's happening to Bebe?!" whined Bee extremely worried.
"By the looks of it, I think Bebe is evolving, Bee!" expressed Orchid happy for her cousin.
"EVOLVING?!" Everyone stared at Bebe and waited.

{Congratulations! Your ABEE evolved into ABEEQUEEN!}}}
"BEBE! You evolved into an Abeequeen! That's just peachy! Very PEACHY!" Bee was jumping with emotion; she dreamed of Bebe evolving into a beautiful and majestic Abeequeen ever since her mom's Abee evolved…and then she remembered how it happened, "ROYAL JELLY!"
"ROYAL JELLY?" Everyone was puzzled yet curious.
"The honey found at the roof of this hive must be royal jelly…" explained Orchid, "So, my guts were right! This hive belongs to the Abee workers and nurses! But where in the world are they?!" Orchid and Coco were concerned and looked around for clues.
"Congrats, Bee! Your Pokémon looks amazing!" declared Johnny and Josh.
"Wonderful! An Abeequeen, is it? Let me check it out!" expressed Belen; she took her smartphone out, activated her PokeDEX App and scanned the Pokémon.

052) Abeequeen – The Queen Bee Pokémon [BUG – FAIRY]
"Female Abee hold a contest every winter looking for the most suited, most beautiful, and most strong female Abee of the year; once selected, the chosen female Abee is then raised and molded by the top Abee nurses in order for it to be the queen of the hive. Using a strict diet of Abee's royal jelly, the chosen female Abee evolves to an Abeequeen and takes over the hive beginning the first day of Spring. A hive can have up to three Abeequeen; if one of the Abeequeen doesn't want to step down and let a new Abeequeen take over, they both must have a Pokémon battle with each other to determine who is the strongest and keep the throne. Abeequeen are able to control all of their Abee workers by using their special scents and hums; they also possess the ability to charm and control other Pokémon species once they're under Abeequeen' spell."

"AAAHHH‼" screamed everyone, "What's going on?!"
"That came from up there, guys! LOOK!" pointed Orchid and Coco while debris fell.
"UH? There's a corridor leading somewhere up there! If we climb, we can get to it!" said Johnny while using his TECH-P binoculars.
"BEE…queen! ABEE‼ BEE! BEE‼" Abeequeen seemed alarmed and communicated with Bee.
"What is it, Bebe?! There's something wrong and we need to go check it out?" wondered Bee, but Bebe confirmed, "Bebe wants us to go up there! Something's up!"
"If my intuition is right, I think Team EXO must have something to do with it! And we need to stop them from stealing or hurting the Pokémon!" declared Orchid and directed Coco to use its Vine Whip attack to climb up; Coco grabbed Orchid by her waist, "Common, guys! Since y'all have made it this far and we are in this together, you are part of my rescue team as of now! We could use your help!" Orchid and Coco climbed up and made it.
"DOPE! We want to help, Orchid! Coco!" affirmed Francis; he got Josh to climb with his Markitty's help while he stays behind them, "Let's go, team! We have this!"
"YEAH! We can't let Team EXO get away with this!" agreed the Mezza siblings and began climbing with their Pokémon.
"Uh?" Bee was startled; Bebe, now an Abeequeen with the ability to carry someone while flying, grabbed Bee by her waist and flew upwards, "Bebe! This is incredible, thanks!"
...
"YUCK! WHAT A PEST!" complained the lady commander all disgusted, "Can't believe that these many Abee and Waspeking are still left even after having the henchmen take down most of them! Horrible creatures!"
"I-also-used-a-special-airwaves-transmitter-to-confuse-and-scare-these-bug-type-Pokemon-away!" disclosed the grinning doctor with the cyborg mask, "But-the-entrance-to-the-tree's-core-and-Entomogul's-capsule-is-right-in-there-mylady…" -Pointing-
"Exquisite news!" -Biting lips- "Darn, I'm out of smoke bombs!" explained the commander, "I guess my sweetie pie will have to come out and help me get what I want! Mama, needs you, sugar!" she threw a pokeball up in the air and then a Pokémon came out.
"SAAAALAAAASSS‼ MAACCUAA! MAAACUUAA!" growled a slimy, reptilian-like Pokémon.
"Sweetie, could you get rid of these annoying bugs?" ordered the commander, "give me a tasty victory and you'll get a treat!" she took out a big biscuit cookie.
The commander's Pokémon used Hydro Pump and drowned most of the Abee and Waspeking; most of them fell to the ground injured and defeated.
"Exquisite! You truly are mama's sweetie pie!" -evil giggle- "HERE!" -Feeding treat-
More Abee, Waspeking, and other bug-type Pokémon showed up; they looked determined to stop Team EXO from entering the ancient tree's core.
"You don't learn, do you?!" complained the commander, "Make them disappear, sweetie! Mama and the doctor must get into the core now! Cannot waste time here!"
The commander's Pokémon proceeded to use Hydro Pump attacks one after another until all the wild Pokémon stopped bugging Team EXO, but then…
"STOP‼" yelled Bee and Orchid, "Stop hurting the Pokémon! STOP!"
"ABEE! QUUEEEN! ABBBBEEE!" Abeequeen was furious; it used Light Screen and protected all the weak wild Pokémon.
Team Heroes, Bee, Orchid, and their Pokémon have made it to the tree's center core by accident, but guided by Abeequeen's intuition; they looked at Team EXO and got nervous and confused.
"Who are you two? What are you doing inside the ancient tree?!" yelled Orchid, demanding an explanation; Coco looked at them menacingly.
"I've never seen these two, team…" Francis analyzed the commander and doctor.
"Yeah, we haven't met these bad guys before, but they are wearing the Team EXO's insignia on their clothing so they must be working for them!" stated the Mezza siblings. Josh agreed.
"UH? A bunch of kids and a Pokémon Ranger?! Is this all the Ranger Union can afford?" said the lady commander sarcastically and laughed.
"They-must-have-a-low-budget-this-year…HA-HA-HA-HA…" chuckled the doctor.
"Oh yeah? Well, we stopped your grunts on our way here! I believe we can take care of the two of you!" Francis felt offended and upset by what EXO had said.
"Be careful with what you wish for, kid…" the commander felt threatened and got enraged, "because US TWO are different from "the grunts" you have faced before!"
"Correct-correct-correct!" agreed the doctor in a creepy robotic tone.
"UH? Is that so..." All of them paused for a moment and studied the situation.
"FYI, boy, I am the sweetest, beautiful, and greatest Lethe! Team EXO's third officer in command and trainer of that gorgeous Pokémon there, my sweet Salamacua!"
"SAAAALAAAASSS‼ MAACCUAA! MAAACUUAA!" growled Lethe's Pokémon.
"AAHH! That is a Salamacua! It looks ready to devour us!" shouted Belen and Josh; they hugged in fear.
"While this master scientist on my left, is Dr. Aethon!" introduced Lethe proudly.
"I-am-Dr. Aethon! I-have-an-IQ-over-200!" gloated the doctor wearing a cyborg mask.
"She is a third officer and he is a top scientist?!" everyone got intimidated.
"Guys, stay back! Coco and I can deal with Salamacua! Just make sure you don't let those two enter the tree's core!" declared Orchid all ready to battle.
"HA! Your Tropicoco can't stand a chance against my Salamacua, sweetie…" said Lethe, "and we will show you why! Salamacua, use Ice Beam!"
"SAAALAASS‼" Salamacua used Ice Beam on Coco; it was super effective.
"COCO! NOO‼" Orchid got worried; Coco got injured badly.
"Coco! Orchid!" Team Heroes stepped in and ordered their Pokémon to attack Salamacua.
"Markitty! Use Tackle!"
"Rodemart! Use Tackle too!"
"Chickleaf! Use Vine Whip!"
Team Heroes' Pokémon attacked Salamacua simultaneously, but Salamacua barely felt anything and then swatted them off with its big thick tail.
"MARR! MEOW! MARR!", "CHICK! CHICK! CHICKLEAF!", "RODE! MART! RODE‼" Team Heroes' Pokémon got hit; they were in the ground injured.
"Markitty! Buddy, you, okay?!"
"Chickleaf! Wake up! Please!"
"Rodemart, mate! Are you able to continue?!"
Bee witnessed her cousin's Tropicoco and her friends' Pokémon get wiped out easily by Team EXO Lethe's Salamacua; she was trembling in fear and overthinking, but she knew in her heart that they must do something too, "Bebe! There must be something we can do! Please, help everyone! Please!" she begged while sobbing a little.
Bebe understood and sensed Bee's heart full with fear yet hopeful, and doubtful yet determined; Bebe focused and closed its eyes…and then it learned a new attack. Bebe used Protect The Queen move and then began emanating a peculiar sweet scent in the form of airwaves all over the inside of the tree that it even reached outside; a minute later, there was a loud buzzing coming from all directions…and another minute later, several swarms of Waspeking, Abee, Bombyx, and Morphyx appeared and began guarding Bebe, the Abeequeen; they surprised and terrified Lethe and her sidekick.
"It seems that we have came across a little bit of trouble, right doctor?" said Lethe, but she wasn't bothered by all the Pokémon.
"Right-my-lady/paused/but-I-know-you-know-how-to-handle-this!" declared Dr. Aethon, "I-am-ready-for-our-getaway. I-will-open-the-capsule-now!"
"Exquisite!" she bit her lips, "Sweetie pie, use Sludge Wave!"
"SAAAALLLAAASS‼" growled Salamacua and used Sludge Wave.
"WATCH OUT" Everyone freaked out.
Bebe used Protect on Bee, Team Heroes, Orchid, and their Pokémon, but couldn't protect the swarms. Some of them got hit, while others used their attacks to counter the Sludge Wave, and others were trying to avoid the wave altogether.
"Let's go, doctor! This is our chance!" directed Lethe and entered the tree's core. Dr. Aethon and Salamacua followed behind.
...
-Coughing- "Is everyone, alright?!" asked Francis concerned, but everyone was fine thanks to Bebe.
"We are okay, Francis!" said Johnny, Josh, and Belen; the Pokémon agreed too.
"We are alright as well! Thanks, Bebe! Bee! You guys have been rocking it!" smiled Orchid and Coco.
"Bebe, you are the greatest! I am glad that I can count on you!" Bee hugged Bebe.
"BUT, where did they go? Team EXO!" wondered Orchid and Coco looking everywhere.
"THERE! There's like an entrance or something!" pointed Josh.
"We need to follow them, guys!" stated Orchid, "I think the legendary Pokémon sleeps in there!"
"What? A legendary?!" everyone was shocked.
"Correct! I already had sent our coordinates to the Ranger Union, so we should be getting backup soon! Until then, we must do everything in our power to prevent them from disturbing, harassing, or capturing the legendary Pokémon! Let's move!" Orchid and Coco entered the core.
"I believe in you, Bebe! We can help stop Team EXO so let's go too!" Bee and Bebe followed Orchid and Coco. The surviving swarms of bug-type Pokémon followed Abeequeen.
"Team! We must help too! I know all of us can do it!" Francis cheered his team, including their Pokémon, "thanks Markitty for hanging in there!"
"MAR! MEOW! MAR!" Markitty was happy to help; it saw Francis get in and it followed him; Josh, Johnny, Rodemart, Belen, and Chickleaf followed suit.

Lethe and Dr. Aethon opened Entomogul's giant sleeping capsule and they saw it there sleeping comfortably; around its neck hanging from a silk, its most precious treasure: the insecta ampulla. Delicately, Lethe grabbed the ampulla and removed it from Entomogul's neck, but then it woke up.
-Tree shaking- / -Ground shaking- / -Loud Buzzing-
"GGGGRRRRRAAAAHHH‼ GGGRRRAAAHHH!" cried Entomogul distressed, shaken, and getting weaker by the second; it turned into its small terrestrial form.
"It was just a pinch! Stop crying you, big baby!" said Lethe, "I know how to shut you up..." -Licking her lips- "by catching you with one of our EXO master pokeballs!"
"Great-idea-commander!" agreed Dr. Aethon, "But-they're-coming-now! And-we-might-encounter-more-trouble-outside-too!"
"UGH! These pests won't stop pestering, following, and annoying us today! It's very aggravating‼" Lethe threw a tantrum.
"What-should-we-do-my-lady?" Asked the doctor; he seemed worried about the number of opponents he has detected using the cyborg mask's left eye computerized scanner.
"No time to battle and catch Entomogul! Its treasure will do for now!" explained Lethe, "Sweetie pie! Use Acid on these tree's walls and create an exit for us, sugar! NOW!" Salamacua used Acid and then a hole in the wall was created; they all escaped thru there.
"What's that out there?!" asked Irving to the champion, "It wasn't there just a moment ago!"
"That's new!" disclosed the champion, "I never seen a hole that big and deep in the tree before, wait! Something is coming out of it!"
"That's Team EXO!" Irving pointed out and the champion finally took a good look.
While riding her Salamacua and exiting the tree, Lethe whistle very loud; out of nowhere, a Team EXO helicopter showed up and helped them escape.
"Did they capture, Entomogul?!" asked Irving; he got concerned, "and where is Ranger Orchid and the kids?!"
-Checking his Super AirWatch- "They're still inside, Irving! And it seems Entomogul is still inside the tree's core as well!" the champion called Orchid, hoping the signal reaches and it did; "Hello-hello-hello! Do you copy, Ranger Orchid?!"
"Hello? David?!" Orchid had picked up.
"Yes! How are you? How is everyone? Are you guys in trouble?"
"No, David. We are alright! But I have bad news, unfortunately…"
"What happened, Ranger Orchid?"
"Team EXO stole Entomogul's treasure! Once they did, it made Entomogul turn into its terrestrial form and become kinda comatose...it's sleeping again..."
"Entomogul turned into its terrestrial form?! Just like what happened with Regenthea…" thought Irving out loud.
"I am sorry I was unable to stop Team EXO from hurting Entomogul and stealing its legendary item! My apologies…"
"It's going to be okay, Ranger Orchid. You two did the best you could and I am very sure all of you tried to prevent this…it was US that weren't prepared for another Team EXO's heist! Anyways, stay there. We will join you guys in a moment; we are just outside the tree…we need to investigate this incident further and we also brought first aid and refreshments for you guys!"
"Thank you, champion! See you, then!"
"See you soon!" -Call finished-
"We need to get to the bottom of this, David…this is the second time Team EXO has pulled something like this…" declared Irving.
"Indeed! We need to get all the info we can get in order to proceed any further, but thanks to you, the Ranger Union, the Pokémon Federation, and the FPD are now aware of their existence and malignant intentions."
"Since when did you become so mature and professional, David?" wondered and smiled Irving; he prepared a grappling hook gun in order to climb to the tunnel, which Team EXO used to escape from, and access the tree's core where everyone was waiting, "I swear you are turning into your mother! Because your dad is laid-back!"
-Blushing- "I am not!" joked the champion, "But she has taught me so much since I was a baby, really!" He also prepared his own grappling hook gun and began climbing.
"Well, she is the Pokémon Professor! She knows pretty much everything!" smiled Irving and climbed the tree. They both made it to the core.
...
"Daddy!" shouted Bee in joy and hugged Irving.
"IRVING! You came to help!" Team Heroes were glad to see Irving again.
"What's up, Team Heroes? I am impressed and proud of you all!" shared Irving.
"Are you guys alright? Anyone in need of first aid?" asked the champion prepared to heal anyone.
"David! Pr. Beatles! Thank goodness you made it!" Orchid and Coco were relieved; they were handed first aid and provisions by David.
"Call me Irving, Ranger Orchid! Anyways, good job, you two!" Irving petted Coco and then began scanning the area.
-Starstruck- "WOW! That's Fhranisa's champion, David Pine!" Team Heroes were overwhelmed; they haven't seen the champion for a while.
"Hello!" approached David, "All of you must be Team Heroes! Irving has told me so much about you!"
-Starstruck- "What? Really?!" Team Heroes blushed and were super thrilled.
"YEAH! Thanks for helping out one of our rangers and her Pokémon! And also, thanks for always willing to help out!" smiled David.
"YOU'RE WELCOME!" -Pointing out- "Entomogul is over here, champion, cuz we are protecting it just in case Team EXO comes back…" shared Team Heroes; they showed Irving and David were Entomogul was sleeping.
"Oh, Entomogul…hang in there…" expressed Irving and David worrisome. Irving's research team was waiting for further instructions outside at the bottom of the ancient tree; Irving and David placed long rope ladders from their access point to the bottom of the tree, which helped the researchers get up there.
"What are you and the professor going to do now, David? What can Coco and I do?" asked Orchid ready to lend a hand.
- Taking Pictures- "We need pictures in order to move forward with our research about the Fhranisa's legendary Pokémon and to figure out Team EXO's agenda, for starters!"
"I have pictures from my mission! I am going to send them to you, David." Orchid got busy with her smartphone and AirWatch; Coco rested next to her.
-Guiding his research group- "Survey the whole area and try not to miss anything important, crew! We need all the data we can get so we can proceed with the hypothesis and paperwork!" said Irving while picking up evidence from the ground; he had his researchers delicately place Entomogul into a healing pod and study its status and health, just like they did with Regenthea a couple of days ago.
Francis and his team had finished eating the provisions Irving and David had brought for them; they had also healed their Pokémon and returned them back into their pokeballs. Team Heroes, Bee, joined by Orchid, and Coco began taking a break from all the mayhem they experienced early.
"Is Entomogul going to be alright, Irving?" asked Francis curiously, "Because when we witnessed Team EXO steal its legendary item, it growled and buzzed in so much agony that it looked like its life source was being taken away…"
"We agree! It was awful witnessing all of that!" commented the Mezza siblings; Bee nodded.
"Yeah, dad…how come Entomogul hasn't moved or spoke again ever since Team EXO took its legendary item?" wondered Bee.
"I know you're worried about the legendary Pokémon, but trust me, Entomogul is going to be just fine, kids…we will make sure it recovers and goes back to its old self…" promised Irving; he was working on getting Entomogul to the Ranger Union's labs.
"We are gathering all the information we can in order to determine why Entomogul and Regenthea turned into their Terrestrial Forms and became comatose after losing their items" -Thinking- "So far, we think that losing their legendary items makes them lose about fifty percent of their powers…" analyzed David and shared it with the group.
"WHAT? They lost fifty percent of their powers?" everyone was shocked.
"Correct! We have this theory that these legendary items are a part of them, like our human hearts are part of us; They are extremely important tools and devices these Pokémon really need in order to gather, receive, and absorb extraterrestrial cosmic energy…"
"WHAT..." everyone was speechless.
"Receiving cosmic energy daily, it gives them enough power to either turn into their Space Forms or Terrestrial Forms or vice versa, but it also gives them the ability to travel outside our world…" explained Irving while looking at his data on a PokePAD.
"Cosmic energy? Ability to travel outside…our world?" everyone looked intrigued and ecstatic.
"I remember reading about it somewhere…that these legendary Pokémon who inhabit Fhranisa are out of this world…" recalled Orchid; Coco agreed.
"Oh! I remember our teacher vaguely talking about something like this when we were learning Fhranisa's History and Geography!" stated Josh and began researching about it on his PokePAD.
"PROFESSOR! CHAMPION! We are ready to go!" shouted a female researcher.
"UH?!" everyone turned around.
"We have to go back to the Ranger Union, kids, and secure Entomogul in a much safer place than here…" explained Irving while gathering his things, "We don't really know what Team EXO is going to do next, so it is best if we take Entomogul with us and keep it safe; we also need to study its behavior and see if anything changes…"
"At least it won't be alone! Its friend Regenthea is at the Ranger Union also getting treatment and protection!" disclosed Bee; she was relieved that her dad and the champion came to the rescue and saved Entomogul from Team EXO's claws.
"That's right, little bug! Regenthea is there and waiting for some company!" Irving had asked the Ranger Union to send one of its helicopters to pick them up and it was already waiting outside.
"What are you guys going to do?" asked David.
-Looking at each other- "I guess the only thing we can do…is camp inside this tree and wait until the morning…" observed Francis.
"That's a good idea, Francis!" said Belen; "Camping out in here would be so groovy!" said Johnny.
"Can we stay inside this tree, dad?" asked Bee.
"I think here is the safest place you can camp out for the night, little bug. You won't be bothered by any wild Pokémon anymore since they'll be sleeping. You also have Bebe with you! She will make sure all of you are safe and sound!" explained Irving, "Just stay on the lookout for Team EXO just in case and if you need backup, give us a call!"
"True, professor! The Enchanted Woods at night might be too dangerous for you guys at this moment; all of you need to rest and get your strength back!" agreed David; he gathered his things, "It was a pleasure seeing you Team Heroes! I hope to see you again and hear about your progress with the Team League!"
-Smiling- "It was a pleasure seeing you too! And yeah, we will see each other again!" Team Heroes were thrilled to have seen the champion again after all these years; they waved goodbye.
-Shy- "Emm…excuse me, champion…" Josh approached David timidly, "can I…can I have your autograph, please?!"
"UH?!" David was surprised.
"Can you sign the last page of this book that my dad wrote, please?" Josh handed a book to David for him to autograph.
"HEY-HEY-HEY, Josh! The champion is in a rush! He can't be bothered with this right now!" Francis apologized for his brother's outspokenness.
"It's all fine, dude! I appreciate all of my fans at all times! THEY are the reason why I am the champion after all!" David signed Josh's book and handed it back to him, "By the way, that's a great book!"
-Jumping with joy- "Thank you-thank you-thank you! YOU ARE THE COOLEST!" Josh hugged his book.
"Ranger Orchid! We need you to come with us and file several reports. We also need all the data you have gathered today during your mission!" said David and then boarded the helicopter.
Orchid hugged her cousin and said goodbye to Team Heroes, "Coco and I are very thankful for all of your help, guys! Y'all rock!" She and Coco boarded the helicopter, "Take care and see you around!"
"Bye, cousin! Bye, Coco!"
"Bye Orchid! Bye, Coco!" Team Heroes were delighted to have had the chance to team up with a Pokémon Ranger, but Johnny looked sad, "The gorgeous ranger is leaving! Why can't we have more time together? WHY?"
-Covering her brother's mouth- "Shut it, brother! Let the ranger leave in peace!"
"PROFESSOR! Everyone has boarded the helicopter! Entomogul is in place! We are just waiting for you, sir!" informed a male researcher using a megaphone.
"I'M COMING!" Irving approached his daughter and gave her a big hug, "I'm proud of you Bee! I know you are capable of much more and I'm so happy to see you out here protecting the Pokémon and helping your friends!"
-Blushing- "Thanks, daddy…"
"I'm counting on you to deliver that parcel for me, little bug, especially now that I'm going to be even more busy with research and helping the legendary Pokémon! Anyways, have a good night and take care! Call me if you ever need anything, honey!"
"Have a good night dad! I'll text you!"
"Team Heroes, you keep impressing me! Keep up the good work, kids, and if you guys ever need me, call me! Sounds terrific?" Irving winked, waved goodbye, and boarded the helicopter at last; they left to the Ranger Union.
Team Heroes and Bee began setting up camp to spend the night inside the tree's core. Once their camp was all set, they sat around in a circle, shared their thoughts about the day they just had, and ate some snacks. After a while, they got super tired and fell asleep.
