Hey everybody! Guess whos back. That right! The Donut is back with more! Now I bet you're wondering why I'm this took so long to come out. Well the thing is that my computers charger broke in the beginning of the year, and I only just got a new one. So that kinda sucks... Anyway as you can see by this chapters beautifully chosen title something very important is coming, and more. Now this chapter is going to be long. Like really long. I felt like I had to make up for lost time, so I made this mega chapter as an apology for being so late. Once more always remember that I don't own these intellectual properties, so please support the original creators. now let's get to it!
Chapter 5: The Coming Storm
Relief spread through the room, as both Izuku and Gabumon fell next to the fake weapon. The Hero team had won the training exercise, and they did it with some flair.
While the others had distracted Iida, Uraraka threw Gabumon at the bomb to keep Iida away and allow Izuku to capture it.
Izuku was drawing heavy breaths, but he smiled. "We did it."
Impmon raised a fist in the air with delight. "Yeah we did!"
Uraraka had her own smile. "You know since all of your monsters look so cute I thought they wouldn't work very well, but they all pulled through."
Uraraka's praise didn't fail to inflate Impmon's already huge head. "Heheh, yeah we are pretty awesome."
Guilmon rolled his eyes.
Iida was slightly discouraged from having lost, but still kept his composure, and walked to Izuku. He then offered a hand, which Izuku took. "Well done Midoriya. It seems that my arrogance was my downfall, and for that I must once more congratulate you for being the superior student.
Izuku put his hands up defensively and began to stammer again. "No, Iida you did great I just-well-uhm."
Dorumon then walked up to them, and finished Izuku's sentence. "The sheer variety of power we have makes it impossible to predict the next move."
Iida then notices something important. "Midoriya are you ok? I can't imagine having five or six out is allowing you to keep much energy."
Izuku gave a dry chuckle, as he scratched the back of his head. "It'll be fine, I'm already used to it, and-" Wait. Five of six? No, that's not right.
That's when realization hit Izuku like a bag of bricks. Everyone could see it, as his eyes widened. He then placed a finger onto his ear piece. "Veemon! Can you hear me?! What happened?! Veemon?!"
The room was quite all there was in this destroyed area was the silence, as the two stared at each other.
Bakugo hadn't said anything for a while, he just stared blankly.
Veemon still had that determined look, but he was starting to get really tired. He could hear Izuku's voice calling to him, so he tried to respond. "Hey...Izuku...? I'm on the same floor you left me on...near the giant hole in the wall, you can't miss it. Izuku...could you come pick me up? I'm tired."
Only a few minutes later the running steps of several people could be heard, as the room was then filled by Izuku, Uraraka, Iida, and everyone else.
Izuku rushed passed Bakugo to Veemon, and the other digital monsters did the same. "Veemon!"
Izuku got on his knees, and picked up Veemon into his arms.
Veemon gave a small smile to Izuku. "You made it. You know that thing you gave me really works, but I couldn't beat him, sorry." He revealed that the mysterious object was still close to his chest.
Izuku shook his head, as tears began to well up. "Don't apologize. You did amazing. We won because of you."
The others nodded, and Guilmon spoke. "If it wasn't for you then things would have been messier, so don't beat yourself up over this."
Impmon, the only one who didn't nod, then said something surprising. "Besides you fought Bakugo, and that takes some serious guts. On top of that you made it through this." He then gestured to the surrounding area. "I'd say that's pretty awesome."
Veemon then turned his head to Impmon. "I'm sure you would have done better though."
Impmon folded his arms, and turned his head. "I'm not gonna repeat myself."
Veemon's smile grew, and he then looked at Izuku. "Hey, can I take a break now?"
Izuku then returned with his own tear filled smile. "Yeah, you've earned it."
In a flash of light Izuku now sat there alone, as all his friends had gone to the digivice. Uraraka and Iida then walked to him, so they could leave and see the results.
Bakugo's stare was now focused on Izuku, as thoughts of the fight ran through his mind. 'My plan...Deku predicted it. He made me look like an idiot. And somehow he managed to win the exercise.' He then looked down at his hand, and began to shake, as Veemon's words echoed in his head 'I'll fight you not just to beat you, but to make you take that back!' "Get ready Bakugo, because this is the kind of strength Izuku inspires." "Next time we fight I'll beat you." Bakugo then began to breathe quickly in panic. 'Does this mean that if I fought all of them...if we didn't hold back at all...Deku's monsters would beat me?'
He stopped when he felt the large hand of All Might fall on his shoulder. "YOUNG BAKUGO. COOL YOUR JETS. LET'S GO REVIEW YOUR WORK. WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE YOU CAN ALWAYS TAKE SOMETHING AWAY FROM AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS. AS LONG AS YOU'RE OPEN TO LEARNING."
All Might then looked at Izuku leaving the building. The more he saw the less he suspected of the boy, and hearing the creature fight it wasn't like listening to a servant pleasing its master. It sounded more like a knight fulfilling his duty. All Might liked that comparison, at the very least it made the name of the quirk make sense.
They all left the fake building, and then came to the monitoring room to discuss the results. Shockingly, many students, All Might declared Iida the MVP.
The class's confusion was explained away by the black haired girl. She explained how even though Team A showed great teamwork and strategy they still threw a monster at the bomb and then had it shoot fire at Iida. If this was a real situation the bomb could have exploded. Bakugo abandoned his team and used an attack that damaged the structural integrity of a place he was supposed to protect. "Iida had prepared for his opponent's arrival. He had a strategy, and when things went wrong he didn't lose sight of the mission to protect the weapon. Even if his final effort was fruitless."
Iida was on the verge of tears over it all. No wait, he was crying tears of joy.
The girl then continued. "The hero team won, yes, but they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They didn't respect the spirit of the trial."
All Might was a little stunned by this. He didn't really have much to add. 'THIS GIRL HAS A GOOD EYE ON HER.'
It seems that this girl got in through recommendation for a reason, and the class had front row seats to see it.
Now it was time to start the next match with Team B as the Heroes and Team I as the villains. Team B consisted of the multi-armed boy Mezo Shoji and another student who got in through recommendation Shoto Todoroki. Team I was made up of Toru Kagakure a girl who was completely invisible and Mashirao Ojiro, a blond boy with a muscular tail.
It wasn't really much of a match. Todoroki managed to freeze the entire building with the villains inside then he melted all the ice on his own after capturing the weapon.
It was a stunning display, and someone couldn't help but draw a comparison.
In Izuku's display Gabumon appeared to speak what dawned on him. "Hey Agumon it's like when we warp digivolve."
Agumon then appeared next to him in his own portrait. "Hey, you're right. WarGreymon is fire."
Gabumon then finished his thought. "And MetalGarurumon is ice."
Izuku smiled at the two. "You guys balance each other out."
The two nodded, and the class got ready for the next match.
In front of a new building stood Tokoyami, and next to him was the green haired girl who had introduced herself as Tsuyu Asui. They were to go against Sero and Kirishima.
When they were told to begin the hero team made a slow approach.
Tokoyami allowed the arms of Dark Shadow to come out of his cloak.
Asui crawled on the wall, and observed the area. "I don't think they'll be waiting on this floor."
Tokoyami continued with his approach. "I believe you're right. If they've learnt from the last matches then it's likely they'll stay together to form a united defense."
Asui was close behind. "I think they'll move any cover away, so we won't be able to sneak up on them."
Tokoyami nodded. "I would assume the same. So I will focus on distracting them, and I will leave capturing the weapon to you."
Asui nodded in agreement. "Ribbit."
The villains had set tape around the bomb, as traps. The room they were in was large, but there was only one way in.
Sero stood in front of the bomb readied. He had set up the tape as a simple trap for anyone who got too close.
Kirishima stood in front of him. He had used his quirk to harden his arms, and was acting as the first line of defense.
The two looked at the doorway in silence. They had to be ready for whenever the hero team would arrive.
That didn't stop Kirishima from getting bored. "Hey, when do you think they'll get here?"
Sero looked at him with a mix of confusion and apathy though it was hidden by his helmet. "It's better if they don't get here at all. Then we'll win without doing anything."
Kirishima didn't like that answer. He looked back to Sero with a disappointed look. "But not having fought for the win is so unmanly!"
He would have continued, but Sero had something more important to say. "Kirishima look out!"
Before Kirishima could react he was slammed forward by a large black hand. The force pushed him off the ground and he landed on Sero's tape trap.
Krishima now looked to who had done it, and saw Tokoyami standing at the center of the doorway. "A sneak attack?! So unmanly!"
Tokoyami then turned to Sero, but acknowledged Kirishima. "I apologize for my tactics, but I will not allow myself to lose."
Sero then grinned behind his helmet. "Yeah, but now you're gonna have to try to catch me."
Sero would extend tape to one of the walls from his elbow. He then jumped, and pulled back the tape. He was flung forward, and shot a second strand towards Tokoyami.
Tokoyami used Dark Shadow to push him off the ground, and away from the attack.
Tokoyami readied to counter, but he then heard the tearing of tape.
Kirishima had freed himself, and was now charging for Tokoyami.
With that and Sero at the ready there was no way Tokoyami was dodging this, so he'd have to think outside of the box.
Tokyami grabbed onto his cloak, and threw it at Sero to block his view. He then allowed Dark Shadow to come from his back. "Dark Shadow coil around me!"
Responding to his command that dark entity wrapped around him like a coil.
Kirishima struck Dark Shadow's body, but he was already reading another attack, and Sero was now preparing to fire his tape.
Now it was time to finish this. Tokoyami gave a second command to Dark Shadow, and it began to spin rapidly. Like this it was difficult to see Tokoyami inside let alone get a hit in. Tokoyami then spoke the name of his improvised move. "Black Elk!"
Kirishima couldn't get through. "Dang it! I thought we had him!"
Sero began firing a strand of tape at Dark Shadow. "Don't worry. I've got this."
As the stream of tape continued Dark Shadow slowed down. The tape was starting to disrupt his motion.
Kirishima grinned, and readied an attack for when Dark Shadow stopped.
But neither him or Sero would get the satisfaction, as All Might's voice rang out. "The hero team wins!"
The two were shocked and look to the bomb. Both their jaws fell when they saw Asui with a hand on the fake bomb.
While they were fighting she had entered the room, and crawled along the roof to slowly and quietly make it to the bomb.
Kirishima slouched forward, saddened. "Aw man. We lost, and we didn't even see it coming."
Sero disconnected his tape, and crossed his arms. "Looks like our plan wasn't gonna work."
Dark Shadow stopped moving, and all the tape shot at it became visible. It was obvious to see why it started to slow down. It started to tear off the tape from itself, and looked very annoyed. "Did you have to use this much?"
As Dark Shadow retracted, and revealed Tokoyami he stood with his hands behind his head.
Sero and Kirishima were confused by the sight, and Sero was the one to question it. "Uh dude, why are you doing that?"
Tokoyami puts his hands down, and walks to pick up his cloak. "I did it to allow Dark Shadow free range of movement. I apologize if you do not approve of our plan Kirishima, but it was a swift way to obtain victory."
Kirishima grins and scratches the back of his head. "It's fine. I'll just have to get my manly fight some other time."
Asui placed a finger on her chin, and looked to Kirishima. "Ribbit?"
They soon left and returned to the monitoring room where All Might gave his congratulations to the hero team. "AND OF COURSE OUR MVP IS YOUNG TOKOYAMI. DO ANY OF YOU HAVE A CLUE WHY?"
As expected the black haired girl raised her hand again, but so did Izuku who now had forming bags under his eyes.
All Might then pointed to Izuku. "YES, YOUNG MIDORIYA. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY?"
Izuku then immediately got nervous. Why did he let Dorumon convince him to do this? "Oh-well uhm." He then spoke quickly to get this out of the way. "Well even though Sero and Kirishima prepared themselves physically it was clear that Kirishima hadn't put enough attention to the task at hand. Tokoyami came up with a solid plan that used both his and his teammates' quirks in an efficient and safe way. And even when Tokoyami found himself pinned he found a new way to overcome his perceived weakness."
All Might was once more surprised by how analytical one of his students was, but there was another problem... "VERY GOOD. YOU COVERED EVERYTHING. UNFORTUNATELY I DOUBT EVERYONE WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND, OR KEEP UP WITH YOUR PACE."
Izuku blushed in embarrassment.
Dorumon sighed. He knew Izuku would know what he was talking about, but he hoped the encouragement would steel his nerves.
*Nearly an Hour later...*
The class had gone through all the matches, and now stood near the entrance of the training grounds.
All Might stood with his back turned towards the hall. "THAT'S A WRAP! WELL DONE. YOU ALL TOOK THE STEPS I HOPED YOU WOULD. AND ON TOP OF THAT WE HAD NO MAJOR INJURIES. YOU SHOULD ALL BE PROUD!"
Asui raised her hand to give her thoughts. "It's nice to hear we did well after what happened yesterday. Mr. Aizawa didn't do much for our confidence."
Many of the students nodded in agreement with her statement.
All Might lifts his hands proud to hear that. "I'M HAPPY TO HEAR THAT YOU'VE ALL BEEN SO GREATLY INSPIRED. NOW, WATCH HOW A PRO EXITS. LIKE HE'S GOT SOMEWHERE TO BE!"
With that he ran off in an extreme burst of speed, so extreme it kicked up quite a bit of wind.
Many of the students were either stunned or excited.
The blond kid with the black streak then spoke out. "Ok, you guys, now that is a hero!"
Ojiro then let out a light complaint. "I'll never be able to run that fast."
Mineta responded with excitement. "He's so cool."
Izuku looked on in awe at the number one hero. "Yeah..."
All Might ran through the hall, and for a moment he looked back to see Bakugo looking to the ground with a blank expression. 'Young Bakugo seems to be overflowing with pride. His ego may be justified, but a school like UA won't let him remain that way. As his teacher it is my duty to guide him on his journey. For now though I need a moment to recharge.'
A large sliding door then opened in the hall, and All Might dashed into it. He then pushed a button, and the door closed behind him. In an explosion of steam the All Might the world knew had disappeared, and in his place stood a man who could be described as skin and bones. He let out a breath of relief from having pushed himself for a while. "At least I still have time to teach a class." His voice sounded tired like someone who was still alive by sheer force of luck and maybe will.
*A few minutes later...*
The class had returned to their classroom, and now discussions had started over their matches.
Kirishima started by pointing out what he saw as the coolest fight. "Hey Midoriya! You're fire lizard was manly! He even held his own against Bakugo! I don't know what he said, but he looked real fired up, literally!"
Izuku was a little surprised that he was approached first. "Oh yeah, he was pretty cool. And right now his name is Veemon."
A larger student with impressively thick lips and short black hair then came up to him. He then pointed to himself with his thumb "Hey, I'm Sato, and I've been wondering. Why did you only transform one of your guys?"
Tokoyami then came to answer Sato's question with a theory. "I believe it's because the rest would digivolve into creatures that were simply too large for the situation at hand."
Izuku then looked at Tokoyami and nodded. "Yeah, that's right. The only one who had a good size when he digivolved was Impmon."
The blond with black was confused by the word Izuku and Tokoyami used. "Digi-vovled?"
Izuku then answered with what he gave his friends earlier. "Digivolution. It means digital evolution. Since they are made out of data."
The blond then had a face of realization. "Hey, that makes sense. I'm Denki Kaminari by the way. You might wanna keep an eye on me because I'm gonna end up being the most popular boy in thi-"
He was then caught off when something stabbed into his ear and he yelped in pain. The person who had done it was a girl with dark purple hair with what seemed to be heart beat monitor waves depicted on her hair. Her most notable feature was the flexible plug-like earphone jacks hanging from each of her earlobes. "Yeah right. Keep dreaming." She then looked back to the other boys who had seen how quickly she incapacitated their classmate. "Nice match by the way Midoriya. I'm Kyoka Jyro."
Izuku waved at her trembling. He didn't want to be next. "Hey..."
The black haired girl then approached Izuku with Iida close behind. "Excuse me Midoriya, but could you explain to us what happened near the end of your match?"
Izuku then looked at the two a little nervously. No one had commented over the bags under his eyes, but they were gonna notice now. "Well since my quirk uses a certain amount of energy depending on a mix of factors I thought that if I could pump more energy through it then I could generate more powerful results. So I made a program that would raise the amount of energy required, but not used. This meant that there was an extra amount of energy being pumped through which was converted into extra power."
Iida nodded rapidly, as he took in the information. "I see. I imagined they weren't as powerful at that stage, so now it makes sense. That also explains why you look so tired."
The black haired girl nodded then realized something. "Oh, where are my manners? I am Momo Yaoyorozu. It's nice to make your acquaintance."
Izuku nodded, still nervous. "Uh-yeah you too. I mean it's nice to meet you too."
Yayorozu had one last question. "By the way, do you have a term that you use to call your creatures by? It doesn't seem right to keep calling them that."
Eyes fell on Izuku. If he did have something to call them then they'd want to know. "Oh, uhm- yeah I do. It's a similar name to my quirk. Their Knights, but they insist that they only count as knight-in-training."
Tokoyami nodded. "I see. Such a noble title, and their dedication has allowed them to earn it. And with you coming up with new ways to adapt I'm sure they may grow to be unstoppable."
Izuku then looked to Tokoyami. "Don't sell yourself short Tokoyami. I mean you came out with a pretty good plan on the spot. Even though Dark Shadow has to be attached to you, you gave him more space to move around by adjusting yourself. I'd say that's some pretty good synchronization with your quirk and adaptability."
Tokoyami took in the praise and nodded. "Still, my plan would have not been successful had it not been for Asui's aide."
Asui then came into the conversation with something very important to say to Tokoyami. "I told you to call me Tsu."
After that their afternoon classes would soon begin, and the rest of the day would go by.
Something bothered Izuku throughout the day, and that was how passive Bakugo seemed. It didn't look like he was taking the loss very well. But what could Izuku do about that? There wasn't anything he could say that would make Bakugo feel better. They both wanted to reach for the top, and Izuku wasn't going to stop for anything.
All Bakugo could think about was his own actions. He allowed himself to be predictable, he allowed himself to be distracted, he allowed himself to make stupid decisions, and worst of all he allowed Deku to win. Deku was nothing without his monsters, but he neglected the fact that those same monsters follow him everywhere. And Deku used that! It made his desire to win stronger. First the entrance exam now this?! He wasn't gonna let it happen again. 'Enjoy your win Deku, because I'm not gonna let you get another!'
*That night...*
At an unknown location, in a bar there was one man who was particularly interested in the newspaper.
He placed it onto the bar table for the bartender to see. "Is this some joke?"
The page he was on spoke of All Might and his new profession as a teacher.
The man then placed his cup onto the picture of All Might. "It says he's a teacher now."
He then called the attention of the one managing the bar. "What do you think will happen when the mighty Symbol of Peace...is killed by the villains?" The man grinned at the thought, and an odd bracelet he wore began to glow hellish orange.
*The next day...*
It was now the third day of school, and getting in was a hassle. The front gate was swarmed by the media. It took a while for everyone to get through, and when Aizawa got involved one of the interviewers tried to get through by force. What she didn't take into account were the schools defenses which immediately brought any attempts at unauthorized entry to a halt. Still there was one man in the crowd who'd get what he wanted one way or another.
In class Aizawa had brought up the exercise from the day before, and gave his feedback. He then spoke of a decision, so important that it would decide their futures. Most people were scared of the possibility. At any moment any one of them could be expelled. That was until Aizawa revealed that they had to choose a class representative. Relief washed over the class, as they knew this would just be something normal for school.
Hands were raised all across, as everyone seemed to want the role. It made sense being the class representative at a school like UA showed that you could lead a team like a pro, and that was something agencies looked for.
Iida managed to break through the noise and suggest that the decisions would be made democratically, by voting. Many were reluctant to agree since most people would likely vote for themselves. Iida then countered with the logic that if one of them could get more than one then it meant that they were the most worthy, or demanded the most respect. After that the class agreed.
When it was done Izuku was horrified at the fact that he was at the top with four votes! He had voted for himself, but he wasn't expecting people to vote for him.
Iida seemed frustrated that he got zero votes, but he wasn't about to argue with the system he chose.
Bakugo was furious over the fact that anyone would vote for Deku.
The only other person who got more than one vote was Yaoyorozu. This meant she'd be vice representative.
Izuku felt like he was gonna die, as he stood in front of the class he wanted this, but he in no way felt like he was ready. Still he was chosen, and this was an opportunity to really improve in a way he hasn't.
*A few hours later...*
It was now lunch, and Izuku sat with his friends. This time instead of Agumon, Gabumon sat between Izuku and Tokoyami.
Rather than shoveling food into his mouth Gabumon ate calmly when compared to Agumon and he ate with utensils. He was eating like a person.
The only one who seemed in any way bothered by this was Iida. Agumon's first impression left him to expect certain things, and this wasn't it.
Urarakaa then broke the silence with Iida's thought. "Hey Gabumon right? Why do you eat like that?"
Gabumon stopped, and looked at her confused. "Like what?"
Izuku answered "I think she's asking why you don't eat like Agumon does."
Gabumon could answer that. "Because I don't want my pelt to get dirty."
Iida then had a question about that. "Wait, that's a pelt? It isn't a part of you?"
Gabumon got a little nervous. "Well n-no, not exactly."
Uraraka then placed a finger on her chin in thought. "Hmm, now I wonder what you look like under there."
Gabumon trembled. His nerves shot up when someone mentioned what he'd look like without his pelt. Gabumon closed his eyes, and pulled down his pelt to keep it on in case someone tried anything. "Please don't touch it." He murmured.
Tokoyami then entered the conversation. "Maybe it would be best if we don't pry. After all, no one would wonder what you'd look like without your clothes on, and ask you about it."
Uraraka blushed at that. She realized that Tokoyami had a point, and now she felt gross. "Ah, you're right. I'm super sorry."
Iida nodded. "I must apologize as well. I hadn't taken into consideration that you wouldn't be comfortable talking about something like this."
Gabumon let go of his pelt, and looked up to the students. He then gave them a smile. "It's alright. I suppose I should have also been prepared for any questions you may have had."
The three students nodded.
Izuku then spoke out with concern. "Guys, I'm worried about the whole class rep thing. I don't think I'm qualified"
Uraraka doubted there was much to worry about. "Sure you are."
Iida then gave his response. "I'm sure you'll do well. Your courage and quick thinking under stress will help you improve and mature as a leader. That along with the strength you've demonstrated. That's not even mentioning that you already have experience as a leader. Those are the reasons I voted for you at least."
Izuku was surprised to hear this. "You were one of the other three?"
Tokoyami then gave Izuku another surprise. "I voted for you as well for similar reasons. You lead noble knights into the field, and do everything you can to make sure you all come back safe. I had believed that you were used to being put into higher positions."
Izuku was a little nervous, mainly because of how Tokoyami worded that. "Uhm, well. I wouldn't really say something like that."
Gabumon then looked up to Izuku, and called to him. "Izuku, they've put their faith in you. Don't let them down." He then gave the boy a smile.
Izuku looked at Gabumon, gave him a small smile and nodded. "Right."
Uraraka then turned to Iida with curiosity. "Didn't you want to be rep really badly, I mean you do look the part. With the glasses."
The rest of the table agreed that wasn't the best way to choose a class representative.
Iida took a sip of his orange juice before giving his answer. "Wanting a job and being suited to it are two very different things. Observing the rest of my family's agency has taught me that much."
That picked some curiosity.
Izuku took the initiative with that curiosity. "Wait, what does your family do?"
Iida realized what he said, and tried to backtrack.
Uraraka wouldn't let him though. "Admit it, Iida. You're filthy rich!"
Iida seemed shocked that someone had realized. "Uh- I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family."
This only made Uraraka and Izuku more curious.
Iida then began to explain how his family was one of heroes. It ran through his family's blood. "Tell me, do either of you know the Turbo Hero: Ingenium?"
Izuku then began to list every fact he knew about the hero. From the fact that his agency was in Tokyo down to the fact that he had 65 sidekicks.
That is when Iida revealed that Ingenium was his older brother.
Izuku, Uraraka, and even Gabumon were excited to hear of this. Tokoyami didn't like the noise, but he found it interesting.
Iida then spoke his praises towards his brother, and his strong desire to be that kind of hero.
Before he could keep going, alarms rang through the lunch room. An automated voice announced that a level 3 security breach had occurred. Many of the students there were shocked. A level three security breach meant that someone had gotten through the school's barrier.
Everyone ran to the exit. And said exit became insanely crowded. Everyone was pushing and shoving, and several people were getting crushed.
Izuku held his hands over his head. He didn't get the chance to put Gabumon away, so he was carrying him. Now he was trying to make sure neither of them would get crushed.
It was sheer panic, and everyone was starting to get separated by the wave of students.
Iida made his way to the window to see who could have managed to trespass on the school grounds. He was surprised to see that it was the press from earlier. Iida looked back to the students, and tried to tell everyone to calm down, but he was ignored. No one was listening to him, so what was he to do? That's when he saw Gabumon being held above the crowd by Izuku. That was his opportunity. "Gabumon! It's the media! You have to tell everyone it's the media!"
Gabumon was able to hear Iida's words, and nodded to him. He then looked down to Izuku. "Izuku! It's the media, the ones who got through."
Izuku looked up to Gabumon surprised. How could the media have gotten through? That didn't matter right now. They had to find a way to calm everyone down. Then Izuku heard Uraraka scream out. He looked at her and saw an opportunity. "Uraraka!" He then made his way to her.
Uraraka heard Izuku and held her hand out to him. "Midoriya!"
Once he got close enough Izuku decided to put his plan into motion. "I need you to make Gabumon float above everyone else!" After saying that he then threw Gabumon at Uraraka.
Gabumon held a hand out in hopes of reaching her.
Uraraka lifted her hand to Gabumon, and her finger tips made contact with his palm.
Gabumon was now floating and upside-down, but he could still do this. "Blue Blaster." A small stream of blue flame then shot out of mouth pushing him closer to the exit till he hit the wall above it. That caught him by surprise, but that didn't stop him from trying to use the wall to align himself properly. He then looked out to the sea of students 'I need to grab everyone's attention. I'm sorry Izuku.' Gabumon then began to glow. "Gabumon matrix digivolve too..." He erupted in a surge of data which grabbed everyone's attention quickly. "WereGarurumon!" WereGarurumon then grabbed onto a pipe coming out of the wall, and pointed towards the window. "Calm down everyone, it's only the media! If you all keep panicking like this you'll only hurt yourselves. We must remain calm, or none of us will leave!"
Even though it was a monster saying it, many of the students had looked out the window. They saw that the police had arrived to retrieve the media, and that there really wasn't much to fear.
Iida let out a relieved breath. He was glad that his insight had allowed for the right judgment to be made. He believed that this could be the crucial first steps to becoming the hero he wanted to be.
*A few hours later...*
Before the destroyed UA barrier stood four members of the faculty.
The one who stood at the front then began making his analysis. "How could ordinary members of the press bypass our security systems? Someone else must have been behind this. Some villain actually managed to infiltrate our school." He then asked a terrifying question. "But was this purely a show of power or a declaration of war?"
*A few minutes later...*
Now was the time for heroics, and Aizawa had an announcement to make. Today they'd have three teachers. There's All Might, himself, and another member of the faculty.
Many of the students were curious as to who it could be.
Sero raised his hand to ask a different kind of question. "Sir, what kind of training is this?"
Aizawa responded by pulling out a card that said "RESCUE", and then elaborated. "You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, and the like."
This got the class excited. While heroes where allowed to specialize rescuing people was at the heart of being a hero. The class even began to share their thoughts.
Aizawa quickly brought them to a halt by saying that he wasn't done. He then brought out the class's hero costumes. He was allowing the students to pick what they would wear since they hadn't gotten used to their hero outfits.
The class still chose to go in their costumes.
Aizawa then explained how they would be going to an off campus facility, so they'd have to go by bus.
Even after everyone else got up Izuku sat with his thoughts. Rescue training had been exactly what he was waiting for. It brought him one step closer to being the hero he wanted to be, the hero who could save everyone with a smile on his face.
Once everyone was ready Iida suggested to Izuku a specific seating plan for the bus to maximize order and efficiency.
The plan turned out to be useless due to the bus's open layout.
Asui then looked to Izuku who was sitting right next to her. "If we're pointing out the obvious then I'd like to say something about you Midoriya."
Izuku was a little nervous to hear that. "Oh, what is Asui?"
Asui then corrected Izuku. "I told you to call me Tsu."
Izuku then apologized. "Uh-right, sorry."
Asui then continued. "Anyway, isn't the way your quirk develops kinda confusing?"
Izuku didn't really understand the question. "W-what do you mean?"
Asui then expanded on her question. "Well the spread of power between you're knights isn't even is it?"
Izuku then looked away, a little nervous to answer. With his digivice on it was really easy for everyone to hear.
Krishima then came into the conversation before Izuku could give a clear answer. "Hold on Tsu, you're forgetting that maybe he hasn't had every knight for as long, so some of them have more practice."
Izuku breathed out a sigh of relief. It was a little surprising that Kirishima was decently accurate though.
Kirishima then continued with his own thoughts. "Still, I bet it's cool to have a quirk like that. It's complicated, but you can still do a lot of flashy stuff with it." He then raised his arm, and hardened it using his quirk. "My Hardening's super strong and can destroy enemies in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive."
Izuku looked to Kirishima's arm with fascination. "No way, I think it's really awesome looking. You're definitely pro material with a quirk like that."
Impmon then appeared on Izuku's display and was fascinated as well. "It does look cool. Man, I wish I could be that strong."
Another portrait appeared with Guilmon. "Maybe someday. Hey, I'm still waiting for the day I reach Mega level."
Kirishima looked back at his arm with a smile. "You really think so? Sounds like it'd be easier to be a popular hero if I had something flashier."
The sparkling boy then entered the conversation with his own comment. "My Naval Laser's got the perfect combination of panache and power."
Mina then placed a hand on his shoulder. "But it's not as cool when it gives you a stomachache, Aoyama. "
Kirishima then continued. "Yeah well besides Midoriya the ones who have pro quirks are definitely Todoroki and Bakugo."
Asui then pointed something out. "True, but I don't think Bakugo is gonna get very popular with how angry he is."
Bakugo then got up to bite back. "What'd you say? I'll kick your ass!"
This only proved Asui's point.
Kaminari then commented on the conversation. "Y'know we basically just met you. So it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage."
Bakugo then started to yell at him.
Izuku couldn't really hear what anyone was saying anymore. The echoing laughter of Impmon and Guilmon was making it hard to hear anything.
Aizawa then stopped the conversation by letting the class know that they had arrived.
When they got off the bus the students were met by someone wearing something similar to an astronaut's space suit. Although her voice had a radio filter due to the mask it was clear she was a woman. And it was clear to some who this was.
The Space Hero: Thirteen. A chivalrous pro who's rescued many from disasters across the world.
Uraraka was especially excited, as Thirteen was one of her favorite heroes.
Thirteen was excited to show the class what was in store, and guided them inside this special facility.
The students gasped, as they entered, and marveled at what they saw.
Kirishima had some kind of idea where they were. "Holy crap! Is this Universal Studios Japan?!"
Thirteen then began to elaborate on what it was the students were seeing. "A shipwreck. A landslide. A fire. A windstorm. And many more." She then brought her hands up. "I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters. I call it the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. But, you can call it, USJ!"
Some of the students then realized the irony of the name. 'Just like Universal Studios Japan.'
Aizawa then walked up to Thirteen asking about All Might.
Thirteen responded by lifting up three fingers and whispering the situation to him.
Still it was time to begin with or without All Might.
Thirteen had one thing to say first. "Before we begin, let me just say one thing. Well, maybe two things. Possibly three, four, five."
The class wanted her to get to the point.
And get to the point she was. "Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful Quirk. It's called Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust."
Uraraka excitedly nodded. She really did like Thirteen as a hero.
Izuku gave some of his fan information for more elaboration on the pro's abilities. "Yeah, you've used Black Hole to save lots of people from all kinds of disasters, right?."
Thirteen then bounced off what Izuku had said. "That's true, but my quirk could easily be used to kill."
That caught the classes full attention.
Knowing that everyone would listen, Thirteen continued. "Some of you also have powers that can be dangerous. In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly. Even if you're trying to do something virtuous Like rescue someone. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a solid idea of your quirk's potential. And because of All Might's combat training, you likely experienced how dangerous your powers can be when used against people. Carry those lessons over to this class. Today, you're going to learn how to use your quirks to save peoples lives. You won't be using your powers to attack enemies or each other, only to help, that's what being a hero is all about. Ensuring the safety of others"
Many were inspired by Thirteen's speech. Even within Izuku's digivice, confident smiles and determined looks were shared. This was their moment to learn what it was all about.
Thirteen bowed, and thanked the students for listening.
Now that Thirteen was done Aizawa hoped they could begin.
Suddenly the lights began to flicker, and the water fountain at the center of the facility started to glitch. It seemed as if the space around it was being distorted.
Aizawa was quick to notice this, and turned around.
The small distortion then became a large black and purple rift, and from it a man began to walk through.
Aizawa then turned to the class. "Stay together and don't move!" Before the students could really process what was happening Aizawa turned to Thirteen "Thirteen. protect the students!"
Kirishima then noticed the problem." Whoa, what is that thing?"
The man who walked through the rift wasn't alone. Many others began to walk through
Kirishima was confused. He began to question why there were fake villains if they were doing rescue training.
Aizawa ordered the students to stay back.
Izuku noticed something. The goggles Aizawa had put on were very familiar. Then it hit him, Aizawa was the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head.
Aizawa then revealed that those villains were real.
That scared many of the students. Real villains? How could that be possible? That didn't matter because now they were the ones in danger, and there wasn't much to protect them.
Alright, I know what you're thinking. This wasn't that much longer then my last chapters. Well I realized that not everyone would probably like reading a chapter that's over 10,000 words long especially on the internet, so I'm making a small compromise. Now you have this later you'll get everything else. Now let's establish somethings. I decided to do the third match of the battle training. Why? Because Tokoyami is important now, and deserves to be treated as a main character. Also I made a move for him. It's purley defensive, but it might come in handy. The name "Black Elk" is reference to the book "Black Elk Speaks" where a holy man goes into great detail describing an approaching tornado. Cool right? Anyways, soon is the time you've all been waiting. The promised object will arrive, in literally then next chapter. It's gonna be crazy. So yeah! I'm back in buisness!
Now there weren't many reviews placed in my absence, but one person should up with some real passion! This was Xenozip who left behind quite a few things. A lot of this will be paraphrasing because the actual review is gigantic.
(Will Izuku be able to use Digisoul?) Nnnnnnnyes? I can't answer that without spoiling the suprise.
(Will Izuku be able to get the components of Mastemon?) No, for the same reason I said no to some of the other digimon suggestions. Izukus is going to have the THIRTEEN Royal Knights. That's pretty big number, and on top of that they are all super powerful. I get what you mean thou Mastemon is super cool. I remember when I played the game I thought she was the second coolest jogress.
Now, what about ships? This is like the last chance I'm giving any of you to tell me what you want becasue after I post the next chapter my decisions will be set in stone. No pressure. Ok I hope you all enjoyed this. Tell me what you liked, what you didn't. All the support you people give me fuel my passion, and I'm going to bed now. Bye!
