Back again with chapter 8. First off I want to make a little announcement. Remember that question I asked last chapter? No, not about Omegamon's designation, about me making a Discord server. Well I've made a poll for it, so if you want to be part of the decision making process check it out. I do have another announcement, but that can wait till the end of the chapter. Always remember that a lot of this isn't mine and I shouldn't be credited like they are. Now let show begin.

Chapter 8: Moving Forward

Orange light lit an empty bar. The quiet gave the bar an air of peace, but in reality it was a home of evil.

Then near the center of the room space became distorted and a black and purple warp opened.

It moved back reviling the injured villain Tomura Shigiraki.

Shigiraki groaned, as he hit the floor. He then spoke in frustration. "One arm broken and both my legs shot. All those underlings wiped out. And not just Nomu, but that demon was beaten. We failed, Those kids were so strong. And the Symbol of Peace wasn't weakened at all." He then looked up to screen. "You were wrong Master. So wrong!"

A voice then spoke out from black screen that showed the words "SOUND ONLY". "No, I wasn't. We just weren't as prepared as we should've been."

A second voice then spoke from the screen. "I agree. We underestimated them. Thankfully, we failed under that cheap "League of Villain" name and not our own. And what about the creature the Master and I created? Where is Nomu?"

The first voice returned. "Yes, why is he not with you? And how is it that the Hellfire of Chaos was defeated?"

Kurogiri was the one to answer the questions and more. "The demon has given himself a name, "Daemon". Both were destroyed, and unlike Daemon, what remained of Nomu could not be collected."

The second voice spoke in surprise. "What?!"

Kurogiri then continued. "It was All Might's doing with help from one of the students. The power the child showed was simply too much for his body to take, and so it was destroyed. We couldn't have done anything else."

The second voice was displeased. "This is a travesty. And after all we did to make him as powerful as All Might."

The first voice then returned to breath assurance. "Well, I suppose it can't be helped. Unfortunately."

Shigiraki then spoke, as Kurogiri's words reminded him of something aggravating. "That's right. There was that kid protecting All Might. He had this power that summoned these "Royal Knights".

The first voice responded fascinated by the villains words. "Oh?"

Shigiraki then looked at his broken arm and clenched his fist. "If he hadn't gotten in our way, We might have killed the Symbol of Peace. That brat... That brat!"

The first voice then spoke to calm Shigiraki down. "Naturally, you're upset. But this was not a futile mission. We've learned many things." He then gave the villain a call to action. "Gather the villainous elite. Take all the time you need. I must remain hidden in the shadows, which is why I need you to be my face. A symbol of your own. Tomura Shigiraki. Next time, you will show the world why it should fear you."

*At the USJ a couple of minutes later...*

The villains were being taken out of the facility. Now that the police had arrived the arrest of the criminals was underway

The students stood as group while being counted. The man counting them was a detective with a tan overcoat and matching hat. Once he finished he looked down at the paper he was holding. "Everyone seems to be unharmed except that boy with the broken arm and ankle."

The students then began to talk to each other on their individual experiences. They all seemed to agree that all villains were just low level thugs. There was one topic of conversation that was especially important. The battle at the central plaza.

Kirishima was still riled up by what he saw. "You should have seen it up close! That brain guy and fire villain were crazy strong. It looked like even All Might would've had trouble on his own. Then WHAM! Out of nowhere Midoriya pulls out this super strong black knight! The guy was tough even against the villains."

Kaminari took a step back surprised. "Seriously? Was he just holding back in the quirk test?"

Tokoyami then interjected. "I doubt that. Midoriya explained that the knights prefer to be called "knights-in-training" I suppose what happened was the one who had obtained true knighthood."

Bakugo was pissed to hear all this praise for Deku. All it did was infuriate him. And it wasn't just because Deku did something, but because he didn't do anything! He could have helped All Might he could have shown why he was the best! But he didn't... Why didn't he? He wasn't scared, so what stopped him?! Deku was powerless, but even he tried something. 'Dammit Deku... DAMMIIIIIIT!'

Kirishima then continued. "That wasn't all though. His dragon guy and metal wolf fused! The turned into this super manly white knight who could shoot ice and fire. And it was so cool! He shot ice form this cannon in his left arm, and fire from a sword coming out of his left."

This intrigued many of the students further. The ones who seemed most interested were Iida, Uraraka, Tokoyami, and Yaoyorozu.

Tokoyami spoke first. "WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon fused? Fascinating."

Iida then spoke with his own train of thought. "Truly. The escalation of power is normally slow and gradual, but it would seem that certain aspects develop quicker than others in Midoriya's case."

Yaoyorozu then bounced of Iida's train of thought. "Maybe it's separated into two components. One half belongs to the development of his knights who have each other to train with, and as such have constant opportunity to improve. The second half is how much energy Midoriya is able to give. It functions similarly to most stamina based quirk in the fact that to improve it's use you have to improve your stamina."

Uraraka then broke the analysis with a worried filled question. "Ok, but does that mean he might have pushed himself to far today?"

It was a question some students began to ponder in silence, but Todoroki was thinking of something else. Omegamon. It felt like his very existence was a spit in the face. Fire and ice being used together to fight evil. To see something like that did nothing but remind him of... His mission. It reminded him of his mission. He will deny the fate someone else imposed upon him. It doesn't matter if knight can do what he can.

The detective then spoke to one of the police officers on the seen. "Let's go get these students back to the main campus. They've been through a lot. We don't need to question them right away."

Asui then came up to the detective with a question. "Detective. What about Mr. Aizawa?"

The detective pulled out his phone and played a recording of what the doctors had told him. "The bones in his arms are splintered and he's got facial fracturing. Fortunately there doesn't seem to be any serious brain damage. But, his orbital floor has been almost completely destroyed. We have no way of knowing if his eyesight will be impaired once he's healed."

The detective's eyes looked apologetic. "Well, you heard him."

Asui was saddened by the news. "Ribbit..."

Mineta's eyes were filled with tears. "Not his eyes."

Ashido then came up to the detective. "Sir, what about Thirteen?"

The detective did seem like he had something good to say. "There's no need to worry about there. Despite some pretty bad lacerations to the back, Thirteen is gonna pull through, good as new."

A collective sigh was given by the people who had seen what happened.

The detective then continued. "And All Might is also without any serious injuries. He's in the nurse's office right now. Recovery Girl's power should be all the treatment he needs."

That's when Izuku's friends came in to express their worry.

First was Uraraka. "What about Midoriya?!"

Iida came next. "How is he?!"

Tokoyami then expressed his concern. "Is he alright?"

The detective then turned to them in realization. It seemed like what he had to say was bad. "Honestly we weren't sure if he was gonna survive."

The class was shocked to hear that.

The detective continued, not giving them a moment to process. "His broken arm and ankle aren't too bad on their own, but when we got to him it was like all the energy in his body was fading. He wasn't breathing properly, his heart rate was too slow, and his blood pressure was going down fast. Right now he's in stable condition, but he gave us quite the scare."

The class was now filled with not just shock but guilt set in. Izuku stood to protect All Might, to protect everyone. And he went past his breaking point. He refused to relent. What did that mean for them? He protected them, and they couldn't do the same for him.

Kirishima was the first to burst. "Dammit! He did some of the most manly stuff, and this is what he gets?!"

Asui tried to calm him down. "That's just how it is sometimes. That's what heroes do all the time."

Tokoyami then gave his thoughts on that. "That is true. He stood to protect us as not only a hero but as our classes leader. Let us be thankful that he was left on this Earth, and let us pray for his quick recovery."

Iida nodded in agreement. "Yes. Even if he was reckless I believe we chose well when it came to our class representative."

Yaoyorozu looked to the ground. Iida had indirectly reminded her that as the vice representative she was supposed to have Izuku's back, but she wasn't there. On top of that she had been pinned in a dangerous situation, and couldn't do anything. On the opposite side Izuku had been able to fight with All Might against the biggest threats. It made her feel small.

The detective then addressed the class. "Now, let's get you back to class."

The class agreed. Many were still processing the events that had transpired. Almost none of them were hurt, but the one who fought the hardest wasn't with them. It gave many a dose of survivors guilt, but still many knew they'd have to move forward.

The detective then turned to one of the officers. "Sansa. I still have some business in the nurse's office. I'll leave this to you, alright."

The officer in question was a man with a cat's head and a bell coming out of his shirts collar. He gave the detective a salute. "Yes sir!"

Some students distracted themselves by looking at Sansa's cuter additions.

*A few minutes later...*

The sun had started to set and All Might laid on a bed. His body was all skin and bones, and his chest was covered in bandages. "I can't be too sure. But I think I shortened my time limit with that fight. Hopefully I can steal hold my muscular form for an hour."

The nurse of the school sat at her desk and shook her head. She was a short, elderly woman with gray hair styled into a netted bun, and had large syringe poking diagonally out of it to the left. She wore a doctor's lab coat and a dress with yellow and red vest-like designs on either side, and a belt with a pink "R"-shaped buckle. She also wore pink boots and a helmet around the sides of her head with a purple-tinted visor joining over her eyes. She was holding a a large syringe that she used as a cane.

She sighed to what All Might had told her. "Well, I guess I won't scold you since it wasn't really your fault."

All Might responded with a measure of guilt. "I'm sorry Recovery Girl."

The door to the office then opened and the one who entered brought a small smile to Recover Girl's face. "Excuse me."

The man was the detective currently helping with the situation. "Hey, All Might. Been a while."

All Might sat up quickly in surprise. "Detective Tsukauchi?! I didn't know that you were investigating."

Tsukauchi nodded and began to walk towards his friend. "That's right. Sorry to cut to the chase, but we could really use any information you might have."

All Might then stopped him. "Hold on. Before all that. Tell me all the students are okay. And Aizawa-er, Eraser Head, and Thirteen."

Tsukauchi nodded with a small smile. "Not counting the Midoriya boy, the only student injuries were scrapes. And both the teachers are in stable condition right now. Relax."

All Might gave a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear."

Tsukauchi then tried to encourage his friend. "If you heroes hadn't risked your lives, the student would never have made it. You three saved that entire class today."

All Might then corrected the detective. "You're not seein' the whole picture, Tsukauchi. Those students also risked their lives. The fought as hard as us."

Tsukauchi nodded. "I suppose you're right. Now, lets talk about what happened."

All Might's expression became very serious with that. "The Hellfire of Chaos was there."

Tsukauchi's eyes widened. Something like that couldn't be treated as a joke. "All Might, that's impossible! The only way he could have been there is if-"

All Might then cut him off. "I don't want to believe it myself! But... There's no other way. All for One is back."

The idea made the air feel heavy. The very thought made everyone's skin crawl.

All Might had some hope though. Now he not only had one, but two candidates for the next Symbol of Peace.

*A few hours later...*

Izuku woke up to the lights of the hospital. He felt a terrible headache set in. When he looked down at his own body the first thing that caught his eye was the cast surrounding his right arm. 'That doesn't look good.'

He then heard the door open, and saw a doctor holding a note pad walk in. When the doctor saw that the boy had woken up he went up to him. "Oh, you're awake. That's good."

Izuku groggily spoke. "What happened to everyone."

The doctor gave Izuku a small smile. "You're classmates are all fine, but you gave us quite the scare. You're broken arm and ankle were easy to deal with, but you're bodies lack of energy was what made us worthy." The doctors smile faded. "When you were brought here your heart beat was dangerously slow and you were barley breathing. You're lucky to have made it through."

Izuku's eyes widened. He was gonna die? Still everyone was saved and that gave him peace of mind. "When can I leave."

Th doctor looked down at his notepad. "Well you're not as bad as you should be. UA did send in Recovery Girl to see what she could do, but with all the energy you lost the best she could do was fix your smaller injuries move your ankle farther ahead the healing process. You'll still experience some pains while walking tomorrow, but for now the pain killers should make it easy for you to walk. There's also a crutch by your bed. I do still recommend you contact your mother to pick you up. There's a phone at the front counter you can use."

Izuku nodded. "Thank you sir."

The doctor then turned to leave. "No problem kid. Get some rest you've earned it."

Izuku watched the doctor leave, but he couldn't sit still. He got up from his bed, and he felt his ankle stiffen, as he set his weight onto it. It was definitely gonna hurt in the morning.

He made his way down to the ground floor. When he arrived he felt his head spin when he heard many voices call out to him.

"Midoirya!"

He saw four of his classmates come up to him. Iida was the first on the scene. "Midoriya, you had us all worried. We didn't hear pleasant things."

Uraraka was next. "Are you sure you should be up? Your ankle was bandaged up."

Izuku tried to give them some assurance. "The doctor said I'm ok to walk with the crutch, but I probably shouldn't walk too often."

Tokoyami nodded in understanding. "We assumed something like that was going to occur, so we thought to bring you this." He then held up Izuku's bookbag.

Izuku looked at it surprised. "You guys brought me my stuff?"

Yaoyorozu nodded. "Yes, we thought it would be best to bring them. Sadly, we couldn't get your digivice back. It was taken to the support department for a new lens. But we did get this for you." She then pulled out Izuku's phone."

Izuku was a little confused until the screen lit up and reveled the tear filled faces of his knights. "IZUKUUUU!"

Izuku took his phone back and gave them all a small smile. "Guys, it's ok now. I'll be fine."

Impmon then spoke through his sobs. "Ye-yeah, but... Veemon... got real worried, and-and the doctor said you've might have died, and-and... he was just so worried about youuuuuuu!"

Veemon was trying to wipe the tears from his eyes with his arm. "Shut up. You were worried too."

Guilmon then yelled at Izuku with tears running down his cheeks. "Izuku! If I find out that you're not supposed to be walking at all then I'm gonna smack ya! You got that! Don't do something like that again!"

Agumon and Gabumon then spoke together. "Were sorry we couldn't stop that demon guy from hurting you!"

Dorumon then spoke with a similar apology. "If I wasn't hit by that attack then you'd at least be able to use your arm."

Izuku looked down at the screen saddened. He then pressed his phone against his chest while he stared at the floor. "It wasn't your fault guys. You're the reason so many people made it out alive." Tears then began to fall from his eyes. "I should be thanking you not forgiving you. You guys are my best friends, and nothings gonna change that."

Izuku's classmates offered their smiles, as they saw their reunion. The bond they all had really was like family. After that the four helped Izuku make his way home, and he'd need the rest because he'd have some important things to do tomorrow.

*The next day...*

Midoriya was sitting down in a train cart thinking about what had happened. When woke up he got two emails. The first was one telling everyone that school would be out for the next two days. The second was odd though, it was direct email to him asking him to come to the teachers office. A part of him was worried about what that could mean.

Izuku looked down at his phone to talk with his knights. "Alright guys we decided to talk about what happened yesterday. So Dorumon, Agumon, Gabumon, you guys got any ideas?"

Dorumon nodded. "We believe it's what we've been looking for."

Izuku had thought something similar, but he wanted to know if was alone in that thought. "So it's the limit of your power?"

Agumon nodded. "Yeah. It was weird, but when we were Omegamon we felt complete."

Gabumon agreed. "We didn't expect it, but it does explain a few things."

That made Izuku remember something. "Alphamon called himself Royal Knights Designation 1. Did you guys have something similar?"

Agumon and Gabumon then looked at each other and nodded. The screen was filled with light, and when it faded Omegamon stood behind the screen.

Omegamon nodded to Izuku's question. "Yes. Royal Knights Designation 2: The Dual Advisor, Omegamon."

Izuku looked down at the screen contemplating what it all meant. First they were just knight, but now their Royal Knights? A new title did seem fitting for one reason. 'Alphamon is definitely mega level, but he's way beyond WarGreymon and MetalGarurmon, so having a new classification could come in handy.'

He didn't have much more time to think about it, as the train was approaching his stop. He put his phone away and grabbed the elbow crutch he brought to help him walk.

He made his way onto the campus, and walked to the room the email told him about.

When he arrived he got nervous. He knew what this was. He was called to the teachers lounge, and that meant that he was in trouble. He gulped and knocked on the door.

He then jumped when the door was suddenly opened by All Might. "AH, YOUNG MIDORIYA. GOOD TO SEE YOU."

Izuku did his best to respond. "Uh, yeah it's good to see you ok All Might. Uh. I was called here?"

All Might gave a quick nod. "THAT'S RIGHT. WE HAVE MUCH TO DISCUSS." He then stepped to the side to let Izuku enter.

When Izuku walked in he saw two small couches at opposite sides of a small table. When he saw who was sitting on one of the couches his jaw fell. "AH, you'r-!"

A voice then quickly cut him off. "That's right. But you don't what I am. I could be a mouse, a dog, or even a bear. But those things don't matter because I'm the principle."

The principle was a stout man has the head of a mouse with circular black eyes, a large scar over the right one, relatively rectangular-shaped ears with pale pink insides slanting outwards from the top of his head, and an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. He was completely covered by white fur. He had dog-like paws with pink pads, and a thin tail like that of a cat. He wore an outfit fitting of his standing as principle.

All Might then walked and stood next to the couch the principle had sittin' down at. "YES. NOW TAKE A SEAT YOUNG MIDORIYA. PRINCIPLE NEZU AND I WOULD LIKE TO BEGIN."

Izuku nodded and sat on the other couch. His face made it obvious how worried he was.

Nezu could see this. "I suppose you're curios, and that can't be helped. I assure you you're not in trouble."

Izuku was surprised. "Wait, I'm not? But I used my quirk against villains when I wasn't supposed to."

Nezu nodded. "Yes you did, but no one needs to know that. As far as the media is concerned all students only used their quirks to defend themselves."

Izuku was thankful. He thought this might have been the end of is time at UA. "Thank you sir." Then the obvious question came to him. "Then why am I here?"

All Might then lifted up two fingers. "TWO REASONS. THE FIRST IS CONCERNING THE SCHOOLS SAFTEY."

Nezu nodded. "That's right. You see, even though UA is filled with all kinds of security a breach like this demands more."

Izuku then tilted his head. "What do I have to do with that?"

Nezu then had glint in his. "Well your knights are digital."

Izuku's eyes widened. "Wait, you, want, knights? Hold on. Why? That doesn't- I don't"

All Might then cut the boy off with worry. "BREATH YOUNG MIDORIYA. LET THE PRINCIPLE EXPLAIN."

Izuku then took a deep breath and nodded.

Nezu then elaborated on what he wanted. "You see we need workers who can monitor our school in a way we can't. You're quirk will give us the opportunity to watch all our students and address any emergencies in wider scope. So then, would you like to lend us your knights? Of course they'll be relieved of duty whenever you begin your training at your hero classes and when you leave school."

This was serious. If Izuku said yes then he'd leave a part of the schools security to his knights... all of his knights. That idea didn't comfort him for a combination of reasons. Still if he said no then he'd be letting the school deal with a blind spot he could cover.

Izuku then felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He let out a sigh and took it out.

Almost immediately Impmon appeared on the screen. "Let us go! It sounds like so much fun!"

Veemon nodded. "Yeah. It'll actually give us something to do."

Guilmon then came in with his own agreement. "Your pocket has been feeling a little cramped lately."

Izuku had serious thoughts about it, and he came to a conclusion. "Alright."

Impmon was gonna scream in excitement, but Izuku cut him off. "I do have one condition though."

Nezu was fascinated by that. "Oh. And what would that be?"

What Izuku said next shattered several hopes. "For now, I'll only allow Royal Knights to work security. As programs they'll be the most efficient. Sorry if that disappoints you since there's only two of them at the moment."

Nezu kept his smile going. "No need to worry. Considering they'll be the best I'm sure it will enough for now. That does make me hopeful that you gain more soon."

Izuku nodded, as he put his phone away. "Thank you for understanding."

All Might then spoke up. "NOW IT'S MY TURN!"

Izuku's attention quickly shifted. The second thing was related to All Might? Whet ever it could be made him nervous. He wasn't mentally prepared for something like this.

All Might then hesitated. He was going to do something he wasn't used to. The secret of what happened years ago wasn't meant to be shared, but there was no other choice. "ALRIGHT YOUNG MIDORIAY, JUST DON'T FREAK OUT."

Izuku didn't have time to react, as his eyes widened when he saw steam coming off of All Might. What he saw next was practically traumatizing.

All Might had turned into a skeleton of his former self

At the sight Izuku let out a scream, and began trying to make sense of it all. "I-wait-you. What happened?! You deflated."

All Might had expected this. "Look kid you gotta cal-" He was cut off when blood then began to poor out off his mouth.

Izuku let out another scream.

All Might then tried to explain himself. "You know how guys at the pool are always suckin' in and flexin'and tyin' to look buff? I'm like that."

Izuku still couldn't believe it. "This can't be real!"

Nezu nodded. "Yes it is rather unbelievable isn't it? All Might could you show him?"

All Might let out sigh. "Alright. Remember kid this is a secret, so don't go telling anyone."

Izuku didn't still didn't have time to question it when All Might lifted up his shirt. Izuku let out a quick gasp at the sight.

All Might had revealed a large scar that looked like a puncture wound on his left side that stretched out to the center of his chest. "Pretty gross, right? I got this in a big fight five years back. Half of my respiratory organs were destroyed, and I lost my whole stomach. All the surgeries and the after effects have left me emaciated. I can't be fixed. Up until yesterday I could only do hero work for about three hours a day. The rest of the time this is what I look like.

Izuku didn't know how to react. This was all to much for him. All he could do was ask questions. "No way... Five years ago? So does that meant it was the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?"

All Might put his shirt back down. "You really do know your stuff. But no, that guy landed some hits, but none of it was this serious. The guy who did it was a lot tougher."

Nezu then spoke to give Izuku a wider perspective. "You see almost no one in the world knows about this. Everything possible was done to insure word never got out."

All Might seemed almost regretful of something now. "I'm supposed to be the guy whos always smiling, right? I'm the Symbol of Peace. People everywhere have to think I'm never afraid. But now, I smile to hide the fear inside. Now it's just a brave face I put on when the pressure is high."

Nezu then stopped All Might before he could continue. "Come now All Might, there's no need to be pessimistic. There something more important to cover after all."

All Might nodded. He then looked at Izuku seriously. "Listen up kid cause I have a question."

Izuku sat straight. He was preparing himself for whatever question might come.

He wouldn't like the question. "What does your quirk give you?"

Izuku's eyes widened. Most people would think the question was flawed. Everyone gets something out of their quirk, right? Izuku looked down almost seeming ashamed. "I... don't get anything for myself. My quirk takes from me and gives to others. My knights are the only reason it's so powerful."

All Might heard what he needed to. "So in other words, you're powerless."

Izuku didn't like it, but it was true. When in battle he was a target, and an easy one at that.

All Might then said something to lift the boys spirits. "So I was right about you. Imagine my surprise when an otherwise powerless boy tried to use himself as a shield to protect other who were stronger than him. Now that's inspirational."

Izuku then looked back up to All Might. His hero. The man who inspires him.

All Might then continued. "There are stories about every hero. How they became great. Most have one thing on common. Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think. Almost on their own."

At that moment memories began to flood into Izuku's mind. Everything that had ever happened before he got into UA. The words of his old classmates. "Man, your quirk is so cool, you just send guys to do stuff for you." "That's sounds pretty lazy doesn't it? You'll just be hogging up the attention from people who actually did something." "I don't care how strong his quirk is, I bet he can't do anything on his own. I don't care how good his grades are. He probably uses his quirk to cheat anyways." The loudest voice was Bakugo's. "Your little freaks can't protect you forever. Watch I'll be the next big thing, while you and your monster will be shown there place."

Ever since he started going to UA people had finally begun to see him as an individual, but this was different. The greatest hero in the world was acknowledging him.

All Might then said something few would here. "Young man, I deem you worthy of my power. My quirk is yours to inherit."

Izuku's thought process stopped. He looked at All Might, and gave the obvious response. "Huh? Wait. What do you mean inherit? Inherit what?"

All Might then gave a laugh. "You should see your face right now. "You should see your face right now. Don't worry, I'm not gonna force this thing on you." He then lifted a finger towards the roof. "Listen well young man. The choice is yours." He then pointed at the boy for emphasis. "Will you accept my awesome power or not?"

Izuku wasn't any less confused. "What are you talking about?"

Nezu then tried to get the boy up to speed. "Well you know how journalists like to speculate on what All Might's quirk is, yes? Many believe it to be super strength or invulnerability. But as you know when the question is asked he always deflects it."

All Might nodded. "That's because the world needs to believe that their Symbol of Peace is a natural born hero, like any of them. But I'm not. There's nothing natural about my ability. You see, I wasn't born with this power. It's a sacred torch passed on to me. From someone else."

Izuku stared only more confused. "Someone gave you this Quirk? No way."

All Might wasn't done. "Yes way. And you're next. I can give you my abilities"

Izuku then tried to make sense of it all. "Wait. Hold on, this is a lot to process. It's true that there's a lot of debate as to what your quirk actually is. Nobody's ever figured out. It's one of the worlds greatest mysteries. People are constantly talking about it online. But, well, the idea of passing on a quirk or inheriting it just doesn't make any sense to me. I've never heard anything like that before. Powers are supposed to be unique to each individual. I mean, since the first superpowers, no one's ever been able to just give someone else their power like a present. That's crazy. If this is true, it would cause us to rethink everything we know about quirks to begin with. All bets are off the table." Izuku only continued to mumble.

Nezu looked at All Might. "Isn't it nice to know that one of our students has such an active mind?"

All Might sighed. He then attempted to catch the boy's attention. "Stop nerdin' out!" Which worked. All Might then tried to refocus the boy's mind. "You'll have to adjust your reality and accept this new truth! I can transfer my quirk to someone else. And that's just one facet of my secret abilities. The true name of my power is One for All. one person improve the power, then hands it off to another person. It continues to grow as it's passed along. It is this cultivated power that allows me to save those who are in need of a hero. The truth behind my strength."

Izuku was starting to let it all sink in. "And you want to pass it on to me?"

All Might nodded. "What you did yesterday proves to me that you have what it takes to be a hero. Well, what's it gonna be?"

Izuku thought seriously. For a long time he wanted to be the next Symbol of Peace. To be a hero just like All Might. He could fight along side his knights. Individuals with power unlike any other hero. Any other hero... Izuku had his answer. He looked up to All Might with a determined look. "I'm honored by your proposition, but I refuse."

All Might then smiled. "Great! First we'll have to-" His smile the snapped away. "Wait. What?"

Nezu was also surprised. 'He refused. How interesting.'

Izuku then explained himself. "I know I'm probably being an idiot for refusing, but I'm not the one who should have this. I have my knights who work so hard to get stronger. I can't accept this because I want to earn my place beside them! I can't have someone else do the work for me not when I owe it to them to put just as much work in."

All Might was both surprised, and disappointed. Still he did say the boy had a choice. "Aright, I understand." He then gave the student a smile. "I still do have an offer for you."

Izuku then turned his head. "Why?"

Nezu then gave reason. "You see Midoriya we believe you may be targeted by the leader of the League of Villains, so it would be smart to offer extra training."

Izuku nodded in understanding. "So, I'll still be your disciple, but not your successor?"

All Might then confirmed the thought. "Yes. That is if you'll accept. This training is meant to prepare for when the worst comes."

Izuku understood what this meant. By fighting back he put a target on himself, and he'd have to be ready. "Alright. I'll do it."

Nezu nodded approvingly. "Very good Midoriya, now please accept this in return." Nezu then walked to a desk, and grabbed something from a drawer. When he returned he placed the digivice on the table in front of Izuku.

Izuku looked down on it thankful. He then grabbed it now realizing how special it had become. "Thank you."

Nezu nodded "Of course. If you want you can visit Recovery Girl to see what more she could heal."

Izuku nodded. "Thank you. Both of you."

The two teachers nodded, and watched as he left.

All Might then looked down at Nezu. "You know, you said less then I expected sir."

Nezu had a simple response. "It's your quirk"

*An hour later...*

Izuku walked with his now healed foot on the sand. He looked at the mounds of dented and destroyed garbage. This was once a beautiful beach, but overtime the currents pushed in the garbage from the ocean inland. this was Dagobah Municipal Beach Park." Izuku looked down at his phone, and then held it forward.

In a bright flash of light all of his knights appeared.

Guilmon was turned around, confused."Izuku what are we doing out here. You've already been through a lot today."

Impmon the scoffed. "Yeah and passed up the chance of a generation."

Veemon elbowed him as a response. Izuku looked out to the setting sun. "There's one more thing I want to do." He then began to walk leaving his knights behind him. He then turned around, and looked at his knights. "Dorumon, Agumon, Gabumon. Please step forward."

Gabumon was now curious. "Izuku what are we doing."

Izuku then looked up at the sky. "Do you guys remember what we did here?"

Agumon tried to answer. "Train?"

Dorumon then gave a more sentimental answer. "This is where we all swore on the oath."

Izuku gave a node. "That's right. Could you three digivolove?"

The three nodded.

Dorumon was surrounded by three rings of code, and was enveloped by a white orb. "Dorumon warp digivolve to..."

Agumon and Gabumon were surrounded by their own rings of code, and the same light enveloped them.

"Agumon..."

"Gabumon..."

"warp jogress digivolve to..."

When the lights faded the Royal Knights stood.

"Alphamon."

"Omegamon."

The two could feel the power of their evolution flow through them.

Although Izuku looked up at them their eyes spoke how they saw each other as equals.

Izuku's eyes only became more determined. "Pleas take the knee."

The two towering powers then kneeled before the boy, and bowed their heads.

Izuku then held forward a hand. "Do you two swear to do your duty as knight?"

The two answered together. "We swear."

Izuku pushed on with this new covenant. "Do you swear to rise when the time is right?"

The two once again answered together. "We swear."

Izuku then looked at the two not only as the strongest, but as two individuals who needed each other "Do you swear to never leave a fellow knight behind in their time of need?"

The two then answered knowing this would be one they wouldn't break. "We swear."

Izuku then thought back to what he wanted to be. " Do you swear to be the light of hope when the sea of despair rises?"

The two understood that this was what Izuku wanted. "We swear."

Izuku then remembered what had happened in the USJ, and how important it was to give every thing you had. "Do you swear to keep fighting even when pain shoots through you?"

The two remembered the moments they became knights. The desperation, the pain, but the triumph, and how their victory sung. It made them only more determined. "We swear."

Izuku then thought of everything it meant to be a hero. "Do you swear to give everything you have to saving the innocent?"

The two pictured how scared Izuku looked in the USJ, and knowing that others could go through the same thing. It gave them their answers. "We swear!"

Izuku then remembered the face and power Daemon showed "Do you swear to never stand down when faced with great evil?!"

The two had made up their minds. There was no other answer for them. "We swear!"

Izuku then raised his hand into the sky. "Then rise Lord of The Empty Seat and Dual Advisor, for now you truly are Royal Knights!"

The two raised themselves, and looked down at Izuku once more.

The other three knights watched with wonder and pride. Friends they have known for their whole lives now rose to something they had never dreamed of.

This was the begging of a new age of royalty.

And it's over. Sorry if that felt long, I just had to get this stuff out of the way. So... Izuku won't get One for All. I know it feels a little wrong, but trust me I have plans. Especially since All Might still wants to train him. Sorry if you're a little disappointed. Anyway next chapter will also have a lot of original stuff to go through, so that's something to look forward to. Anyway so what do you think of Omegamon's designation? I know it doesn't fit with a lot of the canon material, but a lot of them won't. Now let's look at some interesting reviews.

First up is from CasualFictionWriter23.
"Say, it's a bit out of place, but do you have Bandai Figure Rise Digimon?" Man, I wish. That'd be so cool. I might get one eventually.

The next one comes from a guest account called Ed.
"will izuku be able in the future be able give power to their version of digidestined?" I'm going to answer this like I know what it means. No he will not.

Once again I would like to say that their is a poll in my account. Vote on it if you want. Remember that you guys decide what happens. Now have a nice rest of your day.
