Alright, let's go! The Sports Festival stops for no man, so I don't plan on stopping either. Today is the mash of the Cavalry Battle. Some things will change; others won't, but I hope you enjoy either way. Also, remember that I do not own My Hero or Digimon so support the original releases.

Chapter 12: Plan A, B, C, and Z

The exciting energy of victory ran rampant. As Izuku let out a heavy breath he brought his finger back down and looked at Raidramon with a smile. "Ready to keep winning."

Raidramon looked up at Izuku with his own smile. "Let's do it." In a flash of light, he then returned to the Digivice.

A group of voices then spoke of Izuku's newfound victory.

The first was filled with fascination. "This is interesting."

The second was starting to develop ideas. "I think it's obvious that Midoriya's stock is about to go up."

The third seemed almost excited by the possibilities in his mind. "Indeed. Considering his quirk he'd be easy to advertise wouldn't you think?"

The second voice agreed. "Yeah, any agency would see him as a golden goose."

The first had already begun to form ideas. "With all the creatures he seems to have you could market them along with Midoriya's strategical approach for maximum effect."

These three were students from the Business course who were allowed to not participate in the major event and sell things at the festival instead.

Bakugo grabbed onto his forearm in both rage and pain. "Deku... No way... Not again." He was so close. His chance to win was right there, but Deku kept coming back no matter what he did.

Todoroki let out his own heavy breathes, as he looked at Midoriya.

Tokoyami then came up to Izuku to congratulate him. "It seems we both made it in the top ten. You really are solidifying your status."

Izuku nodded nervously. "Yeah, we both did great. Still, do you have to keep reminding me of that?"

Next came Uraraka. "Midoriya! That was amazing!

Izuku then turned to her seeing how winded she was. "Oh, thank you."

Uraraka then let out her own tired breath. "It's so cool you got first place, I'm jealous!"

Izuku gave a small smile, as he put a hand on his head. "Uh. It wasn't much." 'I just hope it's worth the headache. Swapping like that repeatedly was bound to give me whiplash.'

Iida had arrived before Uraraka but was mumbling to himself in shame. He had a speed quirk and he couldn't make it into the top five? How was he supposed to make his brother proud like that?

Finally arrived Yaoyorozu who passed the tunnel, panting. "How could this happen."

Latched onto her back was Mineta who laughed pleased. "Two birds with one stone. I'm a genius!"

Yaoyorozu then turned displeased. "You are the worst!"

The group looked quietly.

Izuku then approached Yaoyorozu. He then looked down at Mineta with a serious expression that seemed to express more rage than seemed possible. "Down, now."

Mineta looked up at Izuku shaken to his core. Was this the same guy? He gulped. "Yes sir." He then got off of Yaoyorozu and backed away.

The others were as surprised as Mineta was terrified.

Uraraka spoke first. "What just happened?"

Tokoyami had some sense of an idea. "Perhaps the form in which he brings Impmon under control."

Izuku then let out a breath before turning to look at Yaoyorozu as himself again. "You ok?"

Yaoyorozu was still shocked and confused. "Uh, yeah. What was that?"

Izuku was now also confused. Until he realized what he had done. "Oh, uhm. We just call it "The Stare". Dorumon and I use it when the others are being a little too reckless. I don't use it as often as he does though."

Yaoyorozu had only more questions now. Could that be taught? Who started doing it first? Those could wait though. "I see. Well, thank you."

Izuku then gave a small nervous smile. "Well, we better get going. We don't have long before the next event."

Yaoyorozu then followed close behind. "Oh, right."

Once the last of the students arrived at the finish line Midnight began to move things along. "The first game for the first-years has now ended, what a game it was! Now let's take a quick look at the standings, shall we?"

A holographic screen then appeared showing the list of students who made it into the first forty-two places.

Midnight then explained. "Only the top forty-two will advance to the next round. But don't be too let down if you didn't make the cut? We've prepared other opportunities for you to shine. Now the real fun is about to begin. The chance for you to really move into the limelight!"

The same screen that showed the slot last time reappeared with the slot spinning once more.

Midnight then began to build the anticipation. Let's see what we have in store next. Will your wildest fantasies come to life? What could it be? The waiting is torture. Prepare yourselves for this!"

On cue, the slot stopped spinning to reveal the words "Cavalry Battle".

Kaminari didn't seem the most excited. "Cavalry battle? I'm terrible at those."

Asui was curious. "Hm, it's not an individual event. I wonder how they'll split us up."

Midnight then began to explain and the screen behind her began to show images to help. "The participants will form teams of two-to-four people as they see fit. In theory, it's basically the same as a regular playground game. But there is one difference. Each player has been assigned a point value based on the optical course."

Sato had begun to understand. "So it's a point-based system like in the entrance exam. That's pretty simple."

Uraraka was also starting to put things together. "So that means each team will have a different point value based on which members are on it.

Ashido agreed. "Uh-huh."

Midnight wasn't too pleased with the students trying to do her job. "Maybe you should shut up and let me explain things to you!"

The screen behind her then showed the names of the students in order of how they placed in the race. Next o their placement were numbers.

Midnight then went back to her explanation. "Now, then. The point assignments go up by increments of five starting from the bottom. For example, 42nd place is worth five points and 41st place is worth ten."

Izuku had already begun thinking of ideas on what to do. 'So that means I have two-hundred and ten points. it's a lot, but if I pick recklessly I could start with fewer points than others.'

Midnight then had a special addition. "And the point value assigned to the first place contestant is ten million!"

Izuku's thought process snapped when he heard that. He now realized he was twice the target. "Ten million?" He could feel the leering eyes of those around him. If he was beaten then anyone could take the lead.

Midnight seemed very pleased. "That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!"

Izuku gulped. He should have seen this coming. I was UA after all. 'Being at the top means everyone will be chasing after you. I get it.'

Midnight then began to fully explain the rules. "Now, these are the rules you'll abide by: The game itself will last fifteen minutes. Individual point values will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much you're worth Thanks to headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. And another thing. Even if your headband is taken or your team falls down, you can keep playing until time is up."

Yaoyorozu was also trying to come up with ideas. "So it'll be anyone's game."

Sato had made a count in his mind. "And since there are 42 contestants, there'll be ten to twelve teams fighting on the field the entire time."

Aoyama had made an obvious analysis. "Sounds hard."

Ashido had also gotten her own ideas. "So, if you lose your headband at the beginning, you have more time to make up a plan."

Asui had a counter for that thought. "I dunno Mina. Maybe we should wait and see how the teams turn out before we start strategizing.

Midnight was getting ready to give the final word. "You may use your quirks as much as you like. But there are still rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap you with a red card. You'll be disqualified!" The screen behind her then changed to a timer that started at fifteen minutes. "Now, you've got fifteen minutes to build your teams. I recommend you get started."

Izuku wasn't focusing on anything in particular. He had to make a team while he had all the points needed to win. Who was gonna team up with the prime target? 'No ones gonna wanna join when I got these ten-million stupid points.'

That was until he heard two voices calling him.

When Izuku turned to look many people had gone off to make their teams, so he could see Uraraka and Tokoyami walking up to him.

The two of them then expressed the same idea. "Let's team-up."

IZuku's eyes then jetted out tears. "You guys! Are you sure? Even though I'll turn you guys into a target? Everyone will be after us."

Uraraka had something of a plan for that. "If we run away the whole time, then we'll win, right?"

Izuku's tears then cleared out. "Um, you might be underestimating everyone."

That didn't seem to matter to Uraraka. "Phooey! Anyway, I think it's better to team up with people you like!"

Both Izuku and Tokoyami had to squint from the sheer brightness of that statement.

Uraraka was confused. "huh? Are you guys ok? Why do you look like that."

Izuku shook it off to respond. "It's uh, it's nothing." He then turned to Tokoyami. "So why did you want to join."

Tokoyami's answer surprised the other two students. "I need you in the finale round. This game requires reliance on others, and that's not how I wish to face you. Instead, I want to see us both enter the final round, so that we may see who is stronger."

Izuku hadn't expected that. Still, he needed someone like Tokoyami if an evasive plan was going to be used. That gave him an idea. "Alright then. I have a plan, but we need one other person."

They then approached the one Izuku had in mind. "Iida?"

Shortly after gaining Iida's attention, Izuku began to explain his plane. "The three of us would be horses with Tokoyami as rider and with Iida in the front. Using Uraraka's quirk, the rest of us would be way lighter, so we'd be able to maneuver around really easily. No one would catch us. And With Tokoyami as rider if anyone does get close he has Dark Shadow for protection, and my knights could solidify the defense." Izuku then looked at Iida trying to see if he'd go with it. "I know it's not the best thought out, but it's the only evasive plan I could think of this fast."

Once more Iida could see Izuku's strategical brilliance. "A good strategy, but I'm sorry. I'm afraid I must refuse your offer."

The others were in a mix of shock and confusion.

Iida then explained himself. "Since this, all started, I've seen the divide between the two of us in terms of skill and power. Please don't take this as an insult. You're a great friend and a spectacular leader, but if I continue to follow you, I'll never get stronger." He then looked at Izuku with determination. "Bakugo and Todoroki have challenged you already, but they aren't the only ones who see you as a rival." He then turned to walk away. "Midoriya, I'll try my best to defeat you."

Uraraka was still fairly surprised. "Iida..."

Tokoyami could sympathize. While what he wanted was the same as Iida he wanted it in a different way.

Izuku could understand as well. Like he said he would rise, but that didn't mean others didn't want to either. Still, Izuku had begun to realize that slowly everyone was becoming an enemy. They were at the top, so they'll have to run to stay alive.

Someone had then seen Izuku and was making a slow approach while they giggled. "Oh, perfect you're still alone. And you're the star."

Izuku turned around to see a pink-haired girl with goggles.

Suddenly she came up to his face. "Team up with me person in first place!"

Izuku was surprised by the sudden approach. "So close! Who are you?!"

She then backed away a little allowing Izuku to see the crazy amount of support items she has on her.

The girl then introduced herself. She took off her goggles to reveal her yellow eyes with crosses instead of irises. "I'm a student from the support course. Name's Mei Hatsume."

Uraraka then recognized her. "Oh! You're the weirdo from the obstacle course."

Hatsume ignored her. "We haven't met, but I'd like to use your current fame to my personal advantage. And I wanted a closer look at your support item."

Izuku wasn't expecting the girl's straightforwardness. "That's direct."

Hatsume then once more got closer. "If I team up with you, then I'll be in the spotlight! Part of the team everyone is keeping their eyes on. That means my super little cute babies Will inevitably be seen by the big company CEO's who're tuning in to the Sports Festival. And following that line of reasoning, this is the best way for me and my marvelous gadgets to get recruited."

Izuku could keep up with all that, but something confused him. "Ok, but what was that second reason you wanted to join?"

Hatsume's eyes then lit up as she sped past Izuku taking the Digivice and accompanying earpiece. "This looks like the most intense interface ever!" She then quickly put them on and saw the world change around her. "Woah! Look at all this information! Night vision, vitals stats, a compass, and even a weather tracker!"

Uraraka and Tokoyami looked at Izuku confused. Why did the Digivice have that many secondary functions?

Izuku wasn't too pleased. "Hey! Give that back!" He then tried to take the Digivice back, but it she just slide away.

Hatsume then seemed to type on thin air. "Incredible! Look at these programs! Their so crazy I can't even read them!"

Izuku was still trying to get his support item back. "That's because it uses a programing language I made!"

Hatsume then shot in front of Izuku amazed. "Really! What's the benefit! How much information can it store? How adaptive is it? How hard is it to learn?"

Impmon then appeared in a portrait in the Digivice's interface. "Hey! Who are you? Give the Digivice back to Izuku!"

Hatsume's attention then immediately shifted to the knight. "Ooh, who are you? I didn't know this had onboard AI!"

Using Hatsume's distraction to take the Digivice back. "It has six." He then put it back on and tried to get to the point. "Anyway, you said you wanted to join our team."

Hatsume then jumped to another point of focus. "That's right! You three would benefit greatly from having someone like me." She then brought out a crate, opening it revealed several support items. "The support course specializes in creating equipment that helps heroes deal with their quirks and enhance their skills. I packed a ton of powerful babies to bring with me so I'm sure you'll find something you like floating around my arsenal."

Izuku had to admit it did look impressive, and some things had gotten his attention.

Hatsume caught on to that. "Oh, I see one's caught your eye." She then pulled out a grey jetpack. "I based this on a certain hero's backpack. Though of course, I added my own twist."

Izuku quickly caught on. "Wait, I recognize that! Air Jet, the Buster Hero has one of those. I love that guy."

Hatsume was quick to jump onto Izuku's enthusiasm "Isn't he awesome?"

The two then began to talk about heroes and tech excitedly.

Tokoyami and Uraraka could only watch.

Tokoyami made an analysis. "They seem to get along well."

Uraraka was a little surprised. "What an attitude change."

Izuku looked down at the jet pack with a plane ready. "Alright, I have our plan B."

After talking about the plan for a while time had run out and it was time to begin.

Midnight seemed glad for that. "Oh, goody. It's time to get this party started."

Present Mic then began with his commentary. "After fifteen minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, 12 cavalry teams are preparing to go head-to-head! Come on, everyone get your hands in the air! It's time for an arena-thumping UA battle royale! Let me hear ya scream!"

Izuku put on his team battle, as he had taken the role of rider instead. His team was ready with a plan. "Let's go."

Present Mic then stoked the crowd's excitement. "Let's get this party started! One final countdown before the game starts! Three! Two! One!"

Midnight finished it to start the game. "Begin!

Teams of students then immediately rushed for Izuku all at once.

Tetsutetsu knew this would happen. "It's basically one big battle for ten-million points!"

Hagakure chuckled while shirtless. "I'll be taking that headband, Midoriya!"

Tokoyami then spoke of the situation. " They're not even giving us a chance, huh? Such is the fate of the pursued."

Uraraka was getting anxious. "This is it."

Tokoyami hoped this would work. "Make a choice Midoriya."

Hatsume was getting excited. "Here they come!"

Izuku had his plan of action. "Alright. We run away!"

Tetsutetso wouldn't allow that. "Oh no you don't"

His front horse then used his quirk to soften the ground and make it something like quicksand.

Izuku looked down surprised. "We're sinking." He then looked at Tetsutetsu's team. Specifically the pail boy in the front with no lips. 'It must be that guy's quirk.'

Uraraka was starting to panic. "It's no good, I can't get out."

Izuku then went straight to the plan. "Uraraka! Hatsume! Watch your faces!" He then pulled out a button and with a single press, the jetpack on his back roared to life and boosted the team off the ground.

Tetsutetsu was surprised and annoyed. "They flew?! Damn support course! After them!"

Hagakure quickly gave a command to her own front horse. "Jiro, now!"

Jiro turned. "I know!" She then launched her earphone jacks at Izuku.

Tokoyami then quickly unleashed Dark Shadow to block the attack.

Jirou wasn't pleased. "Stupid bird."

Tokoyami was on the opposite end. "Good job. Please continue to watch over our blind spots, Dark Shadow."

Dark Shadow took those orders without complaint. "Got it."

Izuku was glad with how well things were going. "This is so cool. Dark Shadow can handle our omnidirectional mid-range defense. Tokoyami he's amazing."

Tokoyami responded with humility. "You did choose me for this role."

Uraraka then told the others to prepare. "We're landing!" As the group approached the ground Uraraka used a pair of boots given to her by Hatsume called Hover Soles to slow down their landing. Once the group did they continued to run.

Izuku admitted that Uraraka was also impressive, as she was using her quirk to float everything except for herself and the equipment.

Hatsume then asked an important question. "So what do you think of my babies? Aren't they just precious? Cuteness can be Manufactured, you know."

Izuku smiled at the girl. "Excellent mobility. If I'm being honest I'd want some in my hero costume. Your babies are amazing, Hatsume!"

Hatsume was flattered. "Aw, thanks!"

Hagakure was starting to panic. "They're not that far away! Come on, Jiro! Full speed ahead!"

Sato then only made things worse when he noticed something. "Hey, wait! Hagakure! Your headband's gone!"

Hagakure had then just realized. "Huh? What?! Who? No!"

A blond boy from Class 1-B twirled the headband on his finger. "Well, that was easy."

Present Mic then commented on the stat of things. "Wow! Barely two minutes have passed since we started, and it's already a free for all! Yeah! Watch those headbands! You can even ignore the ten-million points and go after other chart-toppers!"

Izuku's attention was then grabbed by the cackling coming from behind.

Shoji was fast approaching with his arms obscuring his back.

Mineta's voice was then heard. "This is too easy. It's not a fight. It's more like a massacre!"

Izuku was confused by the sight. "It's Shoji! Is he all by himself? Where's his team?"

Tokoyami had another concern. "We need breathing room. We can't get trapped between multiple opponents."

Uraraka tried to help the team move forward, but her foot was stuck. She looked down and saw that the Hover Sole was stuck on something.

Izuku looked down worried. "What is something wrong?" He then saw the problem. "Wait, that's Mineta's ball. But where did it come from?"

Mineta's voice then grew louder. "From right over here. Hi Midoriya." He was taunting the other student as he hid behind Shoji's arms.

Izuku was surprised and impressed. "Is that even allowed

Midnight had a quick answer. "Judges say yes!"

From within the shadow of Shoji's arms, Asui's tongue shot out aimed for Izuku's head.

Izuku managed to quickly dodge.

When the tongue retracted Asui became visible. "Impressive moves as usual.

Izuku looked their way still thinking of their next course of action. "They've got Tsu in there too."

Quickly after Asui and Mineta shot out their attacks again.

Izuku was not having an easy time dodging the onslaught.

Present Mic couldn't resist the chance to comment. "Team Mineta's coming in like a tank, making clever use of how compact their members are!"

Even Tokoyami was becoming distressed. "Quickly. We must move!"

Izuku then quickly took the jetpack's activation button and quickly pressed it. It then once more began to boost them off of the ground, but because of Mineta's ball a part of the Hover Sole brock off.

Hatsume became distressed with that. "My baby's ruined!"

Izuku quickly responded. "Sorry! But at least we got away from them!"

A boom then echoed as Bakugo took flight by using his explosions. His current trajectory was Izuku's team.

Izuku looked down and his panicking hit its peak. "Kacchan!"

Bakugo quickly approached Deku ready to attack. "Don't think for a second that you're safe. I've got you!" He then quickly threw his arm forward.

Izuku tried to think fast. "Tokoyami!"

Dark Shadow then quickly moved to face Bakugo and take the explosion.

The crowd went wild and even Present Mic was surprised by that move.

Bakugo was more confused by Dark Shadow. "What the hell is that?" A strand of tap then clung onto his shoulder and pulled him down.

Present Mic then voiced his concern. "Bakugo has been separated from his horses! Is that even allowed?"

Sero reeled Bakugo back to their team.

Midnight then answered the commentator's question." He never touched the ground, so technically it's okay."

When Izuku's team landed but had a hard time directing themselves with a broken Hover Sole.

Izuku knew that they couldn't take to the skies again. They need to move defensively rather than evasively. "Alright, time for Plan C! Greymon! Growlmon!"

In a flash of light, Greymon appeared on the team's left side.

On the right appeared a creature that looked like a smaller WarGrowlmon except without the mechanical parts and with spikes on his forearms. The strange symbol had also appeared on his shoulders. This was Guilmon's champion form.

Izuku then issued out his orders. "Keep anyone who tries to get close away."

The two nodded in response.

Present Mic then commented on the appearance. "And there they are. Since the obstacle course, we got a comprehensive list of all of Izuku Midoriya's Knights, so we know what's going on. That orange dinosaur is the Champion level Knight Greymon. He's got lots of physical power and firepower to match. Watch out for his Mega Flame and Fire Wall attacks! The red guy is another Champion level Knight, Growlmon! This relentless demon dino is a more mobile Greymon, so watch out for moves like Exhaust Flame and Plasma Blade! Now that it's been seven minutes let's look at the rankings." What was seen surprised the crowd and him. "Hold on. Other than Midoriya, Class 1-A's not doing so hot. Even Bakugo is losing?"

Bakugo had his headband stolen by a blond boy from Class 1-B and he was still surprised by it.

The blond had also begun to taunt Bakugo. "Well you were in such a need to reach first place, but your efforts prove fruitless again. It must feel awful always coming up short."

Bakugo had enough of this guy and his little taunts. Now, he was really mad. Kirishima, we have a change of plans."

When Kirishima looked back he was shocked to see the vicious aura pouring out of Bakugo.

Bakugo had a new objective. "Before we take down Deku, we're gonna kill every one of these B-list idiots!"

Izuku's plan was working. With Greymon and Growlmon's breath attacks, no one would get close.

That was until two dividing walls of ice suddenly appeared separating the team.

Looking ahead Izuku saw Todoroki's team ready to confront him.

Present Mic then set the stage once more. "And now we've reached the halfway point of the game!"

Izuku let out a breath readying himself for what was to come. "I guess we both keep underestimating each other."

Present Mic then continued. "As the cavalry battle enters its second half, it's anyone's game! Class 1-B has made an unexpected showing, but who will wear the ten-million points in the end? That's the real question, sports fans!"

Tokoyami had his own comment to make. "I had thought this confrontation would come later in the competition. He seems to have it out for you, Midoriya."

Midoriya wouldn't take this sitting down. "The game is only halfway over. We can't stop now!"

Responding to his words both Greymon and Growlmon smashed through the ice walls.

Izuku's team then began to move back.

Todoroki wouldn't let them get away. "Iida, move forward."

Iida nodded and used his quirk to boost them toward Izuku.

Greymon and Growlmon wouldn't let them.

Greymon then began to generate an intense flame in his mouth and released it as a stream. "Mega Flame!"

Growlmon charged up warm air in his mouth that quickly ignited when he shot it out. "Exhaust Flame!"

Todoroki responded by shooting two large streams of ice that fought back against the flames creating a smokescreen. That was the cover his team would use to progress. He then gave out more orders. "Yaoyorozu. Be ready to protect us."

Yaoyorozu then began to create an object from her stomach and forearm. "On it!"

Todoroki then looked to his left side. "Kaminari."

Kaminari interrupted him with confidence/ "Oh I know what I gotta do."

Izuku's team had been separated from their major defense. Izuku knew what was coming. "Tokoyami get ready! Their all moving to attack!"

Like Izuku said several teams had now decided to make their move.

Kaminari was ready to fire. "I hope you made something strong, Yaoyorozu! Indiscriminate Shock. 1.3 million volts!" Lightning then fired out of Kaminari in all directions electrocuting everyone nearby, including Greymon and Growlmon.

The only ones who were safe were Todoroki's team who used a sheet of insolation, and Izuku's team who used Dark Shadow as a shield.

Todoroki then dropped the shit. "Only six minutes left. It's time to make a move." He then grabbed onto a spike made by Yaoyorozu, and shot ice through it, freezing the ground behind them. "Sorry, but there's no other way.

Present Mic then made his comments. "Look at that! He's not only stopped several teams but even Midoriya's Knights have been caught in the ice!"

Aizawa then pointed to something important. "But only after KAminari had immobilized them all using his electricity. In the obstacle course, he was surprised by how many people avoided his attack. He's adapting his strategy."

Present Mic then gave his fellow teacher a thumbs up. "Nice commentary!"

Todoroki then proceeded to take some headbands from 1-B students.

Izuku saw how fast approaching Todoroki was, and one Hover Sole wasn't giving them enough speed. Izuku placed a finger onto his earpiece hoping this next move would work. "Guys, initiate plan D!"

Tokoyami then tried to attack with Dark Shadow to keep them back, but Yaoyorozu blocked it quickly with a board.

Izuku had remembered what Tokoyami told him and with Yaoyorozu defending and Kaminari's light he knew how bad of a matchup this was.

Todoroki's team was fast approaching and had even been pushing Izuku into a wall. Victory was close at hand. Until they all felt a fast object dash by them. When they looked their victory seemed far less certain.

Present Mic even screamed out to this new protector. "Looky here folks! Team Midoriya has brought out one of the Mega level trump cards. WarGreymon!"

Todoroki then heard the shattering of ice and looked back to see another Knight arriving.

Present Mic couldn't resist this. "And it looks like he brought an Ultimate level friend to help him out. The now mechanized WarGrowlmon!"

Izuku was only a little relieved. Todoroki was still dangerous, and with more energy being used anything could happen.

Bakugo was in a relentless chase after the boy who had taken his headband. The boy had shown his impressive quirk which allowed him to copy abilities. Now, Kirishima's leg was stuck to the ground by a glue-like substance made by a 1-B student. Mina was in the process of melting that glue with her acid.

Bakugo was losing it. Still, there was a calmness to his fury. 'This isn't over. I'm gonna win! And I won't just make it to first place. I'll be the undeniable champion!'

Izuku's team was managing itself. Thanks to WarGreymon and WarGrowlmon Todoroki's ice was useless and getting through the Brave Shield was no easy task

Todoroki was having trouble deciding what to do next. 'He's counting on the fact that I won't use my left side and chose two Knights who specifically counter my ice. Even without them, Tokoyami can defend from Kaminari's electricity. There's not much time left. The bastard!'

Iida had a plan though. "Everyone, I have an idea. I'm gonna do something that'll make me useless to you. But it's worth it."

Todoroki didn't understand. "What are you gonna do?"

Iida then readied himself. "Make sure you get that headband. Brace yourselves. Hold on tight!" The jet of his engines then roared with a flame previously unseen. "Torque Over!" He then blasted further faster than anyone could predict. "Reciproburst!" He easily dashed passed the Knights, and before Izuku could react the headband was taken.

Present Mic shouted at the sight of such a turnaround. "Holy smokes! What speed! He became a blur! Why didn't he show a move like that in the preliminary?"

Todoroki was also curios. "Iida, what was that?"

Iida let out a heavy breath and then gave his answer. "Forced my torque and RPM into overdrive, which gave me explosive power! Unfortunately, the recoil stalls my engines for a while. It's a secret move I've been saving up. No one in the class knew about it." He then turned to look at Izuku. "I told you, Midoriya That I'd do my best to beat you."

The crowd then erupted with excitement and Present Mic was quick to ride the wave. "Insanity! This entire game was just turned completely on its head! Todoroki's team has the ten-million points, and Midoriya's team is suddenly left with nothing at all!

Izuku looked at Todoroki with a new fire in his eyes. 'I didn't think I'd have to use it, but this will be a good test run. It's time for plan Z!' "Wizardmon! Flamemon! MetalGarurumon! Alphamon!"

In an intense flash, two Knights had become six and the cheers of the crowd only grew. Present Mic couldn't believe it. "I can't believe it! Midoriya unleashed an army! Now, what can happen?!"

Aizawa was also surprised. "He's using Alphamon. Unlike the others, that's a Royal Knight far above the rest in power."

Todorik's team was now facing unrelenting power.

Alphamon raised a hand forward and a green circle appeared. "Soul Digitalization!" He then fired several orbs of light that hit the ground around Tokoyami's team kicking up a large cloud of dirt and smoke.

WarGreymon then appeared at Todoroki's right and MetalGarurumon at his left.

In a moment of instinctual defense, Tododroki's quirk activated on both sides.

The blond who had taken Bakugo's headband believed he was safe until he heard the student call out to him. "Doesn't he ever give up? Knowing you've been bested is an important part of being a hero." He then turned to look and saw Bakugo blast at him. He had to act fast. "Tsuburaba! Stop him!"

Tsubaraba was a brown-haired boy acting as the front horse. He took a deep breath and when he blew out a shield appeared in thin air, stopping Bakugo's approach.

Bakugo then proceeded to punch the shield to no effect.

Tsuburaba then mocked him a little. "You look pretty stupid fighting with air."

With one last punch, Bakugo smashed through the wall of air and managed to grab onto his headband and several others. He then leaped back and allowed Sero to catch him.

The team then retreated to defend their last headband.

Tsuburaba then looked up at the blond. "Don't worry Monoma we're still in fourth. It's fine. Kendo's been frozen and hasn't been a real player.

Monoma then gripped onto their last headband. "If we defend this to the death, we'll move forward."

Sero then made a complaint to their team's rider. "I told you to warn us before you jumped!"

Kirishima didn't think it mattered. "Whatever, this means we're advancing."

Bakugo wouldn't have it though. "We're not done!" He then began to repeatedly smack the back of Kirishima's head. "We're gonna be the indisputable champions of the game!"

Aizawa had his own commentary to make. "Class 1-B had a reasonable strategy, but there was one thing they forgot to consider."

Bakugo knew what to do. "I couldn't brace myself when I jumped earlier. Get closer! Well get our points back from this idiot, then go for the big one!"

BAkugo's passion and words seemed to light a fire in his team. They were ready to follow him even if this plan was crazy.

Bakugo then began to give out orders. "Elbows. Tape 'im!"

Sero then aimed his elbow and fired. "My name is Sero!"

Bakugo then continued. "Racoon eyes. Lay down some acid in the direction we're going."

Ashido complied with the order, but not without some fuss. "It's Mina Ashido!"

Using the tape and acid in conjunction the team slid forward.

Bakugo brought his hands back and let out an explosion that boosted them to be even faster.

Aizawa then finished his thought. "Class 1-B didn't take into account Bakugo's overwhelming tenacity."

In a swift move, Bakugo blasted away any defense and reclaimed his headband.

Bakugo then refocused his sights. "Now! We're going after Deku!"

To Todoroki time stood still for a moment. Fire and ice were ready to pour out of him and in that instant, he was blasted with the same things on opposite ends. Fire and ice were used against him. HE didn't have time to think, but something did catch his attention. 'My left side. What am I doing?'

Flamedramon then used the opening. "Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon then dashed past Todoroki and grabbed a random headband.

Wizardmon then took aim and charged electricity into his staff. "Thunder Cloud!' He then shot a bolt of lightning and shocked Todoroki's team. "How about a taste of your own medicine?!"

Flamedramon quickly dashed back to Izuku.

Izuku looked down at him hopeful. "Flamedramon?

Flamedramon seemed both anxious and angry. "Dang it! It's not it!" He then handed it to Tokoyami who then handed it to Izuku.

Izuku put it on without looking, already feeling the effect of having this many Knights out.

The crowd and Present Mic were going crazy. "Only eleven seconds and Team Midoriya is still on the assault. The game is almost over time for a countdown!"

Izuku knew they had to act. "Everyone, go!" His team then dashed forward and every Knight quickly dashed toward Todoroki.

Todorki then pulled out another insolation sheet. "Kaminari!"

Once more Kaminari shot his electricity in all directions slowing everyone down.

Bakugo then blasted through the ice. "Deku!" He then saw the situation. "What the hell?! Who got the headband?" Bakugo then blasted at Todoroki. "Dammit, Icy hot!"

Izuku reached out for Todoroki.

WarGreymon flew infront of Bakugo.

Flamedramon and MetalGarurmon aimed for the headbands.

WarGrowlmon kept Bakugo's team away.

Wizardmon was getting ready to fire again.

Alphamon was dashing toward Todoroki to block his next attack.

And at that moment everything would come together and- "Time's up!" The match would end and Bakugo fell onto the floor.

Present Mic then solidified what was said. And with that, the second round is officially over.

Izuku brought his hand back and let out a grunted breath as a light shined and his Knights returned.

Sero then came up to Bakugo a little worried. "Bakugo!"

Kirishima then expressed that concern. "Are you ok, man?"

Bakugo responded by yelling and slamming his fist against the ground.

Todoroki then got off his team with a small realization. "Dammit."

Present Mic then kept things going. "Now, let's take a look at who our top four teams are! In first, place Team Todoroki!"

Yaoyorozu let out a relieved breath. "We ended in first place, but it was too close for comfort."

Iida clutched his hand in regret. "I'm sorry. I let everyone down didn't I?"

Yaoyorozu denyed Iida's claim. "That's not true. You're the reason we won. Thank goodness for that special move of yours."

Present Mic then announced the next. "In second place, Team Bakugo!"

Ashido seemed disappointed. "Ugh. We were so close to first place."

Sero wouldn't complain. "Meh, sure. But we're movin' on, so it's all good."

Kirishima looked down a little nervous. "I don't think our leader would agree with you. Like at all."

Bakugo was now sat up and proceeded to scream in response.

Present Mic then announced the next ones. "In third place is Tetsute- Wait, what? It's Team Shinso? When did they come back from the dead?"

Hatsume with some gloom removed the jetpack from the harness Izuku was wearing.

Uraraka then approached him with Tokoyami. "Hey, Midoriya."

Izuku then turned to them sorrowfully. "Guys, I'm... really sorry."

The group then looked at him confused and pointed at his head.

Izuku then became confused and realized they were referring to the headband he was still wearing. He took it off and when he looked at it his eyes widened. "This is..." The headband was worth six hundred and fifteen points. "Flamedramon is this the one you got?"

Flamedramon responded confused. "Yeah. Why?"

Izuku answered. "Because it's enough!"

Present Mic then confirmed his statement. "And in fourth place is Team Midoriya!"

At that moment tears jet out of Midoriya's eyes again.

Present Mic then began a transition. "These four valiant teams will advance on to the final round!"

Inside of the Digivice realization was hitting Flamedramon. "I got the right one?!

Wizardmon then cheered. "Final round here we come!

Back in the real world, Todoroki looked at Izuku for a moment then at his left hand, and began to talk to himself. "I said I'd never use this to attack. But as soon as I was overwhelmed I broke my own promise. At this rate, he'll win and I'll end up exactly who he wants me to be."

Present Mic then continued. "Now, let's take an hour lunch break before we start the afternoon festivities! See ya soon! Hey. Eraser Head. Let's grab some food."

Aizawa had a simple response. "I'm taking a nap."

Present Mic then let out a tired breath.

The finals were coming and every student would not let themselves fail. Now they would call themselves only to steel their nerves when the time came. And Izuku would have to confront them all one after another.

Oh, this is a long one. Sorry, it took so long. As you can see I put a lot of effort into it, but next is the main attraction. I know I skipped out on the interaction, but this chapter is already super long and I'd rather have it as the start of the next one. So that was the Cavalry Battle. Watch out for plan Z because this isn't the only time it'll be brought up. Also, I added a very subtle hint for a future addition. Let's see if any of you can guess it. Now let's answer some questions and reply to some reviews.

First up is from the frequent asker SparkySparkypaw.
"
For the next knight, do you already have an idea of which digimon will be made by izuku, personally I want to see Hackmon" I already know who will be in the next set, so I don't really need recommendations. Also, I can't introduce Hackmon yet. Don't you think someone's missing?

Next is from a guest.
"What girl will you pair Izuku with in this story?" Now, I will admit that I have been slow with it, but the next chapter starts giving you hints.

Now, this isn't a question so much as it is one massive review from The Black Wolf of the Arks put down that has some stuff I'd like to discuss.
"it's a bit of a shame that Izuku didn't get One for All, not because I wanted to see him fighting with it, but bbecause I was hopping it would be assimilated by Izuku's quirk so that he could develop the X antibody" That was actually the original plan. That was how I was gonna go about the X-antibody but realized that it was such a big boost with almost no consequence. It just seemed cheap.
"just think about this: all the Royal Knights surrounding the imposing figure of their king (or emperor, actually), KaiserGreymon, it's sounds epic as hell." You got the right idea, but wrong mon and a little more metaphorical.
"you don't really need another V-mon for Ulforce V-dramon, you just need a Dracomon, then it could evolve into a blue Coredramon, then Wingramon and finally into Ulforce V-dramon." But I'm already gonna have two Dracomon. I thought that was obvious. I'm not gonna add a third one.

Also just for fun, I want to give you guys a half hint on which Knights will be in the next two sets. All sets have a specialization, so think about how they synergize. Now, to make a small announcement. Also, the reason this took so long was that I wanted to do something, but the timing didn't work out, and that led to a much bigger delay than I expected, but were here now. See you next time.
