All Kouta wanted was for Tanu to leave him alone!
Gaspard let out a squeal of fear as he ran through Breg Epona. "Leave me alone!"
Tanu gave a creepy cackle as he chased right behind Gaspard. "You know what I want~"
Another squeal left Gaspard's mouth. Tanu just doesn't give up and that's what scared Gaspard the most about the annoying beast. Despite Haseo and despite Silabus, Tanu always came back to Gaspard, especially when Gaspard was alone. Like he was tonight.
Gaspard feared he'd have to log out to get away from Tanu, but he didn't want to log out, he just finally got to log on for the first time in a week, yeah it was late and none of his usual friends were online, but he didn't want to log off!
Well, thank goodness, it seemed Silabus decided to play late just as well. "Silllabus!" He yelled for his best friend. Silabus was standing by weapons shop. Gaspard thought nothing of it as he barreled into his friends leg and immediately hid behind Silabus.
"Oh!" Silabus gasped and looked down at Gaspard. Gaspard shook while he grabbed at Silabus's pant leg. They locked eyes and Gaspard noted that Silabus looked…weird. Like something just wasn't right.
Still, Silabus planted his hand on Gaspard's head and lightly ruffled the area between Gaspard's dog-like ears. "Hello there." Was the soft whisper Silabus spoke to Gaspard. Silabus then smiled at Gaspard.
Tanu paused before his scowled and immediately squared his shoulders up. "You- You can't stop me this time!" Tanu stormed up to Silabus and pointed at him menacingly. "Out my way!"
"Excuse me?" Silabus looked taken aback by Tanu while he looked the beast up and down.
"You heard me you-you ugly human! Out of my way! I'm not scared of you anymore!"
"Silabus isn't ugly!" Gaspard immediately defended his friend. He then stuck his tongue out at Tanu. "Don't insult his looks because you're scared of him!"
The air between Silabus and Tanu became tense. "I see…" Silabus's tone changed. It became more serious maybe even deadly. When Gaspard looked up at his friend he could have sworn Silabus's eye color changed. Going from the usual light brown to almost black, but when Gaspard blinked it went back to light brown. "Tanu…" He spoke the name like it was the first time ever saying it.
Silabus then walked away from Gaspard and sauntered up slowly to Tanu. Even the way Silabus walked looked weird to Gaspard. Still, Silabus crouched down so he and Tanu where exactly eye-to-eye. Silabus was so tall compared to Tanu that when he crouched down his knees were practically touching his chest. Silabus said nothing. He just continued to stare intensely at Tanu.
Gaspard would learn only moments later that Silabus was actually messaging Tanu.
Gaspard would never learn what was in that message and that's what scared him because what happened next was just so out of character for Silabus it didn't make a lick of sense.
"It's not the first time I PK'd your ass! If you think you can take me in a one-on-one then you'll lose! Just because you're dating Haseo doesn't mean crap to me!" Tanu had all but spat in his enragement.
"Hm." Silabus then stood and crossed his arms over his chest while he looked down at Tanu. There was a genuine look of disgust on Silabus's face. "I'll see you in the area I told you to go to. If you think you can take me that is."
"Oh… I'll wipe the floor with you!" Tanu snarled, then turned and started to run away from Silabus and Gaspard.
"Hm… That's what you think you imbecile…" Silabus chuckled a little creepy smile gracing his lips. He then turned his back to Tanu's retreating form to focus on Gaspard.
"I'll be back before too long." Silabus's personality almost seemed to do a complete one-eighty as he became more like…well… himself! He winked at Gaspard. "Then maybe we can go on an adventure together, Okay?"
"Er…did you really just challenge Tanu? It's not that serious, Silabus!" Gaspard then grabbed on to Silabus's hand. "At least let me come with you so you have a healer-"
"No need." Silabus lightly pulled Gaspard's hands away. "One-on-one. Have a little faith in me, Gaspard. Besides-" Silabus looked over his shoulder to where Tanu once was. "Someone has to teach that creep a lesson." His tone changed again. It didn't sound like Silabus it was just confusing Gaspard even more than he already was.
Silabus must have sensed this because he offered Gaspard a smile and lightly pinched at Gaspard's cheek. "I'm just so tired of him chasing you around. Don't worry about me, okay? It'll be fine."
"Mmm but-"
"-Ah-Ah-" Silabus silenced him. His smile never once leaving his face as he did this. "-No buts. I'll be quick. Okay?"
Gaspard looked at Silabus before he backed off. "Okay…"
"Good boy." Silabus patted his head before stalking off.
'Good boy?!' Gaspard actually scoffed. 'Something's not right…' Gaspard wasn't an idiot despite what a lot of people think, and the same goes for Kouta Maki the person behind Gaspard; he was in a cram school almost ready to go to a prestigious high school for his mathematics alone. Gaspard knew something wasn't right with Silabus and a very real part of him was wondering if this was even Silabus?
Tanu sent a message!
I'm going to wipe Silabus all over the floor and when I do be prepared to hand over your member address! If you want to see our fight we'll be at Sigma Missing Cat Blessing!
His curious heart just couldn't take it.
He followed behind Silabus.
Gaspard had to see this for himself, mainly because challenging people to a PK fight wasn't something Silabus did usually, even if the person was Tanu. Gaspard's instincts were telling him to log off and to just forget everything he witnessed, but he wasn't going to do that. Maybe in the past, but not now.
The funny thing about life is that there are things that happen that are never planned for. They weren't really planning on doing this tonight. No, they just wanted to find a weapon, one Haseo might not question. But it wasn't easy when Silabus had one of the strongest swords in game… that was when Gaspard ran to them and clung to them for dear-life thinking They were Silabus. It was adorable in all honesty.
Enter Tanu.
The pesky little beast had called Silabus- not They, but Silabus, ugly. The absolute audacity. It was something that They weren't going to stand for. Not only that but Tanu was an honest to god creep. Gaspard was thirteen and judging by the messages Gaspard had to send to Tanu on a daily basis, Tanu- or rather Miyuki Higashi the thirty-two year old man- just wasn't getting the hint.
No, They decided they were doing The World a bit of a community service by getting rid of Tanu themselves.
Tanu was waiting for them in the field area. It was just a normal sunny field, nothing special, Tanu didn't deserve anything special, not from They.
Poor Tanu, poor unsuspecting Tanu. The beast immediately tried to hit them the moment They warped in. "OrLei Zas!" Tanu screamed and a beam of light rushed at They.
The thing was. They have been improving their code day-by-day. No, they didn't make themselves invincible, that would cause suspicion amongst all the other players if they didn't lose any health. Rather, they created a sheild for themselves. They did this in fear of the security measure, the players with the vacant eyes and stitched clothing. They hoped this shield would be strong enough to block any attack coming their way to protect them and allow them to get away if needed.
Raising the right hand up they summoned the shield and a translucent shield surrounded them right before they got hit by Tanu's low-blow attack.
The light attack bounced right off the sheild and dissipated.
'Well… that worked better than expected.' They thought as they lowered their hand and started to approach Tanu.
"Y…you hacked your character?! Of course you'd challenge me you cheater- OrVak Don!"
They only smiled and summoned their shield again as they continued their walk up to Tanu. The fire attack did nothing but dwindle into smolders.
Tanu lightly shook when They didn't show any signs of stopping. "I-I'll report you!" Tanu snarled. "CC corp will delete your character! Ani Zot!"
Third verse the same as the first.
othing came of his dark attack and Tanu was starting to shake a little harder now. They grabbed at the handle of their sword. It wasn't as strong or fancy as Silabus's own sword, but that was fine. They didn't need a fancy five start sword to bring Tanu down.
"Ah!...S-stay away from me!" Tanu demanded as he jumped once the sword was out. "OrZan Rom!" Still, he tried to attack with his weak spells. Closer and closer They got to Tanu. Tanu turned his tail and tried to run but forgot that he was now in a battle and was stuck there.
They could see the wheels turning in Tanu's head and figured the beast was going to use smokescreens if he had them.
'Yeah, let me just-' They weren't going to make it easy on Tanu. Not in the slightest. Raising their hand up, they smiled a very Silabus-esque smile. "Lei Zas." They didn't shout it like most did. No, just saying the spell did the trick all the same. A wave of light left their hand and because Tanu was in his inventory he couldn't block in time.
The attack sent the beast into the barrier. A cry left his mouth. "That actually hurt!" Tanu cried out in shock. Tanu looked up at them in as They were practically right on top of him. Before Tanu could get to his feet or even attempt to scramble away, They brought their sword down and right through Tanu's chest.
Tanu gasped. The gasp was one of pain, of someone losing their very breath from the shock of it all.
They only watched as Tanu's health depleted but not completely. There was still a little bit a health. Always leave a little bit of health. That's what They learned from doing this for so long. If you completely PK them the data drain doesn't work.
Taking their sword back, they let it vanish before looking down at Tanu. "You're pathetic." They seethed as they raised their right hand up. The noise that followed was one They were more than familiar with by now as their data-drain wrapped around their hand.
"I'll report you! I… stop… stop… please!" Tanu lost all fight once he realized that They, but to him: Silabus, wasn't backing down. Not only that, but Tanu didn't know just what was going to happen to himself after this and that always scared the unexpected players.
They always found this the hardest part of the job. The pleading. Not only that, but They wondered if was the sound, the build up to what's to come, that scared the others. Or if it was the sense of doom.
"I'll leave Gaspard alone! You don't have to do this- stop!" Tears streamed down Tanu's face.
They fired and the attack hit Tanu directly.
There was a scream from the beast that didn't stop. Not when his data was being sucked into They, and it just kept going until Tanu was nothing. He was gone.
They snorted once their job was done. "Hopefully-" They shook their arm and the data drain vanished completely. "-That'll appease Father. I hope he hasn't gotten too suspicious of my absence as of late-" They turned around towards the warp gate and stopped. There Gaspard stood.
Gaspard looked horrified. His green eyes wide with fear as he took a cautious step back. "Y-You're no-not…" Gaspard's teeth were chattering as the fear was apparent. His knees wobbled together as he took another step back. "You're jus-just po-posing as Sil-Silabus!"
'Well, he's not wrong. Maybe I can lie out of this- Oh…he's running.' They watched as Gaspard turned and started to run for the gate.
'I can't let him get away! He'll warn both Silabus and Haseo-' They raised their right arm right back up as the Data drain popped up in a heartbeat. They watched Gaspard's retreating form as they let the drain build up-
'I… I can't.' They lowered their arm once again. The idea of data draining Gaspard hurt them in a way they couldn't properly describe.
"Fine… plan B it is." They whispered to themselves. Plan B was actually fairly easy because they had Gaspard's code with them. With a snap of their fingers a warp ring surrounded the beast before he could get back to the gate to town.
Gaspard only wailed when the floor below him vanished and fell into an outer dungeon. He reached out in an attempt to grab the edge, but the floor closed up as soon as Gaspard was through completely. "Well…things just got a little messy now, didn't they?" They huffed to themselves.
"I need to clean this mess up before Father realizes what I've done. I really don't want to data drain Gaspard, hopefully I can talk some sense into him before it comes to that."
Ryou's cellphone was ringing.
'It feels way too early.' Ryou thought as he turned his head towards his bright-ass cell phone that was buzzing and ringing at the same time. He looked at the window that was closest to him and saw it was still very much dark out. His phone quieted down and he pulled Yuuichi into him. Yuuichi hadn't even so much as stirred and his head planted snuggly against Ryou's shoulder.
Ryou didn't even have a single thought as he felt his eyes start to drift close again ready for much needed slumber-
His eyes shot open when his phone started ringing again. He groaned and had to move to grab his phone. Because he was awoken from such a deep sleep his motor functions weren't exactly the greatest and he almost dropped his phone.
When he grabbed the loudly ringing phone and pulled it closer Yuuichi started to stir. "Washappen'?" Was the noise that Yuuichi made in the vague form of a question as his eyes cracked open a sliver.
Ryou looked at the caller ID: Reiko (Pi) is calling…
He then looked at the time. 3:28 AM
With a sigh, Ryou answered the phone. The tiredness in his voice very much there as he was barely awake as it was. "Somebody better be dead…" He grumbled to Reiko.
"We have a situation. It's an emergency and we need you to log on as soon as possible." Reiko told him her voice also laced with sleep.
"Fuck. No. It's almost three-thrity in the morning." Ryou gave an irritated huff. "What is so important that you need me logged on-?"
Yuuichi shifted now. "-Haseo?" His voice slurred in his sleepy state. No doubt just a slip of the tongue from his half-asleep brain. Yuuichi rubbed at his eyes to try and wake himself up a little more. "e'ry thing good?"
"Is that Silabus?" Reiko inquired, completely ignoring Ryou for the moment. "Bring him in too, this involves him just as well-"
"Whoa- whoa. Please-..." Ryou pinched the bridge of his nose. "I need some details as to why this is so urgent it can't wait until a decent hour."
Yuuichi planted his head against Ryou's shoulder again. He grumbled as he was apparently trying to fight sleep and was losing.
"According to Kuhn your little friend. The beast. Messaged him. Apparently he's been kidnapped and is in an outer dungeon."
Ryou sat up, this sudden movement cause Yuuichi's head to bounce and wake him up. "Huh?" Yuuichi sleepily mumbled as he sat up just the same. "Wha' happen'd?"
"Is Gaspard okay?" Ryou made sure to use Gaspard's name to get Yuuichi's attention and it worked. Yuuichi's head snapped towards him in a heartbeat.
"We're trying to track him down in The World. Ryou, it doesn't just end there. Kuhn has been messaging Gaspard back and forth during this whole time. Gaspard, or rather Kouta, is claiming that a person impersonating Silabus is doing it and it gets even weirder. We'll try and catch you up to speed as soon as you log on. Hurry up…and make sure you both are decent, please."
Ignoring the intentional jab, Ryou hung up and looked at Yuuichi, who turned on the bedside lamp.
"Is something wrong with Gaspard?" Yuuichi asked as he rubbed at his eyes again.
"Yeah, you brought your headset right? Pi wants you logged on."
"Ryou, we're on a weekend long date…of course I brought my headset…" Yuuichi grunted and pulled the covers back. His voice was stilled laced with sleepiness as he stood and stretched. "What happened with Gaspard? Is he hurt? Did Tanu hurt him? Why is Pi involved?" The more questions Yuuichi asked the more he started to wake up.
"Remember the outer dungeons I told you about a few days ago?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, apparently Gaspard is in one." Ryou pulled the covers off of himself. The cold hotel air woke him up a little more and helped get his blood pumping just a bit.
Ryou looked at his phone now that he was a bit more awake. He saw that Gaspard apparently tried to message him via Snapchat- something Ryou only created to make Yuuichi happy- He only had his friends from The World added and nobody else.
"Oh no, how'd that happen? Is he okay?-"
"I don't know everything, but according to Pi he was kidnapped. Yuuichi…he was kidnapped by someone that looks like Silabus."
There was a panic that flashed behind Yuuichi's eyes. A panic that quickly depleted as soon as it came as anger took it's place. It was a fire behind Yuuichi's eyes that Ryou loved to see. "Let me get a robe on." Was all Yuuichi said as he turned to go and get a robe from his packed bag.
Ryou walked over to his own bag. He took his headset and controller out of his bag and unlike Yuuichi he only put on a pair of boxers not bothering with covering himself up completely, who's going to know? Nobody aside from Yuuichi.
Ryou grabbed his stuff and looked over at Yuuichi. Yuuchi had just finished tying off his robe and was making his way to the bed. They both sat side-by-side as they turned their headsets on.
"See you on the otherside." Ryou commented as he put the headset on over his face.
"Likewise." Was Yuuichi's response as he did the same.
Haseo and Silabus roughly warped in around the same time. There Pi and Kuhn were both waiting for them at the Chaos Gate. "Good, you two wasted no time." Pi spoke first as she crossed her arms over her chest. "We're going to the Netslum bridge where Master Yata is currently working on trying to find your friend."
"What happened exactly?" Silabus inquired as he stepped up to his friend. That was when everyone heard it, the echo from Haseo's mic as the two of them were sitting side-by-side. "...One second, Kuhn."
Silabus went AFK as Yuuichi suddenly removed himself from beside Ryou.
Ryou lifted his headset up just to peek at Yuuichi. Yuuichi walked up to the couch and sat down now far enough away that there wouldn't be an echo if he spoke.
Silabus came back only moments later.
"I'll explain when we get to the Netslum. Don't worry too much, Gaspard is still texting me as we speak so, we know he's fine physically. Just a little scared." Kuhn explained once Silabus was back.
Haseo swore he could hear Kuhn trying not to laugh at what just happened in front of him.
Silabus only nodded before turning to the Chaos gate and warping away to the Netslum.
Haseo wasn't too far behind his boyfriend.
Once there, the two of them swiftly ran to the bridge with Pi and Kuhn right behind them.
Once they were at the bridge Haseo saw that it wasn't just Yata standing at the Serpent of lore but also Zelkova as well as Atoli.
Zelkova was standing directly beside Yata. "Ah! I see you made it!" He chirped once Haseo and Silabus walked up to the Serpent of lore.
"Were you guys able to find Gaspard? Is he okay?" Silabus asked a little loudly and there was another echo from Haseo's mic. It was soft but there. Nobody brought it to attention to which Haseo was grateful.
"Yata and I are still looking for him. Don't worry, we're doing all we can and are following his character code. Kuhn, could you fill them in?" Zelkova asked and Kuhn frowned.
Atoli was quiet as she walked up to Haseo and Silabus so she was also in front of Kuhn.
"As all of you know, Gaspard was kidnapped. Thank goodness his player is perfectly fine and not a lost one. Now, according to Kouta, he's been trying to contact all of us for help, again, thank god, I just happened to be up and awake when he texted." Kuhn started.
"According to Kouta, about two hours ago Tanu had started chasing him around Breg Epona when he ran into, who he thought, was you- Silabus." Kuhn turned to Silabus.
Silabus scowled.
"We've been together this whole time." Haseo jumped in as he looked at Kuhn. "So, neither Silabus nor I have been online say for right now."
"We know this," Yata suddenly chimed in making Silabus and Haseo turn to look at him. "We know you clearly have nothing to do with what's been going on. We checked your addresses and online status during the time everything went down. You were both offline. So, you don't need to convince us. Kuhn, you may continue."
Kuhn cleared his throat and resumed. "Kouta said that he ran to the fake Silabus in an attempt to scare Tanu off. Things got heated between fake Silabus and Tanu leading the fake Silabus to challenge Tanu to a PK match."
"Yeah, that's not me." Silabus snorted as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Could it be a situation of another player just looking like Silabus? Like how Shino and I look alike?" Atoli asked.
"That's what I thought." Zelkova chimed in next. "And I asked Kuhn the same question-"
"-To which I asked Kouta the same thing and he says…" Kuhn trailed off and the player behind Kuhn started to read like he was reading something in front of him. Most likely reading the text messages between him and Kouta.
"No. This player looks identical to Silabus. Unlike with Shino and Atoli, who have different cosmetics/can and will get offended if you mix them up; it's like this person wanted to be Silabus. They never once tried to correct me and even sounded identical to him. But they looked strange. Uncanny? I don't know. It's like the more I looked at them the stranger they looked to me. It doesn't just stop there, after they took me to…wherever they took me I wanted to see who they really were. Kuhn, they had his name, but I knew that it wasn't Silabus. He didn't act like Silabus and his character is completely utterly hacked. They have this weird shield that can block any and all attacks. I know this because I tried to attack him. It's not Silabus, but rather someone pretending to be Silabus and that scares me."
Everyone took this in.
There was silence for several long seconds as the three of them soaked it all in.
It was Silabus the spoke first. "I looked… off…"
"... You know… Gaspard looked off that day…" Haseo whispered.
The air became heavy as the wheels in their heads started to slowly turn. "Haseo…" Silabus turned to him. "...You said I looked off to you and that you looked off to me… so…I have to ask, were we talking about the same day?"
"I was assuming-"
"We went to the snowy area." Silabus put his hands on his hips. "It was just the two of us, no Gaspard. We had a snow ball fight."
"No- no- we never… We were in Mac Anu, we couldn't go anywhere because you said you had to…work- oh no…"
"..." Silabus's breath shook as his face looked absolutely horrified. He put his hand to his mouth in shock. "Who is doing this? A-and why?!"
"We have a theory-" Pi spoke softly but was cut off by Yata.
"It'll have to wait later. We found him."
Haseo feared Silabus snapped his own neck with how fast he turned to look at Yata and Zelkova. Thankfully, because Zelkova and Yata were actively looking for Gaspard, there was no waiting for the serpent of lore to boot up the video feed. It was right in front of them.
Gaspard was sitting inside of an outer dungeon as they all knew, but what they didn't know was that he was apparently in a cage. Unable to get out and run to the safety of a warp gate that was only feet away.
"Gaspard!" Silabus yelled out in shock as he grabbed on to Haseo's arm in a death grip.
That was when the fake Silabus came into frame. He had his hands on his hips as he stared down at Gaspard. True to Gaspard's own words, this Silabus looked exactly like the real Silabus standing next to Haseo. Even looking through the serpent of lore, this Silabus just looked completely and utterly off.
'We were both fooled twice by the same character. Why are they doing this?' Haseo thought as he patted Silabus's shoulder.
"You weren't suppose to follow me, and now- now, I have a mess to clean up because of you." The fake Silabus scolded Gaspard. The issue was it sounded identical to the actual Silabus. "What a burden you are…" The fake Silabus pinched between his eyes.
"Don't talk to him like that!" Silabus snarled at his fake counterpart. Obviously it wasn't heard.
The fake Silabus crouched down to Gaspard's eye-level and tilted his head. "I should just do as I'm told with you… but, you mean a lot to Silabus and Haseo a like. But…I can't just let you go either… urg. Haven't you seen enough?!" The fake Silabus turned towards where they were looking. There was a frustrated and angry look about him that looked so out of place for Silabus. "I don't know who you are, but eavesdropping is often considered rude!" With an angry wave of their hand the video feed abruptly cut out.
"Hm… how interesting." Zelkova whispered once the feed was cut.
"We're dealing with a powerfully hacked player-" Yata started to say but was cut off by Zelkova.
"-You're not wrong, Master Yata. Hacked they are, but they aren't a player, not by normal means anyways." Zelkova looked at the black screen of the serpent of lore.
"What do you mean, Master Zelkova?" Atoli asked as she too looked towards the blank video feed.
"That character we just saw, the one impersonating Silabus. They aren't an actual person and I can see how you guys think they look off. What that was was AI pretending to be a player. Like myself, however unlike myself, it seems they rely heavily on code from other players to try and blend in. You regular players can't see it, but their body is nothing."
"Nothing? What do you mean by that exactly?" Kuhn had asked next.
"I mean, under the code they used to…mimic Silabus's own character is just a blank character. Not even a generic character, it's nothing. A blank slate. No eyes, no mouth, just the vague shape of a person. And that's what gives them the off appearance."
"I'm…not following." Silabus confessed as he scratched his head. "I'm sorry. They look off because they're nothing?"
"Yes and No. I think the best way to properly describe is that it's akin to wearing a realistic mask of someone. They have no characteristics themselves so when they wear your face for example it looks off. It looks-"
"-Uncanny. But because it's online we're not able to see it clearly. So they just look off to us." Silabus concluded.
"Zelkova, you saw right through the mask. Does this mean other AI's can as well?" Haseo inquired.
"It's possible that because the code is only cosmetic."
"Bikman saw it then. That's why they acted weird that day-"
"Arvix… Haseo, Arvix was warning us! That angry face wasn't because he was glitching, it was because he saw right through the fake Gaspard!" Silabus gasped. "Literally!"
"What does this AI want with you two?" Kuhn asked. "You heard it. It said it didn't want to hurt Gaspard because it would make you guys upset and if what I'm picking up from you two right, it's been tricking you guys into parties quite a bit."
"We'll get into that later." Yata said. "We've been talking for too long as is. Gaspard is in Sigma Cat-eye Onion Moonlight. Haseo, you know what to do."
"Yeah, find an anomaly and warp to the outer dungeon from there-"
"-Take me with you." Silabus demanded.
"-And me." Atoli nodded as the two of them immediately looked at Haseo.
"Silabus, this thing has your face-" Haseo tried to reason, but he knew it was fruitless.
"-I know." Silabus said. There was an edge to his voice and edge that Ryou recognized immediately.
"Fine. Kuhn, Pi, are you guys following?" Haseo asked as he swiftly invited Atoli and Silabus into his party.
"I'm staying with Master Yata, we have much to discuss given the information handed to us." Pi stated firmly.
"I'll follow along. Mainly because Kouta is still texting me and I can keep everyone updated on the situation."
"Haseo. Be warned. This AI, it has the ability to data-drain. It shouldn't be said: but be careful." Yata advised.
Yata didn't need to say it because Haseo heard the unspoken part of Yata's warning. 'Be careful with Silabus in your party. It's mainly dangerous with him involved.'
"Understood. Everyone, lets go!" Nothing more needed to be said as the whole group of four turned and ran for the Chaos gate in the netslum.
'Hang on just a little while longer, Gaspard! All of Canard is coming to rescue you!'
:) Oh, it's starting to get fun! But's it not almost over. Not by a long shot.
