Hey, guess what? I'm a poet... sorta. I got this while humming to the Mulan song Reflections. Flames are totally welcome- I use them to toast my toes. Anyway... ON WITH THE SHOW- I MEAN STORY- I MEAN POEM!

Grey clouds moved clumsily across the sky, dumping gallons of rain on the little town of Konoha beneath them.

Training was over, Hanabi was away, and she didn't really have sanything to do, so Hinata pulled out a sheet of paper and a pencil from her desk drawer.

'What to do, what to do?' she thought. 'I know! I'll write a poem!'

This is what she came up with:

"if I had a rainbow I could climb up

I'd go

to a place that I could call home

seeing the pain of the planet hurts my heart

oh the agony of death

if there was a person that I could talk to

I would

but right here there is nothing around but dust

oh the people's smiles

they take away

the cloudy, cloudy skies

and that's all I need to know

the healing of the earth it takes a while

you know

but the wait, it's much well worth it too

the closing wounds

the healing air

the knitting of the skies

creates a world of unity and peace."

She intentionally left out correct punctution. She wanted to convey a sense of innocence.

'I like it.'

So- how was it? Constructive criticism REALLY helps, especially if I decide to try another poem. TTFN! -ShyDragonne
