To be a silent support
It wasn't fair, Ino had decided, that Sasuke got all of Sakura's attention. It was completely and utterly unfair. He didn't deserve her attention, much less the rest of the class.
Ino hadn't really acknowledged his presence until she had declared her undying love for him.
When Ino had heard this, she was angry.
Angry that her friend could be so blinded and angry that she was pushed aside all because of some stupid boy.
So, to gain more attention, she also declared her undying love for the boy, and the rivalry began.
It wasn't the same anymore but she was happy. As long as Sakura kept in contact with her, she didn't mind the fact that the Uchiha had stolen her best friend's heart.
However, those thoughts didn't last, when he betrayed the village, and left a heartbroken Sakura behind.
So Ino had been left to pick up the pieces of her friend's broken heart and attempt to mend them together. Three years had passed, and still she continued to proclaim her undying love to the Uchiha traitor.
"He isn't capable of loving anyone! Get over him! It'll be easier if you do!"
"You just want me to get over him so there won't be any competition!"
"I am not! Can't you see! He doesn't care about anyone, much less you! Do yourself a favor and stop fawning over him! He isn't worth it!"
"You're just jealous! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you! Sasuke loves me, you just wait and see!"
And so, it continued. No matter how much she tried to convince her friend to stop this "crush" of hers, she wouldn't.
So now, Ino waits. She waits for the time she is needed again.
When she is needed to pick up the pieces of a shattered heart.

Edited-just a little. Hope it's not too short….my friend said I have a tendency of writing really short stories. Anyway, hope u review or check out some of my other stories and comment.
