Summary - Literati oneshot... continuing on from 6.18. Jess's feelings after Rory left. Extremely short and pretty much without a point

A/N – The last sentence is a quote off the 2005 adaptation of Pride and Pridejudice, it just seemed to fit

He stood there watching her walk out of the room, out of his life once again. He couldn't believe what had just happened. In a sense, he was mad that she'd tried to use him, but he wasn't mad at her, he wanted to be, but he just couldn't. The problem was, he understood her, knew exactly where she was coming from. If anyone knew what it was like to love someone so much, that no matter how much they hurt you, no matter how much they put you through, you still love them and want the best for them, it was Jess Mariano.

There had been many times in the past when he'd wished he could just make his feelings for Rory disappear, but it had never worked. Four years ago when he arrived in California, he wanted to forget her, to start afresh but he couldn't. The next year he told her he loved her, in a vain attempt to make things right, win her back, but she just stared at him, an expression of shock and confusion on her face. It tore him apart inside. Rory was the first and only girl he'd ever loved, but at that moment, he just knew things were over, knew there was no chance they could start over, and yet still, he couldn't stop loving her. He felt like a smoker who just couldn't kick the habit. He knew he couldn't have her, but at the same time, he knew there was no way he could ever care for another girl even half as much as he had Rory. He hated Logan for hurting her like that way, hated it so much. If it weren't for the fact he had no idea where the hell that asshole was, he would go and give him a piece of his mind. Nobody hurts Rory. His Rory…

I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on.
