3 Hours Later Coruscant , Dex's Diner

Qui gon had waited until it was dark to slip out of the temple and head out into the streets of Coruscant and head into the downtown section of the planet, where Dexster Jetsters diner was located he didn't the council or more correctly Mace Windu getting nosey and having him followed Qui gon thought.

As he walked into Dex's and sat down in one of the booths and asked one of the serving droids to ask Dex to come over when the dinner rush died down and ordered something simple to eat and drink.

30 minutes later

Dex came over with Qui gon's order and sat down opposite Qui gon and said as he placed the food in front Qui gon "haven't see you here for awhile, he said, Qui gon nodded Dex's wasn't exactly his sort of place to eat it was more Obi wans ,"True but I need to talk you Dex"Qui gon said now.

Then he added I take it that you've heard what happened at the temple nursery 3 days ago? the large four armed basilisk frowned and said softly " I ve heard but don't believe obi did it though!"

Qui gon smiled sadly and said " Obi wan did take boy from the nursery Dex but unlike the council and senate I think think that he had a good reason for taking little Anakin that's why I needed to speak to you Dex ,Dex nodded slowly and said " that's what I mean Obi wouldn't take a little kid away from the temple unless he had a reason a good one!"

"Why Obi even brought the kid here for lunch 2 weeks ago wouldn't have done that if he thought he and kid where going to have take off so suddenly! Dex said solemnly , Qui gon looked up from his food and met Dex's and asked 'he brought Anakin here Dex ?

The large alien nodded and replied "yeah about 2 weeks ago cute kid a little shy maybe ,but sweet"Qui gon looked up from his food a eye brow raised.

Dex chuckle and rumbled 'don't sound so surprised Qui that boy's always liked my cooking better than temple food'! 'I know it's just well I thought that if something was wrong he would have at least said something to you about it Dex ' he said then he sighed and added it looks like I'm back square one then '.

'Now wait a minute there was something , he commed me a few hour's before he left talkin ' about some device ' that he was looking for said it contained some dangerous information and how he couldn't let it fall in to the wrong hands called it a holocron that mean anything to you Qui? Dex told him now.

A holocron !now Qui gon was surprised Obi wan had always thought the holocrons filled with ancient predictions and folklore that Qui gon so fascinating, were a load of superstition and stories to scare the younglings into behaving .

So the fact that Obi wan had been looking for a holocron the just hours before he ran away both confused and worried Qui gon he needed too return to the temple , and talk to master Nu as she would know which holocron his former Padawan had been looking for Qui gon thought to himself.

So he finished his food and thanked Dex for his help left the diner and walked hurriedly back to the temple and sort out Jocasta Nu , he found her still in the archive library when he arrived back at the temple 15 minutes later.

Meanwhile On Naboo

Anakin ! Anakin! ANAKIN! Get back here! Satine heard Obi wan Shout as she made her way out of the ship and down the boarding ramp and into the warm sunshine just in time see Obi wan take off at run after the over excited toddler who had made a break for freedom and a market stall with some brightly coloured little bird like animals in cages at the market entrance, the moment Obi wan had set him down on his own feet.

Few minutes later Obi wan returns with a wiggling and whining Anakin in his arms having caught the little boy halfway to his target, Ob put down , Ani want down! the toddler whined now.

Obi wan sighed and said if I put you down do you promise to hold Satines hand and not run off again? Anakin nodded.

Back At Temple On Coruscant

Qui gon walked over to Jocasta's desk and said softly I need to know what Obi wan told you about the holocron that he was looking for the night he took Anakin! Jo.

The temple archivist gave him a look of confusion and then she said "but I thought he was going too talk to you about borrowing it as you still have it!" On hearing this Qui gon turned around and headed back to his quarters and a sick sense of dread filled his heart.

Meanwhile Back At The Market Naboo

Obi wan,Satine and Anakin wondered around the stalls occasionally stopping buy some Clothes , food or items that they may need for their new life on Tatoonie, or simply just too let Anakin look at small animals and colourful little birds that were for sale at some of stalls .

But as Obi wan watched satine pick Anakin up so he could see the animals and bird s in the animal cage s ,he noticed how low the sun was getting it was getting late and they would have return to ship dealers yard too collect the smaller faster ship he had traded Satines Mandalorian skiff for earlier, and they would continue on their way to Tatoonie and their new life there.

Meanwhile on Coruscant At The Temple

Qui gon entered his quarters and headed straight for we're he normally hid the Holocron , but as he opened the panel in the bookcase in his room where the Holocron was usually hidden Qui gon realised that it was Gone !
