Qui gon's Quarters 4 Hours After The Council Meeting
Qui gon was sat on the sofa in the living room of his quarters looking over some the planetary systems of where Obi wan and Satine may have fled to with little Ani , when he heard some one knoking the on main door his quarters and he opened the door to find the young kiffar Jedi knight who had been a friend of Obi wans before... well before his Padawan had run away standing infront of him looking upset and frightened.
I 'm sorry to disturb you master Jinn but I need to speak to you in private rather urgently as I have just heard about... ,the young knight hesitated for a moment and then he looked nervously down the hallway and Qui gon followed his gaze to try and discover what or who was making the younger man nervous but he saw only Master Dooku his old master in conversation with master Plo koon a little way down hallway.
Qui gon started to open his mouth to reassure the boy but young man gave him a pleading look and said " please master what I have to tell you I don't what to reveal out in the hallway as it concerns Obi wan and well part of the reason he left ."
Qui gon's demeanour suddenly changed at the mention of the reason his former Padawan had fled the order nearly week before and he stepped ,back away from the door way he had been blocked to allow the younger to enter his quarters and said take a seat i ' ll join you in a second.
The young Kiffar nodded and as he sat down on the chair across from sofa where Qui gon now sat down , the young man said softly my names Quinlan Vos by way I was friends with you Padawan Obi wan before ... well before everything that happened!
Qui gon smiled sadly and said "yes he mentioned someone called Quinlan onice or twice before he left so suddenly ' then Qui gon sobered added so Quinlan you said that you have something to tell me about why Obi wan ran away, is that correct well I' m listening.
Quinlan nodded and began his story and
told Qui gon everything that Obi wan had confided to him in the hours before he had left the temple and Quinlan told ,Qui gon about he and Obi wan had removed the real Holocron containing the prophascy's concerning Little Anakin Skywalker from Qui gon's hiding place ,in the bookcase in his room and how the two had replaced the real Holocron with a very convincing decoy that was blank. As Obi wan planed to take both Anakin and the Holocron far away so that the Jedi traitor and his Sith master Sidious could not find them.
When Quinlan was finished with his tail Qui gon realised something if Obi wan and Quinlan had replaced the original Prophecy Holocron with decoy Prophecy Holocron and the original prophecy Holocron was with Obi wan, Satine and Anakin then, who ever had stolen the decoy Holocron from it place in his bookcase was going too be revealed as the traitor Qui gon thought now.
Thank you Quinlan for telling me truth about the original holocron I was worried about it being the wrong hands , but knowing that Its with Obi wan and that it's safe is a weight off my mind.Quinlan smiled sadly and said "I just wish that I Could shed some light on who over heard plotting too destroy the republic and the Jedi master but Satine is only other person he told their identities "too Quinlan added now .
Qui gon sighed and said I suppose I'll find out who they are if the order survives What ever is heading our way , at this Quinlan said check the desk in your room I have a feeling that you' ll find out who they are but be warned you may not like the answer to the questions you are asking Master Quinlan added.
With this the young Jedi stood up and exited Qui gon s quarters and headed off to his own quarters, leaving a confused Qui gon to head into his bedroom to check his desk.
20 minutes later Qui gon found a thick white Envelope containing a data pad and note in Obi wans hand writing, Qui gon down to his bed and started to read the note ,but as he continued read the note and he started to look though the files Qui gon started realising what Quinlan had meant when he had said that Qui gon may not want the answers to the questions he was asking. No no it ...it can't be Dooku he can be the Traitor he can't planning to help Palpatine to distroy the republic and Jedi.
But much as Qui gon tried to ignore the facts he couldn't denie the written proof obi wan had collected against Dooku Qui gon still couldn't believe that his master would turned evil and be come a child killing monster because that was what Dooku would become if he helped Palpatine.
Qui gon knew that there was only one right course of action and that to tell Yoda that Dooku was the spy was and let Yoda deal with Dooku Qui gon thought to himself.
As he headed to master Yoda's quarters to tell him that Dooku was the spy , but then he thought about what palpatine and Dooku had been going to do to Anakin and the Jedi and republic and he fell sick .
But at length he rallied his nerves and headed out of his a stared to make his way towards Yodas quarters,and as did he saw Dooku coming down the hallway towards him and for the first time in his life Qui gon Jinn didn't know what to say do in his former masters presence.
So he ended up having a brief conversation with his former master and he did Qui gon realise that now was no the time to hand Dooku over to Yoda and council , it was too soon and Qui gon realised that the Jedi council may be able to use Dookus knowledge of Sidious's plan s against him.
Meanwhile back on Tatoonie
Obi wan was just a bout done loading the supplies to take to their new home when Satine emerged from the shuttle carrying a still sleepy Anakin balanced on her hip as she came down ramp, "ready to go ?"he asked her as he took Anakin from her and strapped him into the back seat of the speeder.
"I guess so "Satine replied and she got in the front passenger seat and moment s later they were off and while life on Tatoonie ,wasn't going too be like their lives on Coruscant and Mandalore that She and Obi wan were used to they would have to adjust to the way things ran here they had to if they were going to keep Anakin safe Satine thought to herself.
