Meanwhile Back On Coruscant At The Jedi Temple
Mace Windu walked down the hallway to the chamber's to meet with grandmaster Yoda and the rest of the high council, to talk about where else to search for Kenobi, the former Mandalorian Dutchess Satine Kryze and little Anakin Skywalker.
As they where not hiding on any of the inner core or any of mid rim planet's ,or on Mandalore like he and some of the other high council members originally thought they would have.
Mace had been sure that the Dutchess would have wanted to stay on her home planet rather ,than hiding on some back water like Tatoonie as Kenobi 's former master Qui gon Jinn seemed to believed.
In The Meantime Back To On Tatoonie
Qui gon was finding that Satine was not being as reasonable as he had originally thought she would be, infact she seemed to be very much of Obi wan's opinion that the order and the republic were under the control of palpatine and Dooku and therefore could not be trusted to protect Anakin and the Holocron.
Qui gon sighed he had yet to find a way to persuade Satine to convince Obi wan to return to Coruscant with Little Anakin before Mace and the rest of the high council discovered where he, Satine and Anakin were hiding and came and took Anakin by force back to Coruscant.
And Qui gon had a feeling that was something Obi wan would never allow ! It was as Qui gon was thinking about this that he noticed that ,Little Ani was no longer sitting the table and looked about the room worriedly for the toddler.
It was then that Obi wan who had been standing behind Qui gon with Anakin balanced on his hip that he decided to make his presence known, " lost some thing master "Obi wan asked as he came fully into the room with a now half asleep Anakin who had his head on Obi wans shoulder and his a thumb in his mouth.
Qui gon jinn almost jumped out of his skin at sound of Obi wans voice and sudden appearance in the kitchen with Anakin, Satine on the other hand hadn't looked surprised to see Obi wan back early and she had simply said softly " I' ll put Ani down for his nap you two need to talk " and with that Satine took a now sleeping Anakin from Obi wan and then headed off out of the kitchen and down the hallway to Anakins bedroom.
"What are you doing here master ? I thought that I had made it clear that you needed to leave " Obi wan said pointedly folding his arms across his chest, at this Qui gon sighed and replied " I just wanted to give you the chance too return too Coruscant by your own choice before Mace , the rest of the council and senate figure out where you are Obi wan and I had hoped that I could persuade Satine too help me to convince you to see sense".
At this Obi wan just smirked and said " And did you succeed in convincing her to help you to get me to see sense or was she her normal stubborn self master? " Obi wan asked now with a knowing smile.
"No I didn't she's twice as stubborn as you are it seems" Qui gon replied Obi wan raised an eyebrow and said " I could have told you that had you asked me , instead of you going behind my back master" Obi wan told him.
Meanwhile Back On Coruscant At The Jedi Temple
Mace Windu was on his way to the the council chambers to inform Yoda and the rest of the Jedi high council that he now believed that Kenobi was hiding , in the outer rim with The former Mandalorian Dutchess Satine and little Anakin Skywalker.
And that they should send a team of Jedi to find and arrest Kenobi and the Dutchess before they could run with Anakin again.
Later That Evening Back On Tatoonie At The Homestead
Qui gon still wasn't having much luck in getting his former Padawan and the Dutchess Satine to see sense and return to Coruscant ,with Anakin and the Holocron and let him and Yoda help them to protect both Anakin and the holocron from Dooku and Palpatine if they still felt that couldn't trust the senate or rest of Jedi council to properly protect them.
But it seemed that Obi wan and Satine liked the life that they and Anakin had made for them selves here on Tatoonie for the last six months and ,they were both extremely reluctant to return to Coruscant and Mandalore and Obi wan had made very clear to Qui gon that he had no intention or desire to return to the Jedi temple or the Jedi order now or ever Qui gon thought to himself sadly.
But he was determined to remain here on Tatoonie and on the homestead until both Obi wan and Satine let him least help them protect Anakin and the Holocron, even if that meant that he had to stay here on Tatoonie with them permanently.
That wouldn't be so bad he could send Ashoka back to Coruscant with the ship to continue her training with either Plo koon or Yoda if he did decide to remain on Tatoonie with Obi wan , satine and little Qui gon thought to himself.
Although Qui gon hoped that with time and patience from him that Obi Wan and Satine would see reason and at least agree to talk to Yoda about the threat that Dooku and Palpatine posed to only to Anakin and the Holocron .
But to the whole Jedi order and to the senate and to the republic as a whole , but first he and Yoda would have to convince the former Dutchess Of Mandalore and his hard headed former Padawan that he and Yoda could be trusted to help them.
As Qui gon sat in the living room thinking things over he heard a door open and close then the sound of little feet coming down hallway towards him , and he heard little Anakin Skywalker calling for Satine and Obi wan as he searched for them.
Qui gon sighed and stood up from the sofa and moved to go and get the little boy as Satine had left to run some errands and Obi wan had gone back to work in town shortly after Anakin had been put down for his nap after lunch.
So Qui gon had offered to stay and watch Anakin until Satine returned from running the errands she wanted do while Anakin was sleeping. But of course Qui gon hadn't expected little Ani to wake up an hour earlier than Satine had told Qui gon he would and start looking for Satine and Obi wan.
Now he had a distressed and frightened toddler who had just woken up from his nap and couldn't find Obi wan or Satine on his hands and Anakin was likely to not be to happy that the only adult he could find was someone that he didn't really know.
Qui gon sighed and well that is going have too change as he was likely to be on Tatoonie for a long time trying too convince Obi wan and Satine to let him help them, so now was as good a time as any for him and Anakin to get to know each other.
As Qui gon headed down hallway towards the frightened and distressed toddler he regretted that he hadn't spent time with Little Ani at the temple the way Obi wan had before he had and ani had to leave.
If he had then Anakin might not be so confused and upset that he couldn't find Satine or Obi wan now Qui gon thought as caushuzsly approached the little boy so not to frightened him farther.
But as he did the front door opened and Satine walked in and the Little boy ran to her as fast as his little legs would carry him, and satine picked him up and said "what happened ? " Qui gon sighed and told her that Anakin had woken up ten minutes ago and had been looking for her and Obi wan.
