" Arigoto!" The girl said cheerfully. The cab driver looked at her funny as he drove away. Turning around she faced her new home . " Castle Oblivion …" She muttered as she walked toward the gate . " How do I get in ?" she wondered looking at the huge padlock.

Ansem the wise smiled as he watched the girl get out of the cab. He had meet her a few days ago at the market. He had gone to buy grocery 's , since for some odd reason everyone else was busy. His eye twitched . He made them regret that decision. They've been eating sardine's for the last three days. He had been walking back when she had run into him , knocking both of them to the ground . " ah… gamen." she had muttered hurrying to pick up the scattered food. "Thank you." Ansem had said as she handed it to him. She had looked over her shoulder and breathed a sigh of relief. Ansem stared at her. All around her he had seen the residue of magic. That was why she was here.

Ansem smiled as she studied the huge gate. Walking over to his desk he pressed one of the buttons on the intercom. "Axel." There was silence for a few seconds before a reply came.

"What?" An agitated voice asked.

"Are you busy at the moment?"

Axel looked back at his paused video game. He leaned against the wall and sighed , "No."

"Good! I would like you to show our new attendant around." Ansem said.

Axel groaned. He didn't have time for this he needed to get back to his RPG.

"Her name is Thistle." Ansem added

"Her?" He muttered "You mean it's a girl !" Axel asked excited.

"Yes. Please treat her kindly." He replied

Axel jumped up. -Hell yeah ! Finally another girl!- He thought as he quickly ran to look in his bathroom mirror. He licked his thumb and ran it over one of his eyebrows. Smiling he checked to see if his teeth were white. They were but that didn't mean his breath smelled good. Cupping his hand over his mouth he exhaled, and almost gagged. Ah the horror of his breath. Turning on the water he quickly brushed his teeth. Grabbing his cloak from the floor he ran into a portal of darkness that had appeared in the wall.

Thistle had just decided to climb the gate ,when another black portal opened up behind her. Axel poked his head out. Seeing her climbing the fence he decided to be sneaky. Walking silently up behind her he whispered in her ear,

" There an easier way to get in than that." She jumped three feet in the air . Axel laughed as her caught her. "Sorry . I didn't mean to scare you ." Looking down at her he bit his lower lip and looked to the sky .-Thank you God for sending me hot one!- Heat ran to Thistle's face.

"I-It's okay…" She muttered. Axel smiled and set her on her feet. Bending down he picked up her huge duffle bag .

"Jeez what do you have in here ? Rocks?" He teased.

She shook her head, " No . Just everything from my house….."

" It all fit in here!" He asked a little surprised. Thistle nodded.

"Heh be right back .."He said melting into the ground. Thistle gasped . - Teleportation! No way!-

"By the way , I'm Axel." He said reappearing with his arm around her stomach. " And I'll be you tour guide for the day." Tighting his grip around her waist He jumped high into the air and over he fence. Thistle yelped in surprise .

" Couldn't you have just teleported us over?" She asked

Axel thought for a sec " I could have but that wouldnt have been nearly as fun." He smiled. Thistle looked up at him and smiled back.

-I think i'm goingt ot like it here.-

Axel grabed her hand and ran into a portal that had just appeared in front of them.
