Meanwhile Back On Qui gon's Ship Above The Planet

Ashoka didn't know what to do on one hand she wanted help her master, but on the other she wanted to be a good Jedi and respect the code and the council, and sometimes master Qui gon was a bit to much of a maverick for his own good.

But she thought as she followed her masters homing beacon on the data pad she was holding, today was not one of those days that she believed the Jedi high council be thinking clearly, so she ordered the ships crew not to aid Master Windu and some of the more dogmatic and narrow mindedness in arresting Master Qui gon's former Padawan Obi wan Kenobi.

Qui gon , Obi wan, Satine and Anakin 's speeder raced across the the sand at a speed that made made Qui gon feel quite ill as Obi wan , tried to avoid hitting rocks , mountains and even the occasional herd of wild Bantha' s .

While all the time trying too lose the speeders with the council in them that were pursuing them, "will you slow down Padawan!your going to get us killled your going too fast! "Qui gon said as Obi once again narrowly avoided crashing the speeder into something.

Obi wan just smiled and said" I'm not your Padawan anymore ! and this isn't fast I'm barely going over the speed limit , and I don't particularly want to be caught so slowing isn't a option at the moment master!"

Qui gon sighed and thought oh stars end we're going to DIE ! As the speeder made a turn at speed that had Qui gon 's stomach lurch once again , much to little Anakins delight as the toddler laughed from the back seat and said " faster! faster! Obi faster ! thinking the chase was great fun.

Wonderful! another speed demon in the making well at least Anakin is enjoying Obi wan's idea of driving Qui gon thought sullenly , as they continued to race along at what Qui could only describe a break neck speed across the dunes with the Jedi high council hot on their tail!

Back On Qui gon's ship Ashoka had managed to contact Master Yoda and inform of the turn of events , and the little green grandmaster of the order looked less than pleased that Mace and the rest of the Council were acting on their own mandate to catch and arrest Obi wan and retrieve Little Anakin Skywalker .

"Bowd well for young Skywalker and Kenobi this development does not " the 800 year old little green alien said worriedly, " Why ? what would be the worst that happen if master Windu caught Obi wan " Ashoka asked him off handedly.

At this the green grandmasters holographic image seemed to sag and lean more heavily on the hummer stick that he always carried and replied punish traitors lightly the republic and the order doe's not young Padawan!

And a traitor both young Obi wan has been branded protect him from the consequences of that even Qui gon and I can not!" "Serious trouble he is in he is!" Yoda added sadly his ears drouping.

Ahsoka paled on hearing this " and Anakin? what about him what happen will to him if... "she paused just the thought of what Yoda had implied may happen to Obi wan or indeed Satine making the Padawan feel sick, then she continued swallowing hard " if Obi wan or Satine wasn't able too look after him anymore W what would happen to him master"?

Yoda sighed and he suddenly looked all of his 800 years to Ahsoka in that moment as he said " hmm returned to the Jedi and temple be he could as stilll a youngling he is , but best for him that is I am no longer convinced that is ,as happy with Obi wan and the young Dutchess is according to Qui gon he is " the old Jedi said sadly . " Their still following us ! satine told Obi wan " I know they are " Obi wan said sadly as he pulled the speeder to a stop and got out, " what are you doing get back in !"she told him .

At this Obi wan shook his head sadly and stepped away from the speeder and said " don't you see it's me that they are after they will let you , Qui gon and Anakin go , if I turn myself in!"

"W...what! " The Dutchess said as she stared at her partner in absolute horror as it dawned on her want Obi wan wanted too do" Y...you can't ! that 's Suicide Obi wan ! I won't let you do it ! " she told him .

" You don't have a choice satine !one of us has look after Anakin , this is the only way Satine!" Obi wan told her , then he looked at Qui gon said " GO! get them out of here before it's too late!"

Qui gon looked as if he was about to argue as he moved into driver's seat but the look on his former Padawans face made him change his mind and he took off before Satine could un strap Ani from his car seat so they Could both stay with Obi wan .

As he did this Anakin started to fuss and cry as was carried farther and farther way from Obi wan and their fledgling bond" No ! Qui gon ! turn around ! " Satine shouted at him "we ha... t ... have to go back ! we can let him do this th... they'll... " her voice faultered and gave out as she decend into tear's.

Qui gon sighed but kept driving then he said " Obi wan knows what he's doing they can't do anything too him , while he is the one who has the information that they want th... w..." Qui gon swallowed hard and then continued " that they want , they won't do anything worse than lock him up and maybe weaken his force connection" Qui gon told her.

"He has what Mace , the senate, Dooku and Palpatine want they won't put him on trial not when he is their only means of finding both Anakin and the holocron " Qui gon added.

Satine just glared at him and gave the Jedi master a look that made Qui gon go quite.

Meanwhile back while back with Obi wan Mace and the rest of the council had caught up with him and where in the process of arresting him , Okey Kenobi where's Qui gon taking the boy , Kenobi ! Mace asked sharply.

But Obi wan remained completely silent as they loaded him into their speeder and headed back to town and their ship to take him back to Coruscant unaware, that Obi wan knew that they could do nothing too him until they had the location of the boy and the holocron.

And those were things that he would never tell them. So they wouldn't be able too carry out the penity for treason as they need him if they were ever going to find out where Qui gon had taken Satine and Anakin.

Which should buy Qui gon time to come up and with a plan to rescue him from from what ever prison they threw him in until they could get him to tell them what they wanted to know.
