Gali sat on the roof of the hut and gazed at the vibrant stars. They seemed to dance, giving a sense of merriment that penetrated all of Ta-Koro. Even Jaller could be seen dancing in the streets after the Toa's great victory. But somehow, she wasn't happy. She didn't know why or how. But somehow she did know.
Him.

"Hello Toa-sister." The voice surprised her. Gali looked up. The glow from the fireworks made it difficult to see, but there was no mistaking the tall figure in front of her. "Hello Tahu." she said patting the seat next to her, inviting him over. He sat down, his legs crossed under him. Gali had let her's hang precariously over the edge. "Be careful Toa-sister. none of us want you to fall off." He said, inching ever so slightly towards her.

"What are you doing up here Tahu? You should be down there having a good time with Jaller and Takanuva." Gali remarked. He sighed. She was oblivious to the fact that had been right in front of her the whole time. "Gali," he whispered "I was looking for you."

"But why Tahu?" Gali asked. Tahu sighed again. "Gali don't you get it?" He half-shouted. "Get what?" She looked genuinely innocent. He sighed for a third time. "This isn't easy to tell you. I've been trying the whole way back, but I couldn't find the words. but now I have them and I don't want to loose them." he said. "Gali," he said breathlessly, staring at her shocked face, "I love you."

Gali's heart skipped a beat as she processed the information. That was he was all weird about all the way home. That's why she was sitting there, lonely. She'd refused to see it, but she was no longer blind. That's when she noticed her jawhad dropped slightly and tears had run down her cheeks. "Oh Tahu," she said and ran to hug him. Now the matoran, though rejoicing in the victorious overthrow of the menecing rahkshi, stood in awe of the two toa locked in a starlit embrace.
