Author's Headnote: Now that the stresseful event is over, I can finally get back to writing this thing. No new questions or Omakes submitted when I wrote this. Now I already covered all the events from the first few episodes, despite the lack of fightscences. But now It's time I think I should cover the schoolweek. Afterall, what more could happen when classes start during the daytime for a creature of the night? Without any ado, let's get onto it.

Beacon Academy, 3:00 AM (5 Hours until class starts), Monday, RWBY Dormitory
Ruby was reading one of Blake's books: Ninja's of love. She doesn't really understand why she tries to hide it... oh. Ruby just read up past the second chapter. There is a whole lot of innuendos written in here. It's freaking filth! But at least the katana imagery is nice... literally. It's an adult novel with weapon fetishes. Who knew Blake was into that sort of stuff? Ruby just puts the book back where she left it... And she would act like she never read the book in the first place. Ruby loves weapons and all, but NOT in that way.
Now that she's done with reading Blake's books, she decides to head to study. She can be up all night, may as well be productive. The first thing she went and did is grimm studies and math, since she has those classes in the day, along with weaponsmithing. Grimm studies, tactics, and dust studies on Tuesday. History for the rest of the weekday, tactics and math on Wednesday, weaponsmithing and dust studies on Thursday, and has tests for all of her classes on Friday. All students have combat practice daily. Training missions start next week, after the dance. Which as far as it's concerned will be decorated in a week's notice by a select student team. And it will be announced at combat practice class today.
She also decides to make study-notes for the rest of her team. May as well make their lives easier. Ruby also checks to see if she put back Weiss' Business card... she has. Well one of these days, that card of hers is going to be rejected and Ruby's abrupt spending may be a primary reason for that. Especially with all of those gifts she bought for Yang on her eighteenth birthday back in August eighth. She has enough videogames, manga, and comic books to satisfy all her nerdy needs. Although Ruby does read some of them in her spare time, she likes tales of heroes and stuff, and yang's comics and manga are similar to the books foretelling various heroes, except with pictures.
After spending a whole hour spending and making notes for her and her team, she decides to change the team's alarm to 5 AM, and starts to prepare three meals, one for each of her living team members. She won't be needing it since she's a vampire, so she's on a blood only diet. She downs an entire blood pack before starting. She'll need to get out and loot some of the duke's lackies before she downs more. However, she won't kill them, her condition doesn't excuse throwing away morals. Even if she is fighting vampires.
Yet again, they're already dead so... No! Got to stay true to the path! I won't kill any sentient beings!
Ruby makes the usual Monday breakfast, nothing too fancy, and it's enough to energize her team, and won't have Nora break into the dorm to eat it. She'd have to lock the doors and windows whenever Ruby makes pancakes. Thankfully nobody is closing the windows, or Ruby will need to be put in an urn, or she may end up accidentally being thrown out by Weiss or Yang and the entire class would be looking for her. Which is a consequence of not telling her team that she can't be exposed to sunlight not shielded by windows.
She's making breakfast before the sun comes up so she can get her and her team on class on time risking beauty sleep of her team in exchange of her trying to conceal her vampirism. But nothing wakes someone up more than a good breakfast. Not that she'll ever have one ever again, that is. But she'll just have to get used to drinking only blood from now on. She's been a vampire for like, almost a week. She'll need to get a system going for her to be a huntress whilst not risking anyone finding out about her vampirism, or her vampiric condition ending up killing her. It'll come to her once she manages to adapt her lifestyle.
She lets the stove heat up before she starts making breakfast to get changed into her school uniform. She can't wear a stripped-down white fang uniform to school. She takes off the white fang uniform stuff and uses some of Weiss' fire dust to burn it. She than gets dressed into her school uniform. One may ask how the heck would a dorm of four girls would know what Uniform is theirs? Well, Blake has organized the uniforms by size. So, it's Weiss at the far left, Ruby at the center left, Blake at the center right, and Yang at the far right. Since Ruby remembers this, she puts on one of the center-left uniforms. Eventually she'll end up being on the far left if Weiss suddenly gets a growth spurt.
In her uniform, she went back to cooking. She knows what to make since it's the Monday usual. And by the time everyone wakes up, the breakfast will be at the table. As for showering...
Dangit! Forgot to shower!
She quickly strips down and hops in to make a quick shower. She does the bare minimum for showering, so the food doesn't burn. After a quick 3 minutes, she gets back to the kitchen with only her bandana and towel to finish cooking.
One small mistake and her food will end up unrecoverable... or her towel will fall off. So, she needs to time this right since it's 4:30 AM right now. It's a simple scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. So, it doesn't take a lot of effort. However, she'll need to get dressed after she makes it. On the bright side, she doesn't have to worry about ruining her uniform. But she'll need to put the other one in the wash and wear it on Friday. As for the breakfast, she's just about done... she just has to... Oh oh oh, and she almost dropped some toast. She's off her groove today, this isn't normal for her. This usually only happens if her uncle is nearby, although she doesn't really know why.
But she managed to finsh the four breakfasts. And Now she can get dressed. She gets a uniform from the center left and puts it on. Now that she has her uniform on, she can head to the school building before...
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Ruby heard the screams and groans from her teaammates as soon as they got up. They all look at Ruby whose fully dressed. Clearly she needs to explain something...
"Uhh... there's breakfast for you guys." Ruby said.
"I figured, but did you have to change our alarms?" Weiss complained
"Hey, you did the same for me!"
"Ya, because no sane person would sleep through the entire day. Speaking of, the sun's not even up, just bring the food here and let us sleep."
"You do know it is Monday, right?"
"Oh... oh... OH SHOOT!"
Weiss hopped out of bed; Blake followed later... Ruby went to help Yang out of bed, but for some reason she got down on her own... and was trying to get her glasses. She bumped into the bed a couple of times, but she managed to find her glasses. She than went to bathroom to get her contacts on, followed by putting her glasses back to a cabinet. Although a drawer on her bunk would be useful. The three of them went to eat the food Ruby made for them whilst Ruby heads out to the school building.
Beacon Academy, 5:14 AM (2 hours, 46 minutes until class starts), Monday, Cafeteria
Ruby just has to be here for a bit until 7:30 and she can head into Port's class. To think she wouldn't come here for anything other than lunch, well times have changed since she got bit and turned into a vampire. Sure, she's not eating here, but she'll still chill around and sit alone. People will see her, and nobody would think something is wrong with her, simple plan. Well save for the guy with the semblance that can detect vampires. Ruby will be expecting a talk with the headmaster because of him knowing about Ruby's condition. A vampire in the vicinity of a huntsman academy is something one should worry about afterall, even if they mean well.
Ruby was just browsing on her scroll on social media. Not like she has anything better to do for the next couple of hours. Doing some updates, reminding people on the internet she's still alive... although that'd be lying to them, because she's not... she's well... undead. But she doesn't like calling herself undead. So, it's complicated. But Ruby was bored, so may as well just browse the web. Let's see here, it's some no-context low-effort meme that somehow went viral, Ruby swears these memes are getting more abstract and nonsensical. But she really doesn't care, she mostly browses for cute animals.
And when Ruby was done browsing, Team JNPR approached her sitting by herself, and they decide to sit with her.
"Hey guys, I see you're up early." Ruby said.
"We're early? Says the girl who sleeps all day." Jaune retorted jokingly.
"Huh. Well, you learn something new everyday." Ruby responded.
"So, where's the rest of your team?" Pyrrha asked.
"They're still getting ready, they got up a few minutes ago and when I just got ready." Ruby answered.
"So, you're here at the cafeteria because you're waiting for your team to get ready for class?" Jaune asked.
"That's exactly what I'm doing yes." Ruby answered back.
"Huh, great to see that another person has joined the early squad!" Nora cheered.
"Yep, let's cheer to the early squad." Ruby said nervously, followed by an awkward laugh.
"Ah, what's wrong? Don't get all negative, you're gonna attract the grimm."
"I'm just having one of those moods today. But I'm sure it'll pass."
"Just think happy thoughts, like what I do, or if I end up being in a bad mood, Ren helps me with that."
"Oh, is that why you lose your color sometimes?"
"Yep."
"Huh, I learned something new about you today, Ren."
Ren just nodded.
Although Ruby was only gloomy from the side effect of her vampirism, which she really can't say to anyone. But to their relief, she can't attract grimm. Even though they can't really know that fact. Maybe she's gloomy from the fact that she's hiding from her friends, or maybe it's the fact that she's a vampire. But it doesn't matter, Ruby just has to press on with her condition. It's just what she is now, although she won't let that change who she is.
The four of them discuss with each other while Ruby remains silent. She just wants to get the beginning of the class with no interruption.
Beacon Academy, 8:00 AM (Daylight warning, In class, on time), Monday, Grimm Studies (In Session)
Ruby showed up to port's class at 7:35, the rest of her team showed up at 7:50. Although some of the Non-Beacon students showed up late. Especially the second and third-rate academy students. There's an obvious color-code for the major academy schools. The Beacon students have red uniforms, the Haven students wear green uniforms, Atlas wears blue, and Shade wears yellow. Anyone not wearing a uniform or an irregular one came from a lesser-off school from a non-capital town.
When class began, Ruby could feel it... the boredom from the entire class as Professor Port is talking, especially since he's not saying anything worthy of taking any notes yet. Currently reminiscing on his youthful years when technology isn't as advanced. Wait, how old is Port? He looks older than her father, but people say he's around the same age or younger than that. It's something that bothers some people, but she doesn't care enough to actually investigate Port's age. Now back to the topic on hand.
He continues to tell stories about his youth in fact, that's just about every Monday with Port, so nothing really has changed much there. Ruby is taking notes anyway, since his tales of youth do have some relevance to the tests he hands out. And usually involves him fighting a certain type of grimm. Normally in this position, she'd be drawing a picture of the professor, mocking him. But Ruby doesn't feel like being funny right now, she can't risk her team getting in trouble for shenanigans.
Apparently, Port once fought a Griffon-Major by himself, and won… but got hospitalized of course. One would find it risky to fight much more powerful grimm by their lonesome. Being that huntsman and huntress alike are trained in teams are taught to get along and befriend their companions.
"And that is why you shouldn't eat a grilled cheese sandwich found in an abandoned truckstop." Port lectured.
Oh great, none of what he said may not have actually happened. But he'll still put it on the test anyway.
And that's when the bell ringed.
"Whoops, I must have gotten carried away, the class will begin tommorow!" Port stated.
Beacon Academy, 10:30 AM (Daylight warning, In class, on time), Monday, Mathematics (In session)
Ah, math class, the bane of any school system. Since not every student is on the same level of math skill due to various backgrounds, the math classes for first year are basically the same as signals. Those who have less math skills than the average student also take a basic math lessons class that take up the elective slots. Not sure why a huntsman would need math classes, it's not like she'll end up being in a scenario that requires a certain level of math comprehension.
Ruby has math instead of literature because her literature score was higher. Of course, any student who had to take a basic lessons course still have to take both classes for the rest of the year, if they pass it. Now let's see who is in the class with Ruby.
There's Blake and Yang. Huh, so Weiss must have literature class in her schedule than. Jayne, Ren, Nora, two of Velvets teammates, Cardin, Dove, Skye, and Neptune. Well, that's everyone Ruby recognizes in the classroom. She doesn't see Mr. Vampire detector anywhere here, so either he has literature or is an upper-classman. She notices the professor has started class. They go on start on with the various algebraic and geometrical lessons to be taught. Ruby was taking notes, although she was distracted from the boredom she feels across the class. She taps her pencil three times after every line to simply defuse the boredom everyone felt. Although now she senses annoyance, but not from the entire class, so it's more tolerable than overwhelming boredom.
After fifteen minutes in the lecture, the professor gave Ruby an evil eye and started to stare at her.
"Miss Rose, please stop tapping your pencil, it is distracting the entire class." The professor instructed.
Ruby stayed silent and obeyed, better be distracted by boredom than having to go through detention. She continues to pay attention and take notes, although distracted by everyone's boredom in the classroom. She's trying her best to tolerate it, but it's so intense. It is like an anvil is slowly crushing her, cracking her bones, slowly and painfully, except it's not literal or physical. It just makes her want to punch something, or someone. The stress built up from feeling all this negativity… it is driving her insane. Making her hard to think.
Must… kill… NO! I AM NOT A GRIMM! DOWN GIRL! DOWN!
She needs to find a way to break the boredom of the entire class… it is driving her insane. That, or she needs to block it out… that is it… just block it out. Got to focus all senses on the class. She concentrates for a bit, and than she continues to do her classwork.
And…
RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIING
Class is dismissed and Ruby only played half attention. Well, she has to do better next class. The students walk out of the classroom, most of them heading to lunch. But not Ruby, she needs some time to meditate.
Character Change: Ruby Rose - Blake Belladona
Beacon Academy, 1:00 PM (Lunch), Monday, Cafeteria
Lunchtime, it's simply the time students across the school use to relax, unwind and eat something... except for Ruby... who is nowhere to be found in the cafeteria. She's likely somewhere trying to calm down, feeling an entire classroom's stress and boredom wouldn't be the best thing for her anyway, that and on top of her vampirism.
But it appears Weiss and Yang seems to be enjoying themselves right now. Never seen Weiss in such a good mood before, guess she managed to relax a bit. As for Yang, she's currently chatting with Sun, about nerd stuff. Glad they are enjoying themselves. JNPR is here as well. Although Weiss did slap Neptune a couple of times for his cheesy pickup-lines. And than there's the other two members of Sun's team, who never introduced themselves... nor do they talk much. Do people even know their last names? Or which S they are in SSSN. Blake knows the leftmost S is Sun. But which S is the red one? Or the green one? Do Sun and Neptune even know their names?
Blake was eating the standard lunch she normally has.
"Hey Blake, have you seen Ruby by any chance?" Yang asked Blake.
"Noooo. Why?" Blake responded.
"Well, it's been a couple minutes in and she's still not at lunch, Ruby's usually never late for lunch... although she's always late for history class for some reason."
"Relax Yang, your sister isn't going anywhere."
"Well, I suppose your right... it's just that she's been acting strangely as of late and I don't know why. It's getting me all worried up!" Yang said, accidentally activating her semblance.
"Uhhh.. Yang?" Jaune said.
"What?" Yang asked.
"Your eyes are red..."
"Oh. Ah, dang sorry. I'm just worried that Ruby may be in some cult, that and she's spending a lot of time with... Blake."
Yang looked at Blake with a concerned anger.
Ah great, she thinks I'm involved in some sort of cult with Ruby, and that I got her to join it.
"Blake. Tell me the truth. Why are you spending so much time with Ruby all of a sudden?" Yang asked curiously, with an anger.
"It is weird, Ruby and Blake almost never spend time together until recently." Ren commented.
"Silly Yang, Ruby and Blake have been helping us!" Nora stated.
"For the past week?" Yang asked.
"Yep!"
"At night?"
"That is correct."
"Do you know why she's wearing that bandana?"
"Nope. You were there when I asked her about it, remember?"
"Oh ya... you were eating my breakfast."
"Ehhh... sorry! Your pancakes were super spicy."
"Aaawwww... Ruby made me spicy pancakes? Now I'm angry, worried, AND sad!"
With the mix of strong emotions, she's starting to glow... which means her semblance is currently at it's full power. This is not good.
"YANG CALM DOWN! YOUR SEMBLANCE IS ACTIVE! YOU'RE GONNA BREAK SOMETHING!" Weiss yelled.
"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN!" Yang yelled back.
"Sun, can you calm your girlfriend before she destroys the entire room?" Blake asked.
Sun nodded, and went to consult Yang.
"Yang, babe. Just relax, sure Ruby's acting strangely, but she's still your sister. You'll end up seeing her at combat practice, I can guarantee that." Sun stated.
"Are you sure?" Yang asked worryingly.
"How well do you know your sister?"
"I know her enough that she'd want to be here more than anything in the world."
"And do you think she'd be far?"
"Well... no."
"There, she's likely still on school grounds spending time for herself... We've both seen her in math class tapping her pencil, she's likely super-tensed right now."
"Ya, fair. Although she's usually more positive as a person. She must have had a rough morning."
"See, everything's fine."
Yang's eyes went back to her regular color, and she stopped glowing.
"How did her semblance activate? she wasn't angry when she did that." Nora asked.
"Sorry, my semblance is connected to all emotions, anger just activates it faster." Yang stated.
"Oooohhh... I get it, strong emotions make you stronger, that's clever." Nora remarked.
And that's when the bell ringed for the next class. Blake rolled her eyes as the lot of them shoved all their food in their mouth and ate it all haltingly. Followed by chugging the rest of their drink.
Blake just went to her next class.
Character Change: Blake Belladonna - Ruby Rose
Beacon Academy, 2:00 PM (Daylight warning, in class), Monday, Weapon's forge
Weaponsmithing... since this is an elective, not many here would be stressed or bored being here, which is relieving since Ruby was almost at her limit until she went somewhere to calm down. She can use this time to do some tune-ups on her weapons, Crescent Rose and Slice-of-Life. Do some fixing up, sharpening the blade... all that fun stuff.
Ruby started with calibrating her sniper rifle, Crescent Rose. It's best to make sure one's rifle is never left uncalibrated, who would enter a fight unprepared after all? With some tune-ups there, re-attaching the barrel, adjusting the receiver... and, a couple of test fires at the test room... and boom, the gun part of her weapon is done. Now for the blade... first thing's first is to clean the blade of any rust and decay, nobody would sharpen a rusty blade after all.
Not that her blade is rusty from unuse from a couple of days... but it's better to keep things in a brand-new condition. She uses a bit of dust to clean the blade, using water would only rust the blade. It's fire dust, being that her blade has a higher melting point than most other blades. The fire should be able to keep the blade clean whilst not melting Crescent Rose's blade. And than wait a bit to apply the Ice dust, doing it too early will permanently damage the blade. After applying the ice dust at the right time, cooling off the fire... the blade is tempered at a tip-top condition. However, Ruby does not recommend anyone to do this with their weapon, it's an expert-level method of cleaning rust. If a novice tries this, chances are they'd ruin their weapon.
Now to sharpen the blade... Ruby has a special tool she keeps around for sharpening her blade... it's a small grinding wheel, electrical... so she could focus the sharpening whilst not damaging the mechanized parts of the scythe. She does it carefully, sharpening the blade. After a couple of minutes, the blade has been sharpened.
Now on to check on her new weapon: Slice of Life.
Although everyone looked at Ruby when she brought out the giant pizza cutter.
"What'cha got there, Ruby?" A student asked.
"Oh, it's a little project I'm working on." Ruby answered.
"It looks like a giant pizza cutter."
"It is."
"What kind of pizza are you cutting with that?"
"The grimm kind."
"A weaponized pizza-cutter. I'm not sure if that's edgy or just hilarious."
"What?"
"It's literally an all-edge weapon."
"Oooooh, I get it. Nah, I didn't think of that when I made the weapon. But it's still funny now that I think of it." Rubys said, followed by a series of laughter.
The laughter spreads across the rest of class, but Ruby went back to working on her new weapon. She just needs to make a few adjustments and sharpen the blade... along with testing to see if the dust etchings still work... and they do. Currently with all these people, Slice of Life is far too dangerous to test. And chances are it violates at least a few weapon's laws that were implemented after the great war. So, she'll have to hold back on the sharpening and the dust usage... for it'll kill people instead of incapacitating them.
But ya, Ruby potentially made a deadly weapon right there. So, it's best she saves it for an extremely powerful grimm.
She continues working on some of her other projects, including a prototype leg-variant for Yang's ember celicia. If they work out as intended without the recoil breaking a leg, she could give them to Yang to add to her arm pair. She's got 4 limbs, so may as well utilize all of them. She's also got some other ideas, although some of them are unrealistic so she scraps them.
After awhile, the bell rang and now she can go to combat practice.
Beacon Academy, 3:30 PM (Daylight warning, in class), Monday, Indoor combat arena
Due to the amount of influx students from across remnant, combat practice is being held in the arena instead of the stage. It's the circular combat stage, typically students come here to duel or to spar. Dueling has solved a lot of conflicts amongst students, which would have caused an incident otherwise. Even Ruby had to duel for her leadership a couple of times with Weiss, but Ruby won all of them of course. Come to think of it, has anyone ever seen Weiss win a 1v1 duel? Yet again, this was before she upgraded myrtenaster without her consent. All students have combat practice around the same time. This is due to being combat training is something important for all years to learn, and reminders are important for the later years.
Ruby was sitting with her team. Along with most of the students sitting with their teams. She was waiting for professor Goodwitch to assign matchups between students. Although she did not have to wait long, since she just arrived.
"Good afternoon students, I hope you've enjoyed the break. But now we must check up to see if you were just lollygagging or actually intended to improve skills on your own." Glynda announced.
"As a tradition, the leaders of various teams will be set up first. I've started with some high-ranking students from the first year." She continued.
"First matchup, Ruby Rose vs Sun Wukong." She announced.
Ruby went to get changed into her combat outfit. This was her first duel with an actual trained huntsman as a vampire, and one with her new strategy. And she has seen sun fight before, he's one of the more agile fighters. She was getting changed, preparing for fight. Out of the uniform and into her combat outfit. She also grabbed her freshly tuned up Crescent Rose. And went to the arena. Sun followed, carrying his nunchuck-staff thing.
The two of them stepped into the arena, and have wished each other good luck in the upcoming fight.
"BEGIN!" Glynda announced.
Ruby drew Crescent Rose in rifle form, and waited for Sun to strike first. Sun came in spinning his nunchucks in mid air, activating their shotgun blasts, Ruby barely managed to dodge though. After the dodge she took a snap-shot at Sun, which grazed him. Then Sun went in, using his semblance to achieve a number's advantage over Ruby to quickly catch her off-guard. Ruby switched her weapon to scythe mode and fired a round at one of the projections. Followed by a sweep from the scythe, covering all directions.
Of course, he was hoping for that and jumped at Ruby after the sweep. At reflex, Ruby prepared to jump and do a sweep kick. Which results in a painful collision between the two, damaging both of their auras.
Sun activated his semblance again, using his holoclones to overwhelm Ruby. Ruby however, instead of confronting the clones, dodged their attacks, sure there were a couple of hits, but she got it down when her aura dropped below 50.
After a couple more dodges, she got behind sun and swung her scythe at him, followed by a kick at his back. Ruby not controlling her strength kicked him across the arena, which almost got him ringed-out, but it got his aura to yellow.
Now that both of their auras are at yellow. Ruby focuses more on dodging and precise strikes. She changed Crescent Rose to sniper rifle mode and prepared to attack from afar.
Sun switched his weapon to staff mode and managed to deflect the attacks, bullets flying outside the arena, and he now makes a counter. He uses his holoclones to get into the air making a leap attack with his staff on Ruby. She managed to Block it with the stock with her rifle, both of them being back on the ground.
Sun switches back to nunchuck-shotguns. Which he fires and flings around, creating a field of bullets around him. This makes Melee suicide for Ruby, and ranged attacks negated... this is a clever tactic, although this does not guarantee victory, she just has to wait until Sun has to reload. Ruby just has to dodge all the shells until that happens.
Ruby managed to dodge the shells and after Sun used up all his ammo to delay his defeat, Sun pauses to reload, and this is when Ruby loads a bullet, fires back to use the recoil to launch her towards sun, making a finishing strike. It hits, knocking Sun back out of the arena and making his aura drop below 20%, a double whammy victory for Ruby.
"Sun Wukong has been knocked out of the arena and his aura is below 20%, he is out by a double knockout. Ruby wins the matchup!" Professor Goodwitch announced.
Ruby and Sun greet eachother and went on to be a good sport about the outcome. Now for the lecture.
"Mister Wukong, I'm not sure what they teach you at Haven, but they clearly forget to lecture you on ammo conservation and careful planning. Using your shotgun shells to make a shield is a good stratedgy, but only at close range, doing it at the distance you did will only make them wait out until you ran out of ammo like you did just now. If you had went to attack Ruby at close range instead of reloading, you could have potentially won the matchup. Other than that, you did a well job." Professor Goodwitch lectured at Sun.
Sun just gave a thumbs up and went to the changing room.
"As for you miss Rose, I congratulate you for using evasive maneuvers for taking less damage to your aura. However, not using your semblance is a high-risk factor when it comes to fighting, it provides many advantages, none of which you took advantage of. The usage of your semblance could have made it easier to make quick strikes at your opponent or strike them from behind. The fact you didn't use your semblance meant you were left at a disadvantage that would cost you the fight many times over if you were not a careful planner." professor Goodwitch lectured at Ruby.
"Thank you, professor." Ruby responded, before heading to the changing room. Which she went to change back to her uniform.
She got changed back into her uniform, right when she was seeing Jaune fighting some guy from a second-rate huntsman academy. And it appears Jaune is winning for one. If the team leader is losing to Jaune of all people, it would make one wonder how they managed to qualify for the Vytal tournament. But it's fun to see the fight, and Ruby was quietly rooting for Jaune. Got to keep the combatants from being distracted and all.
After Jaune won for once... that isn't against Weiss. Coco and an Atlassian student went up next, followed Cardin and a Vacuan student. Then there were two students from other schools fighting. Team leader after team leader, the matchups have commenced. Two entire hours of matchups have occurred. And all students were not on a mission have commenced their matchups. Finally, Glynda has stepped in front of the arena to make an announcement.
"I'll be reminding you that there will be a school dance on Sunday, with missions starting for first years on Monday. We've elected team JNPR to plan the dance location and spots. Team RWBY came in a close second, but the staff did not like the sudden change in Miss Rose's sleeping habits, and deemed she wouldn't do much and her team would be doing all the work. So, we chose JNPR instead. Congratulations to team JNPR, you may start on that now. And as for the Vytal fairgrounds and Pyrefest, we've elected it won't be in the central park, it will be just outside the city of Vale. In the plain outskirts. Now class is dismissed." Glynda announced.
Ruby and her team got changed back to their casual wear. Although Ruby and Blake have decided to go somewhere private...
Beacon Academy, 5:13 PM (Daylight Warning), Monday, Interrogation Room
Dark and unused, perfect for Ruby and Blake to do their... thing. Ruby needing to feed and all.
No words were spoken, Blake stretched her neck down and Ruby bit it, as usual. She drank for around 7 seconds and than let go. Ruby than savored the taste of Blake's blood. She may have overdone it, since she collapsed after being let go.
Oh shoot, please don't become a vampire like me. You're the one thing keeping me from killing the school.
She overdrank Blake... Oh shoot. She can't call for help because she's gonna reveal her vampirism... Just cover up the bite mark and stop any more bloodflow. Now she's got to wait until Blake comes to.
One hour passed. And Blake finally woke up. She opened her mouth to check for fangs... thankfully no vampire for Blake.
"You went over, Ruby." Blake scolded.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't have much to drink today." Ruby apologized.
"It's fine, just don't do it again, I don't want you to turn me into a vampire."
"I don't even know how to turn someone in the first place, and I wouldn't turn anyone intentionally!"
"I know, you just scared me, that's all."
"Let's get back to JNPR before we miss any crucial information."
"Right."
The two of them got out of the dark room, and went to the JNPR dorm without any interruptions, since the sun is down, Ruby can just walk there without her being burned alive... er... dead. It's complicated.
Beacon Academy, 6:17 PM, Monday, JNPR Dorm
Ruby took her shoes off beforehand and knocked the door. Jaune opened and let them in.
Apparently, they were going over the data Ren has recovered... wow, that's a lot of reminders to get one girl a pony. Well... two girls, and a boy... Who the heck uses their business computer for personal use? The CEO of the SDC apparently. There's a lot of dirt on Jacque Schnee. However, any Schnee interference last Monday was dismissed since there was nothing on a Dust Capacitor.
There were dozens of reports of SDC cargo being raided by White Fang, executives killed too. Apparently, the primary suspect of this is one Adam Tauras, who once was accompanied by an accomplice, guess that must have been Blake. The entire room now looked at Blake because she was in the White Fang.
"Ah great, now we're talking about him now?" Blake asked.
"That sounds like a personal 'him'." Nora commented.
"I'm guessing you two were intimate with one another?" Jaune asked.
"We were dating, but nothing beyond that." Blake answered.
"Ooooh, your ex-boyfriend's a terrorist... that must be rough." Nora stated.
"You have no Idea."
"How did you dump him?"
"I just ditched him after he started killing civilians."
"Not even a word, dang Blake your colder than Weiss!" Ruby commented.
"Please stop scolding me for ditching him, he's a terrible person after all." Blake stated.
The entire room went awkward talking about Blake's Ex. And soon, they decided to work on another topic. The Atlas Military. The first thing they saw is information is plans for the troops stationed in Vale... currently no invasion, so that is a relief, no Great War Two after all.
And after looking for something about a Dust Capacitor... the six of them have found information on Penny... apparently, she's not human... nor a faunus... nor actually alive... nor a vampire... she's mechanical, an android. The entire room was in shock when they saw this... Penny's blueprints. This means that Penny is somehow a machine with an aura... where did they get the technology for that? And what intentions does atlas have putting a robot in the vytal tournament? The Atlas military may not be responsible for the Blackout, but they are acting pretty suspicious with expressing their military in Vale, along with having an android pose as a student.
Guess that means Pyrrha can't participate in the finals if Penny makes it to the singles. Don't want to cause an incident and make Penny a scrap of heaps... Robot or no, Penny is still Ruby's friend. However, Penny doesn't know about Ruby's vampirism so no doubt she'll be as sympathizing about Ruby not being living.
After a series of discussion, they've agreed to not discuss about Penny's robotic status.
"Well, we got nothing." Jaune stated.
"There's still mountain glenn, I can have my team go there to search the white fang headquarters for a dust capacitor!" Ruby said.
"Well, true."
"But this means Atlas and the SDC has nothing to do with the Blackout. So which means the motive is not for invasion or relating to the festival." Ren commented.
"That is indeed, very strange. Who would steal a dust capacitor if it weren't for those reasons?" Nora asked.
"Money?" Ruby asked.
"Nope, I already said that nobody sold a dust capacitor of Beacon's quality around the area within a couple of decades." Jaune stated.
"Guess our only lead is mountain gleen." Blake stated.
"But how do we get there? It's off limits to anyone without a huntsman liscence!" Nora stated.
"I'll find a way, no worry." Ruby said.
"You're gonna get a mission that leads you to mountain glenn, won't you?" Jaune asked.
"Yep."
"Well, good luck."
"Thank you."
Afterwards, and the last bit of recap the it finally reached 8PM. And Ruby and Blake left the dorm. And this may be the last meeting for awhile until they get information at Mountain Glenn. Which means Ruby can spend the night honing her vampire skills and hopefully not activate them for the first time on accident.
Author's Footnote: Finally, it's done. Sorry it took so long, my computer broke and I had to continue writing on mobile, that was the part with Port and Math.
