Character Change: Ruby Rose - Blake Belladonna

Beacon Academy, 7:15 AM, Saturday, RWBY Dormitory

Blake had woken up... to notice that Weiss is changing Ruby's alarm.

"Weiss, why are you changing Ruby's alarm?" Blake asked out of concern for Ruby.

"Vampire or no, I don't feel like someone should sleep for more than eight hours." Weiss interjected.

"I think I can wake her up when she needs to be out during the day..."

"Still... she'd be sleeping for twelve hours."

"She doesn't have much of a choice, Weiss. She's a vampire, going out during the day would risk her post-life."

"Wouldn't undeath make more sense?"

"Pretty sure Ruby would be more comfortable saying that she's 'post-living' than 'undead'."

"Can you two please stop arguing over my sister's mortality? It's still a lot to handle for my sister to not be fully alive." Yang yelled.

"She is my girlfriend!" Blake objected.

"She is my sister! She's been my sister for far longer than she's been your girlfriend!" Yang objected back.

"Can you please shut up!? I'm trying to sleep!" Ruby complained.

"Sorry Rubes." Yang said.

"Sorry, Ruby." Blake said somberly.

Weiss just stayed silent in defeat.

Meanwhile, Ruby turned her head away from her team trying to sleep. Vampire or no, guess she can't really sleep like the dead all of the time.

"Guess we're having leftovers for breakfast." Blake said.

"Not the first time for me." Yang stated.

Blake had gotten up to take a shower, better to take one before Yang hogs up all the hot water like she always does. Blake has stepped into the shower. Cleaning herself before Yang and Weiss gets a hold of it. The details of the showering are those typical of the detail, she washes every single part of her body. No need to go into more details than that. She than shampoos her hair. And the fur on her cat ears... she needs to keep herself clean. Physically. No way is her past is clean. The only one she fully opened to is Ruby. Metaphorically, the only way for Ruby to see Blake not wearing anything is if Ruby was peeping on her... which Blake doubts. Even though Ruby was using her night vision to stare at Blake's breasts.

Blake had stepped out of the shower, cleaned and dried up... she than brushed her teeth. The toothpaste isn't flavored, so it doesn't affect taste. Besides, after this... she has to go to the dentists tomorrow. She scheduled an appointment at the beginning of the school year. And the date is tomorrow. Guess she has the rest of the week filled up for her.

Well, now that Blake is out of the shower... although wearing nothing but a towel, Weiss pushed her out of the way to take a shower... guess she learned the hard way about not wanting Yang taking up all the hot water. But no matter... she needed to change into the clothes she'd be wearing for bowling. So... pretty much some sneakers that will be taken off, along with some jeans, and a button up shirt... with an undershirt under that. Of course, with her typical underwear of course.

Which than Blake went and heated up some of the leftovers from one of previous days. It was a mix of the meals, but it will fill up Blake for the day.

And it appears Weiss just got out of the shower too... although she's not being lazy this time, something must be happening today for her, then. Given that she's wearing something casual. Casual Weiss is still something Blake is surprised to see. Well, at least Weiss isn't anything like that snooty image she pictured her as. That's a relief to know, though. She went and grabbed some leftovers.

"You're dressed different." Weiss commented to Blake.

"Ruby said that me and her, along with Sun and Yang are going bowling today. So, I figured I'd dress for the occasion. What about you?" Blake stated, then asked.

"Oh, I plan on hanging out Jaune a bit, you know, slumming it with the commoners." Weiss said in a jokingly tone.

"Well, that's great! I hope you have a good time."

"Thank you. I hope that double date goes well."

And then, she hears the door open... which means Yang's out. For some reason, she really needs to learn not to use up all the hot water. There are people other than her who would like warm showers. Then there's Ruby who doesn't mind cold showers apparently. Must be a vampire thing.

Blake had finished eating her food. And went on to read a book until Ruby wakes up. It's going to be awhile before she wakes up, so may as well pass the time.

Character Change: Blake Belladonna - Jaune Arc

Beacon Academy, 7:30 AM, Saturday, JNPR Dorm

Jaune had just gotten out of the shower. Yesterday Weiss asked to hang out with him, but he promised his team that they'd go bowling today. So, Jaune said that he'd bring Weiss along to his team, and to Weiss that she can hang out with the team. None of them seemed to mind. As of now, he's getting something to wear until the hangout. And went to heat up some of the leftovers from last night.

The rest of the team (especially Nora) is excited for this. Been awhile since they had to hang out. Although they must clean up Oobleck's classroom first. Hence, why he's not wearing the bowling outfit just yet. Figured he needs a break, given that the dust capacitor thief could basically be anyone, given that he found no motive, and everyone seems to be telling the truth. But he must clean up the classroom before doing anything else. It's a punishment for destroying a priceless artifact.

But other than that, hanging out with his team and Weiss at a bowling alley, maybe actually bowling. Would sound fun.

He just wished he didn't break that artifact, though.

Character Change: Jaune Arc - Ruby Rose

Beacon Academy, 1:00 PM (Daylight warning), Saturday, RWBY Dorm

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Ruby gasped for breath as she woke up from the alarm.

"Do you always do that when you wake up?" Weiss asked in an investigative tone.

"Only when I'm not being woken up on my own." Ruby answered honestly.

"Oh... by the way, I changed your alarm again." Weiss stated.

"Why?"

"Because you shouldn't sleep for more than eight hours. Besides, you have a double date to go to today."

"Oh. Right. Just let me get out of bed." Ruby stated, getting out of bed. And getting a towel to prepare for her shower.

"So... vampires don't need to breathe, right?" Weiss asked.

"Correct, but I do it because I want to feel somewhat alive. The air that comes in and out are the same, no actual respiration takes place." Ruby stated.

"Makes sense."

"Anything I missed while I was asleep? Other than you three arguing?"

"Well... we had leftovers, Blake is reading, and Yang is getting Sun. She says that SSSN is doing something quick in the morning. So, she's helping him take care of it quicker."

"Does she even say what it is?"

"Nope."

"Okay than... Blake can you come here? I'm going to need to take a bite before hopping in the shower!?" Ruby yelled.

"You don't have to yell!" Blake complained, followed by her walking to Ruby to have her receive her daily feed. Blake had lowered her neck and prepared for the bite. Weiss looked away.

Ruby had bit down on Blake's neck, drinking Blake's blood. Ruby enjoyed the taste of her blood... but she needed to hurry and shower, so she let go after a moment. That's enough blood to keep Ruby sated for a while. "Well, I'm off to take the shower now!" Ruby stated, headed to the bathroom.

Ruby had stepped into the bathroom and took her cold shower. No need to go into detail for the shower since it was pretty much the same as any other shower... showering, brushing her fangs, all that stuff. It's simply her morning routine now. It's not easy being a vampire, but Ruby could handle it. She mostly got it down, and now she can lay low a bit easier with her team trusting her. She needs all the trust she can get, because she's above the rest of her team on the food chain by a technical cause.

Afterwards, she found some clothes already picked out for Ruby.

"I figured I'd pick something that'd look nice on you. And to fit the occasion." Blake stated.

"Blake, you didn't have to." Ruby said in a thankful tone.

"I know."

Ruby had grabbed the clothes and put them on somewhere discreet. Modesty is important, even in front of her team. She is after all, only fifteen, although she'll be sixteen in a couple of days.

She got dressed in a pair of comfortably fitting jeans and sneakers, with a polo shirt. With her iconic colors of course. Of course, she must go the bathroom and apply her costume makeup. Just in case policies have her take off her bandana. Which she put on. All the bandannas are in the dryer right now. So, she must get downstairs to the communal laundro-mat.

"Blake, bring the box downstairs to the laundro-mat and text Yang to have her and Sun meet us at the front door of the dormitory. I'll be getting a bandana from the laundro-mat, they're mixed in with our towels." Ruby stated.

"Kay, I was wondering where your bandannas went." Blake said in a relieved tone.

"They may be a simple piece of cloth, but they get dirty too." Ruby objected.

"Right. So... get the box and dolly downstairs."

"And then open it so I can get in the box."

"Yes, we've been through this a couple of times, Ruby."

"I know, I know. But my life is on the line here. If there is one peak of sunlight, you'll be opening a box filled with ash and dust." Ruby said in a gloom and dark tone.

"Okay, I think I get it." Blake stated.

"Thank you, Blake!" Ruby said in a cheerful and happy tone.

I wonder why my mood is so jumpy. It'll pass by hopefully.

Character Change: Ruby Rose - Blake Belladonna

Beacon Academy, 1:12 PM, Saturday, Communal Lanundro-mat

The dormitory communal laundro-mat. Each dorm room has an assigned washer and dryer. These are high-quality minimal use washing machines, with a programmed function to keep mildew from growing. This is because students tend to be forgetful about their own laundry. There were washers and dryers everywhere across the room. With the iconic white coloring everywhere. Seeing White everywhere is said to be bad for the psyche. Which is why the floor was not. It was grey. Or was it gray? Which one is the right word? People use them interchangeably.

But no less, Blake had done laundry this weekend, last week it was Yang's job. Blake covered for Ruby's shift the week before, because her vampirism meant she'd be asleep during daylight hours. Which means in two months, her team would wake her up to do laundry. The team agreed that every week laundry duty would change by inverse order of the Team's name, starting with Yang, then Blake, then Weiss, then Ruby, then Yang again, and so on.

Ruby went in and grabbed a bandana from the laundro-mat. Meanwhile Blake had to get the laundry out of the dryer. And than have them put away back at the dorms before heading out with Ruby... who was inside the box she's supposed to be carrying, she had the laundry sitting in various piles and stuff, and the towels in another pile. She doesn't have the patience to fold anything right now. She just went back downstairs to the laundro-mat to seal Ruby in the box and start pushing the dolly out of the dorm...

She was pushing the dolly toward the front entrance of the dorm. Where Yang and Sun are waiting. Sun of course, was wearing his typical outfit. Yang could be seen wearing a shirt with a button up jacket and a skirt. With sneakers of course. Thank goodness for Anti-Upskirt technology provided by modern fashion designers. Just imagine all the wardrobe malfunction tabloid entries would come from today's clumsy models.

"You don't spend a lot of time with your team, Sun." Blake stated.

"Actually, I just pulled him from a team activity of their own." Yang defended Sun.

"Oh, what were they doing?"

"They were playing with toy guns in the dorm."

Blake giggled when she heard that, and she could hear noise coming from the box, which she elbowed.

"Was the box laughing?" Sun asked.

"No." Blake lied.

"Boxes don't laugh. This is the real world, not a kid's cartoon!" Yang backed up Blake's lie.

"Guess it was my imagination, then." Sun said.

Bullet dodged. Well, in Ruby's defense, what Yang said was funny.

Blake did a quick text to Ruby, reminding her to stay quiet in the box. Ruby responded with a thumbs up emoji.

"I texted Ruby, she says she's already on the way." Blake lied.

"Yep, Rubes has always been the impatient type." Yang added onto Blake's lie.

"So... what are we waiting for? Let's hurry and get there." Sun ordered in a rushed tone.

Sun ran out the door... heading to the bullhead...

"Does he know that you have a driver's license?" Blake asked.

"I am not putting the dolly and/or box in my car, Blake." Yang retorted.

"Okay than, guess we're walking than."

"The exercise is good, just wish Ruby would do it more."

"Don't worry Blake, Ruby goes out often at night... on foot... or on wings."

"I'm still getting over the fact she could do that."

"So am I... you know she did hit on me while in bird form."

"You're joking."

"I wish I was, and at the time, I didn't know it was her either."

"Can you two please not talk about me like I'm not here?" Ruby complained, inside the box.

Yang elbowed the box. "Boxes don't talk!" Yang reminded Ruby.

"Anyways, we have a bowling alley to go to." Blake reminded Yang, pushing the dolly holding the box, containing Ruby.

The two of them caught up with Sun at the bullhead. Blake was pushing the dolly so she arrived last, being that she has to push the weight of her girlfriend and a couple more pounds on top of that. But thankfully that's what the dolly is for. So, she has less effort in pushing Ruby around. It's not the first time anyway. Blake's just glad Ruby's becoming more willing to go out during the day... even though she's constricted to staying indoors because of her vampirism.

After they got on the bullhead, they landed in the commercial district to find a bowling alley.

Character Change: Blake Belladonna - Ruby Rose

City of Vale, 1:44 PM (Daylight warning), Saturday, Bowling Alley

The vale bowling alley, or at least the one her and Yang go to every once in awhile. It's the typical bowling alley layout, wide in length, with a small arcade for children, and a cafeteria. With twenty-four bowling alley lanes.

Ruby can feel Blake pushing somewhere discreet. And a stop. She heard some knocking... that means the coast is clear for her to step out of the box. Which she did... Ruby was glad to get out of that box. It felt cramped. And vampires are said to sleep in coffins? She wouldn't think about that. She's just glad she's not confined somewhere.

Ruby was looking at Blake with a stern face.

"Relax Ruby, we were just messing with you, now let's have fun." Blake said.

"Okay..." Ruby said, with some doubt. However, she's still looking forward to the event.

The ladybug couple went to catch up with the Yang and Sun, registering for bowling. They did catch up... especially when Ruby used her semblance to rush her and Blake towards them, leaving a trail of wilted rose petals. Guess it's a force of habit.

"Great, the other two people of our party showed up." Sun announced.

"So... you want four pairs of shoes?" the register asked.

"Yes." Yang stated.

"But I saw three people enter the alley." the register said.

"No, you saw four." Ruby said, trying to deceive the register.

The register had paused and than looked at Ruby. "I guess you're right, maybe I did see four people enter." the register said.

Wait, that actually worked?

Ruby was dumbfounded, she can't believe that actually worked. Although she should try something to see if it's not a fluke. Although what exactly.

"Okay... that'd be 900 Lien and your alley is lane number 14." The register stated.

"We will pay 450 Lien." Ruby said in a deceiving tone.

The register had paused as if their mind is blank, and than looked at Ruby. "Oh right... 450 Lien. Forgot about that discount you had... or what it was for..." the register said.

The book doesn't say anything about Mind tricks. Either I have space-magic powers, or this is one of those powers that I, the Duke, and potentially other valeanvampires have. Like that faunas vampire was talking about.

Ruby had handed over 450 Lien to the register and the bowling shoes was handed to the group, and lane number fourteen was reserved. Ruby still can't believe she just did that, and the rest of the group was looking at her very strangely... yet again... using vampire powers in public would do that. Despite Sun not knowing she's a vampire, and that this one was very subtle, no grimm or anything involved. Well, atleast it's convenient.

After getting the shoes and heading to lane 14, Blake and Yang were sitting, and Ruby was hinted to sit with them. So, she sat down with them.

"Well... how long have you been... doing... that?" Yang asked in a scolding tone.

"Yang, I swore I just found out I could that, whatever that is only recently." Ruby defended herself.

"But must you really just cut the price of our admission in half?' Blake asked.

"I wanted to test to see if it was not a fluke."

"Whatever, just make sure you don't use your powers to exploit innocent people."

"Alright than. Even though I was surprised that it actually worked."

"Good. Glad we got that covered."

"Hey, I just finished setting everyone up! Let's get the balls and start!" Sun announced, going to grab one of the loaner bowling balls.

No one brought bowling balls so the rest of the group followed. Each of balls weigh according to what they think would have the ball throw at the best, according to their height, weight, and finger size. They also had taken off the shoes they have brought here and put on the bowling shoes.

After getting the balls ready. They set them down on the bowling ball return thingy. Ruby doesn't know what it's called.

"Hey guys, do even know what this is called?" Ruby asked, pointing at the bowling ball return thingy.

"I don't know, I've actually never been in a bowling alley before." Blake said.

"Same here." Sun commented.

"I don't think anyone even knows what those are called." Yang stated.

"I was just curious." Ruby defended herself.

"Well, I'll need to get my ball. I go first." Sun said in a confident tone.

"Sun, I love you honey. but why do you got to go first?" Yang asked in a somewhat begging voice.

"Because I set the thing up. If you had set up the thing, I would let you pick whatever turn order you'd like."

"Well... it's just that..." Yang was trying to plead, before getting interrupted.

"Yang, can you not beg for Sun to change the order? It's kind of weird coming from you, and the rest of us just want to play." Ruby interrupted.

"Come on, Ruby. She was just playing." Sun commented.

"Sorry."

"No, it's fine."

"I was going to let him go first anyway." Yang commented, followed by taking a seat at the table.

Ruby and Blake followed and sat across Yang. Whilst Sun was out bowling.

Bowling scores:

Sun: 0

Yang: 0

Ruby: 0

Blake: 0

Ruby watched Sun running toward the lane and saw him throw the ball underhand... and was tilting the direction it was going it, only knocking down 1 pin.

"So... how's your love life? Despite the fact you two sleep in separate times." Yang asked.

"It's pretty good, I'd like to take every opportunity of spare time when Blake is up to spend time with her... despite only that we've only been dating for almost one week." Ruby answered.

"We've only started officially dating after our first kiss." Blake stated honestly.

"Which is?"

"The dance from last week." Ruby answered bluntly.

"Well, you've known each other for like three months. And you decide to date each other?" Yang asked.

"Only last week!" Ruby answered.

"And how intimate have you two been?" Yang asked.

"To be honest, the most intimate thing we've done is tongue-kissing, while holding each other." Blake stated.

"So... like what I saw yesterday?"

"yes..."

"Well, I'm glad you're not rushing it, then." Yang said.

"Well... I've learned from you." Ruby said, jokingly.

"And here I am worried you'd try to rush your relationships like you use your semblance!" Yang retorted jokingly.

"Ruby's been loving. Even when she's... feeding." Blake said.

"I can tell." Yang commented. "Just remember, we have separate beds for a reason."

"Not like we sleep at the same time anyway, Yang. Just relax, Blake and I have not done anything more than tongue kissing." Ruby said to coerce Yang.

And than foot steps can be heard, it was Sun after only knocking down 4 pins in total.

"Well, guess Yang's been interviewing you for long enough, it's my turn now." Sun said, reaching down for a smooch from Yang, which she obliged.

Yang had gotten up to get her ball and prepare to bowl.

Bowling scores:

Sun: 4

Yang: 0

Ruby: 0

Blake: 0

Sun had sat down next to where Yang was sitting. Meanwhile Ruby was looking at Yang and was rooting for her... silently.

Meanwhile Sun and Blake have been discussing about Ruby and Blake's discussion. She'll get into it.

Yang and rolled the ball in... and it knocked half the pins down!

And than she could feel her shoulder being tapped.

"What do you need, Blakey?" Ruby asked.

"Sun asked you a question and you weren't paying attention." Blake stated.

"So... Ruby. What made you want to date Blake? She's a lucky catch." Sun asked.

"Well... I can't tell you all the details. But there's that sudden feeling I had... and I didn't know what it was until the dance was coming up." Ruby answered... partially telling the truth. "There was this feeling I had... I still don't know what to call it... but it kind of shaped itself into... love."

"Well... that's kind of cute." Sun responded.

"We just sort of well... bonded after spending time together. And that became love." Blake added.

"Ya... that." Ruby commented.

"Do you do anything together?" Sun asked.

"Recently I've been a night person, and Blake likes the day so there's a small window we could spend time together." Ruby said.

"Well... that's a bit sad." Sun said.

"We make it work, though."

"Well, that's good I think."

The sound of pins knocking down could be heard. A full 10. She got a spare. So... 5 points for Yang, and 10 additional for her next roll. Which she had went back to the table and sat next to her boyfriend Sun. Which means Ruby is up to bowl.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 4

Yang: 5 + Spare

Ruby: 0

Blake: 0

Ruby doesn't question why she goes third. But she's not as good at bowling as Yang. And Yang is pretty much mediocre on bowling. She may win this game. But she's here for fun, not to win.

Ruby had grabbed a bowling ball aaaaaand...

She threw the ball underhanded... it did a couple of small bounces... and managed to hit 7 pins.

Ruby did a little cheerful jumping. Which she needed to calm down so she doesn't trigger her semblance on accident.

"And you worry that my semblance would go off on it's own." Yang retorted jokingly.

"I stopped before it went off, though." Ruby defended.

"Don't you have to finish your turn?" Yang asked.

"Oh. Right! Sorry! I got distracted by my celebration!"

Ruby went and grabbed her ball again... and she went and threw it last time... and it landed in the gutter. Well... guess she's at seven now.

Although a bit sad, she just knows it's just a game, and these things happen. She went and sat down. And winked at Blake. She'd smooch, but the bandana would get in the way of that and all of that. So she just winked and sat next to her. Blake responded with a kiss on the cheek. That's not covered by the bandana.

Sun looked at the scene with a bit of confusion. Ruby can feel his confusion too, and doubt. Yang was just giggling.

"What? I didn't want to take my bandana off!" Ruby defended herself.

"Can't you take the bandana off?" Sun asked.

"No, I can't. And don't ask why. It's just something I wear." Ruby defended herself.

"You seem very defensive of your bandana, Ruby." Sun stated.

"I am not being defensive of my bandana." Ruby said, trying to deceive Sun.

"Yes, you are." Sun replied, not affecting by whatever Ruby had done. Guess her new power doesn't work on people with unlocked auras.

"Sun, don't start anything. We're trying to have fun." Yang consoled Sun.

"Sorry, babe. It's just that... it's just weird seeing Ruby with the bandana..." Sun responded.

"People like to change up their outfits every now and than. For example. Ruby and I are wearing matching outfits. Save for the color patterns." Blake stated. While she is discreetly texting without looking at her scroll.

"Good point, also isn't it your turn?" Sun asked.

"Oh. Sorry got absorbed by the conversation." Blake said, getting up.

Ruby received a text from Blake.

'you are wearing costume makeup, right?' Blake texted.

'yes, but I am a bit expressive when it comes to bowling and cheering.' Ruby texted

'Well, at least lower it when you know you're not being expressive. I'd like to smooch your lips, or near them.' Blake texted, with a wink emoji.

She lowers it though. Mostly because Blake wants to see her face, and that Sun is being a bit investigative today.

"See, there's nothing under the bandana you should worry about." Ruby lied, with her costume makeup intact.

"Sorry, I just got a bit paranoid." Sun said.

"Let's just drop this and move on to something else." Ruby stated.

"Agreed." Sun and Yang said at the same time.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 4

Yang: 5 + Spare

Ruby: 7

Blake: 0

Ruby was eyeing Blake... although she isn't paying attention of the bowling, but the bowler herself. Seeing the movement of her girlfriend is quite... well... She doesn't have a word for it. But she does find her hot.

"Sis, you can look at your girlfriend at anytime. You don't need to scope her." Yang stated.

"I know." Ruby said with a cheerful sigh.

"Look on the bright side, Yang. She only has eyes for her." Sun said in a jokingly tone.

"Come on, I know you've been looking at her too." Yang responded jokingly.

"And you know I won't cheat on you."

"And that's why I love you."

"I thought it was for my many charms."

"We all know that's just a friendly bonus."

"Your drool when you saw me in that tux said otherwise."

Their relationship can be described as... weird. Being that it's incredibly filled with inside jokes and flirtatious humor. Well, at least Ruby hopes that's humor.

She hears her sister and her faunas friend making sarcastic, yet flirtish statements. Yang was always one for sarcastic humor. But hey, love takes on many forms. Ruby's just glad Yang's found someone who she thinks won't break her heart a third time. Ruby didn't interject, but listen to their conversation. And it was totally not to peak at Blake. Which she did anyway.

She saw Blake walk back to sit next to Ruby, who gave her a quick smooch.

"Back so soon?" Yang asked.

"I got a strike." Blake replied.

"Yes, you told me about your strikes, Blake." Sun said satirically.

"You know what I meant." Blake retorted.

A strike? Wow, she's good at this.

Ya... Ruby and Yang were never good at bowling, especially Ruby. Her father wasn't that good either. Sure, they've got spares in the past, but not a full-on strike. So, this is a surprise.

Soon Sun got up, and started the second frame.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 9 + Spare

Yang: 21

Ruby: 15

Blake: 40

The third frame had started. Sun had gotten a spare after knocking down half the pins. Similar to Yang. Yang herself only gotten 6 pins down, and than accidentally rolled a ball into the gutter. Ruby suffered from a 7-10 split, and had missed with the second roll. Blake got another strike.

"Wow, two strikes in a row!" Yang exclaimed out of surprise.

"This is my first-time bowling too." Blake stated.

"You're lying."

"No, I'm serious. I've never bowled until today."

"Have you done something similar to this in the past?" Ruby asked.

"Well... I've had to roll circular devices towards targets in the past while I was with... y'know who." Blake stated.

"'y'know who?' If that's not an ex of yours, then I'll be assuming it's a gorilla grimm." Yang commented.

"You wouldn't be far off." Blake commented... with a somber tone. Ruby can feel sadness from her. Which Ruby tried to counter with a quick smooch.

"Thanks Ruby." Blake responded to the smooch.

"I still can't get used to you sensing emotions like that." Yang commented.

"It's helpful for cheering up my girlfriend here, or consoling you... that's a plus." Ruby stated.

"Yang, I don't think it's smart to talk about Ruby's... condition in public." Blake commented.

"Oh, right. Just got a bit concerned with what she did at with the register." Yang said. Ruby can feel her embarrassment.

"Yang, you don't have to be embarrassed." Ruby stated.

"Again, it's kind of disturbing."

"Try feeling it..."

"Well, let's lighten up the mood. New topic. Something not related to Ruby." Yang said, trying to divert the topic.

And than Sun went walking down. It appears he's gotten 8 of the pins down. Which than he greeted Yang who than went up to bowl herself. Only Yang would be bold enough to go bowling in a skirt.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 34

Yang: 30

Ruby: 21

Blake: 90

Yang started bowling on the fourth frame. Blake got three strikes in a row. Which surprised everyone else here. Given that everyone else is just really not good at bowling.

Ruby than started to notice JNPR and Weiss on lane 15, she waved.

Weiss waved back. So is Nora. Then Ren turned around and waved. Jaune was bowling... and he got a strike.

What? How did he get a strike and not me!?

But paying attention to JNPR is distracting. She has to focus on her double date, not JNPR's hangout... plus Weiss.

"And that's how I decided to become a huntsman." Sun stated, with Ruby not paying attention to Sun's story.

"That's interesting." Ruby commented... and lied.

"Glad you enjoyed the story."

"Yep. I did." Ruby lied.

"Huh, well it's interesting to know that about you." Blake stated.

"Yep." Sun responded.

Yang had finished with her turn of bowling. She knocked down 6 pins and got a spare. She went and sat back down to the table. Followed by Ruby getting up for her turn.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 44

Yang: 51

Ruby: 27

Blake: 130

At the sixth Frame, and Ruby is at last place. Despite this, she's still having fun. Yet again, she never gets the highest score of bowling. Well, the time out has been fun so far. Nothing like a game of bowling to cheer up the spirits. But Blake's score makes it very humbling. She got five strikes in a row! It may not last though.

She focuses... on the ball... and the alley. Trying to get the strike... she rolled the ball down the lane... aaaand.

Sounds of eight pins being knocked down could be heard. It's another 7-10 split.

Ruby sighed... guess she's really not having a good bowling time. She went to the return thingy to grab her ball again... and this time she aims at one of the pins... throwing it... aaaand.

It only knocked one pin down. 9 points is not bad. And she knows it's just a game too.

She went to sit down and let Blake smooch her. It is a date, after all. With Blake getting up to bowl. Now she can look at her girlfriend go and converse until her next turn.

Bowling Scores:

Sun: 58

Yang: 65 + Spare

Ruby: 40 + Spare

Blake: 190

It's the eighth frame. And it's confirmed that Blake wins this. Considering no one is going to score higher than 190. And given that she has seven strikes in a row...

"Wow, Blake is good at bowling." Yang stated the obvious.

"Definitely better than the rest of us..." Ruby commented.

"Definitely, for sure. There's no way any of us is getting more points than her at this point in the game." Sun said, sarcastically.

"Well, I know you won't." Yang sarcastically joked.

"Like you have tried, you've had yet to get a strike." Sun joked back.

"Neither have you."

"Well... at least you both have more points than me..." Ruby commented.

"That's true." Sun commented on the comment.

"Well, we all had a good time. That we can all agree on." Yang stated.

"Yep." Ruby responded.

"I guess I don't have anything worried about your relationship. Other than Blake's suspiciously good bowling skills."

Blake was heading back from the alley.

"Speak of the cat." Yang reacted.

"And to your surprise, I didn't get a strike." Blake uttered.

"Let me guess, 7-10 split?" Ruby asked.

"Yep. But I managed to get a spare." Blake responded back.

Literally everyone else in the group had remained silent in reaction to Blake's unusual bowling skills. Although she did say she did something similar back in the White Fang. After that Sun went to get his ninth frame.

City of Vale, 6:12 PM, Saturday, Commercial District

"You sure you don't want to eat out with us you two?" Sun offered.

"We're sure, besides we need to take the box back." Blake stated.

The double date went well. And in background, apparently Jaune got a perfect game... that's a huge slice of humble pie for both Ruby and Blake. Well... they needed it anyway.

With the date being a success, the two went to head back to the dorm to bring the box back. Together. They're dating. That's something they do.

The two would be holding hands... but the dolly and box come first.

"So... now that we're technically alone. Would you mind telling me how you did that?" Blake asked, wondering about Ruby's apparent mind-trick abilities.

"I don't know, the book didn't say anything about what I did just there." Ruby answered.

"But it is a 'symptom' of your 'condition', right?" Blake asked.

"That, I know for sure. How else would I be able to haggle the game at half price?"

"True."

"And we both know it can only work on people who haven't had their aura unlocked."

"So... civilians?"

"And mooks."

"Well, glad to see you're coming up with ways to use your 'condition' to your advantage."

"Ya..."

"What do you want to do to pass the time while we wait for Yang and Weiss to come back?" Blake asked.

"I don't know, chill and relax. Maybe cuddle on the couch."

"Also, I just noticed something."

"What?"

"Did we check if Sun was paying attention to any topics relating to your 'condition'?"

"Oh..."

"Ya... just hope he wasn't paying attention."

"Who knows, maybe with Yang, maybe he'd think we were talking about DnD."

"Well... just don't think about it until it comes up."

"Sounds like a plan."

The two of them went to the nearest bullhead to get back to Beacon. Where they'd relax and cuddle for the next couple of hours.

Author's Footnote: Sorry, this took longer than usual. Yet again, 1.5 chapters a week is kind of a blessing to most who read fanfiction, especially to those wonderful 65 followers to this one in particular. And in future tense, I will not be updating this note. I originally planned for a JNPR perspective, but I don't want to create unnecessary filler. So ya... I needed to actually show off the minor pairings for this fic. Figured this chapter would be great for one of them. What do you guys think of the chapter or the story so far? If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc. Leave them in the reviews and here's a little bonus Omakemade by myself.

Omake: Road Rage, By Scrambleman17

Alternate Universe, 1:14 PM, Saturday, Dormitory Common

"So... what are we waiting for? Let's hurry and get there." Sun ordered in a rushed tone.

Sun ran out the door... heading to the bullhead...

"Does he know that you have a driver's license?" Blake asked.

"I'll text him. I'll put the Box in the trunk. And I'll have bumblebee parked in the garage with the dolly." Yang stated.

"You hang your motorcycle on your car?" Blake asked.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"How would you?"

"Modern technology. The things gravity dust can do. I can't imagine a world where we can simply make the weight of certain things disappear when we need it."

"Oookay..."

"You're sitting in the backseat."

Very well...

The two of them went into Yang's car, which she punfully named 'Beehive'. With the dolly at the garage, next to Yang's motorcycle, Bumblebee. Sun eventually came down to the car. And Yang started the engine... she passed the driver's exam with top colors, so there wouldn't be anything bad happening whatsoever.

Alternate Universe, 2:44 PM, Saturday, Vale traffic

This has to be the worst time for a traffic jam... there is literally cars covered across the entire half of the road... and Yang doesn't look very happy right now... with her eyes glowing red.

"I swear these people don't know how to drive." Yang said, quickly with an angry tone.

"Yang, calm down!" Blake said, not knowing the unbridled anger of road rage.

"DO NOT TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! TELL GRANDMA OVER THERE TO MOVE THE BLASTED CAR!" Yang yelled.

"THE LIGHT IS GREEN! MOVE ALREADY!" Yang yelled again.

Sun remains silent, out of fear of Yang's anger. In fact, her road rage rivals Yang's anger compared to what happens when someone is dumb enough to try and cut half of her hair off. So... thank goodness she does not have Ember Celicia with her.

"OH, NOW YOU MOVE!" Yang yelled, pushing the gas until it stops again!

"OH MY GOD! THIS IS STUPID!" Yang yelled again.

The rest of the car is scared out of fear that she may snap someone's neck. Even Ruby, who's in the trunk.

Eventually, after half an hour, Yang is finally at the front of the traffic... to reveal that the light turns red.

"AH COME ON!" she yells.

"HEY BLONDIE! DRIVE FASTER!" the driver behind her yelled. Yang responded by flipping the driver off.

"OH, HOW REAL MATURE!" the driver behind her yelled, taunting Yang.

"YOU DON'T WANT TO GET ME MORE ANGRY THAN I ALREADY AM! I WILL PUNCH YOUR LUNGS OUT!" Yang threatened.

Blake poked her head out nodding her head and waving her hands, warning the driver to step back. in which the driver got the message and stepped back.

Yang went to focus on the road now... being blocked by the crossing pedestrian. specifically just one. There is an elderly woman crossing the street. And she is moving slow. And Yang is getting impatient. Like, there is no words to describe the impatience and anger bottled up inside Yang waiting to erupt and blow the entire car up.

The entire car was silent... and an entire hour passed when the old lady had crossed... only for another old lady to start crossing the road. Yang erupted into a beam of burning anger. Thankfully Beehive is insulated so the car doesn't blow itself up. She did not care and went to push the gas. And the red-light camera took the picture of Yang and there will be a fine sent to the headmaster of Beacon academy, with the intent for Yang to pay up.

They did manage to make it to the bowling alley, although later than scheduled.

Yang parked Beehive at the parking lot, and carried the box to the bowling alley and had it placed somewhere discreet inside the building. Pretty much not much would change from on there. Except everything would be later than scheduled.

Omake Footnote: Well, there's that. I thought it'd be funny to do a small road rage Yang skit. Come to think of it, Yang would not be someone you should trust to drive a car with people in it. Well, see ya next chapter.
