Author's Headnote: Welcome back to more time with filler Saturday. We'll be skipping a couple of hours and CPNT vs CRDL because this chapter will be focussing on more exposition! Yes, it is finally that time of the fanfiction where we talk about the Maidens! We'll also be finally discussing what the third-year student and Jaune will be discussing. If you want to, check out my new fanfiction: Ruby the Renegade. So, without further a-do. Let's just jump into the chapter.

Character Change: Ruby Rose - Penny Poledenia
Beacon Academy, 6:00 PM, Saturday, Ozpin's Office
Running Personality: Penny_Poledenia (SOUL file)
Combat Functions: ENABLED
Aura Percentage: 100%
Battery Life: 77%
Hardware status: Fully Functional
Grimm Prescence: 0.
Penny was called at Beacon's Headmaster's office after she had won that fight against team CRDL. Which was an incredible stomp in her favor. She was sitting down. And with her, she sees the combat instructor Glynda Goodwitch, along with an individual with black hair and red eyes, who has a red cloak, and a white jacket. With the rest of the outfit black. This was most likely an associate of his. General Ironwood is also here.
"Now before we begin. I'd like to congratulate you on your recent matchup." Ozpin stated.
"Thank you... y'know... I was thinking about transferring to Beacon anyhow." Penny said.
"and you have the opportunity to do so. But tell me something."
"What is it?"
"Let me finish... what is your favorite fairy tale?"
"Oh... that's an awkward one... If I'm to be honest, I've never heard of any."
"That's surprising. Because I am to tell you one."
"Oh... please tell."
"A long time ago, there was an old wizard, who lived alone, and received no visitors. He never bothered to leave his adobe."
"He sounds lonely."
"He quite is. Then one day four sisters came along. The first sister simply stood under the tree, and gazes into the eye of the wizard."
"Why?"
"Because she was patient, calm, and filled with serenity..."
"What about the other three?"
"I'm getting to that. The second sister was carrying a basket of fruit and seeds. She tended to the man's garden, fixed the exteriors of his adobe, repaired his gates."
"That sounds like a lot of effort."
"That it is, she did it because he wanted the man to be grateful."
"Was he?"
"Yes, he was. Now if you stop interrupting me, miss Poledenia. Anyways... the third sister giggled and convinced the man to walk outside his adobe, and enjoy the outdoors."
Penny nodded.
"Finally, the fourth sister approached the old wizard and asked him who he is. The wizard responded that he's just an old man, that's been alive for centuries, with no one to love. And with realisation. The old man had been grateful to the four sisters. And as a reward, he had given them the gift of magic. The power to grow plants, start fires, start storms, and freeze water were at their beckon, he had given them these powers so that they would help others just like they helped him." Ozpin told.
"Wait, I have a question? Which ones have which powers?" Penny asked.
"Yes."
"Wait, all of them could do all of that you said?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"The Wizard just thought it would be a good idea to give four young women the abilities of magic. These were to be the four maidens of the seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall."
"Ooooh. And why are you telling me this?"
"Because, these maidens are real."
"So... they can use magic, without dust?"
"Precisely."
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because we've elected you to be the next candidate for the Fall Maiden. If you accept, you will be transferred here automatically, and exempt from the huntsman team clause. Because you will be working by your lonesome."
"Why?"
"The maiden's powers, along with your own arsenal is a powerful combination. In addition, you cannot let anyone know about this."
"So... where is the fall maiden?"
"Follow me to the elevator." Ozpin said, heading to the elevator.
Everyone else in the room, minus Penny went to the elevator, but Penny quickly catched up because she was wondering how many people will be heading there.
As soon as everyone was in the elevator, a pin-code combination was opened and a hidden button was revealed, it was pressed. The other elevator buttons locked out as the elevator moved down...
Beacon Vault, 6:10 PM, Saturday, Beacon Vault
The elevator opened and revealed a green hallway, with green walls and stuff... there was a lot of green. She looked down and noticed the way down is long. Across the hall is a closed door. Everyone was walking down them... Penny figured she may as well start conversation with the guy in the red, tattered cape.
"I haven't gotten your name, by the way, what is it?" Penny asked.
"It's Qrow. I know you're going through a lot, believe me, I was dumbfounded when I found out." Qrow stated.
By the time they showed up, the door opened, revealing two chambers, one occupied by a young woman, the other empty, the two of them are connected by tubes. The two of them are also connected by some sort of computer. It looked familiar, like the device she first had woken up to the world in.
"Is that...?" Penny asked, before being interrupted.
"Yes, that is the fall Maiden, amber." Ozpin stated.
"What happened to her?"
"She was attacked, the maidens are typically kept secret to avoid those of high ambition from stealing them. Thankfully, I've intervened before her assailant stole all of her power." Qrow said.
"Who attacked her?"
"Couldn't get a face, but all I know is that she's a woman."
"That's very vague."
"Well, I had to save the maiden's life. She's kept here so that she won't find her, along with finding a stable candidate to transfer her power."
"This place is not known by the public; it is only accessed by a pass way or combination known by me and the other headmasters." Ozpin said.
"Does every school have a vault like this?" Penny asked.
"That is not important, the important thing is, her condition is a unique one... normally, the power would go to either the last young woman in her thoughts, or some random girl. If she dies, the powers may seek after it's second half..." Qrow said.
"Her assailant?" Penny asked.
"Precisely."
"Before you make your decision, you need to know something..." General Ironwood stated.
"Is the assailant a vampire?" Penny asked.
"How do you kno-" Qrow asked.
"I told her beforehand." General Ironwood interrupted.
"James, I get that you don't like vampires... but why did you tell her?" Ozpin asked.
"Penny is good with secrets." General Ironwood said.
"To answer Penny's question. Two things about vampirism. One, the Maiden's power cannot be transferred to a vampire without direct contact... the assailant did use direct contact, sure. But the assailant used something in her arm, not her teeth." Qrow said.
"And the other?" Penny asked.
"A Maiden cannot be turned into a vampire. There's some weird science involved. But any attempt to turn a maiden, gets quashed out by her magic." Qrow said, taking a sip from his flask.
"Could a Maiden cure vampirism?" Penny asked.
"A Maiden's power can remove the grimm successfully to anyone who's been a vampire for less than twenty-four hours. But, any attempt to remove the grimm from any other vampire would outright kill them in the process. Since the grimm inside a vampire is unique being that it's binded to the soul." Ozpin stated.
"So... if a vampire were to steal a maiden's powers... could they theoretically cure themselves of it?" Penny asked.
"I would not know, because a vampire has yet to steal a full maiden's power."
"So..., they've tried."
"Several times. The most common target is the Spring Maiden. The most they got is around 1/3 of a Maiden's power. But I can assure you, none of those maiden drinkers are alive today."
"Maiden drinkers?"
"It's a name given to vampires who covet the Maiden's powers." Qrow said.
"You two seem to know a lot about vampires." Penny stated.
"We're not here to talk about vampires! We're here to discuss the maiden." General Ironwood interupted, getting the conversation back on track.
"Ah yes. Like General Ironwood said, there is something you need to know. There is a science behind aura. This device was made by Atlassian Scientists as an aura transfer device." Ozpin said.
"I've seen one of these before." Penny said.
"Have you? Do you know what it does?" Ozpin asked.
"I don't think so?"
"As I've said, it transfers aura from one person to another. The process is typically designed to transfer a small amount, mostly used to tend to dying children. This one is built different."
"What do you mean?"
"The maiden's powers are bound to their aura, meaning the only way to transfer a maiden's powers artificially is by transferring their entire aura into the candidate. This of course, would kill the current fall maiden, and leave her a soulless husk."
"So... is she...?"
"Doomed to die, yes. According to the statistics from the computer, she is expected to pass away by Monday. You have until the end of the Vytal tournament to make your decision."
"I see... and if I accept..."
"Your personality may be altered permanently. You may end up becoming a different person in the process. This is a tough decision, but know that you have twenty four hours to make your decision."
"I understand."
"You may go now. Let me put down my contact on your scroll."
"Oh, I don't have a scroll."
"You don't... have a scroll..."
"nope."
"Well... come find me when you are ready." Ozpin said.
The group than left the vault...
Character Change: Penny Poledenia - Ruby Rose
Vale Outskirts, 8:07 PM, Saturday, Forever Fall
Ruby headed towards Blake to the spot she asked Blake out to the dance. She knows because she punched a tree before she asked Blake out. The red leaves were dropping all over the place.
Ruby had sat down on to one of the stumps... Blake sat next to her. Ruby took off her bandana and put it in her pocket. She than looked next to Blake and gave her a quick smooch.
"Here we are, our spot." Ruby said.
"Ruby, we've only been dating for two months." Blake objected.
"But still. It's where I asked you out to the dance. Where we went to the dance, I had my costume makeup on... I felt like a... normal, living, breathing, girl that night. And I have you to thank for that."
"I still remember that time you hit on me as a bird."
"Ya... sorry for having you spill out all of your information about your past."
"It's alright, it felt good to let out about Adam."
"Hey. Do you want to lie down on the ground?"
"Okay, sure."
Ruby and Blake lied down on the ground, which was covered by the red leaves. Ruby and Blake were only a couple feet away from eachother. Ruby sighed and gazed at the night sky. She than turned toward Blake.
"Hey. Do you want to take off your bow?" Ruby asked.
"What if someone sees us?" Blake asked.
"I have my bandana down; and I'm not worried about someone walking me showing my lips out. And my fangs."
"Well... you already know about my ears so it wouldn't hurt." Blake said, taking off her bow and putting it in her pocket. Revealing her cute little cat ears.
"Your ears look kind of cute on you." Ruby said.
"Ohh... uhh... thank you." Blake said, blushing.
"Can I touch them?"
"Are you seriously asking to touch my ears?"
"Come on... they're so cute, I just wanna pet them."
"Ruby... please... I am not a house cat."
"I'll let you touch anywhere else on my body to make up for it."
"Alright fine... only because you're my girlfriend."
Ruby than reached over with her right hand to pet one of Blake's cat ears. She can immediately notice that they were sensitive to her since her first reaction was a bunch of giggles. However, she did not appear to mind after the first few seconds... Blake than turned toward Ruby... although Ruby had to re-position her arm and hand to get towards Blake's ear again. Blake than reached out for her... ear, Ruby could feel her ear being caressed by Blake's hand.
It is quite sweet that Blake went after the ear... which is indeed sensitive, but not enough to get a reaction from Ruby. She was however, smiling. The sensation of romantic ear-petting... well, mutual ear carressing. Ruby than moved from the cat ears to the human ears. Figured they deserve some love...
"Had enough with the cat ears?" Blake asked.
"Nah, I just want to give your human ears some love." Ruby said.
"Aww... Ruby... you're so sweet."
"That I am..."
Ruby and Blake continued to pet eachothers ears... Ruby alternating between the human and cat ears for Blake. Eventually, Ruby decided to get on top of Blake, moving her entire body on top of her. They were now facing eachother...
"Oh... Ruby..." Blake said... blushing.
"Hey... figured I could save the both of us effort eaching our ears." Ruby said flirtiously.
"Can you move your legs off of me?"
"Okay, sure." Ruby said, moving her legs off of Blake. The two of them went to petting each other's ears... with some kisses in between them.
"We're all alone... do you think you wanna... y'know...?" Blake offered.
"I still want to mee your parents before we do that. I don't want things to be awkward when meeting them." Ruby stated.
"I haven't seen my parents since I was twelve. Ran away to join the White Fang, remember?"
"Oh ya... well they'll be more than happy to see you again."
"You really think that?"
"What kind of parents would hate their child for running away?"
"You know what? You're right. Maybe we'll stop to visit Menagerie after we finish up our first year... so... do you still wanna..."
"Blake!"
"Come on, I'm teasing you. You don't have to if you don't want to."
"Now I want to..."
"Then what are we waiting for?"
Character Change: Ruby Rose - Jaune Arc
Beacon Academy, 9:00 PM, Saturday, Dormitory Basement.
Jaune arrived at the basement, where he would meet the third year, Violet Jasper about exchanging notes. Not sure what Jaune has to exchange, other than concluding the perp is not a faunas...
Violet was already there. He was sitting on a folded chair... looking at the book cover of a book. After he saw Jaune, he got up.
"Was that chair clean?" Jaune asked.
"Yes. I brought it here." Violet stated.
"So... what's that book you got there?"
"See for yourself..." Violet said, handing Jaune the book. The cover on it says: 'Vampirica Encyclopedia: Volume 3'.
Jaune opens the book... and sees that all the pages are blank.
"They're... blank?" Jaune asked.
"The words are encrypted. These books have an encryption on them. You need to read the previous volumes before seeing it's contents." Violet stated.
"So... where are they?"
"I have no idea. I found out simply by searching information on them. Volume 1 is the most common, but each succeeding volume is much more rare."
"So... this is Volume 3?"
"Yep. Collectors would pay Lien in the millions to have that book. Even if it is used, not that it could get damaged anyway."
"What kind of collector would buy an empty book?"
"Not empty. Magically encrypted."
"Riiiight... I'm just gonna..." Jaune said, getting a pencil and do a scribble on it... the scribbles on the book vanishes.
Wait, what the heck?
"Protects against vandalism too. These books contents also appear to update whenever there's new information on the topic."
"So... these books have a spoiler-proof blocker on them, in addition they automatically Retcon themselves?"
"It's an encyclopedia."
"What does this book have to do with the blackout?"
"Everything. From the contents, it holds information on lore of vampires."
"Vampires? Vampires aren't real, Violet."
"That's the thing, Jaune. They are very real, in fact... there's a vampire attending Beacon Academy right now."
"Wait, you don't mean Ruby?"
"Yes, I do... not to fear, according to sources, she was turned into one AFTER the blackout."
"Oh..."
"No Surprise or shock or anything? You seem to be taking this information very well."
"Nope. Nora wouldn't shut up about vampires so any interest in the topic is just nonexistent for me."
"Well than..."
"Wait. Where were you in the blackout anyhow?"
"I was doing a mission directly from the headmaster, I was nowhere near Beacon when it happened."
"What was the mission?"
"Data retrieval. Something about the vampires outside of Vale. So far, their activities remain normal."
"Can I ask you another question?"
"What is it?"
"What happened to the other students in your class?"
"The bullheads containing most of the Beacon students had a loose nut on each of them, causing the bullhead to crash down. There were no reported survivors, no bodies found either."
"That is weird."
"I've been investigating it myself. My trail leads back to these vampires. Considering the signs that have occurred to the thirty ninth Vytal tournament are also happening here."
"What do you mean?"
"There was also a Blackout in Haven Academy, and their national holiday was attacked. Sure, there was no incident in the tournament itself, but after all the students left... the only casualties are among Beacon students. However, I do believe this is merely a coincidence."
"A coincidence?"
"The incidents in Mistral were both connected to a powerful criminal organization, the Moon Dragon Yakuza. They are led by Beulleodeu Grendigon. This said individual has led the moon dragon for over fourty years, despite this... Moon Dragon had remained organized for quite some time."
"So... you're saying that a Mistralian Crime family caused all of your classmates to go missing?"
"That is the case... however, the Mistrallian police are so corrupt, they may as well be paid to eat donuts. So, I can't rely on them to save my classmates."
"What about the blackout here..."
"Ah yes... do you think the White Fang or Roman Torchwick has any connection to the Blackout at Beacon?"
"No... according to Blake, the White Fang have no connection to the Blackout."
"That was a Rhetorical question. I looked over the White Fang's files myself. They never organized to steal Beacon's dust capacitor. Yet, they did cause an incident in Pyrefest. Seems that the White Fang aren't led by a vampire faction, but has a different motive for the Vytal tournament."
"Who do you think is responsible for the Beacon Blackout?"
"Well... it is most definitely caused by the vampire faction... problem is... vampire activity has dropped to non-existent since Pyrefest. Well, outside the isolated report from last night, that a Nostferatu attacked a bunch of sewer works."
"Wait, you're telling me that these nostferatu attacks were actually vampires feeding on their victims?"
"When they have more control, it's less... gory."
"Control?"
"Calling the vampires grimm is not an innacurate statement. However, the grimm inside a vampire are... different."
Jaune stepped back in shock. "Wait, now you're saying Ruby's a SENTIENT GRIMM!?" He yelled.
"Calm yourself, and keep it down. We don't want people to hear this." Violet stated.
"Why not?" Jaune asked.
"You very well don't want to ruin your friend's life. She'll be more ostracized than a faunas."
"Now about the blackout..."
"There is evidence of vampirism involved. However, the perp is not a vampire themselves... the dust capacitor has greenhouse lights around it, keeping a vampire from taking it."
"How would you know that?"
"The day after the blackout. When the police chief was interrogating every single student, and you eavesdropping on them... I was busy investigating the scene of the crime with some forensic scientists. No fingerprints or blood samples... the perfect crime."
"Sounds like someone who knows what they're doing..."
"Or given orders from someone who has... chances are, given the lack of vampires... the perp likely forgotten that they even done it in the first place."
"What makes you say that?"
"Thralls. Something a sired vampire, pureblood, or a disciple is capable of doing. Although given the complexity of the task. The vampire is most likely an old one."
"Wait, slow down... sired vampire? Pureblood? Disciple?"
"And this is the part where I have to explain things. From my studies there's five types of vampires: Sired, Stray, Pureblood, Halfblood, and Latentblood."
"What's a sired vampire?"
"The most common, these were vampires that became one through the vampiric turning ritual. Your friend Ruby is one of these."
"What makes you think that?"
"I can tell. She wasn't a vampire when she attended Beacon. And she has expressed usage of vampiric abilities."
"Uh huh..."
"Strays are ones turned simply by a vampire drinking more blood from someone than they should. Thankfully, the process is slow enough so it can be averted through vommitting. The vampiric transmitted disease voidgrimm also shares the same symptoms as stray transformation, and can be treated the same way."
"So... what's the difference?"
"Voidgrimm is when a fledgling goes over, stray transformation is when an older vampire overfeeds."
"Uh huh..."
"Now, Purebloods are different. They're born into vampirism. The difference here is that they can age... just real... real... slow. In addition, their weakness to sunlight is twice as harmful to them. The tradeoff is that Purebloods tend to be more powerful than the average sired vampire. They also don't need to drink blood."
"Weakness to sunlight?"
"You ever wonder why Ruby tends to avoid contact with the sun?"
"Makes sense..."
"In addition, the eyes of a pureblood are also more sensitive to light, much like their halfblood counterparts."
"Let me guess... only one of their parents are vampires?"
"Specifically, the father. Halfbloods, unlike the previous I've mentioned do not have any grimm presence because of the mother's immune system stamping it out during the womb. The halfblood does age faster than the pureblood, but slower than the mortal. They can choose to eat food instead of drinking blood, but they mostly prefer the latter. They basically have the innate abilities of the vampire, without all the grimm powers and magic. Minus the nightvision, of course. However, unlike purebloods, they can adapt their eyes to be more accustomed to the light. A halfblood father and mortal mother or a vampire father with a halfblood mother will also be a halfblood. A halfbloods organs are a lot more durable than a mortals. This because a full-vampire's organs are mostly withered."
"I didn't pay attention to most of that. But, you seem to know a lot more about halfbloods than other kinds of vampires."
"I've personally talked to one. His niece goes to Beacon. Don't worry, she's a latent."
"Now what's a latent?"
"From a mortal father and a vampire mother... or halfblood mother. The term latent is inaccurate, as they're more so they're vestigial vampires. The presence of vampiric descendance is there, but they're no different from mortals other than that. A latent can drink blood and be nourished from it just like a vampire, and their organs are a lot tougher, similar to halfbloods. But they lack any of the other buffs or de-buffs that a vampire would have."
"So... latents are basically like you and me, but they have the ability to drink blood and have strong livers?"
"Basically."
"Now you've said something about disciples?"
"Ah yes... the disciples... the oldest vampires on remnant. I do not know much about them, other than there are four of them, and that they're extremely powerful. I would need to find the previous two volumes of the encyclopedia to know more about them."
"How did you find out about the information about these vampires without access to the encyclopedia's contents."
"Like I said, I've personally talked to a halfblood. I will not reveal the identity of the halfblood for his sake. By now the Encyclopedia's absorbing my knowledge on the subject and updating their information on it."
"How would you know that?"
"I've gathered information on the books themselves, remember?"
"Now about the blackout... why did the police stop investigating?"
"Oh... that. The police here are lazy, after we came back from Mountain Glenn, a Private Investigator under the name: "Herlock Sholmes" took the case... and every other unsolved case, except ones involving the disappearances of huntresses. I suspect that this Herlock Sholmes may have bigger plans."
"I See..."
"Give me your scroll number, I'll be able to contact at any point and update. I'll be sending exclusively texts. So, check your messages."
"Okay... here you go." Jaune said, showing Violet his scroll number.
Violet than got a piece of paper and wrote it down. Along with adding it onto his scroll himself.
"What's the paper for?" Jaune asked.
"That's my contact list. Incase I have to get a new scroll." Violet said.
"Can't you just transfer the data onto your new scroll?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"If I have to get a new one, it means my scroll is most likely damaged to an irreparable or unrecoverable state."
"So... now what?"
"We leave. If anyone asks, deny everything." Violet said, bringing his folding chair with him up the stairs.
Jaune sighed and went back to the dorm... guess Nora was right about the vampire thing... although unlike Blake's thing, Jaune really can't tell Nora about Ruby. Co-incidentally, Nora was also right about Blake being a faunas. Nora's a bit weird at times... he actually had to look up what sound a sloth made just to end a debate. But no matter, he got the information, now he just needs to find the rest of the puzzle.
Character Change: Jaune Arc - Ruby Rose
Beacon Academy, 10:12 PM, Saturday, RWBY Dormitory
Ruby and Blake went up to their dorm... although their hair is quite in a messy condition... and there's a faint smell of coming off of them. However, a quick shower would resolve the smell issue. As for what they've did... what two individuals do by themselves is none of anyone's concern. Don't worry, they put their bandana and bow back on.
First thing they've done is took a shower. After the shower is done, the two of them simply put on some underwear, along with their affiliated bandana and bow and entered the double bed together. Both were under the sheets, with Blake holding onto Ruby.
"Did you enjoy today?" Ruby asked.
"That, I did." Blake said.
"It's best you head to sleep now. You've got a big day tommorow and a tournament to win."
"You really think I can take on Pyrrha Nikos?"
"Her semblance is polarity. She told me this back at the field trip to gather tree sap for Professor Peach."
"That... actually explains a lot. Well, thanks for the tip."
"No problem. You can go to sleep, now. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye out."
Blake closed her eyes, after a couple of minutes she fell asleep. It is at this point Ruby started to pet her hair. She could hear Blake purr as Ruby was doing it.
Will Yang be happy with the couple once she learns about Ruby and Blake's couple? Most likely not. But is it worth it? Most definitely.
Author's Footnote: You were expecting a sex scene, weren't you? Well, sorry to disapoint, I don't write smut. But you can at least be relieved with the knowledge that they did the dirty. As for the rest of this chapter. Exposition and talking people, exposition and talking. Figured I'd make the filler before I begin the big sad a bit productive. That's right, the singles will be starting next chapter, and you know as much as I do what will be happening soon! The question is, do you know what will be the ending outcome? Don't be shy, leave some feedback. I won't get mad. Also, make sure to check out my other fanfiction: Ruby the Renegade, the story where Ruby is just a jerk to everyone. Yep, that's it. So, here's the SSSN Interview
Vytal Tournament Interviews: Team SSSN
Interview, Sun Wukong
"Excuse me, has anyone seen a mister: Sun Wukong?" Lisa asked.
"You're looking at him." Sun responded.
"My apologies. But obviously you cannot be the huntsman I am looking for."
"No, really. Look up 'Sun Wukong' on infopedia, you'll see my face on that page.
"There isn't a page for that individual..."
"Okay... I must have really overestimated my fame than..."
"You mean Sun Wukong's fame?"
"Yes, that's me."
"I really don't think you're the one I'm looking for..."
"See? Look at my ID. What does it say on the name?"
"Sun Wukong."
"And the image on the ID, does it match my face?"
"Yes."
"And here we see the Haven Academy stamp."
"That's correct."
"So that means I am a huntsman by the name of Sun Wukong."
"That makes sense."
"So, I'm the student huntsman you are looking for!"
"No, you're not!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! That's it, I can't deal with this! I'm going back to the fairgrounds!" Sun said, leaving.
"Wonder what he's so worked up about?" The cameraman asked.
"Some people are just weird like that." Lisa stated.
Interview, Scarlet David (I had to honestly look up the team order)
"Lisa Lavender here... Live at the Vale Dockyards where we meet aspiring huntsman, Scarlet David. I honestly could not find his team leader. So I'm doing him first, do we have anything to say before we begin?" Lisa asked, holding the Microphone to Scarlet.
"Pretty sure Sun was around here..." Scarlet said.
"So... tell me, why did you become a huntsman?"
"It's a complicated story. You see, I was literally born at sea by my mother... who died giving birth to me..."
"What's your mother's name?"
"David."
"Isn't David a Boy's name?"
"If I had a single Lien for every single time that I've been asked that question, I would have 10,406 Lien."
"That's pretty accurate."
"I have an incredibly good memory."
"That's impressive."
"Like for one, I could recall every single secret Neptune has told me... from Sun."
"Really? Like what?"
"If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret."
"Fair point."
"And now to answer your question. It's really because I was bored one day."
"You became a huntsman because you were bored?"
"I already had my aura unlocked, and I couldn't come up with anything to do."
"That is... very anticlimatic."
"Not everyone has a really noble reason. This ain't an anime, we're not all noble heroes with special superpowers."
"What is your semblance anyhow?"
"I can temporarily glide."
"That's it?"
"Yep. That's it."
"Well, I'm all out of questions here... so you're free to go."
"Finally." Scarlet said, leaving the area.
"Want to move to the next guy?" The camera man asked.
"Okay. May as well get... Sage Ayana next." Lisa said.
Interview, Sun Wukong (again)
"This is Lisa Lavender, Live at the tournament fairgrounds. Where we see aspiring huntsman, Sage Ayana... holding a giant Pyrrha Nikos plushie. Brought to you by Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Cereal. Do you have anything to say before we begin the interview?" Lisa asked, sharing the microphone with Sage.
"Actually... can I exchange my plushie for another one? I think this one is possessed." Sage said, in fear.
The plush doll does not appear to be possessed, but it is unsettling to look at.
"No, you cannot. Now first question why did you become a huntsman?" Lisa asked.
"Well, you see... back when I was-" Sage said, before being interrupted by Sun.
"Wait, hold on. You still need to interview me!" Sun yelled.
"Sun! She must have already interviewed you if she went onto me!" Sage objected.
"She skipped me because she thought I was a human."
"Is that why you tucked in your monkey tail?"
"No... Yang did that for me..."
Sage than laughed.
"Ah, there you are. We can cover Sage Ayana later, for now we have the leader of team SSSN at our sights, Sun Wukong. Do you have anything to say before we begin?" Lisa asked, holding the Microphone to Sun.
"Nope. Just fire away the questions." Sun stated.
"Very well... why did you become a huntsman?"
"Simple, really. Simply because I can."
"Because you can?"
"I already had the weapons and stuff, that and the tuition needed from my childhood exploits. So, I figured this would be the next chapter of my life."
"What kind of childhood exploits?"
"I have a bounty of 40,000 Lien back in Vacuo."
"The next Vytal tournament takes place there, what do you think on doing?"
"Got two years, I can get the money and pay off my own bounty from there."
"You aren't taking this seriously! You are a wanted man in one of the four kingdoms!"
"There's three other kingdoms, Lisa. I've got my options."
"What do you do with bounty hunters?"
"Ah yes... that question. You see... 40,000 Lien is the same price as a Ping-Ponged table shaped like Menagerie island. I've only gotten one bounty hunter after me within my life. And he had a knife duct-taped to his revolver."
"That's just sad."
"Most people of that profession usually go after targets of a higher pay. Like I said, only wanted in one kingdom. Most of it is petty theft and pickpocket too."
"You are... very open about your criminal past."
"What are you talking about?" Sun said, as he is literally picking Lisa's pocket and taking her money. Followed by putting the wallet back.
"Well, we're out of time. We'll be getting to your teammate Sage Ayana now..." Lisa said.
"Finally..." Sage stated.
"Now, to recite my first question? Why did you become a huntsman?"
"It's a long and complicated story... you see..."
"Camera's full!" The cameraman said.
"AH COME ON!" Sage yelled.
Interview, Neptune Vasillias
"Lisa Lavender here, reporting live from the fairgrounds... again... we had to store the footage and get a new empty slot. We're here with Neptune Vasillias... do you have anything to say before we begin?" Lisa asked.
"Ya, are ya single?" Neptune asked, giving a pickup line.
"This is an interview, not a speed date. Please take this seriously."
"Oh, I am."
"Can we skip this one?"
"We got a lot of hours of our memories being wiped from the CVFY Interview, we can bundle that with this one and that'll fit the slot." The camera man said.
"Okay, that'll do." Lisa said.
Interview Footnote: There's one Interview left before we end this gag. Ya... sorry I can't cover ALL of the canon teams. Just be grateful I didn't introduce OC teams for your sake, and for mine. Ya, I decided to screw over Neptune. But hey, it was honestly in-character for him to flirt with the News reporter. Sorry it's less gaggy than CVFY's interview. But hey, see ya next chapter.
