Chapter 2

Once I entered Cindy's door, I then saw I was in a room that looked like the living room to my house, complete with the fireplace that Cindy loved more than anything. And I also saw her floating above me and looking to be in a trance with multiple Demons of Vanity next to her. And they were singing a creepy song like they did to me earlier.

"~Come little Cindy, burn your fire!

You love the flame, now make a pyre!

Your sister is here, won't you say hi!

As a dragon of flame, take a bite!~" the demons sung creepily before a big freaky light show happened to her... and when the light died down, I gawked at how she turned into the monster that was on the door!

"Cindy! Snap out of it!" I shouted, her then puffing smoke when she saw me and then proceeding to try and breathe fire at me, which I had to dodge out of the way of!

"Come here, Linda! I want some roasted sister! HAHA!" Cindy shouted in a completely distorted voice! She was completely overtaken by the Demons!

"Linda, get into a position close to her and I'll attack her," Scarfy said, me gasping at that.

"What?! I-I don't want to hurt her!" I said in fear.

"It's the only way to free her from her current state!" Scarfy said, me gulping at him, knowing I had no choice, especially when Cindy tried to burn me again and I then got closer for Scarfy to do his magic. And when he did, I was shocked at how he managed to stretch Cindy's face in order to harm her! And when he did so, I saw that Cindy looked in pain, me then continuing to do this with Scarfy as she flew into the air by making her pigtails act like rockets. And when he managed to stretch her ass, she shouted in anger.

"AUGH! That does it! I'm eating you RAAWWGH!" Cindy shouted before then beginning to open her mouth wide and start inhaling like a vacuum cleaner! I gasped at how she was starting to suck me in! I felt like I'd be swept away any moment, but Scarfy took advantage and stretched Cindy's uvula, which made her shut her mouth and for Cindy to have a big explosion of fire in her own mouth! She got daze in the process, which Scarfy then took the opportunity to rush her and do something shocking. He proceeded to split into three arms and stretch her all over! And while doing so, I saw that there was something thrashing inside of Cindy's skin! After roughly 8 seconds of this, A big explosion happened as a Demon of Vanity exited Cindy's body and Cindy then immediately turned back to normal! And when she did so, she looked to be conscious, but tired.

"L-Linda..." she said wearily as the demon then tried to get to her again, but I saw that it was blocked by a barrier of some sort. "Not on your life... I'm never lighting another match again!" Cindy shouted, the demon then evaporating into ash as Cindy then looked at me with a small, weary smile. "Linda... thank you..." she said as I then went to her and helped her off the ground as a door then appeared for us.

"I'm so glad you're alright, Cindy," I smiled at her as I got a look at her face. Her freckled face was quivering while I saw that her red hair had gotten a bit singed from the explosion. Regardless, she looked at me with a small smile while panting, obviously out of breath.

"Heh... I feel like crap right now... not just for getting beat up by you, but... those things... those little devils... they did horrid things to me... I was completely conscious the whole time. I never wanted to kill anyone, yet it was making me want to eat you... I owe you big time for this," Cindy smiled.

"It's because you were vain and self-centered," Scarfy said, Cindy looking at my scarf in confusion. "That's why Linda was unaffected by the Demons of Vanity. You need to stop relying on those products and yourself and think about others. That was why all the others were corrupted by them, you included."

"I see... so no more matches... no more scented candles... no more beauty products for no reason. Gotcha... I'll help you out any way I can from now on, Linda. It's the least I can do for the misery I caused you," Cindy smiled at me as we then left through the door, and we found ourselves back in the room filled with white and black. "What the... what happened to our entryway?"

"Until all of them are rescued, we can't leave. If we fail, we're stuck here forever," Scarfy said.

"How do you know so much mister uh... Linda's scarf?" Cindy asked him.

"Because I was forged from the demon of vanity that tried to possess Linda. I protected her from harm and absorbed the demon into myself," he said.

"Weird... cool, but weird... do you think I could get something cool? I want to rescue the others, too," Cindy smiled. But it was then that I noticed that she had already gotten something. I saw that her hands were starting to glow an ethereal blue flame.

"You already have something... look at your hands," I said, her then doing so and about to freak out, before she realized something.

"WHA?!... I... My hands are on fire, but they're not hot?! I don't get it!" Cindy gawked.

"You can use those flames to assist in rescuing the other sisters. Once you've been purified of the demon possessing you, you'll gain the trait that you used to cherish. But once we leave, you'll lose it," Scarfy explained.

"Good. I don't want to be stuck with this forever. I don't want to burn anyone accidentally," Cindy said as she then accidentally touched me. And I was surprised at how I felt no pain at all. "Uh... okay, that's weird..."

"I think it's kind of like that Ponyta episode on Pokemon. You can't burn anyone you don't want to," I smiled.

"Huh, that's handy!" she smiled.

"Bad joke," I said, her then smirking and giggling at me saying that. "So, who do we saved next?" I asked as I looked at the other three doors along with Cindy.

"How about Spinelli? She's the orneriest of us and I think we should get the tougher ones out of the way," Cindy decided for me. She had a point.

"Not only that, but I could tell that she was one of three that were trying to fight the hypnosis thing. The others were Sammy and Anne," I said.

"Really? Hopefully we can get it through to them before they turn nasty!" Cindy said with concern as Scarfy then opened the door and we went through it. We had to rescue Spinelli from her current state. And I had to hope it wasn't too late.
