A/N: Although Sadie annoys me to no end, everybody has feelings, right? So I felt the need to do her some justice with this li'l fic. Review? Thanks. :)

Summary: She's not an idiot. She notices the looks they exchange, the veiled comments, the supposedly innocent touches. Yet, she continues to sit idly by and watch the little show they're so content with putting on. Sadiecentric. Oneshot.

Rejected

- - -

When they first kiss, it all seems so perfect. So simple. But it was only a matter of time until she would get in the way.

He comes to Italy with her, and it's beyond anything she could ever imagine. She can't believe how well they're clicking. But once they get home, reality sets in. He's detached and bored, and she's lonely.

He goes to her sister for comfort. He thinks she's clueless. He's wrong.

She's not an idiot. She notices the looks they exchange, the veiled comments, the supposedly innocent touches. Yet, she continues to sit idly by and watch the little show they're so content with putting on.

She has hope. She thinks maybe if she says or does the right thing, he'll come around. He'll stop looking at her like she's the last woman on earth.

She tries to convince herself that she's just paranoid. It doesn't really work.

She feels betrayed. This is her sister, her own flesh and blood, who continues to make eyes at her boyfriend. She's not even sure if she's doing it on purpose, but it still hurts.

She feels rejected. He gives up on her once he finds something better.

She notices that as time goes by, their romance is pushed to the back burner; not completely forgotten, just put on hold. She starts dating Jamie; after that, Spiederman. But nothing's changing all that much.

His former wife tries to tell her. She pegs her as a bitter ex; someone who went through so many bad things with him that she's willing to do anything to help someone escape a similar fate.

She thinks she might love him. She knows the feeling isn't reciprocated. She knows they aren't right, but she wants them to be. So, so badly.

She realizes that she's envied by a good many of BoyzAttack fans who would do just about anything to get their hands on him. She also realizes that she used to be one of them. He's a poster on her wall; an unreachable goal. But there he is. He's real and so close that she cantouch him, but it's not the same as it was in the beginning. When she actually meant something to him.

He avoids her as often as possible, and it's a different excuse every time. He apologizes, but she knows he doesn't really care.

Now they're breaking up at least twice a week, and there's nothing but insecurities, mistrust, and jealousy between them.

He's hardly ever around anymore, and she starts to become suspicious of his whereabouts. One night, he stumbles into her house drunk, offering only a pathetic apology and a heartrending confession. She finds girls' phone numbers in his jacket pocket.

When she finally does catch him in the act, it's over. And she doesn't miss him.

Because you can't miss something that you never had in the first place.
