Love Is Green And Red
"So when are you going to marry Ginny?" Coughing promptly ensued this statement and it was obvious that the person to whom this question was directed at was caught completely by surprise.
"Umm…"
"Yeah," George joined in. "You've been hanging around her long enough! It's time you do something about it. Why -"
Ron suddenly cut in, "Don't encourage Ferret-face -" but he was interrupted by his mother. "Ronald Weasley! Don't you dare say one more word. If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." With that, there was silence for a while; only the sound of knives and forks could be heard while everyone was eating their dinner.
Holding his son for the first time, Draco could not describe what he was feeling. It was a mixture of pride, love and so much more. Walking into the living room to show the rest of his family the wonderful son Ginny had just given birth to, he couldn't help but smile. Everyone started gathering around and cooing at the little boy.
Ron was trying to act as if he wasn't interested but was soon caught up in the whirlwind of happiness around him and came to see his nephew.
"He looks just like you!" He exclaimed. With that, Draco grinned at him, "I know, that's why I bought him."
It was a relatively peaceful morning. Draco, Ginny and Brighton, their four-year old son was sitting at the table eating breakfast.
"Mommy," Brighton began, "Can I ask you a question?"
"Yes, of course."
"When you get older, can you choose if you want to be the mommy or the daddy?"
Brighton came running in from playing outside.
"Daddy! Daddy! I know what I want to be when I grow up!" He exclaimed with joy. Draco looked up from his desk and looked at his son. He was busy with work.
"I want to be a pony!"
