The Great Warrior Queen of Tamaran

Three years since Starfire left Jump city, Robin wonders if she'll ever return. What he doesn't know is, that the boat that took Starfire to Gotham, sunk on it's way there. Star was gonna get help from Batman! Don't know where the village stuff came from.

Alas my love, we are falling.

Whence I came upon you,

You were but a child, balling.

When you saw me, looking up, you seemed to calm.

Now we are lost,

Amongst woods unknown,

But every time I look in your eyes,

The cost of death seems too great to pay

So allow me this,

To calm the raging within my soul

Just this one kiss,

They say love heals all.

We have come upon a village now,

It is without life and love,

They have a harbor, full of boats

I can see you at the bow.

That village is like a sword,

Slicing through my heart

With no love, no life

No happiness aboard

Dim and dank was the sky

That eve I saw your face,

Once again shining with tears

You told me, you were leaving, escaping this place.

I begged you not to leave,

As I thought, we had both found love.

But now the waves crash against the shore,

And with sullen eyes, I watched you go.

"I will come back" You called to me,

"I promise I will" Three years have past now,

I watch the sea,

Each day, hoping I'll see a boat or ship

As I wait, I wonder

How did this happen to me?

I suppose they should call me Boy Blunder,

For I have failed everyone.

Stars they shine down,

Awaiting my acknowledgement

The generations of past and present,

Seem to skitter through this town.

I wonder if you remember,

What you said to me that fateful eve,

When you left for your home planet.
