Shota and Himitsu stared at Recovery girl, their attention solely fixed upon the medical practitioner as if their lives depended on it.
"what? I don't know anything else!!!, hmph, I suspect your having a subtle influence on her! I mean look at her expression! It's practically a copy of yours!" Recovery girl smacked the man before proceeding to squish the young girls face until it was no longer had a resemblance of her fathers.
"that's not my fault, well actually it is, she's half me remember" Shota rubbed his head before taking glancing down at his daughter. She looked like she would rather be elsewhere, not getting harassed by an elderly woman.
"well anyways, just make sure you continue to feed her properly, her quirk will manifest soon"
"yes ma'am" The pair rose up, almost at the exact same time which elicited another slap from the doctor. "Hey!"
"stop influencing her so much!!!!"
"I can't help it! It's either me or the cats! And they have already rubbed off on her! See look at her" The adults both turned to look at Himitsu who had begun subconsciously cleaning her self by licking the back of her hand and washing her face.
"dear god Shota! Why I..." Recovery girl never got out that last bit as only a small cloud of dust remained of the two. The man had decided to book it down the halls before he got smacked again, a confused Himitsu in his arms.
"well looks like her and dad don't get along as much, maybe that will change with time?"
the child shrugged to herself as she was fastened into her seat. Their sudden departure didn't bother her that much, after all she now knew that their home was on school grounds. That could possibly explain why she never saw anyone else.
"Sorry about that Himi, didn't expect the old lady to be that not picky, you seem perfect to me ok?" Shota looked back and gave his daughter a thumbs up before pulling out of the parking lot.
there was a lot on his mind, and not all of it had to do with the impending quirk activation.
"how are these rumors starting? Who's starting them to be exact. Only myself, Emi and Nezu knew about Himitsus existence before today. Somethings going on and I need to get to the bottom of it"
As the Aizawas left the school, a certain rat god looked on from up high and chuckled while drinking his tea.
"oh don't worry young Shota, I will make her my prodigy, im just laying down the groundwork for her debut" Nezu turned his head towards the computer that sat open on his desk. On the screen in bold letters were two words.
"Project Hecate"
whatever this means you and I don't have any idea whatsoever, ok readers? Oop... 4th wall I forgot... let me just... Ah there we go...
It didn't take long before the Aizawas were home, there one story house in the middle of nowhere. About thirty cats greeted them at the door, twice that number were lazing about or eating food.
"alright, remember Himitsu, no licking yourself, your a human not a cat got it?" Shota nodded to his daughter before wading through the sea of felines who eagerly rubbed up against his daughters legs.
"damn there's a lot of them, might be time to begin getting rid of a few... except she would notice if a single cat was missing... damn"
the problem with the rising number of cats in the household was there weren't nearly enough sleeping spaces to accommodate all of them. Thankfully they seemed to be fine with the outdoors, that made litter boxes almost non essential. Food prices however were still a stickler but something Shota had to deal with for the happiness of his daughter.
just watching her smiling among the waves of fur was enough to make him forget all of his previous grudges against the vast number of felines. Instead it warmed his heart and gave him many opportunities to snap photos.
something strange before to happen.
there was a faint sound of something crackling.
both Shota and Himitsu searched for the sound before focusing on her hands where bolts of what appeared to be blue energy arched upwards from her palms.
"Himitsu?"
there was a sudden pulse that raised the hair on everyone's heads, and the fur on all the cats. The energy continued to spiral and crackle within her hands before yet another pulse burst into existence.
A bright blue screen popped up in front of the silver haired girl. Her eyes wide and filled with confusion as she read the words that were displayed for her.
"Welcome to My Gacha Academia, press start to continue!"
the quirk has appeared, and the plot thickens, oh the suspense!!!!
(small side note, no I don't get annoyed at reviews but genuinely am thankful for them. Makes me happy and keeps me writing)
anyways, enjoy as chapters continue to be thrown into your face! And happy holidays
