Hey everyone! Welcome back to Flames of a Hero, and just as a warning this chapter might be written at different times so it might seem a little chopped up

Izuku was bursting with joy
He had unlocked One for Alls power, and merged it with his flames
And now he was surrounded by a giant flame inferno that was holding him 15 feet in the air so he could stare directly into the eye of Zero
He did something probably insane, but worth it
"Come at me, bitch!" Izuku yelled before blasting a gargantuan fire blast at the beast with a basic Shaolin kick before following it up with a punch shooting out even more flames
Zero already was struggling to cope with the extreme heat the boy was putting out, and it was only 2 bursts
But it wasn't just going to stand there and take it, not by a long shot
So it cooled down and launched several energy shots at the boy who took them head on with no fear
It had no effect...
'I'm immune!' Izuku screamed in joy in his head but maintaining a serious face on the outside
But then the problem struck. Izuku was overheating, at a lot higher strength then he was used too
If he kept this up, he probably wouldn't make it
So he toned down the flames and started blasting again
This time Zero had a new strategy
Instead of tanking everything, it swerved around every single blast shot, although only barely and went for a melee strike
Izuku yelled "Flame Body!" In defiance and used the extra endurance the ability gave him to simply yank the unavoidable hit
But Izuku was starting to really feel the pain now
He need to rap this up before he got 3rd degree burns
He deactivated Flame Body and started putting all of his power into one huge blast
Zero saw the boy charging up some sort of powerful hit and starting running straight at him in hopes of cancelling the hit
10 steps away...
7 steps away...
5 steps away...
2 steps away...
1 step...
He went for the punch as the boy suddenly launched his attack
BOOM!!!
Izuku was confused
One minute he's about to launch his strongest attack against a 20 foot robot charging at him
The next he's in a place that's just dark everywhere
"Izuku Midoriya... Ninth Wielder of One for All... Wielder of Fire... You have a great purpose... much greater than defeating your nemesis... You must-" A mysterious spoke loudly, booming across the entirety of the darkness Izuku was surrounded by, before being cut off by a quiet mumbling in the distance
"Izu? Wake up... Wake up. Wake up!" The mumbling slowly started getting louder until it was bursting his eardrums and the darkness vanished
Izuku slowly opened his eyes in a place that felt strangely familiar, almost as if he had been here hundreds of times
But he had never been in a hospital bed before, so he must have just made it up
Anyways he woke up to find bandages all over his body and his mother asleep with tear trails all over her face next to him in a chair
"You aren't the smartest kid in the world are you? At least common sense wise. Why on Earth would you use One for All too such a degree in the middle of an exam? And at your first use as well? Your almost died!" An old lady with a walking stick and a doctors coat yelled at him
"Recovery Girl? You know about One for All?" Izuku asked in complete confusion, not even bothering to ask about his injuries
"Of course I do! Someone's got to treat you idiots when you go getting hurt because of that blasted quirk!" She yelled "And do you know how much damage you did to your body? Third degree burns almost everywhere and you almost burnt up more than the highest temperature caused by a human ever! Hell you probably did making all those flames!" She reprimanded him harshly, making sure he understood how badly he could've gotten hurt
"How did I get burnt? I'm fire-proof" Izuku questioned
"You may be fire proof but that's too flames your body is used to, you just went and caused an inferno. It overloaded your body and you got burned" Recovery Girl explained
"Oh okay. Why do you care so much anyways? It's not like we've met before, because I don't know you" Izuku shot back, but Recovery Girl wasn't having none of it
"I care for 2 reasons, number one it's quite literally my job and number 2 if you die with One for All so does One for All and that means there'll be no one left to defeat... him..." Recovery Girl said back, losing confidence throughout the whole sentence until she stopped talking
"Him? Whose him?" Izuku asked fearfully
"Not important" a new voice said, as Yagi entered the conversation
"Yagi? What are you doing here?" Izuku questioned
"I'm here too check in you, you aren't to injured right?"
"No just some burns"
"If third degree burns on all of your skin is 'a few burns' then I'm a 6 feet tall Pink platypus" Recovery Girl Shot at him from her desk
"3rd degree?!" Yagi yelled in surprise
"Alright it's no big deal, I'll be fine" Izuku muttered, although he wasn't even sure if Yagi heard him
"I think you should take a break from your training schedule for a while, let the wounds heal" Yagi told Izuku, although he was probably just going to keep training anyway
"What?! No! I need to gain muscle so I can control One for All!" Izuku shouted in shock
"I understand that, young Midoriya, but you need to rest. Third degree burns are serious, and if you keep training you might just do more damage" Yagi carefully explained to him
"...okay fine"
After a week of resting and letting his burns heal, he finally was free to train again
And he got his letter from U.A...
It had sat on his desk for an hour under his careful gaze, as he tried to read it without opening it
He was terrified he did something dumb and didn't get in, like redacted points for serious injuries or something
"Izuku? Have you opened it yet?" Inko asked quietly from the doorway
"... no" Izuku said in disappointment at his own lack of courage
"It's okay, you can open it tomorrow, now it's time for dinner." Inko told him about to leave
... Until she heard paper being torn
He opened it and out popped a single disk, and out of that popped a hologram version of All Might
"Hello young Midoriya! I Am Here as a hologram! I want to congratulate you on your performance in the entrance exam, and apologise for not staying in contact for I have been very busy preparing for my new job of teaching at U.A!" Mini-Might spoke from the device
"Teaching? Cool" Izuku thought, not really thinking further past that
"I am also here to tell you that you did excellent on both of your exams, acing the written exam prepared by Nezu himself! And in the practical exam you scored an incredible 52 villain points! That alone was enough to get you in top ten in the whole exam, but that was not the only feature of the exam... what kind of hero school would we be if we didn't reward you for helping people! The secret feature was Rescue Points! And I must say Young Midoriya you truly are a true hero as you scored 80 Rescue Points! Meaning you have a grand total of 132 Points!"
"132!?! How!?!" Izuku yelled in shock
"Meaning you got first place in the exam! You even managed to beat my record of 125 points! So I would like to be the one to welcome you, Young Midoriya, to Your Hero Academia!"

First of I'd like to apologise for not updating in like forever I don't really have an excuse
Second I'm gonna say this now so I don't have to later, I gave Izuku 20 extra rescue points than in canon because I find it ridiculous that they hype him up for being heroic and all, but he doesn't bother trying to help people, and only helps one person
