"Wooooooooah… it's so big!"
Kirby was completely dazzled by the castle inspecting the artwork, the furniture, the floor, the everything. He's never seen something this massive before in his life and he was just loving every part of it.
"You've never seen a castle before, Kirby?" Tiff asks, turning around as her brother and Bandana Dee turned to see Kirby looking out the window overseeing the town.
"No… is that where we were?" He asks, pointing at the window. Tuff walked on over, seeing the smoke from the ship Kirby crashed in earlier.
"Yep, that's it, we walked all the way here."
"Woooahh… so cool!"
Tuff grinned, he's seen that sight for so many years that he's grown a bit numb to it. He's met every cappy, poppy bro, chilly, and so on in that town. He never thought about it, but to someone new, this must be amazing to behold.
"Come on you guys, it's best we don't keep the king waiting. Let's keep moving. Kirby you can look at everything later." Bandana dee says, tapping the wood part of his spear on the ground, getting the three's attention. Tiff and Tuff nodded and kept on moving, where Kirby looked in confusion.
"King.. you keep saying king, what's a king?"
The three turned around, looking surprised, before looking at each other before Tiff turned back to Kirby,
"You don't know what a king is? A king is a ruler of a civilization." Tiff explains, Tuff jumping in,
"Yeah! And they're super tough but also nice!"
Kirby seemed enamored by the explanation, "Ohhh ok!" He smiles, hopping towards them, only to bump into a purple snail like creature, falling over onto his rear.
Escargoon turned with a huff, "What is it with you waddle dees tod-" he started, only to look down at Kirby, not expecting to see him.
"What is THAT?" He asked, turning to the trio, Tiff helping Kirby up,
"He was the one who crash landed his ship into the town earlier." Bandana Dee answered, stepping in front of his view, "We're taking him to the king to get him all settled here."
"There's no way his majesty will accept a creature like him!" He loudly responds, much to Bandana Dee's worry and Tiff's annoyance.
"The REAL king, Escargoon." Tiff responds back, Kirby tilting his head in confusion,
"Don't be going around saying stuff like that, he's the army general like he agreed when your failed invasion happened."
"How dare you bring that up- oh it's pointless to argue with dumb children." He says a growl, slithering away from the smaller group.
"Dumb children!? Hey!" Tuff growls as he marches towards Escargoon, only for Tiff to put her arm up.
"Just ignore him, let's just get Kirby to dad, ok?" She says, Tuff giving a sigh and reluctantly agrees with her, continuing to walk down the castle hallways with the group, a rather bothered Bandana Dee following them from behind.
The throne room was rather nicely decorated, tons of red carpet all around with tints of gold fringes all around. Kirby walked down the carpet behind Tiff and Tuff, Bandana Dee soon marching up a bit quicker to the throne itself, looking for the king.
"Um.. your highness! It's me, Bandana Dee with Tiff and Tuff, we have a visitor to Dreamland who.. well, uh, crash landed and is friendly and… uh.."
Bandana Dee couldn't find the king, and turned back to Tiff and Tuff, "Do you guys know where he could be..?"
Tuff sighed, "Daaaaaaad? There's somebody new here in the town!" He called out, much to Bandana Dee's surprise, and to further is surprise, King Ebrum showed up from behind the curtains.
Kirby stepped up between Tiff and Tuff as he looked up at the mustached man. Tilting his head, The King gets down onto a knee.
"I see, what is your name?"
"Kirby!"
"Where do you come from? Are you seeking refuge from another planet?"
"Huh? Ref…u..gee?" Kirby asks, not understanding what he was asking, "I… don't remember where I came from, I've been in the ship for so long…"
Ebrum nods, as he gets up. "I see, you've lost your memory then?" To which Kirby shakes his head to,
"No, I know things, just not why I left or where I left from."
Ebrum put a finger to his chin, thinking it out as Kirby dropped his head down to the carpet.
"I'm sorry… I really don't know… I've been alone for-"
"You don't need to apologize." Ebrum interjects, Kirby looking back up at him,
"I can see you mean no harm, so I'll allow you to stay in the city or wherever you like here on Dreamland, but you must be willing to be a part of it, understood?"
"Part of it?"
"Meaning you help with the town and give back, so it can continue to thrive. Does that make sense, Kirby?"
Kirby took a minute to process what he meant, but he then smiles and nods his head, "Ok! I can do that!" He says, raising a hand up.
"Very good! Now, can I trust you to have Tiff and Tuff, my children, guide you around the town and castle? You are more than welcome to come visit here."
Bandana Dee jumps in, "Y-your highness, if I may, I can also help guide Kirby around." He asks, giving the king a salute, Ebrum smiling.
"I think Tiff and Tuff will be enough, but I appreciate the request. You should probably return to Dedede."
Oof, Bandana Dee wasn't too pleased with the response, but he knew that King Ebrum was reasonable, and it made sense. So he nodded and turned back towards Dedede's section of the castle.
"...and that's chef Kawasaki, he's the only chef in town, not that anybody can't cook, but he's the best chef you'll ever meet." Tuff explains to Kirby. Kirby seemed super happy with everything he heard.
Within the past half hour, Kirby was shown every shop, nook, cranny and the like in the town, everything was so lovely that he almost felt overwhelmed by what he saw.
"Speaking of which, Tiff… why don't we eat something, it's pretty much lunch time!" He asks, Kirby looking happy in response.
"Well I don't see why not, I'm feeling kinda hungry myself." She says, "Cmon Kirby, let's get you a meal here in town." She adds on, Kirby happily following behind.
The trio entered the small restaurant, and took a seat at the table, a chilly sliding on over, much to Kirby's surprise.
"A snowman?" He asks, to which Chilly stopped (as best as a skater like him could) in his tracks, "You talking about me?"
"You look like a snowman!" He says happily, as Chilly looks down at him.
"Sorry Chilly, he's new here, so he's not exactly-"
"It doesn't bother me, no one ever calls me that anymore because they know I'm Chilly, not a random sentient snowman. Anyway… you two want your usuals, and whatever he's having?"
"Yeah, for sure! Oh Kirby, see anything you like on the menu?" Tuff asks as Kirby reads through the menu, practically drooling from all the options.
"Uhhhh…. all!"
Chilly blinks in response, alongside Tiff and Tuff pausing at the response.
"Uh I get you probably haven't eaten in so long Kirby, but you can only pick one, ok?" Tiff explains to Kirby.
"Oohhhh… uhh…" Kirby reads through the menu once more, "I've never had 'burger' before, I wanna try that!" He says with a smile.
Chilly nods, writing it all down, "Ok, I'll tell the chef!"
"Of COURSE the king didn't push any harder, he's a spineless pillow!"
Dedede was ranting once again on his throne, being very not king material in front of Escargoon and Banana Dee, who were standing in front of him. Thankfully the windows were closed so that his yelling didn't escape the room.
"Uh sire… if it helps," Bandana Dee started in attempts to calm Dedede down, "He's currently in the town with the princess and prince-"
"How is that helping? I can't do anything with those twerps around him!"
"I-I'm just saying! Maybe one of the waddle dees is spying on them so we can get more info on Kirby-"
"Kirby! That thing invades my kingdom and thinks he can walk around without worshipping his royal highness?"
"I-I'm sure we're gonna figure something out, right? This isn't that bad your highness!"
Escargoon steps up towards Dedede and in front of Bandana Dee, "I'm telling you your highness, when I saw those two take Kirby to Ebrum, I sent a few waddle dees to the town to spy on Kirby, and then they can tell us alllll about em. They're stupid kids, remember?"
Dedede grinned as Bandana Dee looks at Escargoon in annoyance for basically repeating what he said to the penguin earlier.
"They betta, cause I'm gonna clobba him so hard he's gonna wish he never landed in my kingdom before my mallet hits him!"
"And here we go… Tiff, your usual Grilled Cheese with chips. Tuff, your usual Tenders and fries, and Kirby, here's your burger." Chilly says, handing the group their lunch.
"Thank you Chilly, it looks great!" Tiff says, Kirby's eyes sparkling as he sees the burger in front of him. It looked so delicious to him, and he didn't think he's seen anything like it before.
"Ok.. let's ea-" Tuff says, only to notice Kirby standing up, and starting to open his mouth up widely.
Kirby then began to inhale his burger, taking the whole meal down in one gulp, as his inhaling continued, more food from other patrons were sucked in down his mouth, Tiff and Tuff ducked and held onto the table as he kept on inhaling, soon closing his mouth and sitting down with a satisfied smile.
"Mmm! So yummy!" He says as he opens his eyes, only to be greeted with a bunch of angry faces and a concerned Tiff and Tuff.
"What was THAT?!" Tuff asks in complete surprise, Tiff still trying to register what Kirby did.
"Huh? I ate my food?"
"Kirby.." Tiff began, "You made some kind of twister and inhaled your food… and my food! And Tuff's too!"
"He ate my food too!"
"Mine as well!"
Kirby looked around, a bit surprised, he didn't realize what he just did, he only intended on eating the burger itself.
"Well uh… I'm sure you didn't mean it, right?"
"No! I just wanted to eat mine!"
Tuff sighed, getting up as she heard a door burst open, seeing Kawasaki hop out to see his restaurant all jumbled up by Kirby's inhaling.
"What happened to my restaurant?!" He cried out, all concerned and scrambling around, trying to set as much as he could back together as it once was.
"That Kirby fellow over there did it!" A Poppy Bro points at him.
Kawasaki turned at Kirby with a murderous glare raising his cast iron, much to his concern,

Kirby was launched out of the store with the cast iron smacked against his face, landing back first into the dirt as he tried to follow him out, Tiff and Tuff running out.
"Wait wait wait! Chef Kawasaki! He's new here, he didn't mean it!" Tiff called out to him, which broke him out of his intentions.
Tuff walked over to Kirby to check on him, who thankfully at most only looked dazed,
"Wait… he's new?"
"He really didn't mean it, I promise, he's the one who crash landed here earlier."
The chef bit his lip. His principle was to uphold his honor as a chef, but at the same time, was it really worth upholding it to someone who clearly didn't understand.
He sighed and turned towards Tiff, "If he does it again, he'll face my fury, understood?" He says, before turning back into his restaurant.
Tiff sighed and turned towards Kirby, now she had more questions than answers, and the questions were outweighing the answers by a large margin.
