The stone casing crumbles to the hard floor, and she is standing there. Her soft smile, her blonde hair radiant. One word is on her lips.

"Beast Boy." She holds out a hand, and he reaches for it... but it is too far away. He tries to move closer, but he can't.


"Terra."


What is this thing that builds our dreams

Yet slips away from us?

She smiles again, moving closer to him.

"I've missed you..."

He's still not close enough. He can't grab the hand that he desperately wants to hold.

"Terra, help me... come back..."

"I'm not gone, Beast Boy. I'm always here. I'm with you forever..."

"But Terra... you're not... I don't see you..."

She sighs and slowly closes her eyes.

Little by little, she starts to back up.

"Wait, Terra, wait!"

But she only opens her eyes and stares at him, the angelic smile returning to her face.

She fades, ever so gradually, until there is nothing there but the pile of rock.

His eyes sprang open. He looked around. Where did she go?

Then he realized... he was in his bedroom.

"Terra."

Argh, I didn't know how to end that! I love the ending with just "Terra" but I wanted to have him realize that she was right and he should get on with his life... gahh... oh, well.
