Hey Nuggies! Well I really shouldn't be doing this, but here I am writing another fanfiction since I have writers block on a few of my other ones, and because this won't leave me alone. Here is your warning this will be SLASH! Not to sure on if it'll be M!Preg or not, but at this current moment I have not thought about it.

Main Pairing: AshxPaul

Side pairing: AshxGary (One sided on Gary's part)

Rating: M (to be safe)

Chapter Warning(s): Implications of non-con (very light like one sentence light)

Disclaimer: I do not own pokémon, it belongs to Game Freak, Nintendo, Creatures, The Pokemon Company, etc, nor do I write this for profit. This is for entertainment use only.

Wolfdragonmoon8976, I have no plans for that at the moment. Ash is just 16 and Paul 17. They're still kids themselves and won't think about having kids for a long while.

LSoul6, Meowth is not an Alolan Meowth. I would have specified if it was an Alolan variant. It's just a regular normal type Meowth. As for Doublade, it'll be explained during this chapter. I'm having fun with this fanfic and twisting things. Not everything is going to follow anime/game rules in my fanfiction.

Sakihinata, Meowth isn't shiny. A regular shiny Kanto Meowth is still white in color. This Meowth is black!

Enjoy!

A/N I had to this write out right after I had posted the other chapter because I knew several people were going to say something about the Meowth and the Hyper Beam, which I was right about that. I decided to post it now instead of waiting like I usually do because I got tired of people telling me that I got things wrong and that Meowth was Alolan and such things I had written couldn't affect her. Not once did I say that Meowth was Alolan, but I do hope this chapter clears up the confusion some people have from assuming things.

"So Doublade getting hit by the Hyper Beam is plausible?"

Ash looked at his watch which was connected to Oaks' computer in his lab once he had called the older man and his employer. He had called the old man later that night after Paul had gone to his room to sleep and take care of his pokémon. He had already called Bill about the Meowth he had caught and the man only said that he would need to examine her before he could label her, but he thought it was a high possibility that she was Melanistic. The complete opposite of Albinism, which makes everything that causes the coloration of the fur and skin to be white; Melanistic causes the pigmentation to become fully black.

"Oh absolutely. It's extremely rare that it happens, but it does," Oak explained as he brought up the studies about the phenomenon that he, himself, had done onto the screen for Ash to read, "It's due to the secondary typing Doublade has. If Doublade was a pure ghost type the Hyper Beam would have never had the chance to hit her, but since she does have a typing that is considered a physical/living typing then there is about a 2% chance that an attack type that normally wouldn't hit could hit."

"I see." Ash said as he looked over at Doublade, who was once again at the window she loved to look out of all the dings and scratches she once had were healed by Nurse Joy, "Well, thank you for explaining that to me."

"Of course my dear boy!" Oak said with a grin on his face. The old man did so dearly loved to explain about anything pertaining to pokémon, especially to someone who loved to listen to the explanations.

"By the way. Do you know where I can find a few evolutionary items I need?" Ash asked before explaining he needed a Moonstone for Nidorino, a Dusk Stone or Doublade, and somehow he needed to get Eevee near a Moss Rock since she wanted to evolve into a Leafeon after seeing one on the poolside deck.

"Well, Mt. Moon would have the Moonstone you need, but it's really deep down into the tougher part of the mountain and is protected by the Clefairy and Clefable that live there. Dusk Stone is best to get either in a shop or by mining in Evolution Mountain, and surprisingly it turns out that Eevee can evolve into Leafeon using a Leaf Stone which can also be found in Evolution Mountain or you can visit Leaf Forest to evolve her," Oak explained, "Though you'd need permission from the Mayor and the Chief of Police in Stone Town to get close to the mountain."

Ash nodded as he thanked the professor and made a note to look at the areas Oak mentioned before turning to watch his pokémon once they had said their goodbyes. Pikachu sat on the bottom edge of the bed watching Zoroark giving Riolu the basics in fighting. Vulpix, who had just gotten her bandages off and was almost fully healed, let out yips of encouragement as Riolu landed a few hits on Zoroark while she sat next to Pikachu.

Nidorino let out a few grunts and snorts in what Ash thought were pointers for Riolu as the small pup changed what he was doing afterwards. Charizard was napping with Krookodile in a sunny patch in the room and Eevee was curled up closer to Ash on the bed. Her ears twitched slightly to the noise from the floor. Seadra was also asleep in his tank with his tail curled around a branch at the bottom.

Looking over his pokémon Ash came to the realization that he was getting close to his limit on how many pokémon he can have on hand especially so once Kirlia came back and he did have Mewtwos' ball hanging from his neck on a chain. He only had a spot for one more pokémon on the team. Baby pokémon didn't count for space until they were able to officially start training two-four months after their hatching day, barring complications during that time that could render their training to be put off such as being in the hospital or having become crippled. That only meant that a few of his pokémon needed to stay with the professor for a bit in case he needed the space in his belt for his job.

Ash felt conflicted on who to send to the professor since he didn't want to hurt their feelings by leaving them and taking others, of course he could switch them out, but it could still hurt being the first ones left behind. He could ask his pokémon which ones would be okay to stay back and relax a bit as Ash went around to gather the evolutionary items a few pokémon needed to evolve before their next gym battle. He did, however, want to keep the few that haven't evolved yet with him, but that'll have to wait until they were off the ship since he couldn't bring Tyrantrum out onto the ship.

He did have another problem to tackle. Meowth. He didn't know if she was aggressive to be aggressive or if it was just because she was scared. Either way he needed to see if she wanted to stay with him or if he needed to find her a new home. Letting out a small sigh Ash walked into the bathroom with Meowths' ball in his hand and told the others to not barge in no matter what they hear. He needed to get her to calm down first and foremost before he explained what was going on.

Ash did grab snacks as well as water before closing the door to the bathroom. Maybe having food and water would help Meowth relax around him. When he had first met her he did notice that she wasn't so tense around him, but had gotten more scared when she spotted Pikachu and Zoroark. Maybe it wasn't humans she was afraid of, but other pokémon.

The bathroom was big enough that Charizard could stretch his wings out fully and have enough room on either side for Krookodile to stand shoulder to wing tip. It had a bathtub and shower combination as well as an extra counter, besides the one with the sink in it, with a storage area underneath for bathroom supplies and beside that was the toilet. There was also a large mirror that stood floor to ceiling beside the counter.

Ash sat down on the rug in front of the bathtub/shower and held the ball out in front of him to stare at it for a moment before he pulled out his xtransceiver to read the data he had gotten from the cat.

Meowth

Entry #052

The Scratch Cat Pokémon

Meowth are typically nocturnal, but a few can be found that prefer the day time to explore and stay awake in. They love shiny items and tend to hoard away coins in a safe place where they will play with them until they fall asleep. Meowth tends to stay with their mothers for a while before being sent out into the wild by themselves to find a new home. These felines are often seen fighting with Murkrow over shiny objects or prey. Kantonian Meowth are known to not get along well with their wilder Galarian counterparts as Kantonian Meowth pride themselves on being perfectly groomed and their koban coins bright and shiny whereas the Galarian Meowth pride themselves on keeping their coins as dark and hard as they can and their fur to be as wild as they appear to be.

This Meowth is female and knows the moves Slash, Screech, Play Rough, Shadow Claw, Iron Tail, and has the egg move Last Resort. This Meowths' ability is Pickup.

Notes: This Meowth is an unknown color variant. Please take this Meowth to your nearest Pokémon Professor/Researcher to be classified (this note will be updated once the classification is complete).

His hand throbbed as he remembered Meowths' sharp teeth digging into his hand and he shook his head to try and get the image out of his head. Ash took a deep breath only to slowly release it before pressing on the button to release the hopefully calm feline.

Looking at the Meowth in better light Ash could see how skinny she was, but she still had more meat on her than Zorua when he first got the little fox. Her fur was a dull-ish gray from dirt, dust, and ash while her Koban coin was still glittery and gold. Ash watched as the cat looked around not quite as tensely as he had seen her before. If anything the feline relaxed more as she only saw him in the room.

Her actions furthered his theory that she was more scared of pokémon than humans.

Ash bit his inner cheek to keep a smile off his face as he saw her nose twitch and her eyes honed in at the treats he had brought into the room. Slowly and carefully Ash grabbed the bag of poképuffs and opened it only to take a piece out and tossed the treat close to where she was. The Meowth crept a little closer and sniffed the fish flavored treat before picking it up off the floor, which was clean, only to delicately eat it from her paw.

When she was finished with that treat Ash threw her another one and then another when she finished that one, but each time he tossed a piece he threw it at a shorter distance. It only took a fourth of the bag to get Meowth about a foot away from himself.

"Would you like some water?" Ash asked softly as to not startle the feline. The Meowth looked up at him and tilted her head before looking down at the bag of treats then the bottle of water. The cat let out a small curious chirping sound that Ash had heard only once from a neighbor's Meowth when he was hunting a Pidgey. Ash smiled a bit as he slowly grabbed the bottle and opened it. He held it out and tilted it a bit so the water trickled out for Meowth to lap at, which she did. He didn't mind how wet the bathroom rug was getting. That's what it was there for anyway.

He stopped the trickle when the bottle was emptied half way and capped it once more. Bright gold eyes looked up at Ash again with slightly dilated pupils before the eyes looked down at his injured hand. She leaned down and gave the bandages a few sniffs before letting out a sneeze.

"I'm okay," Ash said, catching her attention, "it'll be fully healed in a couple of weeks. Can I ask you a few questions?"

Ash got a soft meow from the feline and taking it as a yes he began to ask her his questions. Did she have another trainer? An affirmative meow. Was she scared of other pokémon? Another affirmative meow. Did her other trainer know she was scared? A negative meow at that question. Did he or she abandon her? She gave him a positive meow as her ears pinned themselves down on her head.

"Would you like to stay my pokémon? Or would you rather I find you a new home away from other pokémon? Being my pokémon means you'll have to be around my other pokémon as well, but I promise they won't hurt you at all. If anything they'll be more protective of you," Ash asked and began to explain what would happen if she stayed, "Most of my pokémon are rescues like yourself. They'll understand when you need your space and they'll let you approach them when you want to."

The Meowths' ears perked up a bit as she heard her options and it didn't take her long to make her decision. She stood up and placed her soft paw on Ashs' uninjured hand before letting out a slightly louder meow. Her tail swished back and forth a bit. If this human turned out to be lying to her and his pokémon attacked her then she would break her pokéball and leave.

Ash smiled and nodded before he reached out and ran a hand between her ears. "How about a bath?" Ash asked as he brushed a clump of dust off of her, "You're a bit dirty."

Ash stood up and started a bath for her when he got a slight nod in acceptance. He would have left her to clean herself if she wasn't so dirty, but he wouldn't today since all the dirt would make her sick if she tried to groom herself. He told her to pick out a scent she liked as the tub filled and he went to grab a fluffy towel and rag. Ash also got the hair dryer ready to use since he was sure she didn't want to stay wet for long.

He stopped the water and made sure it wasn't too hot before picking her up and placing her in the water. He also grabbed the soap she picked up, a milk and honey scented soap, and placed it on the side of the tub beside the cup he was going to use to rinse her with.

Washing her took a bit of time since he carefully picked out the clumps she had in her fur and washed her twice just to make sure there was no dirt at all in her fur. By the time he emptied the bath Meowth was purring and kneading the towel he had her wrapped in. He pulled the plug and began to dry her off and groom her leaving her a beautiful fluffy clean feline.

He picked her up, warning her that they were going into the next room where his pokémon were, but she was so relaxed that he didn't think she cared that she was about to be around several unknown pokémon. He slowly walked into the room and saw that everyone was napping, but Pikachu and Doublade.

The yellow mouse perked up when he saw Ash and tilted his head when he saw the black bundle in his arm. Ash placed Meowth on the bed, away from the others, before sitting beside her and in between her and Riolu, Vulpix, and Zoroark who were on the bed napping. Ash let out a soft sigh as Pikachu climbed up onto his belly as he laid down and decided to take a nap with everyone else. The purrs from Meowth and the soft warm body of Pikachu quickly lulled him into sleep.

The next day Ash was up and running around the room trying to get everything he needed for the next fight. As promised his pokémon stayed away from Meowth after he spoke to them about her and how afraid she was of other pokémon. He only noticed longing looks from a few of his pokémon to go and greet the feline and a few curious looks towards her from the others, but they stayed away. He did ask both Nidorino and Doublade to keep an eye on her and the others just to make sure everyone was behaving.

Today Charizard, Pikachu, Seadra, and Nidorino are in the fights since the semi-finals are four on four as opposed to the three on three they were the day before and the arena he was going to fight in had a pool that Seadra could use. Meowth decided to stay out of her ball and in the room when Ash asked her despite the fact that the others that weren't fighting were going to stay in the room as well.

"Okay," Ash said as he looked around again and turned the tv on to the channel the fights were being broadcasted on for the others to watch as they waited for them to return, "Let's go!"

He recalled his pokémon and told the others to behave before leaving the room. On the way to the arena he was fighting in, Ash bumped into someone he met the first week on the ship, Zeke. His blue hair was slicked back with water and sunglasses hid his green eyes and Tepig was trailing behind the man as usual.

"Well hello there," Zeke said as he spotted Ash once the teen regained his balance from bumping into him, "Nice to see you again."

Ash coughed softly as he greeted him back, "Hello. Uh how are you?" The air in the hall was awkward as Ash moved to the side to keep walking, but Zeke kept stepping in front of him. When Ash moved the other way again Zeke moved in front of him.

"Can you please move?" Ash asked after a moment, "I really need to get going. I have a battle I need to get to."

"I don't think I will," Zeke said as he smirked, "don't think I have forgotten about what happened the other day. And lookie here. Your monster of a Krookodile isn't here to keep you safe. You just have your pathetic looking mouse."

Anger grew in Ash as he heard the words. His Krookodile was not a monster and Pikachu was in no way pathetic. Pikachu let out sparks from his cheeks as he let out a warning growl. He wouldn't let anyone speak to his trainer like that. Tepig let out a snort and embers from his nose that burned small holes on the wood flooring. It was surprising that it didn't cause the floors to catch fire.

"Get out of my way," Ash said once more all the while clenching his hands into fists.

Zeke chuckled as he walked forward making Ash step back. He took one step forward and Ash took another back. He told Zeke to move and let him leave again, but the other man just kept stepping forward. Pikachu let out a warning zap near the mans' feet, but it didn't stop him from advancing.

"I hate rejection," Zeke whispered as he managed to back Ash up against a wall, "Least of all from a loser like you. You should be begging to even have a chance to get in bed with me, but here you are rejecting the only person who will look your way. And for what? Nothing? I should pin you down and fuck you just for the hell of it before leaving you there to pine for something you'll never get again."

Ash swallowed around a lump in his throat as Zeke placed his hands on the wall on either side of him and thrust a leg between his own, effectively trapping him against the wall. His own hand slowly reached for his pokéballs on his belt for Charizards' ball, but flinched as Tepig shot embers at his already injured hand effectively burning the bandages and his hand.

Pikachu, fed up with this human cornering his trainer and for the little pig harming him, let out a snarl and a blast of electricity at Tepig. The pig squealed and let out more embers only this time catching the floor and the wall on fire. Zeke scrambled back as he was hit by both the electricity and a few embers and began yelling at Ash and his Tepig.

Ash fell and reached down to put out the fire on his foot as his sock and shoe had caught on fire before scrambling to grab the fire extinguisher on the wall across from where he had been pinned. Not caring that Zeke or the Tepig was in the line of fire, Ash quickly pulled the tab and released the solution in the canister to put the fire out.

"Ash!"

Dropping the extinguisher now that the fire was out Ash turned to see Paul, and a female stranger, standing at the end of the hallway. The dark haired teen let out a small sob before running towards his boyfriend. He wrapped his arms around Paul and buried his face in his broad chest. Ash felt Pauls' arms wrap around him as the woman standing next to Paul began to ask questions.

He didn't care about her at the moment. Paul was here and he was safe now.
