Akimi was getting ready for battle. Putting on a special piloting suit, she, along with her sorry excuse of an expert pilot headed into the robot. The Louds stayed in the monitoring room as the giant mech was being elevated outside. Meanwhile, being seen on the monitors was a giant reptilian beast was reaching the city of Tokyo. It was a Raiju, a category 4 Kaiju, having the form of a giant anthromorpic crocodile. As it was about to smash apart it's first building, Lana couldn't help but find this awesome...

Lana:"I still can't believe it! A real life monster! Like from the movies! It's awesome!"

Lori:"Not really! Because it's about to destroy the city!"

Lola:"Don't worry about it, Lori! Akimi and Emil have a giant robot! Everything will be fine!"

Lynn:"Are you forgetting the fact that Akimi said that Emil sucked badly as piloting that thing!?"

Luan:"Oh, come on. How bad could he be?"

Lisa:"Well, I can show you the footage if you want to see for yourself."

Typing on the computer, Lisa pulled up videos of Emil test piloting the mech. Most of it was him destroying hundreds of acres of land, smashing hills and mountains, and falling on the mech's face several times. The Louds cringed, knowing how bad Emil was at piloting the robot, and looked back at seeing the robot ready to launch...

Luna:"Yep. We're doomed."

Rita:"I-I'm sure it won't be that bad! But, just in case, shouldn't we be leaving right now?"

Lisa:"I wouldn't recommend it. This bunker is just about the safest place around at the moment."

Lynn Sr:"Well, at least enjoy the show."

Lana:"Too bad we don't have popcorn."

Lincoln had stayed silent, deep in thought of what was happening. He knows he's just a kid, but he managed to surprise the heck out of everyone this week with the way he piloted the robot, especially himself. And after seeing Emil's crappy piloting skills on video, he had the right to believe that they were in serious trouble. It might've just been luck, but the city needs someone who can really control that thing. They'll be in for a shock, as he began to slip away...

The Raiju was starting to tear apart the city as mech had arrived. It was safe to say that everyone was surprised, considering that you would only see this kind of stuff in movies or cartoons. But inside the mech, the two pilots were ready for battle. Akimi was only praying to God that Emil doesn't screw this up...

Akimi:"Okay, McCoy. This is your chance to prove your worth."

Emil:"Relax, honey. I got this!"

Akimi:"(sighs) You better."

And with that, Emil began to move the mech forward as the Raiju was coming for it. He was about to deliver the first blow, but the monster bad caught him and he was forced to step back...

Emil:"Come on, you ugly son of a-!"

He didn't even have time to finish his insult as the monster scratched at the head of the mech. Then came it's tail, which Akimi was forced to catch while Emil tried once more at attack. He managed to land a punch across the Raiju's face, but that was about all he did as the beast threw him aside, causing the mech to crash into a building...which then fall onto a other building, as they began to fall like dominos...

Akimi:"Maybe, it would be best if we took him away from the city!"

Emil:"Don't be a backseat driver!"

Akimi:"THAT'S LITERALLY MY-"

Emil:"SHUT UP! I GOT THIS!"

Getting back on his feet, Emil was about to do a roundhouse kick at the Raiju, only for his foot to be caught by it's giant mouth and then thrown to the ground. The Raiju began to put a beating on the robot with it's giant tail, as Akimi did her best to block it's attack...

Akimi:"Twenty years, I've been building this damn thing! I'm NOT letting it go to waste!"

Emil:"You worry too much! We got this!"

Akimi:"WE CLEARLY. DON'T HAVE. ANYTHING!"

Kicking the monster away, the mech brought out a sword and began swinging at the Raiju, which was then knocked away as the monster ripped a train from the tracks and smashed it over the mech's head. It then charged at the robot and knocked it to the ground. Seeing the creature bring out some claws, the two inside felt like they were about to get done for...

Emil:"('0_o) Okay...you might have a point."

Akimi:"YOU THINK?! (Groans) Well, it was fun while it lasted."

Lori:"Oh, this doesn't look good."

Lana:"And they were doing so well!"

Lola:"Not from where I was standing! That Emil guy sucks at driving!"

Luna:"He was milking every move he made!"

Lynn:"Well, so much for our Japanese vacation."

Lana:"There's probably not gonna be monsters like that back, right Lincoln? ...Lincoln?"

It was then and there that they finally noticed Lincoln wasn't there. And then, they started to freak out. But they all paused when they saw the door leading out of the bunker was wide open...

Lori:"He didn't."

Rita:"I think he did."

Leni:"Wait, what did he do?"

Everyone looked at Leni before facepalming...

Lynn:"Let's just go after him before he does something crazy!"

Back to the fight, Emil and Akimi were practically waiting at this point for it all to be over...

Emil:"Okay, I think that this taking way too long to finish the job."

Akimi:"Well, maybe...you should be thinking of a way to GET US OUT OF THIS!"

Emil:"I don't know what to do here! The controls are jammed!"

Akimi:"God. You make me wanna take my sword and slam it through your skull!"

Emil:"Wow. Didn't know you were that kind of girl."

Akimi:"YOU SON OF A-"

Suddenly, they heard a hatch open and Emil was pulled out from his seat..

Emil:"What the-?"

Lincoln:"Get out!"

And coming into the seat was Lincoln who Akimi was surprised to see. Emil tumbled a bit before fall to the floor of the destroyed road. Inside the mech, Lincoln say the giant claw that was soon to come down and took evasive actions. Grabbing hold of the monster's arm, he shoved it the ground, inches away from the mech's before the mech kicked the Raiju away from it. Inside, Akimi was surprised to see who was in the seat piloting seat now...

Akimi:"LINCOLN? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

Lincoln:"Saving you! Now hold on!"

At the controls now, Lincoln managed to get the robot back on its feet. Then, he recovered the sword that robot had and raised it up, facing the Raiju as it roared at him, revealing the true face of its. The crocodile head was merely an armored shell to the ugly monstrous face that it hid under it...

Lincoln:"Woah! That is freaky!"

Akimi:"How did you even get here?!"

Lincoln:"A friend of yours gave a ride."

?:"(through com link) Hey, Akimi..."

Akimi:"DARIO?"

A few miles away from the action, there was a tanned, italian guy who was about the same age as Akimi, wearing a camouflage uniform and an ammo vest. His name was Dario Gomez, a solider who was a friend to Akimi's family for years. He helped with the creation of her project and has supported her ever since. And right now, he was in a jeep, talking to his old friend on a radio and kind of bullets right now...

Dario:"So...the kid seems nice, way better than McCoy. And, from what I just saw...he wasn't kidding when he said he was a good pilot?"

Akimi:"You drove him here?!"

Dario:"Well, yeah. He said that you needed help. And now I see why."

Akimi:"You just put a little kid in mortal danger!"

Lincoln:"Uh, Akimi?"

Dario:"He wanted to help."

Lincoln:"Akimi..."

Akimi:"When I'm done here, I'm going to kick your ass, Dario!"

Lincoln:"AKIMI!"

Akimi:"WHAT?!"

Seeing Lincoln point to the screen, they saw some vehicles being thrown at them. Some landed, some didn't, all of them they quickly blocked. As such, Akimi had her head back in the game...

Lincoln:"Let's just finish this!"

Akimi:"Fine with me."

And with that, the mech ran to the Raiju, who ran back. But this time, they landed the first hit. The sword managed to break through the armored scales of the Raiju's body, allowing some punches to land some damage. Knowing that melee attacks weren't gonna do enough damage, Lincoln sent robot back a little as he saw the creature's tail coming at them. Bringing out some miniguns, he started firing at some exposed flesh, causing the monster to scream in pain before he got up close and personal again. This time, he grabbed at the 'mouth' of the Kaiju and opened her up nice easy...

Lincoln:"Alright... let's give it to him!"

Akimi:"Come on!"

It was then that the robot brought out some duel shoulder cannons, ones that ran on plasma energy. Both Lincoln and Akimi kept the mouth wide open as the powered up the cannons...

Lincoln:"Come on. Come on!"

Akimi:"TAKE IT!"

Taking the shot, the cannons fired at the exposed face of the Raiju. It began to glow in a bright ball of light before the it's head had exploded. The mech moved back as there was a smoldering creature of where the Kaiju's face used to be, with it's blood raining down and it's body leaning backwards. It fell into the ocean where it sunk and disappeared. The mech stood still as Lincoln and Akimi collapsed from exhaustion. But Akimi still had to confront Lincoln about all this.

Akimi:"What were you thinking, Lincoln? Coming out here and trying to be a hero?"

Lincoln:"I wasn't trying to be a hero. I...had to do something. Seeing you guys get recked and knowing Emil wasn't cut out for this...I didn't see you destroyed with your work."

Akimi:"You have a family to get back, Lincoln. I have nothing to lose. Even if I fall, there were always be others to fight back against monsters like these."

Lincoln:"Maybe...but they would never be able to achieve what you just have. I mean, come on! You've proven that this thing can fight! And it wasn't even finished! We've both gotten the chance to fight another day."

Akimi:"...Yeah, I guess your right."

The people of the city came out of hiding to see the giant mech that towered over them and had destroyed the Kaiju. They all applaud in joy and happiness, except for one guy. Emil was knocked out cold when Lincoln threw him out of the robot, but he woke up just in time to see the grand finale. His moment of glory, stolen of him. He was going to take personally...
