Akimi:"A millennium ago, this world belonged to the titans. The human race were their subjects and they lived peacefully under the prosperity and structure by the great rulers. But as time went by, they began to grow envious of each other, becoming greedy, and lustful for power, every titan wanting to usurp the other for control over territory. Their battles destroyed and it seemed as if life would never thrive again on the planet's surface...but evolution had different ideas. Humanity was spared the fate of the titans, but that doesn't mean they were all gone. For in generations, the growth of a new breed of gigantic beings of great power that comes from the earth itself had continued just as human life evolved for centuries. And for this, do we face such great threats to our way of life that come from the monstrous beings we now know as Kaiju."

Lincoln sat at his bed, taken it all in. If he was gonna stay and continue fighting God knows how many monsters, Akimi thought it best to tell him about their history, where they came from and why they despise humans."

Akimi:"It was once said that a certain Titan despised the human race, wanting no 'weaklings' such as ourselves to be subjects to a greater race. It was it's war that the titans fought against and died trying to preserve their way of life, and where the Kaiju came from. They are that Titan's children, his followers, his reincarnations."

Lincoln:"Did you know what he was called?"

Akimi:"A fitting name for was「アビゴール」`Abigōru', meaning 'Unwilling'. It is his offspring that we face, and I fear that one day...we may need to face him."

He'd be lying if that Lincoln said that didn't scare him. He may have been holding his own so far against every Kaiju that has attacked so far, but if he was bound to face some kind of Kaiju Killer King, he wasn't sure if he'll ever be ready for that. But he didn't have time to think about that as Akimi placed a black funeral suit in his lap.

Akimi:"For now...it's time we go pay our respects."

That made Lincoln look down at his suit as today was the day of his family's funeral. On the way, he received a call from one of his friend back home, Clyde. Word must've gotten out at what happened in Japan as Clyde sounded a little frantic.

Clyde:"Lincoln! It's so good to hear from you. When I found out that you and your family won a trip to Japan, I was thrilled. But then I saw on the news all these reports about monster attacking the city and the airport, I was like- Dude, are you okay? Is your family okay. W-What happened over there? ...Lincoln?"

Lincoln:"Clyde...my family's gone...I'm all that's left."

Clyde:"...What? What do you mean they're gone? They're...T-They're dead?! T-T-That can't be true. Tell me your joking. Lincoln...please."

Lincoln:"They never found the body...but they were at the airport. It's my fault...I could've saved them...I could've had a plan."

Clyde:"Lincoln...none of this is your fault. You couldn't have planned for monsters to suddenly show up and- ...I'm really sorry."

Lincoln:"We're gonna be doing a memorial service for them here. But Clyde...I'm not coming back."

Clyde:"What? What do you mean?"

Lincoln:"I'm staying here, Clyde. I have to see this through. My family's murder wasn't an accident. Someone set us up...(clenches phones)...and someone has to pay."

Clyde:"Whoa, Lincoln...what are you talking?"

Lincoln:"Haven't you see that giant robot on TV as well?"

Clyde:"...Yeah?"

Lincoln:"I'm the pilot."

Clyde:"Wait, what?! Lincoln, you're piloting a giant robot?!"

Lincoln:"And it's gonna stay that way...until revenge is served. This is goodbye, Clyde."

Clyde:"Lincoln, wa-"

But the White-Haired boy hung up as they made it to where the Funeral was taking place. Upon entering, the service was unlike what Lincoln expected. It's like it was specifically designed to honor his family in such a way as they would be remembered as the family to a great hero. 12 coffins...and 10 armors, Samurai Armor to be exact. All, from left to right, in the signature colors of his sisters.

Akimi:"I took it upon myself to have those armors donated for this service. They will stand guard over your family forever."

Lincoln:"More like they'll stand guard over 12 empty caskets."

Akimi:"(sighs) I know, we couldn't find the bodies, but still...don't you want say goodbye?"

Without a word, Lincoln walked to the altar, where he takes out a picture of him and the Louds and places it on there. And then he takes a moment to reflect.

Lincoln:"...I know you wanted me to stop, but not after this...I can't go back home, not with you...I need to see this through, to make...to make whoever did this to us...pay with their life."

Meanwhile, Akimi felt her phone vibrate and forced herself to leave the room as she takes the call."

Akimi:"もしもし."

?:"How are you enjoying the ceremony? I'm personally at tears for the boy right now."

Akimi:"Who is this?"

?:"Listen carefully, Nagamaki. You and the boy are in great danger if you keep messing with our plans. But I'm willing to cooperate. The world doesn't have to suffer through more of the Kaijus' attacks. It can all come to an end if these great titans rule the world once more. That can't happen if you keep fighting them."

Akimi:"You want me to stand down?"

?:"I want you to join me. Together, we can bring this world into a new great peace. And that boy can have the greatest life one could ask for if you persuade him to join as well."

Akimi:"It's not happening. Whoever you are, if I find out you had something to do with that boy's loss-"

?:"You won't be able to do anything. Think about my request, you'll find it most beneficial."

Akimi:"I don't have to. My choice stays the same."

?:"Well, that's too bad. Because every choice has consequences. Just ask your young protégé."

Akimi's eyes widened when she turned back to the room, only to see a man approaching Lincoln from behind, a knife slipping from his sleave. Acting fast, Akimi threw her sword out and it manages to hit the guy in the back of his head. Luckily, he was only hit with the kashira, so his head wasn't cut off or anything like that. Otherwise Lincoln would caught a sight that was too bloody, even for him. But this was enough for everyone to start panicking and it seems invaders had interrupted the service. Not just any invaders by the looks of the tattoos they sported. Seems that they were dealing with Yakuza, as Akimi grabs hold of Lincoln and her blade and they run out of there before more gangsters showed up.

"子供をゲット!"

"雌犬を引き裂く!"

"私たちはこれに対してたくさんの現金を受け取っています!"

Lincoln covered his eyes as he held onto Akimi, not wanting to see what was going on as he heard gunshots from every corner. Akimi did her best to protect herself and Lincoln as they were fired upon, but she manages to to deflect the bullets with her sword.

Akimi:"Hold on tight, Lincoln."

Then, she heads in with her blade in hand and in a few split seconds, she cuts through her attackers before rushing out of there. Their driver had unfortunately bailed on them...with the keys, so they had to find another means of transportation. Fortunately, a Yakuza member was getting off his motorcycle just now, giving Akimi her chance as does a flying kick to his face.

Akimi:"(lands on the bike) Thanks for the ride. Get ready, Lincoln! We're getting out of here!"

Revving up the bike, the two ride out of there with the Yakuza chasing after them. Someone really wants them out of the picture, so there's no doubt been a hit put on their heads. Typical. Even an organized criminals will do anything for money, even hunt down the city's heroes. From the looks of things, they were riding back to the hanger as Akimi had Lincoln in front of her as they rode.

Akimi:"Lincoln...things are gonna be difficult for both of us, but I have to know if you're truly willing to see this through. If you're fully committed to the life you're about to be part of. You can still walk away, and I can offer all I can to make sure you live a good life."

Lincoln:"...I am willing to fight by your side, Akimi. Nothing will change my mind."

Akimi:"(smiles) Then get ready, Lincoln. We've made it this far. But it'll only get more difficult from here on out."

After they rode back home, Lincoln took some time to himself as he pulled out a picture of his family and let a tear drop from his eye.

Lincoln:"...I will make it up to you guys...I promise."
