Galar Region, Motostoke City, 3 Days Later

'You're scaring me. What do you mean it's affecting humans and Pokemon?'

'I mean that no human or Pokemon is safe anymore… and I'm one of the victims'

'That was one weird Pokemon… Leafeon's have been known to not bite people… why did it bit me then?'

'I can't believe it… Viridian City has also been overrun by them'

'I KNOW YOU WANT TO HELP, BUT YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!'

'We have to save them!'

'If you see Ash… tell him I kept my promise'

'We need to get out of Kanto'

…

'Don't be afraid… we'll get through this in the end'

'I'm not afraid to die… I'm just glad you're here in the end at my side'

"No!" Ash suddenly yelled as he shot up with his eyes wide and a slight bluish glow surrounding them as he looked around the room with sweat pouring down his face. He tried to calm down, but those voices, a few of them people he knew, kept swimming around in his head 'Was all that a dream?… or did all this really happen… what's going on in Kanto and… if they are real then Misty, Brock and Professor Oak… they're all d-'

"Ash!" Gou said as he ran into the room holding what looked like a bat "Are you alright? You suddenly just yelled out and before that you seemed to be having a nightmare of sorts"

"I'm alright… like you said it was probably a nightmare" Ash replied and although Gou didn't seem to believe him, the Vermillion trainer sighed and left him to his thoughts

The Pallet-native looked down at Pikachu, who stared worryingly at him. He gave him a small smile and started rubbing the mouse on the head as he still tried to process everything he heard 'The last few days all I've seen were some blurred images, which I just ignored since I couldn't make out anything… but this time instead of images, I heard the voices of those who I know and some I don't… but it's the last two voices at the end that surprised me…'

Don't be afraid… we'll get through this in the end

I'm not afraid to die… I'm just glad you're here in the end at my side

Ash sighed as he knew who those voices belonged to; himself and May Maple. He tried to search his memories to see if this was a conversation they've had before… expect nothing came to mind. Whatever the dream voices were trying to tell him, he knew that if what he heard was true… then May and everyone else he knew were no longer safe

"Hey Ash!" Gou said, breaking Ash from his thoughts as he turned towards the door which was slightly open "You might want to get over here and well... just come out here over to the TV" he continued saying which made the raven haired teen feel uneasy all of a sudden as he slowly and cautiously made his way out towards the main room in the small hotel they were staying at

Johto Region, Ecruteak City

Max Maple looked at his badge case in his hands and smiled as he looked down at his newest badge. He was currently at the Pokemon Center after having battled against Morty for the Fog Badge. He had to admit fighting the whole Gastly evolutionary line was pretty awesome, even if he did have trouble with Gengar in the end… but hey, he did win in the end

The young trainer carefully put his badge case away and took out the latest model of Pokenav his father had given him when he set out on his journey. Turning it on, he searched for where the next gym was… and he found it, Cianwood City! Wanting to get some information about the gym leader, he clicked on the info icon 'Let's see Cianwood is apparently on a totally different landmass than the rest of the region. Due to Cianwood City being at a dead end location in the Johto region, it was not a popular destination… I guess that means I'll have to take a boat their' thought the Hoenn native with a sigh and went back to reading some more

'The gym leader's name is Chuck, those who defeat him gain the Storm Badge and he's a Fighting-type specialist Gym… His main Pokemon are a Poliwrath, Machamp, Hitmontop and Conkeldurr… so Pokemon outside of Johto. Alright, fighting types are weak against Fairy, Flying, Psychic. I'll use Kirlia; who has both psychic and fairy type moves, Grovyle; who is speedy and isn't damaged by fighting moves much and lastly Shuppet; who isn't affected by fighting type moves'

With his brain on planning a strategy on how to beat Chuck, Max almost missed the large crowd who seemed to be looking at something. He slowly turned his attention towards the big screen TV and walked over towards the group, curious with what was going on

Hoenn Region, Verdanturf Town

With only less than one minute left, everyone watched the battle before them in excitement

"Meowstic, use psybeam!"

"Sylveon, counter with moonblast!"

The fairy type Eeveelution jumped up to avoid the psychic attack and spread her feelers wide open as an image of the moon appeared behind her. Sylveon then formed a pink energy orb in front of her mouth, and fires it at the psychic type head on and causing her trainer's opponent to lose more points

"Times up!" a female voice yelled out as both a honey blonde and blue haired teenage girls looked up at the screen above them. The blue haired girl sighed as she saw who was the clear winner and sent her psychic type a smile "The winner of the Verdanturf Contest is Serena Yvonne!"

The honey blonde, now revealed to be Serena, ran towards her fairy type and hugged her "Sylveon, we did it! You were amazing!"

"Serena that was a great battle… you deserved the win" said the same blue haired girl

"You gave me a tough battle, Miette. I'm proud to call you my rival and am looking forward to another battle with you" Serena said with determination at the end

Miette nodded with a smile "I'll make sure to catch up with you and Shauna soon" with that said the former Performer turned Coordinator made her way of the stage with Serena looking at her retreating form. Miette wasn't the same as she was in Kalos, now acting more mature and doing little to no teasing. However, she still does enjoys sneaking up behind people to surprise them

Serena slowly made her way towards the middle of the stage as Mr. Contesta walked up towards her holding a small box in his hands

"Congratulations on winning. That was a spectacular battle you just had. This is your third ribbon correct?" he asked as the honey blonde nodded while taking the ribbon from the box

"We look forward to seeing you in the next contest you compete in" Nurse Joy said with a smile

Serena returned the smile as she stared at the ribbon in awe "I just won the Verdanturf Contest and this ribbon is all mine!" she declared with a pose as the crowd cheered in approval

Later on as Serena made her way out of the dressing room, she took note of the crowd of people surrounding the big TV on the wall. Making her way over, Serena couldn't help but wonder what could be happening to cause many to crowd around the television

Sinnoh Region, Veilstone City

May smiled to herself as she had finally arrived at Veilstone City. She would have arrived sooner, except she had taken a few detours here and there and as such took longer getting here. May couldn't wait to check into a Pokemon Center and find out where her next Contest would be held

'If I were still traveling with Ash, he'd be wanting to head over to the gym… I wonder at times what would have happened had I decided to continue traveling with Ash… I missed him while I was in Johto and even now I still miss him… maybe I shouldn't have left him…'

The brunette shook her head. No time to think about what ifs or what could have been. Nope, she made her chose all those years ago and as such needed to live with her decision… 'Of course doesn't mean I have to like it'

Something soon caught her attention however as she saw a TV station playing a news report that seemed to be of some importance and decided to see what it was about

Kanto Region, Indigo Plateau

Lorelei stood in front of the camera that a blue haired teenage girl held as the Elite Four looked at the camera with a saddened expression on her face "This is Lorelei of the Kanto Elite Four, with some urgent news. We regret to report that almost 2 months ago; a virus of some kind was released. This is like something none of us have ever seen before. All of us of Kanto had done everything possible… unfortunately it wasn't enough and as such we now bring even more bad news. Many of us believe that this virus may soon start popping up in other regions and advise you all not to engage the infected should you come near one and instead try and get to safety" suddenly an explosion was heard as people started panicking too

"Get the remaining survivors out now!" said a voice of camera as suddenly both Lorelei and the teenage girl turn toward where Lance and the rest of the Elite Four were helping out the few remaining people not infected onto various different boats

"Are those…" said the teenage girl in a scared voice as she pointed towards a group of infected humans and Pokemon coming over to the remaining none infected group

Lorelei shell-shocked at the amount of infected coming could only nod at the incomplete question

Back with Blue, Daisy, Delia and Tracy, all four had split into half riding Dragonite and the other half riding Blue's Charizard after giving the fire type a full restore

"Why'd he have to sacrifice himself like that?" Daisy asked with tears

Blue sighed and turned to his sister with a sad look "I think he did it for us… he made it so we got the chance to life another day"

"But at what cost? How will we be able to live with all this happening?" the brunette countered

At this Blue had no answer as he turned to Tracy, who looked just as lost

"We just have to hope that things will one day get better and do whatever we can to make sure that happens" Delia suddenly spoke with determination. Slowly the trio found themselves agreeing with her and looked out into the sea with determination

Meanwhile, Red and Leaf looked on as from a distance at the small boats slowly leaving from Indigo Plateau, while other trainers used their flying Pokemon instead for escaping

"Hey I see you guys escaped too" said a familiar voice as the two Pallet trainers saw none than Dick with a red haired girl riding behind him on a Pidgeot

"Dick! I'm glad you were able to find your girlfriend and get out that horror" Leaf said glad to see the boy who had helped both her and Blue

"Yeah and right on time too. Celadon was already infected with a few of these zombified Pokemon and humans alike" the red head said

"Do you know where you'll go? If what Lorelei said is true about this virus getting into the other regions there might not be safe either" Red spoke as he looked at the duo

Dick sighed at that "Well in the end me and Babs decided on Sinnoh, Kalos or Galar. Those are far from Kanto and hopefully if they should reach one of those regions than a cure will have been found by then"

Red nodded and though over the options the black haired teen said 'Sinnoh, Kalos or Galar huh? Maybe me and Leaf should take a page from their book and do the same… even if it kills me to think of the idea at running away… but in this case nothing I or anyone does at the moment will be of any help and might make it worst instead'

Galar Region, Motostoke City

Ash stared in horror at what had been going on to his home region. He just couldn't believe it had come to this. Suddenly he realized that what he had heard in his dream now made sense… the frighten and quiet voice of Misty, the confusion in Brock's, the panicked scream of who he now remembered was Daisy Oak, Dawn's desperate plea at saving those who needed help and the acceptance and sadness of Professor Oak's last words

"Do you think… my parents, Chloe and Professor Cerise all got out safely?" Gou suddenly said in a frighten tone

"I hope they did…" Ash told his friend as faced the screen once again… he felt there was no way any of them would be able to escape if no cure was found soon

Now I introduced Max and Serena into the story and we see the return of May, Ash and Gou too! Everyone has now found out about the virus and now the question is what will they all do and can they stop this from spreading? Next chapter will be Johto and Hoenn with a time jump and some new characters will also be involved too. Also we are getting close to Ash and May almost reuniting with one another too, won't say when but that line where May tells Ash 'I'm not afraid to die… I'm just glad you're here in the end at my side' in his 'dream' will be further explained later on too and yes I might bring in aura into the story, as you saw in this chapter ;) Till next time everyone
