3 weeks later, Sinnoh Region, Snowpoint City

"In other news, infected have been reported to have appeared in Galar and Unova. Hoenn is now completely lost with many humans attempting to leave before they too get infected. There have been confirmed sights in Sinnoh near Hearthome City. It is advised that everyone remain on high alert and be prepared for the worse. In other new..."

May looked at the TV screen in horror. The virus had reached the rest of the regions... and was now here in Sinnoh as well. The brunette was hoping that the virus would be contained, but seems her wish was unfortunately ignored or unable to be granted due to unforeseen events

Sighing, the brunette decided to get moving towards Lake Acuity, having heard a mysterious Pokemon lived there. However just as she left the Pokemon Center, a voice was heard throughout the whole city

"Attention! Everyone must evacuate the city, infected have entered the city! I repeat infected have entered the-" Officer Jenny was saying until a scream was heard in the background with gunshots being fired and soon only static was left

The whole place was quiet for a moment, until it erupted into chaos. Everyone started to panic and were mindlessly running around. May suddenly noticed flying Pokemon of different colours start and attack certain humans. May made a dash towards cover and saw many others do the same

"Are those the infected?"

"The news report said they were being contained in Kanto and Johto!"

"Didn't you hear? Hoenn is doomed, Galar and Unova have infected reported there and there was sighting of them in Hearthome City!"

"I should have just stayed at home..."

"We're all gonna die!"

Multiple different people all shouted their concerns as glass was heard being shattered and screaming could be heard once again as May and a couple others peaked out from where they hid and saw some trainers taking a stand against the infected, only to see them fall after a while

May noticed that multiple humans and Pokemon were going down and that they no longer looked the same anymore as she took note of their appearance... they looked like those who she had seen enter the city a few minutes ago

"What can we do against those?! They don't even seem to feel any pain!" a young girl cried out, but that was a mistake as many infected turned towards their direction

Many glared at the girl as she sweat dropped and apologized for that. No choice now but to either take a stand and fight or run... seems many chose to run. The infected wasted no time and ran after them in lightning-fast speed that you couldn't even see them move

May turned around in time to see a Crobat sink his teeth into the neck of the same girl who had caused them to gain the attention of the infected. Sweat started to fall down May's forehead as she stood up and took a few steps back...

However, the brunette unfortunately didn't see where she was going and as such felt herself bump into something hard. Turning around slowly, May screamed as she saw an infected Scyther before her and started to move away from him

"Ahh!" May cried out as she felt the blade cut her hair and dropped to her knees. She was lucky to have not gotten her head cut off. However, the Scyther was seen advancing towards her, May could do nothing but tremble in fear as she couldn't move an inch

'Why won't my body move! I don't want to die... Is this the end?'

"Look out!" a male voice suddenly yelled, sounding somewhat familiar to her as the brunette closed her eyes tightly and braced for the pain she was about to feel from the blade

However, when she opened her eyes, she looked on in awe and terror. Standing in between her and the infected Pokemon, was a familiar teen as May's eyes widened in recognition at who was standing before her with a sword in hand

He wore a skin-tight red and black T-shirt and black and dark gray slim fit knee length shorts. He had a messed up green backpack and dirty white and green slip-on sneakers. On his wrist, May noticed a Mega Bracelet much to her surprise

"Brendan? What are you doing here?" she questioned, surprised at seeing him of all places. Last she heard of him, Brendan had been in Kalos, but that was over a year ago

"No time to answer questions May. I can't hold him off much longer, so hopefully your shock is over and you can stand" Brendan replied, blocking each hit as May nodded and slowly got back onto her feet

Seeing his childhood friend back on her own two feet, Brendan took May's hand and pulled her away from the infected

"What's happening Brendan? The news report said the infected were in Hearthome and where on earth did you get that sword for?" May asked once they were a safe distance away from the infected

"Well, what's happening is the infected are in town" Brendan joked but stopped laughing at the look May gave him "Tough crowd. Look the news report you saw... it didn't have all the data concerning Sinnoh's condition. I don't know the whole story or details, just it wasn't accurate. As for the sword, I got it as soon as I heard about infected in Sinnoh. Better to be prepared for the worst, I'm not going to go down so easily after all"

Wincing at the screams in the background, May took what Brendan said seriously... he was right. This was bound to happen at one point and what did she and many others do, continue their lives as if there weren't infected running around. Brendan was one of the few who thought ahead and decided to have somewhat of a head start to when they finally came around

"- need a weapon or something" Brendan's voice said, startling May from her thoughts as the sound of bones breaking was heard, voices pleading to be spared only to suddenly hear their agonizing screams echo... it was to much

"MAY!" Brendan once again said as May looked back up at him "Come on, we can't stay here all day! Like I said before, we also need to find some sort of weapon so you're not defenseless"

Slightly listening, May nodded as Brendan grabbed her wrist and took out a pokeball as a Flygon appeared. While the brunette got on, Brendan took care of the 2 infected that tried to surprise them... but Brendan was able to turn the tables, having encountered a few before arriving in Snowpoint City

"Flygon, let's move while we still have a chance!" with that said, the Mystic Pokemon nodded and flew into the air, with a few other trainers doing the same

May looked back towards the city and felt bad about the Pokemon and people who lot their lives and were now forced to live like infected

Hoenn Region, Petalburg City

Blue cursed as his Charizard almost got bitten as he turned towards the others. Daisy and Delia seemed to be helping one another, Dawn had gone off to help a few other people, and Tracy was using a metal pole he found to throw away as many infected as he could... everyone else was doing the same, but the infected just kept on coming

"We're never gonna get out of here if this keeps up!" Daisy said as she returned her Pokemon and took out a sling shot she had found lying around

"We'll find an opening soon, just keep pushing!" Blue said with as much determination as he could. He really wished they hadn't landed in Hoenn and wished they were in Alola or even Orre instead

"Ahh!" Tracy was heard screaming as he held his ear... or what use to be his ear "Damn, at least it was a glass and not a bit that hit me" he said, moving back slightly and adjusted his headband to cover the damage as best he could

"Serena, look out!" a female voice suddenly called out as Blue whipped his head and saw as an infected was about to strike the honey blonde, only for a brunette to take the hit instead

"Shauna!" the blunette screamed in horror as she was slightly away from honey blonde, who Blue thought was the one called Serena

Shauna dropped to her knees as blood was seen pooling around her. With shaking hands, she took her bag off and threw it towards Serena, who had yet to move "Save my Pokemon... don't let them suffer the same fate as me" she said as her eyes rolled back and dropped to the ground

The infected who had attacked, eagerly now making a meal out of the girl. Serena could only watch as something suddenly snapped inside her, her eyes filled with fury at seeing her friend fate

With a scream, Serena used the metal rod and with as much strength as she could hit the infected Pokemon's head "You wanted me right! Well come and get me!" she said, holding the metal rod as if were a sword

Blue could only watch in disbelief at the scene before him, but was pushed out of the way as Dawn, who had returned, helped him avoid a slash to his face and turned back to the battle at hand

The blunette moved over towards them as she held the bag of her dead friend and a pair of nunchucks in her hands tightly "I thought we left the infected behind us at Lilycove!" she said, unleashing a fury of attacks, although messy and amateur, they did the job

"Sorry sister, but fun's not over yet" Blue said seriously as he heard the teen sigh "When will this nightmare end" was her whispered answer as Dawn sent her a sad smile

That was a good question thought... when would this all end?

So I updated again ;) May is back and wow I added in Brendan too! Plus don't think I forgot about everyone in Hoenn and yes I did say that out of Serena, Miette and Shauna, one of them would die. Sorry if the death seems meh, but I needed Miette and Serena so I just made Shauna sacrifice herself. Next chapter we will be back in Galar and again in Hoenn to see what will happen to both groups
