'If you didn't go to Seido, what would you do?'

That was the very question in front of them, courtesy of the guidance counselor. Since it's mandatory, they have to answer it, at least with each other, verbally.

"...I don't know," is the most common answer among them.

"Probably go to Inashiro with Mei..." Miyuki admits, smiling sheepishly.

Sawamura answers it quite easily though, "Teach myself baseball," much to the shock of the others.

"Hah?"

"Oi!"

"Seriously?!"

Sawamura just laughs, "You say that like I have a choice." He shakes his head, "I don't. I really don't." After taking a breath, he sadly smiles, like it can't be helped, "For me...there would be no other choice if I want to play."

Everyone's silent before Miyuki dares to ask, "Coach or no coach?"

"Doesn't matter," Sawamura replies with a shrug.

"Would you be able to handle it though?" Kuramochi raises an eyebrow, asking out of concern.

"I taught myself how to bunt," he smiles, raising an eyebrow, "What do you think?"

That leaves everyone speechless.
