*Creaks open door*
Uh… hi! So… uh… Been a hot minute, hasn't it? *Looks at date* damn…. Almost a whole month, huh? Hmm… well, I can explain! Er… so… ever heard of burnout? Fun, isn't it! Let me clarify. Not "writing as a whole" burnout, "but this particular story can fuck itself" burnout. Binge playing Pokemon Sun and Moon and COD Black Ops 3 Zombies doesn't help things either. To sum things up, I kinda just… lost all motivation with this plot for a bit. I'm not going to lie when I say I was a bit ahead of myself when writing this. And I had been pumping out chapters like a deadbeat dad was—I'm going to stop that joke there and say I did, yeah? Okay, great!
Look, I can't really make up an excuse as to why I haven't updated this for a whole month. All you gotta know is that I needed to step back, and I'm glad you guys didn't hound me (not gonna lie I kinda thought people would, but I guess not, so that's good).
I can't promise consistent, daily uploads, or hell, even weekly. If I did that, then that would just lead to the same loop repeating itself. The last thing I want is for this story to be remembered as "the one that the author gave up on because he burned himself out" kinda deal. So, from now on, I can't promise how this story will play out in terms of updates.
So yeah, outside of that, I think we're all good to go! With my nonsense apology out of the way, let's just jump headfirst into this shit! Yahoo!

Final Selection was something that Nezuko had been training almost a full year for, and she had been greatly disappointed by it. Every single Demon she fought within its perimeter had been nothing but fodder, and it was sad to see. Half the time she didn't even need to use Moon Breathing with them, she simply sliced their head off with a bit more oomph thrown into her strikes, and the heads came clean off.
The times she did use Moon Breathing was to deal with groups, specifically only using the Third Form – Loathsome Moon, Chains. And even when she did, it wasn't as satisfying as she wanted it to be. Muzan had told her that this would be difficult, and it turned out to be nothing but a cake-walk. Honestly, she had expected more from his Demons, but if they were this weak, then she wondered why a majority of them hadn't been exterminated en masse already.
Better yet, why the hell was Muzan creating all these weak demons in the first place? She knew that his blood was hard to acclimate to, but seriously? Where were all of the Demons with Blood Arts? Half of these wimps didn't even have a special attack. All they did was jump and leap and slice. If the Demon Slayers were this competent in trapping the Demons. Why not do the same thing on other mountains and capture the bastards, throw them into farms and just have them work themselves to exhaustion, then kill them?
Well, to be fair to them, Upper Moon Demons—hell, Lower Moon Demons too—were extremely dangerous. Maybe fodder Demons were just easier to capture, and perhaps it was a better use of one's time than to kill them. Though, that hand guy seemed strong. Well, not as strong as her, but strong enough to be near a Lower Moon in terms of strength. She could feel it. Well, not her, but her Demon Blade could sense it.
For whatever reason, it could sense the strength of another Demon. If it vibrated in its sheath, that meant it was powerful, as is what happened around The Hand Demon. Not once since the entire Final Selection had that happened again. Not once did The Demon Blade vibrate around any of the other Demons that she had encountered during her week-long stay within the forested area.
Speaking of her week-long stay within the Final Selection, as she was exiting the forest, a recap played off in her head of the events.
When her first day passed, she ended up camping with a few of the other contenders, and they made some small talk. She remembered only two of her fellow attendee's names, Shuichi and Koichi, both of whom were brothers, and both of whom were practicing in Stone Breathing.
After the day she met them, she never saw them again, so she assumed the worst.
The rest of the week had been filled with killing basic Demons, sleeping, eating, and repeating. She ran into that Tommy guy a few more times during it, and they even took out a small horde of Demons together. Apparently, Flame Breathing and Moon Breathing worked well together, and so they stuck together for the remainder of Final Selection.
By the time it was up, she, Tommy, some guy named Genya, a girl with purplish-black hair who she had not gotten the name of, and a boy named Zenitsu, from what Tommy had told her, were the ones to have made it. Shuichi and Koichi were nowhere to be seen, and therefore, she had assumed correctly. They died within the Final Selection.
And they were so young, too, only being 13 and 14 years old respectively. Now, to be fair, she was also 13, but at least she had experience under her belt and a teacher who was a Demon, an Upper Moon to be exact. Had that not been the case, she would've been certain that Technoblade would've not allowed her to go.
Speaking of the pig-man, he would be proud of her. Her only real 'wound' she had acquired from being within the walls of the Final Selection was a scraped knee she got from banging it against a rock after she tripped and fell over someone's corpse. A traumatizing site to see had it not been for the fact she lived around Kokushibo, who did occasionally come back with a corpse or two. So, if she were, to be honest, it wasn't even all that bad.
Upon exiting the forest, the group of five were met with the same two children from before, and in their still creepy tone, they spoke in unison. "Welcome back, Congratulations. We're glad you are safe," the two children said.
"So? What am I supposed to do now?" Genya, the boy with a scar across the side of his face, wearing a black Haori, white shirt, and black hakama pants, asked after mumbling something under his breath. In response, the girl with the plum coloured-hair spoke.
"First, we will provide your corps uniforms. We will take your measurements and then engrave your rank," the girl started as the one with black hair spoke up.
"There are 10 ranks that all Slayers can achieve normally. Kinoe, Kinoto, Hinoe, Hinoto, Tsuchinoto, Kanoe, Kanoto, Mizunoe, and Minzunoto. Right now, you are all the bottom rank of Mizunoto, including you, Kanao, as you have restarted your rank by entering the final selection."
At the black-haired girl's mentioning of her name, the purple and black-haired girl, Kanao, only nodded in response, her attention more focused on a random butterfly than what she had said. Genya then spoke up once more, this time saying what he had been mumbling out louder. "Where is my Katana?" the boy asked as the other girl addressed him.
"Today, with the exception of Tommy and Nezuko, you will choose the ore for your sword, then it will take up to two weeks for the katana to be finished. After you have received your sword, we will assign you a Kasugai Crow," the plum hair-coloured child said as Crows flew over to Tommy, Nezuko, Genya, Zentisu (who had gotten a sparrow instead), and Kanao. "You two, seeing as you have received your sword already from an unknown third party, we would like to know of how you obtained them."
"I received mine from my master, Rengoku Kyojirou," Tommy said, earning a nod from the two girls.
"What of you, Nezuko Kamado. How do you have your two Nichirn Blades?" The black-haired girl asked as Nezuko sighed.
"I received mine from a dying slayer who wanted me to have his. As for the other blade, it was made for me by my now deceased master, who I will not name out of respect for him," Nezuko stated, earning a nod from the two.
"Very well," the two girls said simultaneously.
"Ayo, what's this bird's name?" Tommy asked as the black-haired girl spoke.
"The bird has already named itself. You may ask it." And with that, Tommy looked at the bird, pet its head, then it squawked.
"Phil!"
Tommy almost sputtered but shook his head. "Alright then, Phil, do you—" A smacking sound reverberated around the area, causing everyone to look in the direction of where the smack had come from. Genya had smacked his crow away, wounding the bird, then marched over to the plum-coloured-haired girl, punched her in the head, making her stumble back, then grabbed her by the head with a rough pull and an irate expression.
"I don't give a damn about crows. Katana! I want my fucking Katana, and I want it now! A Demon Slayer Corps Katana! A Colour changing—" Before Genya could continue, he had been yanked back by his Haori, and spun around by Nezuko, who then decked him hard in the face, causing him to stumble on his arse.
"Lay your hands on them again, and you'll get a Katana all right. One stabbed straight through your chest like the animal you are," Nezuko spat, turning her attention over to the girl. "Are you alright?" Nezuko asked as the girl nodded.
"Thank you for your concern," The plum-haired girl said as the black-haired girl turned her attention toward Genya.
"Are you done talking?" She asked, no hatred in her voice, although there was a particular tinge of annoyance that Nezuko picked up on. "If so, then come over here. Please, choose the ore for making your Katana."
Tommy was irate, but he didn't let it show. "Genya was it. You're fuckin' lucky it was that girl who dealt with you," Tommy thought, crossing his arms. "Otherwise, I would've actually stabbed him. Props to Nezuko, though. I'm starting to like her already."
Then, without warning, an immense wave of hatred brushed past everyone and focused on Genya, making the boy lurch upward and step back. "You choose for yourself. The ore for the sword that will kill Demons and protect you."
Nezuko scoffed, checking back on the plum-haired girl, smiled, then walked away before joining up with Tommy. "I think we should travel together, don't you?" Nezuko asked as Tommy smirked.
"You read my mind, let's get out of here. I wanna stop by the town nearby to get something to eat. You down?" Tommy asked as Nezuko smiled.
"You have the same weird way of speaking as he does," the ravenette said, looking onward. There was a minute of silence and a bit of confusion coming from Tommy, but after a while, Nezuko finally replied. "Sure, why not."
In a faraway place, located on a hill secluded from society and everyone alike, sat Kagaya Ubuyashiki, petting a crow with his index finger, his blindness completely overtaking him. The crow in question had reported to him the number of survivors
"Five survived? Excellent. My children have increased in number again. I wonder what kind of swordsmen they will be?" Kagaya said, letting the bird fly off into the sky, letting out a deep sigh. A fit of paranoia had overcome him in the last few months, leaving his wife, Amane, concerned for him.
Amane had always been good to him, and because of that, he would always cherish her in his heart. However, as of recent, the two had grown distant from one another. The vision he saw, and what he said to his family, to the Hashira, was only a sliver of what he saw.
He saw a Demon, a Demon covered in an armour that was foreign to him, made out of some sort of black-hardened flesh. The Demon had one large eye in the center of its face, and it had tusks coming out of its jaw. It had a cape on its back, and in its hand was a massive three-pronged weapon twice its size. Fires roared around the demon, and bodies lined the floor.
And in the Demon's eye was the marking 血の神(Blood God) in its eye.
"Is everything alright, Kagaya?" Amane's voice brought him out of his stupor, causing him to look over his shoulder. Due to his blindness, it was only a gesture to the woman, but the smile reassured her.
Amane had snow-white hair, Lavendar-coloured eyes, and pale skin. She wore a purple haori with wisteria patterns and an off-yellow Kimono with a red flower pattern. She stood at the same height as Kagagya, that being 5'5, and carried herself with a professional posture.
"I'm fine, Amane. Although, something is troubling me…." Kagaya said, looking back toward the nature reserve. "That vision. I keep having it, no matter how much I try to think about something else or see past it, all I see is that vision. Almost like…."
"That is the true end. But we will be prepared. We will fight to the bitter end, my dear," Amane said, sitting beside him. "Our children will be safe, as well as myself. Your worries are unfounded," Amane began to rub his back, and the tension in his shoulders decreased.
Perhaps he had been overthinking things. His children, the Hashira, and all the Demon Slayers would be able to beat whatever came at them. And while he believed in them, this new threat. This Blood God that he kept seeing. He never showed up before. Did Muzan go in over his head for once? Did he create a Demon that was far stronger than even himself? Or perhaps this Demon was a Demon that lived across the shores of Japan, and somehow Muzan was able to leave the country of Japan to start up another Demon Empire elsewhere?
Or perhaps, there was more Demon Lords out there. Perhaps Muzan was just a drop in the bucket? Perhaps this Blood God was one of them, and he had heard about them. Perhaps he was something more than that. Whatever the case might have been, Kaguya didn't want to think about it. All he wanted to think about right now was the present.
"Damn the future. I don't care what the future might hold. The Demon Slayers have always prevailed. No matter what the case may have been, even when Muzan pushed us into a corner 100 years ago, we are still here to this day, directly opposing him now. My family has gone through generations of dedicated Demon Slayers, I will be damned if I am not the one to end this monster once and for all."

Several bone whips travelled at speeds faster than light itself, cutting down trees and uplifting the dirt and ground. A burst of speed flashed through the tree lines, killing animals as if they were nothing, punching through bears as if they were nothing but bushes, making massive boulders crumble into dust just by rebounding off of them.
When the blur stopped, the Demon King Muzan stood in the center of the chaos, his chest rising up and down slowly, taking deep, concise breaths as he viewed his handy work. Technoblade truly angered him back at the palace. But he knew damn well there was not a damn thing he could do about it.
He hadn't expected this development. He hadn't seen any of this coming. To think that someone as iconic as The Devil, or at least a figure similar to that man was what he had partnered with. To think he had tried to control that, and to think that he let him for so long. It was like he was being mocked for it.
"That bastard!" Muzan shouted, his body increasing in muscle mass, mouth-like things appearing all over his body as his hair grew out, the colour changing to white, and his eyes somehow becoming more demonic as a result. His body had fully healed since the time that Technoblade had made him look like a fool. He had his full powers back. And as he jumped up from the ground and into the air, he saw the whole forest beneath him.
He had been practicing this new power of his, and seeing as he had his full power, the attack would be devastating. He sucked in a massive breath, and as he built up what it was he needed in his lungs to use the attack, his body's Combat Form doubling the power of the attack, he blew out a strong gust of wind, and then, the fire soon came out. He spun in the air, and the entire forest was set ablaze.
When he landed on the ground, he clenched his hand into a fist as the entire forest blew up, all the while he let out an angered fill shout to the heavens. He wasn't weak. He was strong. He hadn't lived for over a millennium just to be weak.
The ground had been upturned from the explosion, whatever remained of the forest had been completely wiped off of the face of the Earth. Boulders were left as smouldering blobs of magma due to how hot the fire had been. The humid air and residual fires died out as an icy chill blew over the forest, which caused Muzan to turn around as Douma sat on one of the only rocks that hadn't been turned into a molten blob, one of his ice statues cooling the area down.
"Venting out some frustrations are we, my King?" Douma asked as Muzan returned to his base form, his hair reciting back to what it was from before, and the growths on his skin disappearing, absorbing back into his skin.
"Yes. I was. Have Nakima send us back, if you may," Muzan said, a wave of calm washing over him. Douma frowned, snapping his fingers as they returned to the palace. When they did return, Muzan was wearing his normal black shirt, white tie, and white pants. "Much better," the Demon King said, sighing. "Douma, have I made a mistake?"
Well, this caught Douma off guard, that much was for sure. Lord Muzan NEVER admitted any of his wrongdoings. Had The Blood God shaken him up that badly? Douma hummed, walking over to Muzan, hands behind his back as he raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I understand. What do you mean, Lord Muzan?" Douma asked as Muzan glared at him, only for his glare to let up, and for the Demon King to look away.
"Extending my hand to The Blood God. Do you think I made a mistake in doing that? Or do you think it would've been worse had I not done that? If he found out that I had been the one to kill Nezuko's family… he barely had to lift a finger to cripple me. He had me pinned down faster than anyone has in the past. Period. Not even Yoriichi, for all of his power, could beat me like that," Muzan explained, causing Douma to hum in contemplation.
The Second Upper Moon had a lot of opinions on the events that had transpired one week ago. Technoblade showed himself to everyone, and ever since then, both he and Wilbur had been being watched like hawks by the rest of the Upper Moons. While Wilbur would be able to take almost all of them down—hell, he knew that from just watching his pupil fight. If his student was strong enough to defeat Upper Moon Three, even if it was just barely, then what did that mean for Wilbur? He could easily take Upper Moon Three's spot and shift everyone beneath Douma down a spot.
Then there was Technoblade. He knew Technoblade would wipe the floor with all of them, especially if he was able to pin down Lord Muzan so effortlessly. It made him wonder if perhaps joining up with Technoblade would be more beneficial to himself later down the line.
Sure, he might've been loyal to Muzan, but if there was someone far stronger than Muzan, and if he could take the role as his Cults God, seeing as he literally was one, then perhaps that would be for not only the betterment of his Cult but for himself as well.
"If I were, to be honest, Lord Muzan. I believe that it was a mistake. Not only have I heard whispers and rumours coming from the Upper Moons about defecting to him due to how he, and I mean no offence by this, thoroughly wiped the floor with you. Although, I suppose it could've been worse. He could've teamed up with The Demon Slayers and killed us all in a matter of moments. Both options would have left some extremely nasty scars on The Twelve Kizuki. Out of the two, however, I believe the option you picked was ultimately the best one. Besides, there is still a chance to prove to the Upper Moons that you are stronger than him. After all, not all Gods are immortal, and some can be brought down with enough willpower," Douma explained as Muzan narrowed his eyes.
"There is… a descending opinion in the Upper Moons? Is Wilbur behind it?" Muzan asked as Douma shook his head.
"Surprisingly enough, it's actually Akaza. He believes you to be weak, Lord Muzan. Upper Moon Five and Upper Moon Four seem to agree with him, while Wilbur, myself, and Kokushibo believe the opposite. The Lower Moons are a lost cause, they fully believe in Technoblade now, which only leaves me, Wilbur—though he is questionable—and Kokushibo being fully loyal to you, my Lord."
Douma watched as Muzan balled his right hand into a fist, and snarled. "What utter nonsense…. HOW DARE THEY!" Muzan yelled, causing Nakime to flinch, and for his command to be fulfilled in a matter of moments. Akaza, Hatengu, and Gyokko to appear before him. Douma only smirked as the three looked shocked, then saw the pissed-off face of Muzan, and all bowed.
"Lord Muzan! To what do we owe the pleasure?" Akaza stated as Muzan used one of his flesh whips to wrap the Demon up and bring him face to face with the irate Demon Lord. The Third Upper Moon choked on air as Muzan glared into his eyes.
"Douma over here tells me that you three are planning to defect to Technoblade, is it?" Muzan snarled as Akaza's eyes widened. "Well, tell me he is wrong, and I'll let you all go, and I'll punish him for sowing descent," Muzan snarled, slamming Akaza into the ground below him as he grit his teeth, blood exploding from the ground below the Demon King. "BUT OF COURSE, YOU CAN'T! BECAUSE I CAN SMELL A RAT WHEN I SEE ONE!" Muzan roared, three massive meat tentacles appearing out of his back and flattening all of the Upper Moons before him, turning them into nothing but mush, destroying them at the cellular level, preventing them from regenerating.
Douma's smile widened as the three Upper Moons he hated the most perished before him, their screams and shouts echoing out throughout the palace as The Demon Lord looked over his shoulder. "Douma… find Gyutaro and Daki. Tell them that they have been accepted back into the Upper Moons. Nakime, grab Wilbur for me, he's being promoted to Upper Moon Three as of today."
Douma nodded, a small smirk on his face as Nakime teleported the second Upper Moon away. Nakime then strummed her Biwa once again, and Wilbur showed up, confusion on his face. "Huh? Oh, what did I do this time?" Wilbur groaned, standing up as Muzan rolled his eyes. "Oh, Muzan, what do you want now?" The Demon asked, causing the Demon Lord to jump down from his podium, approach the man, and force him onto his knees. Wilbur now grew confused as Muzan then stabbed his finger into the man's eye, and as soon as he did, he began to re-etch something new into his eye, removing the previous kanji within and replacing it.
After a few more moments of this, Muzan let go of Wilbur, who rubbed his eyes with a look of confusion. "Uh… may I ask what the hell that was about?" The British man asked, confusion in his expression as Muzan scoffed.
"You're the new Upper Moon Three. You see, there was… an issue with the prior Upper Moon Three, along with Four and Five, forcing me to remove them. Also," Muzan drawled, a meat tentacle stabbing itself into Wilbur, who then fell to the floor and convulsed. "You'll be receiving more of my blood, that is, of course, if you can handle it," The Demon King stated, a scowl on his face as the tentacle retracted, the new Upper Moon Three breathing heavily.
Wilbur felt a surge of power flow through his body. The strength that he now felt was unrivalled by any he had in the past. Although, as a result, his body was aching as he shook on the floor. He was in shock from the sudden blood transplant, but he would be able to get over it in no time. "Thank you… Lord Muzan…." The Demon said, causing Muzan to smirk.
"Now that, that is better. You're welcome, Wilbur. Now, leave, you know your mission. Find the Blue Spider Lily. I take it you still have that lead?" Muzan asked as Wilbur nodded from his prone position on the floor.
"Yes… Lord Muzan…." Wilbur groaned as the man nodded.
"Very well. Nakime, send him away," Muzan stated as Wilbur vanished. Leaping back up to his throne, Muzan smirked. Perhaps now things would get better for the Demon King.

"BROTHER!" A feminine voice spoke out to a man just a few feet away from her. The man had green hair, thin, green and red eyes, their sclera bright orange. His eyes were slanted drastically downwards at the sides, making him look perpetually depressed and annoyed, and he was carrying two Kama's in both of his hands. He was using them to chop down trees for firewood, just a few meters away from their camp.
The man in question was a relatively tall person with a somewhat muscular build and a black-dotted, pale grayish complexion. The upper portion of his body was muscular, while the middle section of his body was thin, his pelvis jutting out at an unnatural angle. In his eyes was the crossed-out kanji for Upper Moon Six in his eyes, and his teeth looked razor-sharp.
He wore no shirt, only wearing baggy blue pants with three red and black patterned cloth on his arms and around his neck. The man let out a sigh, looking over his shoulder.
"What do you want, Daki?" The Demon groaned, kicking a log up into the air and landing on his shoulder. He put his Kama's to the sides of his hips as he walked back, slamming the log down on the floor and cutting it in half with his bare hand.
"Oh… I was about to ask you if you were getting firewood… it's getting cold," Daki said with a small smile on her face. Daki was a slender, curvaceous woman with lime green eyes with the scratched out markings of Upper Moon Six within them, white hair with green tips, two flower crests on the upper left side of her forehead and the lower right side of her chin.
Despite the freezing cold, she was wearing a two-piece kimono consisting of magenta pink panties tied by long, black bows on the sides with two magenta pieces of cloth that covered her chest. She had magenta thigh-high stockings with black flower patterns and tall three-toothed sanmaiba-geta shoes.
"Hmph, you're impatient," the man said, rolling his eyes as he threw the pieces of wood into the fire. "Besides, it would've only taken me a few moments to get more wood, so don't be so impatient," the man said as Daki scoffed.
"Hah! Yeah right! Look who's talking! Look at me, I'm Gyutaro, I'm so strong! I also take my sweet time helping my sister when she's lonely!" Daki said, mocking him by doing an ape impression as Gyutaro rolled his eyes.
"Well, at least I actually do work. You sit on your ass all day and whine!" Gyutaro spat back, causing Daki to scoff.
"Well, just for your information, this ass is what got us our food yesterday and the day after that! So stop being a whiney bastard!" Daki snarled as Gyutaro huffed out air. It had been like this for a year now. Ever since they lost their position as Upper Moon Six, Daki and Gyutaro had been left to fend for themselves and to make matters worse, Daki had gotten bored of being in the entertainment district, and decided to try out forest living.
If it hadn't been for the fact that Gyutaro hated the Entertainment District with a searing passion, then he would've fought her on it. He always found it to be too flashy and eye-straining. Besides, he didn't mind the quiet of the forest, the chirping of birds, and the overall peace and serenity of the wilderness, even if it reminded him of worse times.
When he and Daki got kicked out of The Upper Moons, he thought Muzan was going to kill them both. But, for whatever reason he might have had, he had spared them, something about possibly having a second chance. And If or when he and Daki were given a chance to join the Upper Moons again, he would in a heartbeat.
But as of right now, they were relying on wandering travellers, sick people, or anyone that Gyutaro came across when he was getting firewood to keep them warm, for food and sustenance to keep themselves strong. Sure, Demons couldn't physically die due to the cold, but it was still uncomfortable. That, and if Gyutaro wanted to remain sane, he would have to keep their camp warm so that Daki wouldn't complain.
"You know… Daki," Gyutaro started, sitting down at the campfire as he outstretched his hands toward it, keeping the palms of his hands warm. "If you want, we could travel back to the entertainment district and get some food. The humans there were always better anyway—"
Before Gyutaro could finish his sentence, they watched as someone wearing a black suit came stumbling out of a bush and landed a few inches away from their fire. The man—who the pair were now convinced was a Demon—had half black and half white skin with the same styled hair. When the Demon sat up, he had one green eye and one red eye. Atop his head was a crown, and his ears were pointed like some sort of fantasy creature.
"Damnit… I knew I should've taken a left turn before that batch of blueberries…." The Demon said, standing up and dusting himself off. Both Daki and Gyutaro looked at one another, then looked at the Demon, who then looked at them and then shrunk into himself.
"Uh… can we help you?" Gyutaro said as the Demon shook his head.
"Well, I have to say, this is NOT what I wanted. And if I were to take a guess, with those crosses in your eyes, your former members of The Twelve Kizuki, right?" The Demon said, which caused the two's alarm bells to go off in their heads. The only Demons that knew of the Twelve Kizuki were the Twelve Kizuki themselves, or a Demon who has reached that level of strength and was being tested for the Twelve Kizuki.
"Yeah, what is it to you?" Daki snapped as the Demon raised his hands in a surrendering manner.
"Hey, hey, chill out! I'm not here to fight, I just want to know if the two of you have seen a blond-haired human with blue eyes and pale skin. He's, er, well, he's a close friend of mine," The Demon said before adjusting his tie. "Oh, and my name's Ranboo, just so we make that clear, that, and manners are important when meeting new people."
The two former Upper Moons looked at one another with a mix of confusion in their eyes. A human and a Demon, allies? Did the sky turn blood red, or were pigs now suddenly flying? "Uh… but shouldn't Demons be eating humans? More specifically, seeing as you're a Demon, did you mean that your hunting that boy?" Gyutaro questioned as this 'Ranboo' person shook his head, shaking his hands as if to wave off the statement that Gyutaro made.
"N-No! Why would I do that! Also, uh, I'm NOT a Demon. I'm an Enderman. And no, I will not explain, because if so, I'd be here for hours. All you have to know is that I could probably kick any members of the Twelve Kizuki's ass without so much as blinking," Ranboo stated as Daki scoffed.
An Enderman? What the hell was an Enderman! Well, whatever he was, he seemed to think he could beat a member of the Twelve Kizuki as if it were child's play. "Oh, really now. Do you seriously think I believe—"
Before Daki could finish, Ranboo clapped his hands together, and in between his hands was a small black orb. "You see this?" Ranboo asked as the two Demons raised an eyebrow.
"Uh, yeah, we can see it, so what is it?" Gyutaro answered, glancing over to Daki, who looked annoyed that she had been interrupted but kept a level head so as to not freak out on whoever this individual had been.
"It's a Black Hole. Well, to be exact, it's a stabilized Black Hole. What it does, is that if anything were to go near it, the Black Hole would eradicate anything in its circumference. Now, that's only if it is stabilized. If I were to destabilize it, then the entire planet would be destroyed. Where we sit, right now, would be annihilated, and I wouldn't have to have blinked in order for it to happen. Keep in mind that all I had to do to summon this thing was to clap. So imagine what I could do if I was putting in some sort of effort."
With that ominous message finished, both Daki and Gyutaro looked at one another, then back to Ranboo, then collectively agreed mentally to NEVER get in this guy's bad books.
"You said you were looking for a friend, right?" Gyutaro asked, changing the subject as Ranboo whisked away the Blackhole as if it were nothing to him, which slightly unnerved the two Demons, but they pretended to ignore it.
"Why yes, I am," Ranboo said as Gyutaro looked over to Daki, who smiled with a hint of something sinister behind it.
"We'll help you. We're bored, we have nothing else better to do, and we'd rather be allies than, well, end up dead. Besides, you seem like a nice guy," Daki said, adjusting herself to look more appealing, which only caused Ranboo to raise an eyebrow.
"Uh… ma'am, are you trying to….?" Ranboo left the question up in the air as Daki shook her head, shocked that he had caught on so fast.
"Well, you're attentive. Yes, I was. You have a good set of eyes and quick thinking. Most men would fall for my looks alone. What makes you so different?" Daki questioned as Ranboo face-palmed.
"I'm already married—"
"So?" Daki replied, interrupting Ranboo with a small smirk on her face.
"I wasn't finished," Ranboo stated, glaring at Daki. "As I was saying, I'm already married to a guy. That, and I'm not exactly into the whole, sex appeal nonsense you have going on here," Ranboo stated as Daki's jaw dropped, and Gyutaro raised an eyebrow.
"Y-You're GAY?!" Daki near shrieked as Ranboo recoiled.
"What! No! I just… I'm married to a man because it was the best course of action. That, and we wanted a better life for our son, so—"
"Dude, that's something a Gay couple would do," Gyutaro interrupted as Ranboo went to counter what it was the Demon had said, only to stop. "See, even you agree. Whatever, not like it matters. Still doesn't mean we won't help you," the green-haired Demon replied, cracking his neck from side to side. "The sun's going to come up soon, so we gotta find a spot to hide from it," Gyutaro stated as Ranboo raised an eyebrow before nodding.
"Oh, right, I forgot. Demons have to hide from the sun," Ranboo stated as he snapped his fingers. Two blue flowers appeared in his hands, which caused the two Demons to recoil. "Now, you don't have to eat them, but I suggest you do, it'll make things easier for the three of us. Quickly now, before they wilt," Ranboo stated as the two Demons looked at one another, then realized what it was he was holding.
"Did you just—"
"Teleport and snag two Blue Spider Lilys that were literal miles and miles away? Yes, yes I did. Now hurry up and eat them so you don't have to worry about the sun."
-To Be Continued-
YUP! CLIFFHANGER! Also, Daki and Gyutaro show up. A lot of people thought they were dead. I don't know why they thought that, these two are just too powerful to kill off. Also, we're getting closer to the canon timeline of Kimitsu no Yaiba. So, with that being said, a lot of stuff that happened in the early Manga of Kimitsu no Yaiba is about to happen for our two Demon Slayer friends, except, with a little bit more… hm, how should I put it.
You know what? Why don't we just wait until we get to that point? Also, what is Ranboo planning? Something, that much is for sure. Until next time everyone, peace!
