The team ends up in Miyuki's room like usual, but play Never Have I Ever.
Ryo-san "got" them to play it. Plus, according to Tetsu, "It'll be a good bonding experience."
Everyone else sweat-drops and has no choice but to go along with it.
It starts off fairly simple. Best out of five.
"Never have I ever gotten a date," Jun starts off.
All fingers go down, including Jun's.
"Never have I ever…gotten into a fight," Ryo-san asks.
"Does slapping count as getting into a fight?" Sawamura innocently asks.
"Yes."
Only Miyuki, Kuramochi and Sawamura remain. Everyone else puts their fingers down.
"Well…this is a surprise," Ryo-san smirks.
"Knowing you Mochi…it's in your character," Miyuki teases.
"Oh shut it! What about you?!" Kuramochi yells.
"Never said I fought back, just that I had gotten involved in a fight," Miyuki answers, "What about you Bakamura?"
Sawamura shrugs, "I may have slapped the hell out of some guys before for insulting my friends."
Everyone notes to watch out for that.
It's Tetsu's turn now, "Never have I ever... been a captain."
Tetsu's finger remains, but so does-
"Sawamura?!"
Sawamura laughs, "I was captain for all three years of middle school."
Then, Tanba had his turn, "Never have I ever... been an ace."
To their surprise, only Tanba, Jun, and Sawamura's fingers remain.
"..."
"You've been an ace, Jun-senpai?!" Sawamura yells.
"In middle school," Jun answers, "You too, Sawamura?"
"Yup! Middle school," he nods.
"I thought you were the captain in middle school?" Haruichi asks.
"I was both. It's what happens when there's only one pitcher on the team."
That revelation surprised them again.
"You…were the only pitcher on the team, so you were ace by default?" Miyuki asks, "And on top of that, you were also captain?"
"Yup!" Sawamura smiles, "My turn! Never have I ever... created a team from scratch by myself."
"WHAT?!" they yell all fingers went down except Sawamura's.
"I didn't know how to tell you guys otherwise..." Sawamura shrugs, smiling sheepishly, "If I didn't tell you now, I probably would take it to my grave!"
Mostly, they were surprised that Sawamura had the responsibilities of both captain and ace on his back for three years. That Sawamura had to do everything by himself.
Not bothering to elaborate any further on it, Sawamura announces, "Bonus round! Never have I ever wanted to quit baseball."
All fingers went down, as per the rules.
That was before Sawamura escaped outside.
Meanwhile, everyone in the room just sighs deeply. They learned more about each other yes, but it doesn't mean it wasn't surprising, especially Sawamura.
They all agree to keep a better eye on Sawamura from now on.
Unbeknownst to them though… Sawamura hid his hand behind his back, not willing to put down a finger.
Sighing, Sawamura decides to keep that secret to himself.
