"Gage, Gage!" squealed the boy as he struggled to contain his excitement, as he trailed the other boy.

Slender arms wrapped about the others boy's chest, attempting to pull him into a hug.

A smile graced Coady's boyish facial features, as he couldn't help but smile, just to see Gage made him happy enough.

He hadn't talked to him since Friday night, which was quite odd now that he thought about it.

Usually, the boys spent hours on the phone rambling on and on about nothing, it just seemed that they enjoyed the company of each other's voices. Though, that smile soon vanished as he watched the other boy tear away from the loving embrace, which he offered.

"No, Coady, No." spoke the other boy, his voice not jokingly whatsoever, more cold and emotionless; almost as if trying to choke back a sob or something along that line.

Having been pushed away, Coady cocked his head in confusion.

Why was Gage acting this way? Surely, within the few moments he had greeted him it would've been impossible to upset him.

"Gage..." he started, his tone apologetic and the slightest bit hurt as he'd never witnessed the seventeen year old boy acting in such a way before, never before had he refused an embrace, or never had he never wanted anything to do with Coady.

This was just out of the ordinary that was for sure.

"Just leave me alone, Coady." Gage hissed, attempting to hold back a sob, as he abruptly walked away from the other boy.

Coady would never forget the awkward silence that regained as he watched the other walk away.

Pale blue eyes stared down at the worn pair of black Chuck's, which adorned his feet, as he tried to hold back the few tears, which had surfaced in his own eyes.

"I'm sorry, Gage, I'm sorry..." he spoke, his voice soft and nearly as loud as a voiceless whisper.

"Gage, I'm sorry." the boy spoke again though not quite sure as to why he was apologizing.
