13. Path of Daggers:

Rand fights Graendal in King's Landing and she barely escapes alive. Red Keep suffers a lot of destruction, though people outside of it are fairly safe. With Asha'man, Aes Sedai and Legion of the Dragon at his side, King's Landing surrenders to him without almost any fight. Cersei is banished, and she, now mad, takes Tommen with her, leaving the Iron Throne empty. Rand personally executes Littlefinger, Pycelle, Roose Bolton and many other members of the Small Council and great lords, but he leaves Varys and Kevan Lannister alive, and spares the Kingsguard and City Watch in the city. Though refusing to sit on the throne, he does take the title of Protector of the Realm, until he appoints a new ruler, since there is no sign of Tommen and Cersei. He travels to the North to meet Stannis, offering him the Throne, but Howland Reed, with all the Northerners and wildlings at Jon's side, publicly reveals the secret that Jon is the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna. Jon refuses the throne, but gains a lot of supporters. Many lords and ladies in Westeros talk about land and power, but Rand proclaims to the entire realm that there is only one war and that the Wall is where they should fight that war. Perrin, meanwhile, travels to the Wall immediately, and finally meets Bran. There are a few chapters focused in the Westlands, primarily the great battle at Ebou Dar. Viserion goes mad and flies west. Daenerys then decides she has had enough and sails west too. Mat tells her he cannot go with her yet and goes for the Tower of Ghenjei instead. Rand plans to negotiate with Euron Greyjoy, but Euron attacks Oldtown instead, looking for Sam. He claims the Horn of Joramun and blows it. The Wall is destroyed and the Others march south. Cersei, having taken refugee in the North, is choked to death by wight Tommen, fulfilling the Valonqar prophecy.

14. Towers of Midnight:

Daenerys arrives to Westeros, and goes into conflict with Stannis and Rand. Rand tries to negotiate many times, but Daenerys refuses and demands the throne immediately. A huge conflict grows between Stannis and Daenerys, as both have a valid claim to the throne, while Jon himself struggles with his identity. Theon sacrifices himself in the battle to save Rand from Drogon and Theon is burned alive in front of Rand. Then, news of the Others reach everyone. They are killing all over the North and are marching south to the Neck. Paranoid, Rand plans to go North, but he is stopped by a rebel army led by Lady Stoneheart, where he loses his hand. In Westlands, Tyrion succeeds at convincing Cairhien nobles to accept Elayne as their queen and makes a deal with the White Cloaks, winning Galad to her side. Elayne makes peace with White Tower and multiple kingdoms around, all thanks to Tyrion's counsel. Mat goes to the Tower of Ghenjei and frees Moiraine. In the Aryth Sea, Euron sacrifices multiple priests of various religions, along with Aes Sedai and Asha'man, and his brother Aeron Damphair. In turn, Euron summons krakens from the water, who cause chaos throughout the world. He then also gains huge power from the Dark One himself and with it he creates the specific type of gateway, transporting much of the Army of the Dead into the Westlands. He claims Viserion and flies east.

15. The Winds of Winter:

The Others invade both Westeros and Westlands, bringing chaos and death wherever they go. Just like dragons, they seem to be immune to all weaves except the strongest ones, like balefire and deathgates, but it is still ineffective. Whether the Shadowspawn or the armies of the Light fall, the Others raise them. Their numbers grow insane, but political fights, though less aggressive, do not stop in neither Westeros nor Westlands. Rebels want to kill Rand. Westerosi Asha'man believe they should rule. Black Tower gets split into multiple factions and White Tower as well. Stannis and Daenerys still continue their quarrel. The Ironborn, Valemen and Stormlanders decide to sail to Westlands for the reason of conquest. Even Elayne and Tyrion start removing their political enemies. Arya tries to kill Rand for killing her mother in the battle. Rand snaps at seeing all of this, especially after Semirhage almost makes him kill Min and after Cadsuane manipulates Tam. He Travels to King's Landing, intending to destroy the city itself, but is dazed when he sees how peaceful the city is. Enraged, he goes to the courtroom of the Red Keep, where everyone, including Jon, Daenerys, Stannis, Varys and many others, is waiting for him to choose a new ruler. Instead, he lashes out at all of them, channels the True Power, yelling:

"NONE OF YOU WILL SIT ON THAT CHAIR!"

He is so terrifying even Drogon and Rhaegal are scared of him. But instead of attacking them, he turns around and melts the Iron Throne. He Travels to Dragonmount. Hopeless, he channels more power than ever through Choedan Kal, with the intent to break the world, until Lews Therin shows him hope and meaning. Then, Rand destroys the Choedan Kal, finally finding peace.
