16. A Memory of Light:

After Caemlyn falls to Demandred and the Others, the Dragon's Peace is signed on the Fields of Merrilor. Rand then also convinces Daenerys and other Westerosi lords to sign the treaty, by which all borders are set and the war is outlawed. Daenerys agrees to stay in Westeros, but she demands the right to choose those who will rule over the lands she conquered in Westlands, like Astapor and demands that no army of Westlands starts military actions on Westeros. The Wildlings in Westeros are also allowed to either stay beyond the ruins of the Wall or join the Seven Kingdoms, under the condition that they obey the laws. Reluctantly, Daenerys also names Stannis her Hand and heir, until she bears one. The treaty also has a very important note, which reasons for only Rand, Perrin and Bran know: if the Others retreat from the battle on their own will, no one is to pursue them or slaughter them later on, unlike the other Shadowspawn. People are astonished and offended at this, but after much convincing, they agree to this.

Five Great Captains are chosen to lead battles at various locationa: Agelmar Jagad, Gareth Bryne, Davram Bashere, Rodel Ituralde, Stannis Baratheon.
Because of the Others and the Dark One being bound by only two remaining seals, sun is not visible in the sky and is covered by the cloud, symbolizing the beginning of the new Long Night. During the Last Battle, following characters die: Melisandre, Stannis, Egwene, Bryne, Suian, Birgitte, Gawyn, Rhuarc, Davram and Diera, Alanna, Hurin, Tormund, Barristan Selmy, Arya. Bran gets lost and his whereabouts are unknown. Jaime and Lan together fight Demandred and kill him. Jaime later meets wight Cersei and gives her the gift of mercy, with both of them dying in each other's arms. Sandor and Gregor Clegane both die fighting one another. Jon and Daenerys ride on Rhaegal and Drogon and defeat Euron who was going feral on the battlefield with Viserion. Sam eventually shoots Euron, who finally falls from Viserion. Fueled by the Dark One's power, Euron goes to kill Rand. An Other, presumably the eldest and most powerful one and called the First of the Others, along with Euron, Lanfear and Padan Fain, all go to kill Rand. But they fail: the First is killed by Jon, who also dies in the process. Euron is killed by Daenerys, Lanfear by Perrin (who was saved by Bran) and Fain by Mat (who temporarily rode Rhaegal while looking for Fain). With Heroes of the Horn arriving, among them many Targaryens and their dragons, and many great warriors like Robert Baratheon and Robb Stark, Rand wins his struggle with the Dark One. (In one of his visions, he saw Daenerys and Jon happily married, with children and dragons laying in the grass and playing with goats and sheep.) He seals the Bore and his body dies in the process. In a eulogy on his burning pyre, Sam mentions that Rand was the Father of Dragons.

"We all owe him a debt that can never be repaid. He was the Sword in the Darkness. He was the Shield that guarded the realms of men. He was the Fire that burned against the cold. The Light that brought the Dawn. The Horn that Woke the sleepers. We shall never see his like again. For now his watch has ended!"
Even dragons pay respect to Rand's body and then it is burned by their fire.

Trollocs, Draghkar and Myrddraal have almost all been killed. The Others are nowhere to be found. So the victory is proclaimed for the forces of the Light. And Rand, in Moridin's body, gains the peace he deserved for so long.

Thank you all for being a part of this and all who read this. "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "The Wheel of Time" are perfect mirrors of each other and two sides of the same coin, so I thought examining this hypothetical series and story would have been insteresting. I hope it was fun as well.

This is not the end though. All of this was sumarizing the entirety of this crossover. Later on, we will be delving into specific scenes and events. Until then, see ya and please review!:)
